Meet Ribbons, a 20-something year old skunk living somewhere in Seafoam Cliffs!
A queer and quirky character, most everybody who visits the beach knows her. She's quite the regular about the docks almost any time of day, any time of year. She's quite well known for doing what she wants, when she wants. Anytime.
Recently, she's been seen wearing this odd pendant. She says she found it at a junk store. It radiates with an odd light. Wonder if that's the whole story?

Lance McClain who used to do Ballet. He started it because he loved watching the old videos of his mother dancing with beautiful red dresses and lively music, all grace and confidence. He listens to her talk about her old days of dancing, her making jokes about how she uses to be so skinny and how marrying a good cook and having all her baby children helped her feel more full both physically and in her heart. Lance begs her to teach him and shoes does, small things at first before he turns six and she gets dancing lesson for free from some of her old friends and even one of her old teachers. He goes to competitions and wins, making friends and ignoring the nasty kids in his class that mock him for various reasons. The girls mock him for wanting to do more feminine dances, the boys for how his mother coddles him and all of them for how ‘annoying’ he is for getting along with the teachers so well. It’s not out of malice, he just wanted to be their friends, but no one ever believed him. When he joins the garrison, he only does stretches in the morning and sneaks into the roof at night to practice some of his favourite dances, even if he doesn’t want it for a career anymore. For a long time Lance just sees dance as an art form, for beauty and a way to tell a story. It’s when he’s in the training room and uses a simple spin to avoid a hit from one of the bots that he starts to mix his passion of dance with his skill at fighting. He still prefers to be a sniper, the satisfaction of hitting that perfect shot might as well be an addiction for him. Yet, when ever he does close quarters combat, he finds himself feeling just like his mother in those old videos. It’s not a faux reaction when he acts confident afterwards, like it usually might be. He feels brave and smart and gorgeous in a way he never thought he could. He uses leaps and spins and pointed toes to his advantage, to avoid hits and knock weapons out of hands. After a while he starts to use pistols, adding them with his grace as best he can. During a tough fight we’re he was cornered and alone, his Bayard changed suddenly, forming a thin, almost steal like ribbon. He had danced hundreds of ribbon dances before, it was the same, only now when it whipped around his body it became a shield, it cut through his opponents with a sharp crack and silent flow. He gets stronger, faster and smarter than ever before. He’s quick thinking as he uses their own weapons against them, as he uses a overhead beam to surprise attack a droid, even when he’s talking with possible allies he is quicker to catch lies and hidden interest. Lance knew dance could be powerful, he just needed to know it could be dangerous as well.

Your Name Klance AU anyone? 😂 Got the bright idea to draw some Kimi No Na Wa Klance stuff recently! I was actually going to draw different frames but I decided to just do one solid piece for now ^^ Anyone wondering where the ribbon would go? So am I! 😂😂 I imagine it would be worn as a bracelet or maybe a necklace of some sort! owo

Klance AU totally not based off of that one Pokestar Studios movie where Lance is a bratty prince who stumbles through a magical door, gets kidnapped by a witch (Haggar?), teams up with an adorable grumpy plush toy who was cursed (Keith) and together they defeat the witch and escape back to Lance’s world. After that the plush toy breaks free of his curse, transforms back into a human, and Lance marries him and they live happily ever after
But mostly just Lance carrying Keith around in his pocket or on his shoulder in his plush toy form I crave that content and Lance constantly referring to his toy form after they get home is the best
Lance: Honestly I prefer you in plush toy form you’re so unmanageable now
Keith: Hey
Lance: Don’t get angry and lose your stuffing, babe ;)
Keith: I’m going to kill you and it will be painful, all those years of gatekeeping and sacrificing intruders to the witch will come in handy
Lance: I’m sorry I’M SORRY

White Day confession
@searleine hi, I’m your Secret Santa for @voltronsecretsanta! I’ll be honest and did plan on writting a different fic, but I got really busy so I still hope you enjoy this. I got the idea from the DNAngel episode when we find out Disake’s parents. Happy Holidays and enjoy!
Lance squeezed past the gate right before the security guard closed it, dashing to the shoe lockers. He opened his, barely paying attention to the notes that came falling out. He quickly changed his shoes and scooped up the letters, running off to his class. He barely made it through the door before the bell rang. Mr. Shirogane, shook his head, waving him off to his seat. There were a few gifts on his desk that he shoved inside where his books were along with the notes.
“Alright everyone. We have a few announcements before classes start, but first, happy White’s Day.”
White’s Day, March 13, the companion holiday to Valentine’s Day. In their town, the took the white part seriously, giving people white items as presents. Of course, usually the girls would get gifts on White’s Day, but Lance seemed to be special. Maybe it was because he misunderstood the holidays when he first moved down to Japan. He thought he was supposed to give stuff on Valentines and then receive on White’s Day. Even as he went to different schools, the trend still followed, Lance McClain was gifted a white item from his admires on White Day. Usually he’d smile through it, getting very used to his large fan club. He was a foreign guy who looked nice, part of the swim team and genuine a nice guy. Girls liked that and crowding around him. After a while of pretty shallow crushes, he started to get bored. He liked the idea of White Day, a day where you could tell a person how you feel and all the pressure wasn’t forced on Valentine’s. Plus…last year he received the best present.
It was such a simple one. The main reason it caught his attention was because of how simple it was compared to the rest of the gifts he received. A handmade white and blue bracelet. There was no name, no flowery letter, no immediate cry to be noticed. It was a simple gift that he was meant to enjoy and he did. He wore it since the day he got it. He hoped by the end of the day, he might receive another, or even better, meet the person who just wanted to give him a gift. A really selfish part of him hoped it was that guy from the train. Since he started high school, there was a guy on the same train as him. He attended the private high schools, based on the uniform. He looked like he didn’t belong though. He had long hair, a mullet. It was usually pulled back into a ponytail, allowing the many earrings on his ears to be seen. In the warmer months where he was in his summer uniform, he had a very visible tattoo on his arm, an odd-looking symbol. He’d seen the older train riders turn their noses up at it, but something about it – who was he kidding, everything about him drew Lance’s attention. He wanted to talk to him but he was always so nervous. He might look like a rebel but he could easily be snobby and rude and Lance only had so much self confidence to deal with people like that. Maybe be could finally pluck up the courage to do it today.
He let out a yawn, feeling too slow to cover his mouth. Assuming he didn’t fall asleep on the train. He had stayed back at school late for practise and there was a good chance of that happening again. He was hoping that the captain having a girlfriend would keep him too busy to call for practise. He also had a headache. All these late nights were starting to catch up to him. It was fine though, all he had to do was get through today.
                                                   ____________
“Wow.” Rachel said as she watched Hunk help Lance bring in his White Day gifts. She also noticed her brother was pouting, but she knew it couldn’t be because of the gifts. He had gotten used to the large amount received on Valentine’s and White Day years ago. They would usually be regifted to family members. “is it bigger this year?”
“Does it matter?” Lance sulked, dropping the items in the living room and stomping off to his room.
Rachel raised an eyebrow at Hunk, who tugged at the orange ribbon tied around his wrist. At first, she was confused. He used the ribbon to push his bangs back if need be. Then she understood. It wasn’t the ribbon, but it being around his wrist, like the unnamed bracelet around Lance’s. if he was sulking, then…no unnamed gift came.
While her mother came in, greeting Hunk and offering him food, while marvelling over the gifts, she went up to Lance’s room. He’s unpacking his bag, putting books for homework in the middle and making sure he pulled out his swim stuff to get washed. She noticed he kept rubbing at his wrist. The bracelet is missing.
“So, where is it?”
“My bag. I didn’t get to put it back on after practise.” He pulled it out from the bottom of his bag and sets it on the desk. “Not that it matters. There was nothing new from them.”
“Can’t be the only reason.” He seemed even more upset for no gift giver to not show up.
“Remember that guy I talked to you about? The guy from the private school on the train? Guess what I was hoping to do today, if he was actually there?”
“He wasn’t there?” Rachel had heard more than enough about this guy, Lance talked enough about him, about the small things he noticed and how cute he looked. She was hoping to one day here he got up the courage to go talk to him but of course things couldn’t be that easy.
“And if that’s not enough, I’ve got a huge paper to finish, because our English teacher is horrible.”
“Hey, at least you can speak the language. I guess you also forgot about babysitting duty tonight?” any other time, she would have taken over for her younger brother, but she had a date with the guy from her college she’d been crushing on for weeks. She wasn’t about to give that up.
Lance groaned. “I’m going back downstairs. I saw macaroons, and I’m not letting Hunk eat them.”
“Hey, I know this sucks now, but think about it this way. If the person who gave you gift doesn’t think you’re worth it, that’s on them. and as for the guy on the train, if he’s really a rebel, he’ll realise how amazing you are, even if you take a bit more time to go talk to him.”
“Yeah, here’s hoping.”
                                                _______________
Lance was drained. The kids thankfully only had an hour of going insane before they calmed down and he was able to get them to bed, but with how tired he was, Japanese, Spanish and English were all messing around in his head. It took twice as long to finish his assignment, not to mention the text from the captain about practise in the morning. Lance didn’t love taking the train early, cause it was always packed. His usual time wasn’t as bad, but being chained off for a while so the platform wasn’t packed with people like it was the last train, was something he could do without. He yawned, ready to take a nap, even if it took 30 minutes to get to school, but it was either sleep on the train, or stay home and sleep and deal with annoyed and anger swim captain.
“Alright, this way please.” The barricade was moved and the station staff waved the group of people up the stairs, to take their places in the correct areas. Lance was able to get a spot near the front under his area. Usually he’d people watch, take note of the different groups, but his eyes kept slipping shut. And his sight was doubling and moving? Or was that him?
“Look out!” something grabbed his arm and yanked him, just as the sound of the train registered. He landed on a firm chest, that took him as he felt his legs give out. He blinked, to realise the train was pulling into the station and station staff were quickly approaching him. Had he been so tired he almost…? “Are you ok?”
He looked behind him and there he was. The private school student, the one he shared the train rides with. He noticed his eyes were dark, kinda like gems.
“Sir? Are you alright?” a staff member asked
“yeah. Yeah, sorry. I felt dizzy.”
He was helped up and the staff directed them to the station office. Lance felt his legs tingling, like he’d walked too much after being lazy for a while.
“Do you still feel dizzy?” the private school guy asked.
“A bit.”
He watched him stand up and dig into his pants pocket, pulling out a wallet. And something else.
“I can go get you some water.” But Lance wasn’t paying attention to that. He pulled the white and blue bracelet from the guy’s hand.
“This is…”
Like a light switch, the guys face went red and he looked embarrassed. He was kept from saying anything as another staff member came in with cups of water and a sugary snack for Lance. They wanted him to stay until he didn’t feel dizzy before letting them call his school to let them know what happened.
They were left alone and Lance sat waiting. The guy could have run off the moment he had a chance, but he sat there, sitting still.
“My name’s Keith. I’ve seen you on the train for almost 2 years now and I’ve wanted to talk to you. you’ve got quite a name for yourself. Even people in my school have heard of you. last year, I had a gift get taken to your school and when I saw you wearing it the next day, I almost went over and told you it was me, but I chickened out. So I said this year, I’d do like a big gesture to give it to you.”
“except you messed that up by pulling it out with your wallet.” Lance pointed out, laughing. Keith’s face got redder and he pouted. “So why a bracelet?”
“Well, you got so much stuff from what I understood and I don’t know. Something small and simple seemed to fit you. I mean, I can tell that bag is old. The mascot you have on it really faded, so you’ve had it for a long time.” He said, nodding to the dolphin plush he had on his bag. “the sleeves on the hoodie you wear in the winter months have frayed edges, but it’s not like you can’t afford to get a new one, you just wearing to death. I wanted to give you something you’d have for a long time. So, yeah.”
Lance felt happy to know that Keith seemed to notice things about him, like he’d done to Keith.
“Can you help me put it on?” Lance handed Keith the bracelet back and gave him his wrist, ready and waiting. His chest felt fluttery as Keith tied the bracelet around his wrist, right on top of the old one. “So, I might just end up walking home and sleeping for the next couple hours, but we have half day tomorrow for that national teacher training thing. What about you?”
“No school.”
“So, if you’re up for it, why don’t you come pick me up from school and we can go hang out? Maybe as a date?”
“Yeah, that sounds good to me. I’ll make sure to catch you again if you end up fainting.”
“Who knows, cute guy, great day? It might be in the cards.”

Dianakko Week  @dianakko-week
Day 6: Space/Stars
I’ll Be Back
Read it in AO3 here!
Summary:
“Who are you talking to?”
“The Rod, I’m sure he was taking care of me”
“Yeah, I’m also pretty sure he was”
“Hey hey hey! Don’t worry Diana, I’ll be back before you even notice I left, it’s just a small trip to the Moon Forest, in and out!”
A young Asian girl was saying to her blonde girlfriend while she was shoving random things inside a medium size red backpack
“I know Akko, but either way, I’m not comfortable with you going to a fairly new magic forest in the middle of nowhere just because you can speak with fairies, there are a lot of witches that can speak with them! I know how to speak with them! Why did they have to choose you?”
Diana exclaimed angrily, she just couldn’t believe why out of nearly every witch in Europe the “oh-so-prepared” explorers had to select her girlfriend, yeah, she knew Akko was a great witch and a really brave person but, why?!
Then of course, she didn’t doubted about the capabilities of her girlfriend, she just was worried about the fact that the Moon Forest was discovered barely two years ago after the restoration of magic, and it wasn’t explored at all, there were still places that no one dare to pass thanks to the fact that maybe in those specific spots were living all kinds of magical creatures, dangerous magical creatures to be more specific.
“It’s just going to be a month, and Diana you know why I’m the chosen one, and always remember, it might be dark inside, but there are still stars shining in the sky, I’ll come back here in a month and we are going to have a date, what do you think of that?”
Akko said with her bag already in her back, she was wearing the most comfortable clothes she had, denim jeans, a pair of black sports shoes, a white t-shirt and a red hoodie, her wand was tied up in her waist with her old Luna Nova red ribbon.
The reason why she was the witch chosen among all of the ones in Europe was that she was once the wielder of the Claiomh Solais and the savior of magic, therefore a lot of people believed that she had some kind bond with magical creatures, this belief has not been proven yet but either ways the explorers preferred to have her by their side, also is worth to say that even if Diana was also once kinda the wielder of the Shiny Rod and the savior of magic she didn’t were selected because of her responsibilities as the head of the Cavendish house
“Also, the forest is not so far from the manor, if somehow I’m late you can always go to look for me”
She said while she gave her girlfriend a kiss on the lips
“Now let’s go, I’m running late and I’m sure James must be mad by now”
It was a peaceful Saturday night, and even if Diana was a little sad because Akko was going away she knew her cute girlfriend was right, there were still stars shining on the outside, her personal star was not going to abandon her, it was just a couple of weeks and then she would be back with a lot of scrapes in her arms and mud in her face, just like it always has been
“Alright sweetheart, but promise me you won’t be doing anything too reckless, I love your scars and all of that but I would prefer not to have to heal more of them… and… you know I’ll miss you, so just come back to me, okay?”
Both of them were now on the front door of the Cavendish manor, the night was a little cold but it wasn’t annoying at all
“Yes, Diana! Don’t be too worried about me, I’ll be fine! There’s nothing that Atsuko Kagari can’t handle!”
The crimson eyed girl said with a mock tone while she was making exaggerated poses
“I know you’ll be fine dearie”
Diana let a sight escape from her lips as she looked up to the night sky
“And you know I’ll always come back to you, so, when you look to the night skies don’t think of goodbyes, think how I’m right here by your side, if my memory is still in your mind then it means that I had never really leave you”
The brunette said with sweetness, and before she left the house she took the face of her beloved girlfriend and she gave her a quick kiss on the lips
“I love you Diana! See you next month!”
She took her broom as she muttered “Tia Freyre”, and the she left
“I love you too”
Diana went back to the inside of the manor with a strange concern
—————————
It was Saturday in the morning, Akko was coming back from her trip today and Diana was a little to excited, since Akko left something in her gut started telling her this trip was a very bad idea, she didn’t knew why but she was really worried about her girlfriend, anyways, today was the day and she was extremely happy.
From what she knew Akko was probably arriving at noon, so she started her day as usual, she ate her breakfast and she started working on a couple of papers about the new magical-centric hospital she was going to open next week…
*10:30 AM*
It was an hour and a half for Akko to arrive, and Diana knew it, the anxiety didn’t let her continue working so she decided to go change to a casual attire, Akko promised her they were going to have a date once she got back, the Cavendish knew it wouldn’t be an elaborated date because Akko was coming back from a long trip to the forest and the girl was probably tired.
The clothes she choose where a simple button-up white shirt with a blue vest above it, a pair of denim jeans and casual shoes, nothing too formal
*11:50 AM*
Just ten more minutes and Akko would be knocking the door calling for her saying that she was hungry or something like that
*12:15 PM*
Akko was just probably running late as usual
*1:00 PM*
What is one hour? Diana waited for weeks, she could handle a couple more hours
*8:00 PM*
“She is running late, there’s nothing to worry about”
Diana said to herself one more time
*10:00 PM*
After ten long hours Diana finally heard an insistent knock on the front doors
“It has to be her, Anna can you please receive Akko? I’ll be in the kitchens serving some snacks for her”
Diana asked to her maiden as she started walking to the kitchens
“As you please young lady” . . .
“Lady Cavendish, your presence is required at the entrance, someone is asking for you”
One of Diana’s butlers said to her as he entered the kitchen
“Isn't Akko the one that had just arrived?”
Diana asked with confusion
“I’m afraid the one requiring your presence isn’t miss Kagari”
He replied
“Then who is it?”
“They claim to be James McClain”
Diana was confused, James McClain was the leader of the crew Akko was going with to the forest, why was he in her house and not her girlfriend?
“Tell them I’ll be there shortly Carter”
“I’ll tell them young Lady”
The man said as he stepped out of the kitchen, leaving Diana alone with her thoughts . . .
“Diana! Thank the Nine you are here!”
A black man exclaimed with relief when he spotted the blonde girl
“James, it’s nice to see you too, before you say anything I need to know, where’s Atsuko?”
Diana greeted the guy with coldness
“That’s exactly why I am here, Akko is still in the forest”
James said with nervousness while he scratched the right side of his head
“W-what!? Explain yourself now!”
Diana demanded to the guy with brown eyes, also, until now Diana notice the way he was dressed, his shirt was ripped from the left side of his neck letting see a really ugly-looking scrape, his curly hair was a complete mess, and his jeans were burned to the upper part of his calf
“Wait, I think it would be better if we have this conversation inside, also those wounds need to be healed”
She said a little more calmed as she let James enter the manor . . .
“And you guys just leave her there?! All alone!”
Both the blonde and the brunette boy were in a living room talking about everything that happened in the forest a couple of days ago.
After Diana healed James wounds, he finally told her why her beloved girlfriend wasn’t in her house, he said that four days ago when they were exploring a new part of the forest they were attacked, he at first didn’t recognize the beast that attacked them because they escaped from the place as fast as they could.
————
“Is anybody else hearing that sound?”
A guy with blue hair asked to his crew after hearing something scratching a tree
“Don’t worry Arthur, it’s probably just a squirrel”
Someone said to him with no worries
“Yeah… just a squirr-“
The Arthur guy started saying but a scream interrupted him
“Everyone! Run!”
Akko, the witch that accompanied them, yelled as she started casting offensive and defensive spells…
————
James said that that was the only time Akko used any kind of defensive spells, he said that before the attack the trip went without any problems, then, he told Diana that today in the morning when they were going back to the entrance of the forest they again hear the mysterious scratching sound they hear the day of the attack
————
“Guys…”
Arthur said in a fearful whisper
“Shush Arthur, Akko, what do we do?”
A girl with green eyes asked as she shut up her partner
“I don’t think there is a safe escape route right now, unless we want to either go back to the forest or guide the beast to Wedinburgh”
Akko whispered back to the girl with nervousness
“Do you have any ideas James?”
The brunette asked after a couple of intense seconds passed
“I don’t know! You are the witch here!”
He whispered-yelled to her
“Whoa, thanks for th-“
“Roaaaaaar!”
Before Akko could end her sentence a petrifying roar interrupted her, it was so powerful that no one dared to move, and thanks to that they finally discovered what the beast was.
An imposing chimera was in front of them, his lion head was the one that roared, his goat one was pointing at them with its horns and the one from the dragon was looking at them with rage
“Hey there little kitty”
Akko finally said as she get out of her shock, she took out her wand with clumsiness while she was slowly approaching to the beast
“Hissss!”
Now it was the dragon head that made a sound
“Yeah, that’s completely understandable, of course I know what you are saying”
The crimson eyed girl was getting even closer to the chimera, wand now in her right hand
“Now we don't have the time to play kitty, maybe you would like to go back to your house? I’m just saying…”
“Rooooaaaar”
The lion head roar again as the goat head started hitting some trees with its horns, while the beast was doing that Akko took out some sort of note of her sweatshirt pocket
“We don’t have much time, James take this and give it to Diana, tell her I’ll be fine that I’ll be going home someday”
The beast once again turned its three heads to the explorers and when it was about to jump to them Akko screamed the first spell that came into her mind
“Blaecus!”
Akko’s wand glowed in a blinding shine as the spell hit its target, the beast screamed in rage as the dragon head released powerful flames to the forest floor
“And now is time for you to run guys! I’ll catch up with you later”
The witch said as she suit herself in a battling position
All of that happened at ten in the morning, he said, but they didn’t leave the forest until 8:00 pm waiting to Akko to come back, thing that obviously didn’t happen so they just left as fast as they could to alert any other witch they knew
————
“Yes, she is probably still in the forest, but don’t worry Diana she is a powerful witch, I’m sure she’ll be back, and if for some reason she takes to much time to return we could always go to look for her”
James answered to the young woman as he took the note out of his pants pocket
“Also, here is the note Akko told me to gave you, I don’t know what it says, so take it, it’s yours after all”
He handed the note to Diana
Dear Diana, if you are reading this then it means I’m not home yet, therefore it also means something happened here in the forest, probably some sort of problem with some kind of magical beast, if the one delivering this is James then it probably means there’s nothing to worry about, anyways, I promise you I’ll make it through the night, and you’ll never have to feel alone again, I’ll come back soon, see ya!
-Sincerely yours, Akko
Diana read the note slowly making sure she read it right.
Akko was still all alone in a unexplored forest full of all kind of beast, yeah it was totally fine, she is promising she is coming back soon, nothing to worry about at all, she is promising she’ll make through the night, she is sure that Diana would never have to feel alone again, Diana star is still shining she is just a little too far to spot it but she will come back
“Thank you James, I would offer you to stay the night because it is pretty late, but I can’t, sorry”
Diana said with no apology in her voice while she accompanied the man to the doors
“Yeah, I understand, anyways, I need to get home to tell my sister I’m back, I’ll tell you if I find out something about Akko, bye!”
“Bye!”
After he left Diana went to her backyard to stargaze a little, for some reason the night sky always got to calm her nerves but tonight it didn’t worked, everytime she spotted a star she thought about the eyes of her cute and clumsy girlfriend, about how she was all alone in the middle of nowhere probably looking for a way to come back home, but after some anxious and depressing moments Diana finally saw a constellation that did pacified her, it was the Big Dipper, it was the Shiny Rod, it was all Diana needed to see to know Akko was still safe and sound wherever she was
—————————
Three days had already passed and there was no sign of Akko, James told her the Monday morning that if Akko didn’t appear by Friday night they would be going back for her with a new crew full of witches and wizards, Diana was thankful for the gesture but it didn’t calmed her nerves at all, that’s why she was still awake in her room, waiting for someone that was probably injured in the middle of a dangerous forest.
It was two in the morning of the Wednesday and Diana was about to cast a sleeping spell on herself when she saw a green light moving on the forest, it wasn’t very bright and it was probably going to fade very soon, it was moving in the direction of the manor in slow motion, it was like if someone was trying to get out of the place in most stealthy way they could muster, she didn’t reacted until she spot the figure of the person that was approaching to her state
As soon as she saw that disheveled brunette hair she knew who was coming home, she got out of her room the fastest she could and she run to her garden, when she tried to cast a quick light spell she realized she left her wand in her room, but she didn’t cared at all, the light was coming closer and the features of the person were becoming clearer, a cute and tired Asian face, long and dirty brunette hair, and a pair of beautiful and shining red eyes was all Diana needed to start crying, the relief she was feeling was nearly overwhelming.
“Diana!”
She heard the person screamed with happiness
“Diana I’m home!”
She heard again, and she knew this wasn’t some sort of vivid dream, her star was finally home
“What took you so long?”
She asked with relief in her voice as she opened her arms for a very needed hug
“You know, the usual, I was playing with a Chimera and it’s cute babies”
Akko answered with a chuckle as she throw herself into Diana’s embrace
“It sounds tiring, do you want to go to sleep?”
“Yes, just give me a second”
Akko looked up to the night sky and she said
“Thank you for leading me home! I owe you a big one!”
She yelled to apparently no-one
“Who are you talking with?”
“The Rod, I’m sure he was taking care of me”
“Yeah, I’m also pretty sure he was”

—- china anne mcclain . disney . cis woman . she/her . ⟳ → well hello , welcome to the good place , WENDY DARLING . in your file , it says that you are TWENTY-ONE & on earth so many people said you were OBSTINATE & APPETENT . lucky for you , we have our own system around here , meaning that we are well aware that you are DUTIFUL & COURAGEOUS , so there is no need to worry . hey , has anyone ever told you that you give off a GLOSSY LIPS AND FRUITY PERFUME , INK STAINED HANDS & A TEAR-SOAKED PILLOW type of vibe ? anyways , we better hurry , we don't want to be late ! ( SAM. 25. THEY/THEM. EST. )
STATS PINTEREST
ok, so... i’ve been taking too long with my intros already, so i decided to chill a lil bit (i wrote so much unnecessary info first..... it was ridiculous tm) and write down the important things (aka answer the questions from the task on the main bc!!!! it’s what’s gonna help me develop my charas the most, soooo..... here’s my first intro!!!!!)
HOW DID THEY DIE?
( TW: DEATH + DEATH BY FALL ) wendy was twenty-one years old and had just become a governess for a very rich family when she died. ironically enough, she fell off a window ledge. one of the kids she had been in charge of had managed to climb onto the roof from his room, and whilst trying to get him back in, wendy’s dress got caught in a nail by the window, and the shock of it slightly holding her back when she tried to go back inside the window caused her to fall to her death.
WHAT IS THEIR WORSE MEMORY?
her first few days at the finishing school she started boarding at around the age of seventeen. she got paired with a no-nonsense roommates who ended up telling the ones in charge that at night, wendy spent her time writing “fanciful” stories and reading “useless” novels, which got wendy into some trouble, as she was meant to be “growing up”. it was at that moment that the regret that came with leaving neverland finally sunk in. wendy realized growing up may not have been worth it, and that realization is the worse memory she has.
WHAT WAS THEIR BEST MEMORY?
her best memory was definitely the night when she and her brothers flew to neverland with peter pan. the flying, being around peter, the promise of never having to grow up... there truly is no better memory to wendy.
WHAT DO THEY HOLD DEAR TO THEIR HEART?
a little blue ribbon she used to wear in her hair when she was younger. it’s one of the last remnants she has from her childhood.
WHAT IS THEIR IDEAL HOME?
wendy’s ideal home would be a one-floor, but decently-sized, house with tons of windows, beautiful moldings, and bookshelves on almost every wall. a fireplace in the living room would be perfect as well, and a window reading nook would obviously be a necessity. i highkey like the idea of her getting all of that but with no books in her house, because that’s... she would obviously not want to complain, but would feel like something so important is missing.
WHO ARE THEY MOST EXCITED / FEARED TO SEE ?
excited: her brothers, although at the same time, she hopes they’ll be much older when she gets to see them again, as she wishes for them to have long, lovely and fulfilled lives.
fearful: peter pan, tinker bell and captain hook, definitely. peter, because she has regretted leaving neverland for a long time now, and feels guilty for it as well. tink, because she knows the other definitely won’t be happy to see her again. and hook, because well... hook isn’t a person she exactly has a positive relationship with!
LASTLY , DO THEY BELIEVE THEY DESERVE TO BE HERE ?
she does, but she thinks that the reason why she’s here is because she did so little that she didn’t have the chance to really do anything bad, and that doesn’t exactly make her feel great about herself.
longer biography/character development thingie coming soon !

【Chapter One: The Unravelling of the Multiverse】
♕♕♕♕
Tokohama City, Ichi-San-Ken.
After a late night of partying, a group of teenagers walked through the spectacular light show that was Ichi-San-Ken street. Pulsing neon lights glimmered overhead like starbursts as the group of twenty teens walked along the smooth concreted path towards the end of the road where a flight of two-thousand something steps were seen. Tokohama on a Friday night was lively. Draco-humans, werewolves, vampires, fae and all the rest of the creatures who lived peacefully in the ever-expanding metropolis were all having a good time with one another. Laughter and techno music filled the night air as fae danced around the streets, their iridescent ribbons gleaming in the neon light. A couple of the teens paused to watch the female faeries dance, entranced by their movements. It was around this time when one of the teens—a girl by the name of Megan Castillo—suddenly froze in shock. Electricity shuddered through her like lightning bolts.
She knew what this meant.
And it meant something bad.
Fumbling for her smartphone, she managed (by some godforsaken miracle) not to drop the phone. Considering how utterly clumsy she was, this was a record of how many days she had not been clumsy and/or stupid. Taking several deep breaths to try and keep her breathing even, she unlocked the phone, went to contacts and called her sister, Camille. Pressing her phone to her left ear, she waited with bated breath, assuming that her elder sister would be unavailable. She prayed that her sister would be unavailable because that meant that everything was fine.
Unfortunately, her sister answered on the first ring.
“You felt it, didn’t you?” was the greeting that she got from her older sister.
“Yes... What the hell does that mean?!” Megan demanded as she began to hurry to the steps without saying goodbye to her friends.
“It means that we’ll be having visitors for an indefinite amount of time, little sister. And some of them might be the characters that you love.” Camille said with a mysterious tone in her sultry voice. At the word ‘characters’, Megan’s heart rate sped up as she began climbing the stairs, her subconscious whispering the names of the boys that she loved with all her heart. Prompto Argentum, Killua Zoldyck, Toshiro Hitsugaya, Ciel Phantomhive, Akira Kurusu, Damian Wayne, Kurt Wagner, Scarlet Grimm, Peter Pan, Nico di Angelo, Takumi Aldini, Izaya Orihara, Ieyasu Tokogawa, Lance McClain, Kenny McCormick, Michelangelo Hamato, Kanato Sakamaki, Katsuki Bakugo, James Carstairs, Karma Akabane, Senri Ichinose, Jacob Black, Asriel Dreemurr, Draco Malfoy, Dorian Havilliard, Zack Martin, Lanny Parker, Jughead Jones, Kukai Souma, Jake Portman, Ender Wiggin, Artemis Fowl, Rafal... She recited, their faces flashing before her eyes as she ascended further and further upwards.
The stairs led to the main headquarters of the Organisation, a group dedicated to patrolling and maintaining the balance of the multiverse. Its heads, Angelo and Marie Castillo, had the ability to traverse through the multiverse at any given moment in time. Because of DNA, their children also had this rather unique ability. Which meant that Megan was one of their children. Ever since the age of twelve, she, along with her other siblings, had visited the multiverse for training and to ‘observe’ the characters they had grown to love. Of course, this led to her siblings—Dante and Camille—to rebel against the Dimension Traveller’s Guidebook because they were simply tired of merely ‘observing’ the characters and wanted to interact with them.
Of course, this choice of action had led to initial discord between her siblings and her parents. Shouting matches would occur in between routine breaks from traversing the multiverse and its various locales. Her brother, Dante, would end up being holed up in the training room, shredding the target (either a punching bag or a dummy) into big rubber chunks. This happened around two years before Megan had turned twelve. Of course, now that she was a nineteen-year-old, things were pretty different now. Instead of observing the characters like they used to, they were given a choice of either observing the world or be assigned to a character of their choice thanks to Dante and Camille.
Which was good, if you considered being assigned to a minor character ‘your choice’. Of course, these complaints were normal for the uninitiated dimension travellers who wanted nothing more than to hang out with their favourite characters but were ultimately banned from seeing the main characters because of clearance issues from the older generation. This led to Dante and her father arguing again—with Dante eventually agreeing that no matter how much the uninitiated protested, they could not risk having people (particularly teenage girls) disappearing into the multiverse without proper training. Having proper training meant that they knew which portal to choose to get back home, how to handle yourself in case of attacks, what to eat, how to communicate diplomatically, et cetera, et cetera. Frankly, Megan dreaded other people coming into the multiverse because they didn’t care about the actual multiverse and what they were doing.
No.
All they cared about was getting the character they loved to notice them! They didn’t care about the damned storyline and how it would affect everyone else. This led to the teenage girl transforming into a ‘problem’, or for a lack of a better term a Mary Sue.
Shuddering at the memory, Megan forced herself back to reality and saw that she was at the top of the stairs, having made it to her destination. In front of her was a ten-storey building in the shape of a cube. The building was white and the entrance was a set of automatic glass doors. The concrete had changed into the cobbled pavement. Sighing softly, Megan stepped up the last step and made her way through to the entrance, wishing that she didn’t have to go to this meeting. The meeting was to determine who would take who in and look after them.

Note
Acxa is not used to the cold, she hates it, but she didn't know Earth could be so cold so she is not prepared for it at all. When Keith touches her he notices that she is freezing and covers her with a hat, gloves, scarf and a million jackets cause he doesn't want his crush getting sick. Acxa wanted to protest that she could handle it (LIES) but no one had cared so much about her in such a long time that she accepted her fate as a galra burrito. Also her crush is touching her and she is 🙃💜
So, like, I just...I guess this was some sort of an experiment for me? Kacxa really hasn’t had much romantic feelings (I still love the ship to pieces tho) so I tried? And it came out pretty long? Whoops? Enjoy? Read under the cut?
When Acxa arrived on Earth, she had no idea just what she was getting into. It was primitive compared to many planets she’s visited, but, when finding of how old the planet was, she realized that Earth will be more advanced than anything she’s ever seen.
That’s the people of Earth, the planet itself is beautiful. Keith and the Paladins had shown her around in their free time, taking her to some of the most beautiful places she has ever seen and building up their bond from acquaintances to friends. But a wacky thing about Earth is that it has a strange climate.
In the daytime, the temperatures are fairly warm in the desert; it isn’t as hot as some other planets she’s visited.
In the nighttime, however, the desert drops to extreme cold weather. Some of the coldest she’s been in.
This, she learned on the ride to the Kogane residence for the Holidays. The Paladins all went to their families, Allura, Coran, and Romelle tagged along with the McClains for the holidays, for the seasonal celebrations for the first time since their return.
Since she had no family, the Paladins actually made plans to celebrate the holidays together the following day to pass time with her and as friends. Krolia, however, stepped in and invited Acxa to their shack for Christmas, Keith almost immediately agreeing to the idea.
He totally got teased for it by Pidge later on.
Acxa sped through the desert sand on the dirt bike the Garrison lent her and she sped her way to the coordinates Krolia gave her. The sunsets in the desert were beautiful, some of the most beautiful she’s ever seen on a planet. Sure, it was nothing compared to the sunsets multiple suns at the same time, but it was beautiful nonetheless.
Her hair swooshed behind her as she sped faster and faster and Acxa felt the air cool exponentially as the sun descended under the horizon. She shivered and attempted to pull at the cloth at her neck to cover more skin. It didn’t work, but she didn’t mind it that much and she shrugged it off.
After a while, Acxa finally saw the shack in the far distance and she slowed the bike, swinging her feet off the seat as she approached the steps. She leaned it against the porch’s banister and she shivered when a chilly breeze nipped at her nose.
She let out a shaking breath and she gasped when a puff of white flowed out of her mouth, her eyes widened and she cupped her mouth and whispered to herself, “What the quiznak?”
Acxa then felt a warmth from her breath and she sighed, starting to blow into her hands, the warm breath ricocheting back onto her face.
She took the two steps to the house’s porch, her shivering getting more intense
with each second she spent outside. The warm glow of the house’s light coaxed her to walk faster and she mustered up the courage to knock. She lifted her hand to knock on the door at the same time as the door opened. Her hand fell back to her side and her eyes widened when she stood face-to-face with Keith.
His lips curled up in a small smile and he greeted, “Umm. Hi.”
Acxa smiled and returned the greeting, “Hi.”
They just stood there awkwardly, both adults avoiding each other’s eyes trying to hide their blush, before they both heard pounding footsteps approaching them. Krolia stood behind Keith, her entire form bundled in multiple jackets, scarves, and sweaters.
They both looked over Keith’s shoulder to look at Krolia and the older Galra smiled, “Acxa! You made it just in time! Come, I’m making something called “hot chocolate”.”
Keith blinked and his eyes jumped from between Krolia and Acxa, a horrified look on his face and…blush? No, that must be from the cold. Keith doesn’t blush. Heck, he rarely smiles outside of Team Voltron.
Acxa smiled and stepped into the threshold when Krolia pulled herself and Keith away from the door. She sighed in relief that it was slightly warmer in the house than it was outside, but her breath was still iced and she was still puffing.
Krolia went ahead and headed back into the kitchen to let the young adults talk. Keith stuffed his hands in his pocket and gestured to the couch, “Uh, sit down.”
Acxa slowly sat down, surprised to find the seat much more luxurious than anything she has ever sat on before and she sunk into the couch’s soft, cold cushions.
Keith looked down at the shivering girl and he immediately shrugged off his jacket and offered it to her. Acxa looked up confused and Keith elaborated, “Take it. I guess mom forgot to tell you how cold it gets down here.”
Acxa took it hesitantly, her claws brushing Keith’s knuckles, and she shrugged it on. Keith left her to put it on, Acxa fighting off a deep sigh when the warm fabric immediately warmed her up. She crossed her arms and dug her head deep into the high collar, a faint masculine smell filling her nostrils with its soft scent.
Keith then came tumbling back inside wearing a new jacket and carrying three other articles of clothing in his hand. Acxa looked up owlishly and Keith ordered, “Stand up.”
Acxa followed the orders obediently, although she didn’t know how he’s gained so much power over her, and stood. Keith then proceeded to lead her arm into another jacket, his warm hand holding hers sparking more heat in her body than both jackets combined.
“Wh-what are you doing?” she stuttered.
“You’re cold. Galrans are more sensitive to cold than humans are. You need these,” he explained.
“I can put on a jacket myself,” Acxa argued.
Keith chuckled, “I know. I still want to.”
Acxa tried to look at his eyes, but he hung his head low and his bangs partially covered his violet eyes. His raven hair started brushing her nose as he took a step closer to put another jacket on her. Now, his nose was just a hair’s breath away from touching her own and their hot breaths are mingling together, the only sound coming from their breathing.
Then, when Keith tried to put her right hand in its sleeve, he couldn’t get it around the two other jackets. Keith looked up sheepishly and smiled nervously, “Uh, could you, twirl around?”
Acxa twirled around and she felt Keith slide her arm up into the sleeve. However, when she turned back to face him, she tripped on the rug under the couch and she clashed into Keith, his hands immediately placing themselves on her waist to steady her. Her head landed on his chest and she immediately balanced herself.
Yet, she still doesn’t know why she’s still holding on to him.
“I’m sorry,” she whispered almost inaudibly.
“It’s fine,” Keith responded just as quietly.
“There’s a mistletoe above your heads,” Krolia added loudly, making both adults jump, though still not letting go of their embrace.
Both looked up with wide eyes and, sure enough, there was a mistletoe plant hanging from the ceiling from a red ribbon. Acxa went red in the face once she recognized the plant from Lance’s jokes in the Garrison.
From her understanding after Lance explained succeeding to catch Allura under the mistletoe when one is caught under the mistletoe, they need to kiss the person
they’re with or they get fed to the klanmürl. Or something like that.
She felt the blood rush to her face and her eyes widened. Before she could look at Keith’s eyes, she took interest to the floor and glued her gaze onto the very interesting rug.
Keith, however, had none of that.
He took her chin between her thumb and middle finger and lifted her face to look up at him.
Her eyes looked up into his purple eyes: his first feature she was intrigued by. They were kind. They were intense. They were passionate. They were caring. They were powerful. They were wise. They were the windows of his soul. And right now, she’s scared to identify the look he’s giving her now; it makes her feel warm, makes her feel safe. It’s doing something to her, she doesn’t know what. All she knows is that she likes it.
“I’m just…going to give you two some privacy,” Krolia added, immediately dashing out of the room after she sees the tension between the two.
They don’t even react to the interruption; their gazes are glued to the other’s eyes.
Her eyes are like magnets, Keith decided; they lure him to her. Those eyes were hidden from him the first time they met, hidden by a mask meant to hide her from him. Those eyes were angry with him the second time they met, both of them held at a standstill in their first encounter as enemies.
Those eyes were glaring at him the third time they met, but it was right after she saved him from an attacking Galra. Those eyes were attacking him the fourth time they met, him having returned from the abyss and her fighting on the opposite side again.
The fifth time, though, was the first time he truly thought about her eyes. The fifth time, they fought on the same side for the first time. The fifth time, they connected in a way he never has with anyone before.
After that, he couldn’t keep track of the times he’s been mesmerized by her eyes, heck, he couldn’t count the times he’s been mesmerized by her period.
And now really shouldn’t be the time to do an introspection of their relationship. Not when she is in his arms and her breath hitting his neck. Not when she’s looking like that while looking at him like that.
“We don’t have to-,“ Acxa swallowed her words down when Keith pushed his lips
on hers. The two of them kissed each other ravenously, eating each other up and pulled themselves closer than they had ever imagined.
Keith’s hands gripped onto Acxa’s top-layered jacket and pulled her flush against him, the jacket balled up into his fist as he feverishly moved his mouth against hers.
Acxa moved her hands to Keith’s jaw, her fingertips gently brushing the skin right under his ears, smiling when Keith kissed harder with each brush of her fingers in that area. When Keith would pull away for air, Acxa barely gave him breathing time before smashing her lips on his again and sliding her tongue into his mouth. That roused out a noise out of him that she just found more delicious
After some…tongue maneuvers…the two ceded and kissed themselves out of their high. Their once-long kisses shortened to short, cute pecks on the lips, nose, neck, and forehead until the two finally calmed down enough to be able to form words in their head.
Acxa smiled up at Keith and he returned one equally warm and the two stood in a comfortable embrace before breaking out in hysteric laughter.
“That was…” Acxa began, her giggles dying down.
“Unexpected…” Keith finished, wiping a tear from his eyes.
“…Late seemed more appropriate for my situation,” Acxa corrected.
“Well, it’s only been a few months for me,” Keith justified.
“Three years, Keith. I’ve been waiting for you for three years,” Acxa teased.
“You did not wait for me that long,” Keith argued, the two adopting an unusual teasing tone.
“I did too. I don’t just let anyone escape from my clutches. Nor do I save just anyone from losing in a fight,” Acxa smiled, her eyes wrapping around Keith’s neck again.
“Really?”
“Yes. They have to have the flippity hair,” to emphasize her point, Acxa brushed her fingertips on his forehead and moving his bangs aside.
Keith smirked, “Shut up. You fell for this flippity hair.”
He didn’t give her time to respond before he started kissing her again.
“You see that Tex?” Krolia asked the air, a smile playing on her face as her son exchanged kisses with the sweet girl in the living room.
She didn’t wait for a response. She wasn’t expecting one. He was long-gone before she could do anything, but she still felt him there with her.
“We made that.”
Outside, the snowflakes dancing in the night sky danced faster, hitting the wind chimes out their door.
Krolia smiled. “Merry Christmas, Tex.”

You Clean Up Nice
Money can’t buy you love
Allura looked at the body on the bed with disdain, wondering what she did in her life to deserve this. To deserve him. The money was great, but when she took the job she thought she was going to be assistant to fierce business woman and CEO Krolia Kogane, not sometimes assistant to Krolia Kogane and all the time assistant to her rich spoiled playboy son Keith Kogane. And “assistant” is really pushing it because honestly she felt more like a babysitter.
“Mr. Kogane please get up, you have brunch with your mother at 11” she requested while looking at his schedule from the tablet in her hands.
The body, faced down on the bed, didn’t move. She couldn’t be entirely sure he was even breathing and frankly she sort of secretly wished he wasn’t.
“Mr. Kogane” she repeated.
Crickets.
“Keith” she said sternly one final time.
Nothing.
She rolled her eyes and disappeared out of the room, returning with said tablet and a pitcher of ice cold water. She gave him one final chance before dumping the contents onto his bare back. His screams could be heard down the hallway as he flailed and rolled and jolted up in bed.
“WHAT THE FUCK!” he screeched, staring at her through dripping wet hair.
“Good you’re awake. Please get up, you have brunch with your mother at 11” Allura said cheerily with a petty smile.
“I ought to fire you” he hissed.
“You don’t have the authority Mr. Kogane.”
Keith bit his lip bitterly. She was right. After blowing through several  assistants in a very short period of time, the last one running out the front door in tears, his mother decided to take the reins and choose someone herself to help whip him into shape. There was obviously resistance but for the first time since hiring her, Keith fulfilled his commitments, got to meetings and work on time and Allura managed to keep him out of the tabloids for a good month despite his debauchery. Krolia was thrilled. Allura wasn’t going anywhere.
“Perhaps if you’re feeling cold a nice hot shower will warm you up. I’ll lay out your clothes.” She went to his closet.
“I can pick out my own clothes” he grumbled.
He rolled out of bed and stomped to the bathroom, snatching her by the wrist on the way and dragging her with him. She let out a yelp.
“What else do I have to do today?” he asked moments later from the shower.
Allura sat on the counter by the window trying to keep the screen of her tablet from fogging up while simultaneously trying to avoid looking at Keith’s body through the frosted glass. He was an annoying little shit but fit as hell.
“After brunch, you have a ribbon cutting to attend for the new Olkari Research Center at two, a telephone conference with Mr. Kolivan at 4:30 and then the Galra Charity Gala at eight.”
“Excellent. I’ll have time for cocktails with Lance at five.”
He turned off the water and grabbed the towel hanging over the shower door. After drying himself, he stepped out wrapping the towel around his waist and joining her at the bathroom counter.
“Perhaps you could skip the play date with Mr. McClain today. You know how you two get when you’re together.”
“It’s just a drink or two before dinner.” He winked at her before staring into the mirror to work some mousse into his hair and moisturize his face.
“It’s never just a drink or two. May I remind you of the time-” She was suddenly silenced with Keith’s finger to her lips.
“You don’t need to remind me. I’ll be a good boy today. Promise.” He let his finger slide down her lip, staring at her mouth before clearing his throat and going back to his primping. “Is my outfit ready for tonight?”
“Uh y-yes. I’ll be p-picking it up from the dry cleaners while you’re at the ribbon cutting” she stammered, face flushed. “Also remember that we’ll need to make time to pick up Ms. Arus before heading to the gala since the event is red carpet.”
“Ms. Arus?”
“Your date. Romelle Arus” she reminded him as she scrolled on the tablet.
“Oh yeah, about that, she’s not my date anymore.”
“What?”
“It didn’t work out” he says flatly as he continued to fiddle with his hair.
Her eye twitched.
“What did you do?”
He walked out of the room and returned handing her his phone. She pulled up the text conversation and read, already feeling the veins in her temples pulsing.
[9:27 PM] Why am I seeing pictures of you and Acxa from last night? WHAT ABOUT US?
[9:45 PM] I’m not stupid I know you’re ignoring my texts!
[10:00 PM] I DESERVE AN EXPLANATION!!!
[10:05 PM] YOU KNOW WHAT? NEVER MIND. FUCK YOU YOU CAN TAKE THAT SKANK TO THE GALA INSTEAD!!!!!
Allura lowered the phone and glared at Keith who avoided her menacing gaze.
“I’m going to kill you” she growled.
“It’s fine, calm down. I’ll just take someone else. I’ve got options.” He snatched the phone back and went through his contacts.
Half of the girls where bridges that had long since been burned while the other were the kind of girls you didn’t bring to important black tie events with photographers.
“Hmm.” He pursed his lips. “Wait…”
Keith looked at Allura, stared her up and down, his head tilted, then a smile she knew she shouldn’t trust spread across his face.
“No.” She shook her head.
“Allura.”
“No.”
“I have to show up with someone. You know how these things work.”
“No!”
30 MINUTES LATER…
“Frankly I think it’s a lovely idea. She can keep an eye on you and she’s already superior in quality to most of the problematic trollops you date.” Krolia shrugged while sipping from her mimosa filled flute.
Allura cursed under her breath as she sat next to Keith, both of them sitting across from Krolia. Keith smirked at her triumphantly as he drank his screwdriver.
“I agree.” Keith nodded.
“You’ll need a dress. Go to Naxzela, use the company card.”
“Yes Mrs. Kogane.” Allura nodded, sighing in defeat.
After brunch Keith and Allura went their separate ways. He attended the ribbon cutting which he found quite boring. He had his scheduled telephone conference in the town car while waiting in a drive-thru. He met Lance for drinks and strangely enough, kept it at two drinks before heading home to get ready.
When he entered his bedroom his tux was laid out on his bed with freshly shined shoes on the floor. He decided to shower again and got dressed, skipping the bowtie. He always felt like he was choking whenever he wore one and instead unbuttoned his shirt slightly. Normally he took his sweet time getting ready so that he could show up ridiculously late (and leave ridiculously early to wherever the after party was at) but this time around he seemed extra anxious to go check on his date.
He strode down the hallway to the room at the end and knocked on the door.
“Allura?”
“Take someone else.” Her voice sounded from the other side of the door.
“What?”
“I’m not going I’ve changed my mind.”
“You can’t change your mind open the door.”
“I think I’m feeling sick.”
She gave a fake exaggerated cough.
“Open the door” he said in a more demanding tone.
After a bit of a pause she threw it open and Keith’s heart stopped. Allura was a pretty woman, he could admit that, but at that exact moment she was a man killer and Keith was her first victim whether she intended it or not. He never expected her to know red was his favorite color and yet he took it as a personal assault that she chose a blood red low cut mermaid style floor length dress with thin straps that hugged every blessed inch of her body. Her hair was pulled into a low side ponytail with loosely curled strands framing her face. Once he’s studied her from the ground up his gaze landed on her red full lips.
“I look like an idiot.”
That was not the word he’d use. In fact there were a million other words that were better suited, some appropriate, some not so much.
“You look elegant and beautiful” he bluntly replied with a seriousness in his face she didn’t often see.
Allura’s whole body flinched before she nervously brought her hands together and fiddled with the sparkly bracelet on her wrist.
“Thank you…”
“Don’t be nervous. These things aren’t as fancy as they seem. Once you do the silly red carpet part and take some photos it’s all frou frou appetizers, cocktails and pretending to be interested in dull conversations.” He smiled.
She nodded and turned to grab matching red clutch off the bed before joining him and taking his offered arm.
“You look handsome” she muttered.
“Hmm?”
“You heard me.”
Keith smirked. He couldn’t wait to show up to the gala with her on his arm. People were going to talk and he couldn’t wait.
“You know if this works out tonight I should just have you be my date to all these things.”
She looked up at him and squeezed his bicep with a playful grin.
“You don’t pay me enough.”

Sunset + Pudding + Ribbon
@kiilea <3
Keith watches the dancefloor in silence from his seat on the table as he shoves another full spoon of pudding into his mouth. He smiles fondly as Veronica twirls in the middle of the room, white wedding dress following her every move and her newly wed husband being close behind as they dance surrounded by their friends and family.
Room filled of laughter and excitement, Keith now knows the power the McClain family has to light up anything. Keith knew that his boyfriend’s personality had to be something genetic.
Keith goes for his fifth spoon since they served dessert, mind already setting itself into stealing Lance’s portion after he finishes his own but he blinks in surprise when his eyes get trapped behind a thin soft cloth, two hands holding each edge of the ribbon as they rest against Keith’s head.
“Um, hello?” Keith says confused, voice at ease at the turn of events and his lips twitch when Lance’s breath hits the side of his neck.
“Hi, baby.” Lance whispers near Keith’s ear, kissing his temple right after. “Watcha doing?”
“Pudding?” Keith says as he shrugs his shoulders and slightly raises the small cup of pudding in his hands as proof.
“Ah, what an adventure.”
“You bet, I think it has nuts on it.” Keith hums, “It’s wild.”
“I’d bet.” Lance says, “Wanna have another adventure?”
“Does it involve pudding?”
“Babe.”
“Alright, alright.” Keith laughs, finally leaving the the cup on the table, “Is the ribbon on my eyes necessary, though?”
“Maaaybe.” Lance sing-songs, “It’s a surprise.”
“More pudding?”
“Imma drown you on the ocean, Keith.”
“Pff.” Keith snorts, raising his hands in surrender, “Alright, alright. Lead the way, love.”
“With pleasure.”
Feet against warm sand and hands covered by two familiar sweaty ones, Keith feels himself smile as he hears the way Lance stops on his tracks and shifts in front of him.
“We here?” Keith asks quietly, smile playful as he turns his head to the sides, enjoying the sound of the ocean on his right and the faint music from the wedding reception on his left. “Lance?”
“Take off the blindfold.” Lance says softly. With a slightly confused frown, Keith does as told and the sunset in the sky above them can’t compare to the beauty and breathtaking sight of Lance on one knee in front of him, a soft loving smile in his lips.
The question barely out of Lance’s mouth before Keith’s shouting his answer and soon enough, only their laughter echoes around the beach from the edge of the ocean.

How Much I Love Him
So with the help of some amazing people from a bi discord (link can be found on Edelwary’s Tumblr), we came up with the idea of a Klance wedding and I decided to write it out. it was too cute to not write. Anyway, I hope you enjoy.
It was during one of their calm periods that Lance and Keith first got married. Nothing too big, just their friends. They wanted to make sure that if anything went wrong, they had each other, forever.
It was small. Hunk had made a small cake (it took Keith hours of promising to let Hunk bake them the biggest cake when they got back to Earth), Pidge was able to mess with the lights in the lounge to dim them, and Coran and Allura busied themselves with setting everything up – flowers they’d picked up at the last planet they’d visited, satin covering an arch (because “Keith, please let me at least have this”) from the space mall, and the rings that Allura’s parents had worn.
Keith waited nervously under the arch, looking between the doorway and Shiro, who was going to officiate the wedding. His hands were shaking, and he kept tugging at the hem of his shirt. Shiro put a hand on his shoulder and Keith turned to look at him.
“It’s alright Keith. You know Lance loves you. Don’t be so nervous,” he said with a smile.
“What if I mess up the vows? Shiro, what if I mess up the vows?” Keith questioned, his voice hitching at the end. Shiro just smiled again, fixing Keith’s messy hair.
“Lance will love you regardless of what you say. Just like you’ll love him regardless of what he says,” Shiro said. “Now come on, it’s almost time.” Keith turned to look at the doorway again, and it slid open slowly.
Lance walked towards Keith, a huge smile plastered on his face. The flowers he was holding gave off a light purple glow, and Keith couldn’t look away at how the glow made Lance look even more handsome, even in his normal clothes. Lance stopped and turned to face Keith, who smiled softly at him. Shiro said everything he needed, giving his blessing for the two, before asking Keith to give his vows.
“I vow to protect you from all harm. To love you with every fiber of my being. And I vow to never leave you,” Keith said, feeling tears prick the corners of his eyes. He looked up and saw Lance’s eyes glistening with tears that had yet to fall.
“I vow to always stay by your side, through all dangers. To always have your back, even in the most dangerous situations. And I vow to always be there for you, even if it’s just a shoulder to cry on,” Lance said, his tears falling down his face. Keith let his fall as he placed the ring on Lance’s hand, and Lance did the same. They could hear Hunk and Coran crying in the background, and even Shiro had tears in his eyes. With everything said, he pronounced them married, and they shared the sweetest, most tender kiss they’d had.
As they broke apart, they let their foreheads rest against each other, just gazing into each other eyes. They whispered “I love you” to each other before pulling apart. They entwined their fingers together, and Lance pulled one of the flowers out of the bouquet, placing it behind Keith’s ear. “Purple, like us,” Lance said with a smile. Keith smiled back, giving his hand a gentle squeeze.
The rest of the night was spent eating cake (“Oh my god Hunk, this is amazing!!” was the first thing Lance had said) and listening to music. Hunk and Pidge forced Lance and Keith to dance (“It’s tradition that the married couple dance!”) and they laughed, swaying gently in each other’s arms. As the night drew on, everyone bid each other goodnight, and Lance and Keith retreated to Keith’s room, curling up in each other’s arms as they fell asleep.
Varadero beach was full of white, blue, red, and purple as the flowers and ribbons fluttered in the breeze. The McClain’s had put together the biggest wedding any of them had seen. People milled about – Lance’s family, the Voltron crew, even the Blade of Mamora members. It was something that none of them had dreamed they’d see.
Lance passed about his living room, his mom following him, fixing his bowtie, his corsage, anything. Lance looked at the clock. Fifteen minutes until he was supposed to be at the altar. He checked his pocket for the umpteenth time, making sure the ring was there. Despite already being married, Lance had insisted they exchange rings. “For his family” he’s said, knowing his mom would want it. The time came to leave for the altar, and Lance and his mom walked out of the house and down the beach. Everyone turned and saw Lance coming and took their seats.
A small string quartet started playing as Lance waited for Keith. He looked down when Keith was going to walk, and his heart skipped a beat when he saw him. Keith, dressed in a brilliant white suit, holding a bouquet of blue and red flowers. Krolia was there, walking him down the aisle, and she had tears in her eyes at seeing the love Lance had for her son. Letting Keith finish his walk, she moved to sit next to Lance’s mom, who already had tears falling.
The officiant started the ceremony, and everything went as smoothly as could be. They chose not to give vows this time, already knowing that they would do anything to protect the other. The rings were exchanged, this time having come from Lance’s grandparents. There were simple gold bands, but they didn’t need flashy rings. They were pronounced husbands and Lance wrapped his arms around Keith’s waist, pulling him close. Keith smiled and wrapped his arms around Lance’s neck, and Lance leaned down, kissing Keith. They laughed at the cheers they got and moved apart, smiling at each other.
Both Krolia and Lance’s mom were the first ones to walk up to them, engulfing them in a massive hug. After them came the rest of Lance’s family and the Blade. So many people came up to them that they didn’t even realize when the cake had come out until Hunk was standing there with Pidge, pushing a four tier white wedding cake. The toppers were lions, and they all laughed. Keith took hold of the knife and Lance placed his hand over Keith’s, and together they cut the cake. Of course, Lance smashed some of it in Keith’s face, but he didn’t retreat without getting cake of his own smashed in his face. Everyone took a slice and mingled with each other, while the quartet continued to play softly in the background.
As the sunset, the everyone dispersed, the Blade heading back to the base they’d established on Earth, Lance’s family heading back to his house, and the Voltron crew headed back to the Garrison (they were letting them stay there indefinitely, seeing as they had saved Earth). Keith and Lance stayed on the beach, watching the sunset. Keith was curled under Lance’s arm and had his arms wrapped around his waist.
“This really beats the space wedding we had,” Lance said, a smile spreading across his face.
“I don’t know, I think I liked that one more,” Keith responded, earning a soft laugh from Lance.
“You always like the simpler things,” Lance said, placing a soft kiss on the top of Keith’s head. Keith just smiled and leaned up, kissing Lance’s cheek. They sat there, enjoying each other’s company, watching the sun set and moon rise before heading back to Lance’s house.
They stood in their hotel room, wrapped in each other’s arms, and danced to the sound of the waves. They didn’t talk, didn’t make a sound, and yet they knew how much they loved the other, knowing that they were finally, finally, safe. Their hands were intertwined and their bodies leaned against each other.
Lance looked down at Keith and Keith looked up back at him. The sun was setting and the room was flooded with a soft orange light. Lance could see the sunset reflected in Keith’s eyes, and Keith could see Lance’s eyes turning a light shade of purple from the light. The light caused Lance’s freckles to almost glow, and he counted them, as though they were constellations in the night sky. Even after he was done counting them, he looked up at Lance, because when he did, the universe came into focus.
There were whispers of “I love you”, “you’re amazing”, and “we’re married” exchanged between the two, and Keith rested his head on Lance’s chest, closing his eyes. Lance started humming a song from his childhood, and Keith sighed happily, a rare soft smile spreading across his face. He could feel Lance humming and could feel his heart beat, Keith’s own heart matching up with Lance’s. He could feel the vibration of Lance’s vocal chords as he hummed, soft and steady against his neck.
Lance pressed soft kisses against Keith’s locks, thinking about the time he had one “despised” his mullet (he never had, he’d always loved it). In the soft light of the sunset, they thought about their days in the garrison, in awe of how much had changed and how much they had grown to love each other. They thought back to a time where they barely talked, let alone recognized each other, up til now, how they’ve grown up and matured and learned to love each other for all their worth.
Keith thought about all they’d been through. All the times they had almost died protecting what mattered most. He hadn’t noticed the tears falling slowly down his face until Lance had quietly whispered, “Hey, you alright?”
Keith held onto Lance tightly, because damn, this Cuban boy was the love of his life, and damn anyone who would try to take him away. His fingers grasped tightly around the Lance’s shirt, never wanting to let him go. They were going to be okay. That’s all they were thinking. Everything would be okay. Everything is okay. Everything is alright. It will always be alright. Because they were together.
Hope, that sneaky thing they had been denying themselves all this time, filled their chests. For the first time in years, they allowed themselves to think of the future. They thought about their little house near the beach, the nights they would share on their couch, curled up watching movies. They thought about the loud laughter on sunny Sunday afternoons when the whole McClain family would get together. For the first time in years, this wasn’t the calm before the storm. It was just calm. It was peace. Peace that settled in you and stayed forever, shifting and changing, but always serene and beautiful.
Ocean waves that rise up, crash down, and fizzle out to mix back into the deep blue ocean. They lapse and cycle and spray. They pull you in, singing their eternal refrain. They pull you in and never let go. Just like you, Keith thought fondly. He was at the bottom of the ocean, drowning in love, drowning in all the happiness he never thought he’d have. He’s at the bottom of the ocean, under the rise and fall of the tides, where the calm surrounded him like a blanket. He never wanted to come back up to the surface or air.
Lance gently pulled Keith to bed, long after the sun had set. They never once let go of each other. They slept curled up into each other, because damnit, they love each other so damn much. Lance slowly let out a breath and brought their entwined hands up, admiring the gold back that decorated his beloved’s hand. He kissed it slowly, trying to convey with that one simple gesture all the love he had for this man, for Keith. But he knew that even if he kissed it a thousand time, it would never be enough. Infinity, Lance thought, wouldn’t be enough to describe how much I love him. He would know, seeing as he had spent the last four years fighting an endless war in the vast nothingness of space. Space is infinite, and yet, it felt so small compared to the warm feelings he got every morning when he woke up, feeling strong arms squeezing his waist. But for now, this love they both had, this was infinite.
