So here it is.  What your favorite yugioh ship says about you.  Warning:  You may find yourself feeling absolutely called out and attacked by the following statements.  I will not apologize.

All the Yami/Hikari Pairings (Yugi/Yami Yugi, Malik/Yami Malik, Ryou Bakura/Yami Bakura):You’re just here for some yaoi.

Puppyshipping (Seto Kaiba/Jonouchi):You like belligerent sexual tension.  You just do.

Seto Kaiba/Anzu Mazaki:Your ideal relationship dynamic is Beauty and the Beast. 

Jonouchi Katsuya/Anzu Mazaki:Your ideal relationship dynamic is sitcom wife sitcom husband. 

Jonouchi/Honda:Your ideal relationship dynamic is two bros chilling in a hot tub.

Not to ruin your enjoyment anon, I also liked it when I first watched it because dragons and "earl grey", but then re-watching it, especially after knowing what comes next...

They retconned what was going to happen in the next arc!

In what fresh hell would the Dark Magician "my soul is your eternal servant" Mahad turn against the Pharaoh?

On top of having a "dimension for monsters", when the very following arc explains how monsters are just souls of humans, thus not, originally, separate entities!

When he uses the seal of evilness, his monsters turn against him, but when anyone else does, they're A-ok?

And not only the monsters, but the cast in general? It's a typical case of "when I do X it's bad, but when you do X it's good" ; Dartz is looking for "strong souls" but he and his henchmen could only get Rex, Weevil and Mai when Bakura is around? Seriously? The Ishtar sibs? Also, biggest missed opportunity to make the eldritch monster who was manipulating everything with magic rocks just a regular sea monster, and not, idk, something magical like Zorc himself or tied to his existence/a similar being.

IDK why this arc was added, maybe to show more cards or because they needed a filler since the manga wasn't over yet, idk, but damn. Granted, it was the early (to mid?) 2000s, so it was another era lol.

Rex and Weevil strike me as the kind of couple who got together as like a joke or for a dare, but then just... never broke up for some strange reason...? Which of course confuses many people because when they’re together all they seemingly do is argue, but then you’ve got Rex making gaga eyes at Weevil from across the room 98% of the time, Weevil going to war with anyone who dares to even insinuate that Rex is stupid, and everybody else wondering if this is all still just a joke or if they did actually fall in love with each other.

Ushio: Ventrue

Weevil's pretty self-explanatory. Nosferatu are sneaky, intelligence based kind of guys which suits Weevil to a tee, and with animalism matching up with his affinity for bugs, it's just the perfect clan for him. Just take a grain of salt with any intel he sells you. Its either a half-baked truth or he's also sold it to everyone else.

Rex and Mako being Gangrel leans into their deck themes more than anything, but Mako works well with his wandering ways too. Rex is definitely Weevil's bodyguard when he gets himself into trouble, and he absolutely has a reptilian Protean form whereas Mako just loves the ocean and only rarely comes to shore. Weirdly enough, he's still a very social guy when he is on land.

Ushio is Ventrue because he's domineering, exploitative, and can hold his own in a fight. He's always angling to be the top dog, but knows how to use accepted rules and social conventions to suit him.

...okay but what clans would the yugioh cast belong to?

Thought I'd have fun and make a self-insert trix user, thanks to being inspired by those on the Ink Tank Server. So this is Crystal Sophia Lunette, an alternate Ben 10 Universe character. I might also use this as an avatar for the redesign videos, for the fun of it! In terms of her story, Crystal is the daughter of a human woman named Ela, and a Laconereal male called Perseus. Her father had worked with Azmuth, and giving the watch when Azmuth lost hope in the project. Perseus eventually settled on earth sometime after randomly meeting Ela, got married and started a family life. However, things suddenly changed when Perseus vanished one night, seemingly on the run from something, or someone. A young ten year old Crystal went through her father's things, stumbling upon the Omnitrix and switching it on by mistake, now given the agility to turn into aliens. Her true adventures began when she decided to find her father, and figure out what is happening. Crystal also names her alien forms after mythical creatures, or things related to myths and legends.
