As best man and maid of honor, Keith and Allura’s presence at Shiro and Adam’s wedding is kinda mandatory. The bad news: recent storms have made Allura getting to the church on time via plane a no go. The good news: Keith has a car.

For the Kallura prompts- “Don’t you dare.”
“Don’t you dare” Allura warns in a raspy tone, fatigue in her voice.
“Dare what?” Keith asks, brow arched as he looks down at her.
Even in the darkness he can see her relatively clearly. She sits on a stone bench leaning against a tall immaculately trimmed hedge. Her legs are stretched out beneath an extravagant plum ball gown, feet bare on the cool stone walkway. Her heels have been kicked off some feet away.
“Judge me” she answers.
“I wouldn’t dream of it.” He grins. His immediate inclination is to sit beside her but he hesitates. Even after all this time being close to her rattles his nerves.
“You also better not snitch and tell anyone I’m out here.”
“Lips are sealed Princess. Besides you aren’t the only one sneaking out.” He admits, tugging at the stifling collar of his formal wear.
Allura turns to look at him, her cheek marks glowing faintly in the dark, smiles and gently pats the space next to her, moving chiffon out of the way to make space for him. He releases a held breath and takes his place beside her. The bench isn’t very long so they have no choice but to snuggle in. No one is complaining.
“I don’t know why I thought we would be done with these balls once the war was over.” He lets out a deep sigh, relishing the cool night air.
“You’re telling me. I haven’t worn heels in so long. I think I’d rather take on Honerva again then put those glittered strappy monstrosities back on.”
“Shhh don’t jinx it.” Keith smirks with a finger to his lips and the two chuckle among themselves.
They sit quietly for a moment before Keith continues.
“I can’t believe we did it, I can’t believe it’s over.”
“We’ll there’s still plenty of work to be done, but I know what you mean. There was many a time I could not even imagine that we’d be here, like this.”
“Yeah…feels like a dream.”
They’re silent again, listening to the music and voices inside. It’s another party in a slew of celebratory balls in their honor, a victory tour of sorts before they must get back to work.
“Should we head back ins-”
“Finish that sentence and I’ll hurl you across the garden” she cuts him off.
“Haha ok ok, point taken.” He laughs and wonders why he even suggested it when he’s perfectly content sitting outside, alone with her, staring up at the stars.
Allura shifts and rubs her arms.
“Cold?”
“I’ll be all right.”
“No no, take it.” He’s already taking off his coat.
“Keit-”
“Please, this thing is strangling me anyway.”
Allura smiles and sits up, putting the jacket around her and sliding her arms through the sleeves. She’s immediately greeted with his scent that has now permeated the garment. Taking a deep breath, she inhales him and is comforted.
“Thank you.”
“No problem.”
Allura starts to speak when familiar voices cut through the darkness.
“Princess? Princess Allura are you out here? Quizn- hmmph where has she gotten off to? The Prince of Toullyke requests a dance! Princess?!” Coran calls out.
Keith eyes Allura with a devilish grin and opens his mouth to respond causing the princess to clamp her hand over his mouth.
“Have you lost your mind?!” she hisses.
Keith removes her hand from his mouth, holding it to his chest.
“What? Don’t you wanna dance with the Prince of Toullywhatever?”
They inch closer as they tease each other in hushed whispers.
“Keith Kogane I swear on New Altea if you reveal our location I will…” she playfully threatens.
“You’ll what…” he challenges and leans forward.
“I’ll,” she’s so close she can feel his warm breath on her face, “I’ll have to do something drastic.”
“Yeah?” His voice is less jovial, but still taunting, daring her to please continue.
“Yes…”
Coran stands in the entrance of the grand double doors leading out into the garden, hands on his hips huffing in frustration and tapping his foot against the marbled tile.
“Did you find her?” Hunk approaches, looking a bit frazzled himself.
“No.”
“You know now that you mention it I can’t find Keith either…”
“Both missing? Where could they have gotten off t-”
Coran stops, blinks, mustache bristles, brain putting the pieces together. He looks at Hunk who has seemingly and just as suddenly come to the same conclusion.
“Maybe we could look for them later” Hunk suggests, putting his arm around the shoulder of the adviser.
“Yes yes, agreed. Perhaps I’ll find Romelle instead. She’s always wanted to meet a prince.”
Hunk’s eyes narrow and he gives Coran a warning squeeze that’s just a bit too tight.
“Don’t you dare.”

A/N: For @bryonyoungblood who asked for “first kiss” for the kallura prompts request. I decided to remix the hug scene cause that would have been a good place for some smooches.
It happens so fast it takes a moment for Keith’s brain to register it, to realize what’s happened. His body immediately tenses, he flinches. His hands stay frozen, fingers splayed, at a safe distance from the warm body that suddenly flung itself against his and is now embracing him.
He’s not used to hugs as is, it’s foreign to him, but this…this is something…all his senses are tingling, sparking, his mind is reeling.
“I’m sorry I misjudged you…” she says softly in his ear, warm breath brushing his lobe.
His limbs take over while his thoughts are still swirling and his hands raise, close in and rest on her back. The gesture immediately has her melt into him further making sure to absorb any amount of free space left between their bodies.
The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of emotions from finding out he was Galra, to her finding out he was Galra, to thinking he’d lost her and coming to terms with why the very idea bothered him so much which had him avoiding her gaze for a whole new slew of reasons.
But now Allura is here with him, accepting all of him, being vulnerable with him and all the hurt flutters away with each passing moment that she’s in his arms. And knowing her trauma, her pain that she’s had to quickly seal away in such a short time makes him want to protect her all the more.
He closes his eyes and suddenly he’s back in space, in that tiny pod sitting quietly next to her discussing each other’s fears and worries. He recalls the sudden loudness, the bright sparks, the heat before the subsequent whoosh as they both went hurtling out. The way she screamed his name, the way it made him feel, the way they reached for each other’s hands and latched on, swirling and spinning wildly before coming to a stop. And then it was just the two of them, holding each other surrounded by the vast but beautiful silence of space and stars. Just the two of them, hearing each other’s breathing, feeling each other’s bodies trembling, softly confirming that each other was ok.
He didn’t think that moment, those feelings, both terrifying and wonderful all at once, could be topped but this is surely becoming a contender.
“Come back to us” she urges as she slowly pulls away, to his disappointment, and gives him some space.
She stands straight, her fists balled at her sides attempting to show strength and dignity as a princess, but her eyes betray her. He can see the softness there mixed with fear, the pleading for his safe return from a dangerous mission he may not make it back from in once piece or at all.
“I will.” He assures her before turning to leave. But then he stops.
Being on his own, having little to no ties to anyone or anything, taking risks have never been a problem for Keith. He’s not afraid to play it a bit fast and loose. He’ll deal with consequences late. This however, what he’s thinking of doing actually has him rapidly comparing pros and cons in his head. He’s not ready to relive the feeling of being rejected by her so soon but, as they both know this really could be the last time and he doesn’t want any regrets.
He takes a deep breath, steels himself before quickly turning on his heel and marching toward her. Before she can react one hand is at the nape of her neck, pulling her in. The other finds a home at her waist and gently grips. Allura can barely let out the faintest gasp before their lips brush. She squeaks, whimpers then immediately reciprocates. It’s tender, soft, but there’s still an urgency knowing someone could walk in and interrupt at any moment.
“I will” he repeats in a raspy gruff whisper against her mouth, nuzzling his forehead against hers before hurriedly doing an about-face and nearly running away, suddenly feeling flustered and embarrassed yet invigorated all at once.
Allura stands there in the hanger long after he’s left, heart still pounding, but now completely relieved. She knows he’ll return. There isn’t a doubt in her mind.

I hope you don’t mind @aareysollen but I haven’t stopped thinking about these pics since you posted them. I had to write something!
“Hey Pidge!” Allura blurted out devilishly with the purpose of causing surprise.
Pidge yelped as she spun around, immediately letting go of the blue paladin’s hand, tossing it practically.
“Pidge. Lance.” Keith looked them up and down suspiciously.
“W-what are you guys doing here?” Lance stammered as the quartet found themselves face to face in the food court of the mall.
“Getting a gift for Uncle Coran, his birthday is next week” Allura replied, holding up a shopping bag.
“Ah cool cool.” Pidge laughed nervously.
“What are you two doing here?” Keith asked.
“Just hanging out…as friends…doing friend stuff…as part of our friendship.” Lance rambled on.
Smooth.
Keith and Allura shot a quick glance at each other before their gaze fell back on the pair.
“I see. Well you look lovely Pidge what’s the occasion?” Allura asked, noting her cute outfit, low side ponytail and…was that mascara?
“Uh…” she looked at Lance, searching his eyes for an excuse and finding none, “just trying out something different.”
“Are you wearing cologne?” Keith cut in.
“No!” Lance exclaimed before quickly recovering with “I mean, the ladies at the makeup counter really lay it on thick with the samples you know?”
He refused to make eye contact knowing damn well Keith was staring him down like a hawk.
“Huh, well enjoy your uh, friend stuff.” Keith smirked before taking a sip of his iced coffee.
“We will!” Pidge piped up. “You also enjoy your…wait, why are you two here together?”
“What?”
“Yeah, why are you guys here together? Since when do you two hang out alone?” Lance chimed in.
Keith choked on his drink, coughing loudly while Allura’s eyes went wide and she found herself suddenly putting a bit of distance between herself and the dark haired boy next to her.
“We are also here for…friendship. I mean, I needed a second opinion on Coran’s gift and Keith just happened to be free.” Allura smiled and nodded but there was fear in her eyes.
“Well we should get going!” Keith was already turning on his heels and quickly yanking Allura away.
Lance and Pidge waved awkwardly as they watched them leave and disappear down the escalator.
“They’re totally dating” Allura whispered to Keith as they turned and waved back before descending from view.
“Totally” he agreed, placing his hand on the small of her back.
“They’re dating” Pidge said aloud when she was sure they were gone.
“Oh for sure, who do they think they’re fooling? It’s embarrassing really. So, corndog?” Lance slipped his hand back in hers instinctively.
“Absolutely. You’re paying.”

Once upon a time I fell down a rabbit hole of binge watching Lana Del Rey mvs. The car kiss from Born To Die had me feeling some type of way and I’ve wanted a scene like that for my Kallura post s8 fic But Home Is Nowhere ever since. Now that I’ve drawn it I have to write it don’t I?

Mordern AU. Allura is dealing with her new neighbor's dog breaking into her apartment (because Cosmo's lonely).
A/N: I wasn’t sure how I was going to get Kosmo into Allura’s apartment in a way that made sense so this is a little modern au and a little canon divergent
There’s something weird about Allura’s neighbor Keith.Something very weird that Allura can’t quite put her manicured finger on. Andit’s not just one thing, it’s many little things that don’t add up, but he’s sodamn cute and the second he flashes that sheepish nervous smile or slight smirkshe lets it slide and it’s not until she’s back in her apartment that’s she’skicking herself for being so weak to his gorgeous violet eyes and roughness inhis voi-
…See there she goes again.
And it doesn’t help that he has an excuse for everything, even if the excuses don’t quite make sense.
When she asked him about the perfect, as in laser likeprecision perfect, scar on his face he claimed it was from a welding accident.
Sure…
When she asked him about the interesting looking blade onhis kitchen counter with the weird symbols on it he claimed it was a fancycooking knife he bought off QVC before quickly sweeping it into a drawer andslamming it shut.
Uh huh…
When he was helping fix her car that wouldn’t start and he mumbledhow it would be easier for him to fix if it was a “galra fighter jet” and sheasked what the hell that was, he laughed and waved it off and hurriedly changedthe subject.
Hmm…
And when she asked about his dog, a dog unlike anything she’dever seen, completely unique in its appearance, fur color and behavior, heclaimed it was a rare breed from a very small country somewhere in Europe thatshe probably has never heard of.
Ok…
And speaking of said “dog”, the strangeness has really ampedup as Allura stands in her apartment, keys in hand as she’s just walked in thedoor, staring at the pup (that looks more like a wolf to be honest) that’slounging on her couch. Considering her apartment was locked up tight before sheleft for work her mind literally cannot comprehend how the hell he got in herein the first place. His ears twitch at the jingling of her keys and heimmediately hops off her furniture to greet her and nudge her in hopes ofreceiving scratches and cuddles. She obliges, he’s the sweetest boy how can shenot, while her brain does somersaults wondering how the hell Keith is going toexplain this one.
When Keith finally returns from work later that evening andfinds his apartment empty he is immediately and frantically banging on Allura’sdoor hoping she’s seen him or will at least help him look for him.
“Allura,” he starts out frazzled and huffing, “I think Kosmoran away can you he-”
The words die in his throat as she stands there in herpajamas and opens to door wider so he can see his fur son happy and comfortableon her floor in front of the tv gnawing at rope toy. Kosmo makes no move to getup.
“Oh…you found him.” Keith sighs with relief as he stepsinside. “Was he wandering around outside?” he asks hesitantly.
“No.” Allura says with a lilt in her voice that has warningbells gently chiming in his head.
“Ah, well where did you find him?”
“He found me actually” she says sweetly.
“Is that so?” He flashes Kosmo a glare.
“Mhm! He was waiting for me in the apartment.”
Keith’s face falls before snapping into an anxious tightlipped grin.
“Oh…”
“It’s odd really, because my door was locked and the windowsclosed so not sure how he got in here.” She kneels down and tickles behind hisears.
“Uh, heh, yeah that’s a mystery for sure…”
He’s trying desperately to come up with an explanation thatsounds even remotely plausible and his mind is going blank. And Allura can seehim struggling, squirming, twisting. It’s time to put him out of his misery.
“You know what was even odder?”
He doesn’t reply, instead allowing her to continue.
“When I walked him back to your place and locked him inside,I came back to find him here…again. Isn’t that just the weirdest thing?” Her eyesnarrow on him and she doesn’t seem as shocked as she should be.
Keith starts to sweat.
“Ha, yeah that’s uh, peculiar.”
“Mhm, Is there anything you want to say to me Keith?” sheasks after a long pause.
He swallows hard.
“Like what?”
“Oh I dunno,” she shrugs playfully. “Like your dog canteleport or something.”
Keith’s heart sinks and he begins chuckling nervously.
“W-W-Why would you think that?”
“Because he’s been doing it repeatedly all night bringinghis toys and snacks over here while you’ve been away. Seems he’s a bit lonely” she replies bluntly asshe stands, hands on her hips.
“Shit…” he grumbles in defeat, sinking down onto her couch.
“And that’s not from a welding accident is it?” She motionsat his scar.
“No…”
“And you’re not originally from some desert town in Texasare you?” She continues with her questioning.
“Well…”
Technically that part was true. It was everything after thatthat got a bit wild. He stares at Allura wondering how to even begin explainingthat he’s a half human half alien who’s spent the last handful of years of hislife fighting an intergalactic war and now that the war was over he was takinga bit of a break on earth, but having outgrown his dessert shack, finds himselfin an actual apartment. And his dog, that has clearly ruined the façade hehaphazardly built, was actually a cosmic wolf he found on a giant flying whalecapable of wormhole jumping.
Keith suddenly feels sick to his stomach worrying how he’sgoing to tell her, the one person he’s grown to become fond of, the one closefriend he’s made since coming here, the pretty girl next door he didn’t want tomess things up with.
“Promise you’ll keep this a secret?” he starts.
“Of course!” She lights up, ecstatic that she’s finallyabout to get confirmation of her long time suspicions, and skips over to sitnext to him. “Pinky promise!”
She hooks her tiniest finger with his to seal the deal andhis cheeks burn at the skin to skin contact. It’s a bit of relief that sheseems open to hear whatever it is he’s about to say. He takes a deep breath, their fingers still locked.
“Ok, heh…well, it starts in a galaxy far far away…”

Can you do future kallura and their baby time travel to the past
A/N: Apologize for the lateness. Also their baby isn’t so much a baby but she’s still their baby so it sort of counts.
Keith could not be more proud of his daughter. Not only isher training going well as paladin of the black lion but she’s finally beenable to complete a successful wormhole creation and time jump thanks to the diligenttutelage of her mother.
Unfortunately she is ruining such an important moment bylaughing so hard she’s about to pee herself.
“It’s actually not that funny” Keith hisses.
“Oh, but it is!” Mina snorts, wheezing.
“Please do keep it down starlight, remember we cannot haveanyone see us or know we were ever here” Allura warns, patting her daughter’sback.
“Those boots though!”
“It was the fashion at the time!”
“Was it really though?”
“Would you two please!” Allura growls through gritted teethin her Queen Of Altea tone that lets them both know she means business. Theyquiet down.
Keith and Allura stand hidden from view with their teen inthe old Castle of Lions on a observation deck in the training room, watching theiryounger selves and the other paladins doing hand to hand combat drills. Minainsisted on coming to this time and place after much begging, wantingdesperately so see her parents when they were her age. She’s loving being able to catch of glimpse ofthem like this and clearly finds her father’s boots and cropped red jacket getup highly amusing.
“Ok ok I’m done.” Mina wipes tears from her eyes as hergiggles die down.
“Oh thanks, how generous of you” Keith snarls.
“Ah mom you were so pretty!”
“Thank you darling.”
“Why are you putting that man with the brown hair in aheadlock?”
“He knows what he did” Allura replies with a cold stare.
“Lance ran his mouth again I’m sure. He had a crush on yourmother.”
“Well he’s wasting his time because clearly you two were inlove with each other” Mina notes.
Keith and Allura chuckle and shake their heads.
“Well not at this moment, but eventually our feelingsdeveloped” Allura corrects.
“Heh yeah right” she retorts, voice dripping with sarcasm.
“Honestly, we didn’t weren’t sure of our feelings until thewar was nearly over.”
“Lies.”
“Excuse me?”
“We’ve been watching you guys for a while now and it’s soobvious I’m not sure why you two are playing dumb about it.”
“Dear I hardly think-” Allura starts, attempting to shut itdown but her daughter cuts her off.
“I mean look at you,” Mina gestures with her hand, “look athow dad keeps staring at you. His tongue is practically hanging out.”
“M-Mm-My tongue is not hanging out!” Keith fumbles hiswords.
“And then see that? Dad gets knocked down and youimmediately run to his side to make sure he’s ok.”
“W-W-Well he’s human and those bots can be quite dangerous”Allura explains, the tips of her ears starting to turn red. “I’m simply makingsure he’s not injured.”
“By gently brushing his hair from his face while you stareinto him with your baby blues?”
“He might have had a forehead contusion” Allura mutters underher breath while averting her gaze nervously.
“Mhm.” Mina purses her lips and commences smooching noises.
“Where do you learn the things that come out of your mouth?”Keith grunts.
“Aunt Romelle.” Mina grins.
Allura rolls her eyes and begins to back away from the room.
“I think we should get going. Perhaps go someplace else.”
“Can we visit you first date?”
“Absolutely not.” Keith snaps back and follows his wife fromthe room knowing damn well what happened on their first actual date and that itis not suitable for young eyes.
Mina was left behind for just a moment, long enough to seeeveryone leave the training floor with younger Keith and Allura lingeringbehind. She decided to take one last peek.
“Your training is going very well. You’re all gettingstronger every day, you should be proud.”
“Heh, thanks, just doing my best.” Keith huffs and wipes athis face and neck with a towel.
“It strengthens my faith we can save the universe fromZarkon.”
“Well I won’t let you down.”
“You never do…” Allura blushes and looks down, handsclasped.
Keith looks at her longingly, not sure what to say soinstead they stand there, awkward, anxious.
“Ugh they’re so cute I could puke.” Mina smirks.
“Darling come now” her mother calls after her quietly.
Mina stands up straight and scurries out with a grin on herface. Her parents can deny it all day, but she knows, and deep down they knowtoo, that the sparks were there from the very beginning.

If you are still taking prompts wish I hope so can you do kallura lion king au or atla au please!!!
A/N: Last one! And I decided to go with an atla au.
Keith keeps to himself, naturally out of desire, but mostly out of necessity.
He sticks to the back roads, always keeps his hood up to hide the telltale scar on his cheek, avoids taverns and hotels like the plague. Even as he camps out alone in the deepest darkest woods he still looks over his shoulder, checks twice before hesitantly igniting the fire instantly with the flick of his wrist.
Once in a while he’ll dip into the nearest town to replenish the supplies he can’t forage for himself but he hates to do it. Luckily today is a beautiful day and his campsite is by a river so he’ll hunt for his meals.
Or he’ll at least try to. He’s currently making a mess of it, standing knee deep in water, dripping frustrated, a branch he’s whittled down in his clenched fist.
“You’re scaring the fish.” A gentle voice calls from behind him.
Keith whips around quickly, huffing as his wet hair clings to his face.
A young woman stands at the shore in a sleeveless blue halter top and wrap skirt. Her intricately braided hair looks like snow and twice as soft, her eyes the color of the water currently rushing past his knees. A woven basket is tucked under her arm which she places at her feet, letting her hands rest on her hips.
“W-What?” Keith stammers, immediately lowering his head to shield his face.
“You’re scaring the fish. All that movement you’re making? You’re not going to catch a thing like that.” She giggles.
Before he can growl that he doesn’t need help, she’s already stepped out of her ankle boots and is wading into the water toward him.
“Stay back!” he blurts out, holding out his hand.
“Nonsense, I’m not going to bite.” She waves him off, continuing to approach. “Your stance needs work too” she adds as she comes up behind him.
Keith’s body clenches as she comes up behind him, moving limbs where she wants them. Her hand slides along his bicep and she positions his arm.
“Now stay still. You want to move only the top half of your body, not your feet, and even then try to only move your throwing arm.”
He’s trying to pay attention as she’s giving him solid advice but the skin to skin contact is distracting and he can’t remember the last time he’s had company longer than five seconds.
“Throw” she whispers in his ear.
He snaps back into focus and brings his arm down in one smooth motion. The spear sticks and when he yanks it back a big juicy fish greets him. Keith lights up at this achievement.
“Nice work” she congratulates him, patting his bare back before coming around to face him.
“Thanks.” He still averts his gaze.
“No need to be shy.” She smiles and holds out her hand. “Allura.”
“Allura” he repeats as he stares at her. He’s tried not to look at her up until this point and now that he has he can’t seem look away. He’s also noticing she’s not reacting the way he assumes she would upon seeing his face.
She doesn’t know who he is.
“Yorak” he replies and shakes her hand, trying to say it with confidence so she doesn’t realize it’s a fake.
“Yorak, interesting name. Are you new to our village?”
“Yeah, just passing through.”
“Oh really? From where?”
“Uh, heh, I’ve been everywhere really” he mutters.
It’s not like he can tell this woman he’s on the run, shirking his royal heritage and responsibilities, with the fire nation’s soldiers checking the four corners looking for him by order of his mother the queen.
“It must be exciting. I wish I could travel, I’m so jealous. Anyway, I should get going I’m already behind on my errands today and if I don’t bring fish home for mother to start on soon she’s going to kill me.”
“Need me to get some for you? I’m kind of an expert now.” He smiles awkwardly.
Allura returns his smile with a knowing smirk. She then plants her feet apart and commences moving her body and arms in fluid motions, almost as if she’s dancing. The water bubbles and separates from the river in orbs full of fish which she moves toward her personal items she left on the shore. She drops her hands and the orbs burst, depositing numerous wriggling flopping fish into her basket, filling it.
“I think I got it” she quips.
Keith chuckles, suddenly feeling foolish.
“Water bender…you know you could have just done that from the beginning instead of watching me struggle.”
“I could have, but you know that saying about teaching a man to fish.” She grins as she traipses back to the shore and plucks up the basket. “Well enjoy the rest of your day Yorak. I have an herb stall at the market. You should come say hello before you head out.”
Allura flashes him one last contagious smile before disappearing among the trees. Keith waves as he watches her leave with a tinge of disappointment. He really shouldn’t step foot in a crowded place like a market but if she doesn’t recognize him then perhaps no one else will. Hell the village is so small it’s not even on his map which means it’s not on the soldier’s either.
Maybe he’ll just stop in for a little bit. After all, he could use more supplies and some nice herbs would definitely taste great with the fish he just caught.

Do you take prompts? If you do how about Veronica thanking Shiro for taking care of Lance and then they start arguing over which of their respective little brother/figures is the one Allura likes. I head canon them as being classmates. Bonus add Matt with plance into the discussion. Please and thank you :-)
“No way.”
“Yes way.”
“But I thought she liked Lance. She told him to come backsafe and her voice was all sweet and fluttery.”
“That’s how she talks. She’s a walking Disney princess. Deerwould eat out of her hand if they could.”
“Oh, ok that makes sense now that you mention it because shetold me to have a lovely day once and then she smiled and it kind of made mefeel…you know” Veronica said.
“Oh I know. She’s charming as all hell” Shiro stated beforesnapping off a carrot stick in his mouth.
“And how are her eyes so damn sparkly?” She pounded a fistlightly on the table.
“I’m telling you, Disney princess.”
“What are we talking about?” Matt slid onto the bench andplaced his cafeteria tray on the table.
“The fact that Allura likes Lance.”
“She likes Keith” Shiro corrected.
“I’m telling you, I saw a blush.” Veronica’s voice was more insistent.
“I don’t care if her cheeks literally burst into flames. Iknow what I know.” Shiro shrugged.
“And what do you know?” Matt leaned in, happy to arrive justin time for gossip.
“I know Allura was a cranky, longing, heartbroken mess whenKeith left for The Blade. Didn’t come out of her room the rest of the day afterhe left, cares a little too much whenever he goes off someplace and there mayor may not be a certain red jacket in her possession that she swears up anddown she hasn’t seen whenever Keith goes looking for it. He thinks it blew upin the castle, but…” He trailed off in order to gobble down a large spoonful ofmashed potatoes.
“No way!” Matt’s mouth fell open.
Shiro gave him a look and that’s all Matt needed forconfirmation.
Veronica sighed and crossed her arms.
“Well does he like her back?”
Shiro nearly burst into laughter.
“Don’t even get me started. He’s a damn mess.”
Veronica pursed her lips.
“Lance is gonna be crushed” she said after a long pause, slumping her shoulders.
“I think he’ll fine. He’s already got other options.” Mattsmirked knowingly.
“The alien fangirls he loves to brag about are not options.”
“I don’t mean them, I mean Pidge.”
Shiro and Veronica snapped their heads in the rebel’sdirection.
“Pidge?”
“Pidge?!”
“Hey don’t say that like it’s so hard to believe. You knowhow they are Shiro.”
Shiro stroked his chin and thought about it.
“He is really protective of her…and down to get intowhatever crazy adventure she is…and they spend hours together playing thatvideogame until they end up falling asleep in bed together.”
Matt nearly choked on his green beans.
“Wait they fall asleep in bed togeth-”
“But does Pidge feel the same?” Veronica cut him off. Thisnew prospect had her greatly intrigued.
“She does get super annoyed when Lance gushes over othergirls and damn near threw a parade when Allura got wrapped up with Lotor beforehe, you know.”
“How long have they been sharing a bed for?!” Matt’s voicepractically squeaked.
“Not now Holt,” Veronica waved him away with her hand, “soAllura and Keith like each other and Lance and Pidge like each other, but noone is fessing up?”
“Exactly” Shiro answered.
“Wow, this is like some angsty YA novel.” Veronica tappedher fork to her lips. “So how do we get them together?”
“Get who together?” Lance was suddenly standing by the tablewith his food tray in hand. Pidge, Keith and Allura flanked either side of him lookingto sit as well.
The older siblings flinched and looked at the quartet beforetheir eyes darted among themselves nervously.
“Nothing! Nobody!” Veronica cleared her throat loudly. “Justchatting about uh…”
“Quantum physics” Shiro blurted out.
Everyone turned and stared him down incredulously.
“Quantum physics?!” Matt hissed under his breath.
“I panicked!” Shiro whispered back.
“Anyway,” Veronica announced a little too loudly, “we shouldget going. You all can have our spot.”
The other two quickly hopped up and snatched their trays anddrinks and hurried away, huddling together in some sort of secret discussion asthey left the room.
“What was that about?” Lance asked as he popped the top of asoda can.
“I dunno but I don’t trust it. It’s like they’re plottingsomething.” Pidge eyed them suspiciously.
“What on earth would they be planning?” Allura chuckled asshe neatly organized her utensils on the table.
“Whatever it is I’m sure it’s harmless,” Keith mumbled, “Imean, what could they possibly do?”

(Princessstaryknight's main blog) I have a drabble request for you! Modern AU where Keith takes Kosmo to the vet for his yearly check up, and finds himself very attracted to the new vet that the practice just hired, and happens to be the one taking Kosmo's appointment. 😉
A/N: hope you don’t mind but I changed it up a little from “yearly checkup” for something a bit more comical.
Keith could light himself on fire right now, theembarrassment is that real.
It’s not enough that he ruined a one year old’s birthdayparty, pissed off his brother and disappointed his brother-in-law. He now has to sit in a veterinary clinicwondering how he’s going to explain this to a brand new doctor now that thefamily vet Sam Holt has retired and is probably sitting on a beach somewheresipping pina coladas with his wife.
He sits in the exam room, glaring at his husky Kosmo, cursing the dog under his breath. He would die for this dog but he currentlywants to murder this dog.
Keith briefly checks his phone, gritting his teeth as thetexts come in from Hunk who was also at the party. Hunk’s trying to besupportive, but from the pictures he’s sending he also clearly finds the wholefiasco hilarious. Keith winces at a picture of a screaming child in a highchairwhen the door swings open.
Keith’s head jerks upward at the sound and his mouthpromptly falls open.
“Good afternoon Mr. Kogane. I’m Dr. Altea, but you may callme Allura. I’m new around these parts and I’ll be taking care of…Kosmo is it?”The veterinarian looks at her clipboard then the dog then approaches Keith.
She holds out her hand and Keith slowly takes it, stillgawking. Her hand is soft and warm and when she leans in for the shake thesmell of whatever hair product she uses drifts from her messy high bun right intohis nostrils.
Allura pulls back and places her clipboard on the tablebefore bending over to scratch Kosmo behind his ears. The pup groans, but leanshis head into her touch, milking whatever sympathy she has to give.
“So Mr. Kogane, what’s wrong with this sweet boy, hmm?”Allura coos before turning her attention to Keith.
He’s so busy staring he almost doesn’t hear the question andwhen he finally does process it his heart sinks. It was bad enough when he wasgoing to have to recount the incident to Matt, maybe receive some ribbing, butnow he has to tell a gorgeous woman that he’s a bad pet owner who can’t controlhis dog and traumatized a baby.
Keith swallows hard and takes out his phone, pulling up theevidence and handing it to her. Allura swipes from one photo to the next like aslideshow unfolding the series of unfortunate events as follows:
Shiro and Adam’sdaughter Coco sits in her high chair, party hat perched lopsided atop her darkhair which is pulled up into pig tails. The hat matches her frilly yellowdress.
A beautifullydecorated vanilla smash cake with white frosting and pink flowers is placed infront of her.
Coco stares at thecake and a yellow flickering “1” candle in awe and wonder (presumably whileeveryone sings to her).
Seemingly before thesong could even finish Kosmo leaps up on his hind legs, paws perched on thehighchair and lunges at the confection, mouth open wide.
Kosmo continues toinhale the cake, almost like a snake with its jaw unhinged swallowing it in itsentirety. Coco is screaming.
Keith is yanking hisdog away. Coco is in hysterics in Shiro’s arms who’s face is in mid snarl.
Fin.
Allura places fingers over her mouth trying desperately notto laugh as she hands the phone back.
“The whole cake?” she asks, voice still shaky as she’smuffling a snicker.
“A whole cake…with the candle…and a plate of hot dogs…” Hesighs with shame and hangs his head.
At this point Allura can’t hold it in and she lets out awonderfully charming guffaw followed by a snort.
“Sorry.” She giggles and her smile makes his insides flutteron sight.
“It’s ok.” Keith chuckles. Now that the worst of it is over,it is a bit funny.
She composes herself before returning to Kosmo and strokinghis head and back.
“Well the good news is birthday candles are non-toxic so heshould be fine. There could be a chance of a bit stomach upset or soft stoolgiven the introduction of something he’s not used to paired with his littlefeast, but overall I think he should be fine. Just keep an eye on him for thenext 24 hours and if any problems arise, just give me a call.”
She stands and slips a hand into her coat pocket, giving himher card when it reemerges.
“Y-You want me to call you?” His cheeks flush as he flipsher card over in his fingers.
“If there’s an issue with Kosmo” she clarifies.
“Ah, heh, yes with Kosmo.”
“Or if you have any questions and general” she adds with asmile.
“Of course.”
He slides the card in his back pocket and hops to his feet.
“So what do I owe?”
“This one’s on the house.”
“Really?”
“Yes, I think you both have suffered enough today.” Shesmirks.
Keith laughs and shakes his head, stepping around her tocarry Kosmo off the table. He walks his sluggish dog out of the room and intothe main lobby.
“Uh, you know, maybe I should bring Koz back next week, justas a follow up to make sure he’s ok.” Keith shrugs innocently.
Allura blinks then bites her bottom lip to hold back a grin.
“If you think it’s best.”
“I’d feel better if I saw y- if Kosmo saw you again.” Hefumbled his words, cheeks flushed.
“Yes…Kosmo. Then I guess I’ll see you next week. Take careMr. Kogage.” She waved sweetly over her shoulder before disappearing into heroffice.
Keith waited for his heart to slow before looking down athis faithful companion and crouching to get to his level.
“You were very bad today…”
Kosmo whimpered, tried to cover his face with his paw.
“That being said…” he glanced up at her door, at her namesplayed across the gold plating, “good boy, very good boy!”

Kallura olympics?
They’ve performed this routine a million times in practice, enough to where both knew it like the back of their hands, enough that everytouch and movement felt routine, natural, almost robotic in its consistency.
And yet this time it feels entirely different.
And not just because this is what they’d both been workingtoward for four years with their blood sweat and tears, with a literal medaland their reputation on the line, but because…
Perhaps it’s the adrenaline, or the built up emotion ofgetting to this point together, or the emotion of something else, but as theybring the performance to a close and Allura is in Keith’s arms, his warm breathwarming her lips, her heart is racing, pounding so loudly in her chest she canno longer hear the accompanying song taper off or the roar of applause. All shecan hear is the organ drumming inside her and all she can see is his violeteyes and all she can feel is softness as her thumb grazes his bottom lip as shecups his face as part of their ending pose.
In that moment, as they stare at each other, something haschanged significantly.
It shakes Allura so much everything else is a blur. Shebarely remembers pulling away and waiving to the crowd, gliding off the icehand in hand. She spaces out, crinkling the plastic wrapped bouquet in herhands as their score pops up on the screen one by one: 9.57, 9.82, 9.79…
She’s still holding his hand and she can feel him squeeze asthe scores continue, his thumb rubbing comforting circles into her skin.
There’s more thunderous ovation and next thing she knowsKeith is yanking her to her feet into a hug. She sinks into him, deeplyinhaling the scent of his sweat mixed with cologne. She doesn’t want to let go.Now the tears are coming, dripping down on the beading on the shoulder of hiscostume.
“We did it” he whispers in her ear as his hands meet thesmall of her back in an embrace. “I’m so proud of you.”
“Of us” she corrects gently.
“You did all the work,” he jokes, rocking her back and forthslightly, “I just lift and catch you when need be.”
She can hear the smile in his voice.
Later in the evening the hotel bar is so packed it spillsout into the lobby. Everyone is celebrating whether it’s an actual victory orjust the accomplishment of qualifying and competing at such a prestigiousevent. Keith knows if he makes eye contact with Lance one more time he’ll becoerced into taking another shot of whiskey and he’d like to actually rememberwhat this night feels like so he dips out through the crowd into the crisp snowynight air, but not before snagging two flutes of champagne.
“You are an incredibly hard woman to find when you wanna be”Keith states as he approaches Allura sitting outside on a log bench.
“And yet you find me every time.” She smiles as she removesa hand from her red puffer jacket and takes the glass from him.
He sits right beside her, so close their shoulders touch, despite the bench being quite lengthy.
“Cheers Miss Olympic Gold Medalist.”
“Cheers Mr. Olympic Gold Medalist.”
They clink glasses and sip, smacking their lips equally loudwhich results in giggles.
“I still can’t believe we did it.” Allura sighs, her warmbreath curling into the air.
“Yeah…it’s…skating out there with you today was amazing.” Heturns and looks at her.
Allura knows he’s eyeing her and she avoids his gaze, herstomach bubbling. She glances toward the hotel. They’re just far enough away togrant some privacy and yet she’s nervous someone will come out and see them anymoment.
“Lu…” Keith starts in again. “Did it, did it feel differentthis time?”
Oh she hates the way he reads her mind, how in sync he canbe with her thoughts and feelings which she shouldn’t be surprised by asthey’ve been partners for such a long time now.
“You felt that too huh?” She tries to dismiss it with aplayful chuckle.
“Yeah” he mutters and lets his free hand rest on top ofhers, fingers tangling, intertwining. “I liked it though” he adds after a longpause.
Allura turns her head to face him, trying her best to curbthe smile creeping on her face. Keith smirks back and quickly gulps down theremaining champagne in his glass for a little liquid courage before placing itbeside him and returning to cradle the side her jaw in his hand.
“This is going to drastically change our workingrelationship” Allura blurts out suddenly as he’s inches from her face.
“Probably.”
“People are going to talk” she cut in once more as he closedthe distance.
“Let em’” he whispers against her mouth.
“But what if-”
“Lu will you please shut up so I can kiss you?”
Allura lets out a surprise squeak before pushing air fromher nostrils. She knows she’s being silly and overly cautious. If she can trusthim out on the ice, she certainly can trust him with this. She nods and hereyes flutter closed as he leans in, the medals around their necks clinking asthey come together.

For the fanfic meme, 5, 25 and 29
5) If you had to choose a favorite out of all of your multi chaptered stories, which would it be and why?
I think it’s a tie between Oh My Goddess and Gas Money which I’m currently working on. Depicting Keith and Allura getting into some wild shit beyond their control is just really fun for me to write given their personalities.
25) Have you ever cried whilst writing a story?
Almost. I have a fic in wip and there’s a scene in which Alfor dies and Allura privately says some final words to him during the funeral. Putting yourself in that head space, thinking of what she wants to convey, and not being ready to let go can make you a little emotional.
29) Do you have a story that you feel doesn’t get as much love as you’d like?
I did a fic called Replicate the Heart. It deals with Keith and Allura having a complicated relationship and then throw death and cloning into the mix and the consequences that come after. I would have loved for it to have done better, I put a lot of heart and emotion into it, but I can see why it wasn’t people’s cup of tea. I wouldn’t take it back though.
Thanks East!
Ask me a question about my fics
Shameless plug of my Ao3

Kallura superhero au where Allura is the hero and Keith is the reporter type character trying to solve this conspiracy or whatever
A/N: @dragonwatergirl also asked for a superhero au so figured I’d kill two birds with one stone. Also Happy Kallura Positivity Day!
The perfect story has fallen into Keith’s lap, likeliterally fell into his arms and is now on his couch. This could catapult hiscareer and confirm everything he’s been speculating, researching, formulatingfor a while now.
All he has to do is take off the mask.
He bends down and his hand hesitates, hovers over her concealedface, fingers gently grazing the bridge of her nose before jerking away. Hebacks up and paces, biting at his thumb nail glancing back as her chest risesand falls.
Keith’s been covering Oriande for a while, the local legendof Garrison City. The citizens call her a hero, the police dub her a vigilanteand to the criminals of course she’s a menace. He’s followed her more closelythan any journalist at the Marmora Star, purely voluntary, and if it wasn’t forthe fact that his stories are so damn good and captivating his boss would havereassigned him ages ago.
This is partly because Keith is a good writer, no doubt, butalso because Oriande has allowed him to get close. After what felt like the 800thtime of Keith getting a little too near the action and his behind needingsaving, she decided to have a little mercy by giving him crumbs, tidbits sothat he’d stay at a respectable distance and actually let her do her job.
Tonight is one such night where Keith did what he does best, get in the way, and Oriande took a blow, shielding him during a laboratoryexplosion. For the first time it was his turn to save her and knowing he couldn’tvery well take her to the hospital she now lays on his sofa, battered, bandagedand unconscious. He studies her fitted white bodysuit with gold plating on thechest, wrists and white knee high boots. Her staff and utility belt rest on hiscoffee table.
He realizes he’s staring, lingering for too long so he dartsinto the kitchen to fix himself a drink, take a breather. When he returns, sippingwhiskey from a rocks glass, he nearly chokes to find the couch empty. He nearlydrops the cup, quickly setting it on the table with a shaking hand beforedarting to each room of his tiny bachelor pad. Light pouring out from hisbathroom into the hallway should have been the obvious first stop but Keith’snot thinking straight at the moment.
“That’s gonna leave a mark” Oriande hisses, staring at herreflection in the mirror.
The side of her outfit is all torn up and tinged with dirtand blood from the blast. Keith patched her up the best he could but some ofher skin is still exposed including the hint of a small lion tattoo that hetries desperately to memorize before he’s caught ogling.
“How are you feeling?” he asks assoon as her eyes meet his in the mirror.
“Not great, but not dead so…silverlining.” She smirks. “Thank you for, all this.”
“No problem. Sorry it’s such a crappyjob.”
“No no, I like the Sesame Streetband-aids, it’s a nice touch.” She chuckles and the sound of her laugh setsKeith ablaze with an odd warm fluttering feeling that he suddenly realizes isthe same sensation he gets whenever she’s even remotely close to him.
“I just grabbed what was on sale”Keith fumbles with his excuses.
“Mhm. Well thank you. I should getgoing though.” She slides by him to head back toward the living room.
“Wait!” His hand shoots out andcatches her by the wrist. “You should stay and rest a bit more.”
Oriande looks at him and herexpression softens before slipping her hand from his grasp, slowly in a waythat allows their fingers to tangle and brush.
“I’ll be ok, promise.”
She saunters to the coffee tableand picks up her belt, securing it around her waist then grabbing her staff. She presses a button and it contracts into something smaller that she tucksinto one of the slots on the belt.
“Do me a favor?” Oriande asksstanding at his back door. “When you write about tonight, because I know you will, maybe leave the part out where I passed out and bled on your couch. Just doesn’tsound as cool y’know?”
A grin creeps on Keith’s face andhe nods.
“Deal.”
She flashes him a wink and disappearsinto the night leaving him breathless and buzzing with the adrenaline of havingher in his house. Keith lets out a heavy sigh and drags his hands through hishair as he goes back to pacing the room attempting to calm down. Back and forthhe strides before something catches his attention on his very own wall.
Keith’s not much for interiordesign but he’s very proud of his photo gallery wall, especially given theamount of time he spent pressing a level against every frame to make sure not asingle one was crooked.
He zeros in a particular photo deadcenter. He’s killing it in a black on black suit at a charity ball withGarrison City’s finest and most prominent in attendance. Keith is on the left,in the center his best friend who justso happens to also be the young handsome CEO of Shirogane Tech and on the rightthe daughter of the mayor Allura Altea.
He’s reminded of how stunning shewas that night, especially in that body hugging red dress with the teasingcutouts on the sides. He recalls the way he slyly stole glances at said peeksof skin and was pleasantly surprised to find at the time that the prim andproper daughter of a politician had a tattoo visible from one of said cutouts.
Keith’s eyes widen and he quicklyyanks the photo off the wall and runs back into the bathroom to get a clearerlook in the light. It’s small and he really has to focus but it looks like alion. He’d swear on it.
“Holy shhh…”
He doesn’t finish his sentence ashe’s too busy pulling his phone from his pocket and frantically dialing, thanking the gods that a previous interview during the mayor’s campaign seasonhas allowed him to even have the cell phone number he’s now calling. His heartraces as he listens to the ringing before a familiar voice cuts through.
“M-Mr. Kogane? To what do I owesuch a late night phone call?”
“Miss Altea? Hi, uh, this is KeithKogane, well I guess you knew that. Heh, um, I was just…” he didn’t think thisthrough, “I was wondering if I could meet with you to uh…to interview you about…the…newchildren’s center?”
“Hmm? Your colleague Miss Holtalready interviewed me concerning the center’s opening last week.”
Her pretty British accent fills hisears and he admires how well she hides it as Oriande.
“Yes! Right! But she asked me toget some follow up questions while she’s…out sick!”
“Oh, well all right. Perhaps overdinner then?” She sounds tired but there’s still a playful lilt in her voice.
“Yes, dinner, tomorrow night?”
“Eager. Can we make it Friday? I’mfeeling a bit under the weather myself.”
He smirks knowingly.
“Yeah Friday is great. Vrepit Sal’sat 7?”
“Sounds lovely. I’ll see you then.Goodnight Mr. Kogane.”
“Night.”
Keith hangs up and holds the phoneto his chest which is now doing a drum solo. He knows who she is. He knowsOriande’s identity, or he’s at least 99% sure of it. He hasn’t decided exactly how or even if he’s going to confront her withwhat he’s discovered, he just knows he absolutely cannot wait to see her.
Friday can’t come soon enough.

If you're still taking drabble requests, how about a Kallura mermaid AU (they can both be mermaids or one of them is a mermaid, your pick)
A/N: there’s not much mermaid-ing in this, so I apologize but I hope a reverse little mermaid au hits the spot! For some reason it was the first thing that popped into my mind.
It was in that moment that Keith realized, as everyone atthe table stared at him wide eyed with mouth agape, that he had committedanother faux pas, one of several during his brief stint here. While hisgrooming techniques may have perfectly acceptable beneath the ocean surface, itbecame clear that forks were meant for eating, not hair combing. If only hecould just explain himself, but that would prove difficult with his inabilityto talk. So instead he winced in embarrassment and slowly lowered the utensilhe was using to tease his tresses, placing it on the table.
“Your new friend is certainly…interesting…” Romelle mumbledwith a mouth full of potatoes.
“He’s, well he’s clearly still recovering from whatevershipwreck he suffered when I found him on the beach so give him a break!”Allura hissed before glancing at Keith with a nervous giggle and quicklysnatching up his fork to polish with her napkin before returning it to hisplate.
Allura seemed to set the tone at the table and the secondshe acted as if nothing strange had ever happened the rest of the tablefollowed suit and conversations resumed.
Keith looked at the princess with a weak smile beforepicking up the pronged instrument and watching her intently, trying to mimichow she ate. When noticed, she grinned and slowed down so he could catch on.The first time he successfully got a roasted baby carrot, which he found ok butnot great, into his mouth he beamed. Allura rewarded him with a nod and a paton his leg under the table. It was innocent really but the sudden touch by herof all people to legs he’d acquired only a few days ago sent a shock wave uphis spine and his face turned a shade resembling a lobster. She turned awayfrom him to address her father the king and he was allowed to let out thebreath he’d held in. Was it warm in the room? He felt flustered.
When everyone eventually excused themselves at the end ofthe meal he couldn’t wait to bolt to the room they’d set up for him, but notbefore taking another plate of dessert to go. It was the first time Keith hadever experienced red velvet cake and he was truly in love.
“You’re going to geta stomach ache if you eat too much” Allura teased after nudging open hisbedroom door and leaning against the frame. She was in a fresh pair of pinkpajamas, her long hair in a braid.
Keith was sitting on the bed mid bite when she caught him bysurprise and he leapt to his feet to reveal he was in nothing more than anoversized sleep shirt which had been buttoned improperly and was lazily hangingoff one shoulder.
“Oh!” Allura blushed, bringing a hand to her mouth to stiflea giggle. “Um, hmm it seems you still need a bit of help.”
The princess looked around to make sure no one waspatrolling the halls before slipping into his room and closing the door. Shemade a bee line for the dresser and pulled out a pair of soft silky pants in adeep red hue.
“The attendants informed me it was quite a task dressing youtoday. You continue to be full of surprises. Be a dear and put your leg inhere.” She bent down and held the pants open.
Keith glanced back and forth, saddened to put his cake down.He lifted a leg awkwardly and she snickered and slid it on.
“Now the other.”
He did as instructed and while keeping her eyes elsewhere, Alluratugged them up his thighs and hips.
“Now the shirt.” She scrunched her lips. “Well you certainlytried I’ll give you that.”
The princess shrugged and began unbuttoning his shirt to setit right. Keith flinched and his breath quickened. He was no expert in thesematters but something about it felt intimate. Allura waited until his shouldersrelaxed before continuing on.
“Are you enjoying yourself here?” Allura tried to distracthim, and herself.
Keith nodded profusely.
“Ah that’s good. It’s been lovely having you here andgetting to know you. Hopefully you’ll be able to, erm, speak soon and rememberwhat happened to you.”
Keith avoided her gaze. If only he could tell her, but adeal was a deal and he signed Haggar’s contract fair and square. It was worthit though, being able to finally be by her side rather than watching andlonging from afar.
“I must admit it’s a bit…I always feel like I’m talking toomuch when I’m with you, rambling in fact.” She shyly nibbled at her lip, choosingto focus on each button as she worked her way up.
Nonsense, he thought. He could listen to her talk forever. Keithwent to open his mouth before twisting it into a pout realizing it waspointless.
“There all done!” She smoothed her hands over his shirt, andchest, before quickly jerking them away.
Keith looked at himself in the mirror. A vast improvementfrom the mess he’d made of himself before.
“Well I’ll let you get some rest, Goodnight.”
Allura backed away from him and headed for the door. Herhand hesitated at the knob and she suddenly turned back to Keith who hadn’ttaken his eyes off her.
“Say,” she started, “there’s this beautiful cove withweeping willows on castle grounds. It’s quite lovely. Perhaps we could take aboat ride there tomorrow, just you and I? Would you like that?”
Keith’s insides fluttered and his head shook in agreement.
“Wonderful! Well, again, goodnight.”
She whirled around and slid out of the door. She shut itquietly before skipping happily down the hallway. Meanwhile Keith flopped backon the bed, hand to his thumping chest, a smile widening on his face. This wasperfect. If he could just show her somehow while they were alone, make her seehow he felt. And maybe she’d feel the same way? Perhaps even seal it with a ki-…no,he wouldn’t get ahead of himself.
For now he’d sleep, or at least try to. His mind wascurrently doing somersaults, as was his heart.
