This cream comes with 100 ml (3.38 oz) and has a kind of ingredients scent.

The product comes in a basic squeezy tube and comes out without making any kind of a mess.

The cream is pretty thick but it's not overly heavy.

The cream blends out well and it's got enough weight that it should be ideal for very dry skin types.

Once it has soaked into the skin it's not too tacky and is deeply moisturizing.

Recommended use is to take an appropriate amount and apply a small amount to the face or body, and massage gently into the skin. Repeat as required. After using, this is a very nice moisturizer, it's definitely designed for dry to very skin and it has pretty good lasting power. It has kind of an ingredients-like scent and very nourishing and moisturizing ingredients. It’s not sticky or really tacky, it absorbs in well leaving skin smoothed out. This layered over the lotion in this same line here, work well together and make the moisturizing effects last quite a bit longer. I didn't notice any irritation and it did soothe my skin with no problem, it's also very ideal for sensitive skin. I'd recommend this to people with dry and/or sensitive skin.

What I like: this is very moisturizing and has lasting power. It's sensitive skin-friendly and there are no artificial scents. The ingredients are lovely and they don't have any irritants listed. This works well layered over other TREATIS products. It's not sticky and it really leaves skin smoothed out. This is amazing for dry to very dry skin. What I don't like: nothing, it's a good moisturizer.

The...world, he thinks, around him shifts just slightly, and there seems to be a chink in the armor for a moment before it goes away, as if someone had wiped the glass clear. He realizes that this is her, trying to show up in a physical form, step out of the phone.

He doesn’t know where to look, but then his confusion wanes when a butterfly shows up, fluttering towards him. It lands near his phone, skitters a bit, flaps its wings.

“Lucy?” he asks, transfixed on the butterfly. Its orange wings are bright under the sunlight.

“Well, you certainly nailed it.” He smiled warmly at the butterfly, and he had the crazy notion that it smiled back at him.

Review: Soo Good Feel Soo Calm Toner Pads

When I first heard that Soo Beauty was coming out with a skincare brand, I was excited. Soo is one of the Kbeauty influencers that I’ve been following for the longest, and she’s also probably the content creator whose recommendations most often hit the mark for me. Both my fave cleanser (bellamonster’s sensitive care solution whipping foam) and everyday sun cream (wellage’s hyper toning sun ampoule) were bought on her recommendations!

That said, I’m not really a toner pad person. I’ve used a couple in the past, but I’ve always had the same problems with them: they’re tiny, they dry up as I’m wiping my face, and they feel rough on the skin. Soo (who is a toner pad fan) talked about all of these herself, and said she’d made sure to address these issues with her own product

Ingredients

This is a really simple formula, with a total of just 16 ingredients! I’ts fragrance free, and I can certainly say it doesn’t smell of anything at all. You can view the full inci list on incidecoder... well, I uploaded it (you’re welcome) and as of writing this it hasn’t been approved yet, but you can still view it through this link. I copied the ingredients list printed on the package.

I can’t say I’m familiar with cabbage as a topical ingredient, but Soo said she chose it because of the anti-inflammatory effects she’s noticed (on her skin and in her body generally) from drinking cabbage juice every day. Even without the cabbage, though, this would be a lovely calming product because of all the other soothing plant ingredients: centella asiatica, green tea, aloe vera, cucumber, and roman chamomile!

But, what’s possibly even more important than the ingredients in this particular case is the actual toner pad itself

The pad

Unlike other pads I’ve used, these are sooper soft, and don’t feel dry or drying on the skin at all. I have particularly sensitive skin myself, so this is something I especially look out for. They’re made of 100% cotton.

Size-wise, these aren’t actually the biggest I’ve tried... but they are the softest by far. Hopefully you can tell from the photo below, that the larger pad (which is the miplay tea tree pad, btw) has a rougher texture - making it better for exfoliation, but not so good for daily use or soothing care, which is Soo good’s focus.

I wouldn’t say either are necessarily better than the other, but for soothing I’d definitely choose Soo’s.

They’re especially nice in the morning, on days I don’t feel a proper cleanse is necessary (see: most days). A single pad contains enough essence to go over the entire face without drying up, and although I’m not the most experienced with toner pads, the feel so calm toner pads are the most hydrating ones I’ve found. What I really like is that I actually feel that I’ve applied a toner when I use these, rather than just rubbing some fabric on my skin and having to follow up with more products to actually hydrate it.

But, the way I find myself using these most often is by putting one on either cheek and leaving it as a 5 minute sheet mask. This is really good for reducing redness, giving you skin a hydration boost, and taking a little selfcare breather - calming both for your skin and your mind ヽ(￣ω￣ )

On the note of waste, I know a lot of people don’t like using single-use cotton pads. Personally, I reduce waste in many other areas of my life (minimal wardrobe, don’t drive, try my best only to buy things I need) so I feel that I can let myself use sheet masks and single use pads. I do also appreciate that these, unlike most sheet masks, come in a big packet rather than being individually wrapped. Also, guys, reusable cotton pads are not nice to use at all, stop lying to me.

Price + where to buy

I got them on stylekorean for $23.40 (sale price) - roughly £17 - for 170ml of essence and 60 pads. This is a little more expensive than I’d normally pay for a toner, but not so much I feel like I’m really splashing out.

This product contains 200 ml (6.76 oz) and has a really nice hair salon kind of fragrance.

This product comes in a large squeezy tube which is a little hard because the product is kind of thick.

The hair treatment is white in color and is a thick cream.

It spreads out like a cream moisturizer and has a very moisturizing feeling.

It's really easy to smooth through the hair and immediately makes it feel softer.

After rinsing it out my hair feels really smooth and soft and is nice and shiny.

Recommended use is after using shampoo, apply an appropriate amount, massage the hair gently for 2-3 minutes and then wash out with lukewarm water and it's recommended to allow hair to air dry or dry with the cool air function of your dryer. After using, first off I really love the scent of this hair treatment, it's really nice smelling like a salon or a spa even. The texture of the treatment is very thick and creamy and so not much is needed. It smooths through the hair really easily and is really effective at softening the hair pretty much immediately. I prefer to leave it in longer than 2-3 minutes but I think it would be effective after 2-3 minutes because it starts to soften the hair quickly. The ingredients are also really nice and there are many components to help clear the scalp of dry and dead skin and help to clear the way for new hair growth. It didn't make my scalp flaky or dry out my hair. My hair feels really soft and looks really shiny and it does a good job of smoothing out any frizz but most of all I noticed that I lost less hair after using it with the shampoo than on days where I shampooed without it. I'd recommend this to anyone with fine or thinning hair or anyone who has a dry or flaky scalp or if you just want to help improve your hair growth.

What I like: I love the texture of the mask, it's very thick and creamy and feels like a heavy moisturizer. The ingredients are really nice and ideal to improve hair growth and cleanse the scalp without causing any flakiness. It also really moisturizes the hair and improves shine and controls frizz. The scent is really nice and a little goes a long way so this product should last quite a while. It also starts to work quickly and it greatly reduces the amount of hair loss after shampooing. What I don't like: nothing really.

An Introduction to Purito Skincare

Purito tastes like licorice and has a pungent flavor that some people find unpleasant. Others love the flavor. The plant has long been used both for its medicinal purposes and as an aphrodisiac.

Purito centella askance is an herbal herb which is been widely used in traditional medicine and cooking in Asia. Althea Korea 2019 Lunar New Year Box | Hanbok Beauty Box

It is so well designed and serves as a beautiful decoration even after the scent is gone. You can even replenish or change the scent if you have your own essential oils. Purito Centella Green Level Buffet Serum 

This serum contains 49% Centella extract that promotes collagen synthesis and activates cell tissues to calm trouble scars. It helps the skin with whitening and wrinkle improvement. I like how they even used recycled packaging for the serum.

Calmia Perfect Outdoor Sun Block

This is the second time I’m purchasing this sunblock. It have an SPF50+ and it is skin coloured. You can use this on your face for light coverage but I use it for my body instead. What more can I say it is cheap and it does it job so I repurchased it.

Etude House Sunprise Natural Corrector

This is another sunblock that I purchased. The Etude House Sunprise Natural Corrector have a SPF50+ and I intend to use it for my face. I still have yet to try it. 

Mise en Scene Perfect Serum

This is a hair oil. It smells wonderful, like a mixture of flowers and sweets. I like how my hair does not feel greasy after usage plus my hair smells wonderful. However, my hair does not feel healthier after usage.

CP-1 Premium Hair Treatment 

This is an item that is in my Xmas Wish list. I was attracted to this product because of its syringe packaging. This product works wonder. It made my hair feel soft and smooth after usage. I am just unsure how I can reuse the syringe. 

CP-1 Premium Silk Ampoule

The Silk Ampoule is a great after care product. It made my hair feels healthier once again. It’s such a shame it comes in such a small package. On the other hand, this characteristics could be seen as ‘portable’.

ARITAUM Real Ampoule Color Corrector

Have you heard of this saying where you can use a red lipstick to cover your dark eye circles? I’ve hear this saying floating for years now and I never intend to try it until colour correctors became a thing in the Kbeauty world. The science behind this phenomenon is red neutralises the blue-green hues under most eyes. It’s more suited for lighter colour skin and you have to find the perfect shade of orange-red for your skin tone. 

After years of constant probe by the media, I finally give in and get myself an orange-red colour corrector. I was initially skeptical of this product for it have the ‘clicker-pen’ design that I don’t particularly like for my makeup always gets stuck in these pens. There’s no way to open the pen to salvage the remaining product so you eventually you’re the owner of a useless and expensive piece of brush.

However, I decided to give this a go because curiosity got the best of me. I was in awe. I never expected my dark eye circles to vanish so quickly. Normally I would have to apply a few layers of thick concealer to conceal them but with this color corrector as my base, all that was required was a thin layer of my usual concealer and I’m good to go. This have got to be the best makeup that I’ve purchased for a long time.

Althea Korea is known for its generous sales and freebies during a special occasion. In this occasion, I scored myself a free SIXTEEN Brickit Shadow Hit10 “Choco”. A full 16 colour eye shadow palette for free, plus it comes with a makeup brush.

It’s My Brush

I’m not particular about brands when it comes to products. As long as they work, I’m up for them. This is an angled brush for eye liners. For awhile, I see these “It’s my...” beauty accessories popping up everywhere so I decided to give them a try. I like it for the brush is soft and smooth. It’s also quite thin. It did not shed hair after washing it multiple times nor the handle shed its paint. I am still using this brush till date so I’m very content with it.

Elizavecca Hydro-gel Bouncy Eye Patch

I’ve used Elizavecca’s masks for years. The brand made an impression on me for one of their first mask I’ve used is the Milky Piggy Carbonated Clay Mask. It was such a fun mask to use. Thus, when Elizavecca Hydro-gel Bouncy Eye Patch come up with and eye mask, I did not hesitate to try. I was expecting slimy cold jelly-like masks but this mask only had gel on one side. It was not cool but it sticks onto the face without dropping. I’m not sure if it did anything to my under eyes for I only used them twice before abandoning it. I may use them again and give a thorough review but chances are not high.

Get it Beauty ceLABrity V Fit Mask

I touched about this Korean TV show and brand, Get it Beauty, multiple times on Ireviewuread and they came out witha V fit mask. This mask is supposed to help you pull your double chin upwards and make it less visible. It is also supposed to help making your chin a V shaped. I have yet to try it.

Nella Honey 1 Snail Multi Toning Essence 

This is a lazy person dream. It  works as a toner, lotion and essence. A 3-in-1, suitable for reducing your skincare steps. It contains honey extract. I gave this to my mother so that she can reduce the number of steps in her skincare routine.

Tea Toc Water Aloe Vera Soothing Gel

This Aloe Vera Gel contains 96% fresh Aloe Vera Extract and 99.9% real gold components for the skin’s elasticity. It is suitable for both skin and body. I have yet to try this.

Elizavecca Milky Piggy Sea Salt Cream

This is another Elizavecca’s product. It is made of clean Korean salt, pig shell collagen and it have whitening crease functionality. It have witch hazel extract and allantoin as well. This is a moisturiser and I have yet to try it.

Get It Beauty ceLABrity Velvet Cream

This is a body lotion that helps moisturize the skin. It is rose scented and light. I am currently using this body lotion. It have a velvety finish and helps moisturize the skin adequately. It is lightweighted and easy to spread. It is suitable for all skin types.

If you’re going to get a shower gel from Lush, this is the one to get. It has olive oil in it, making it more moisturizing. The scent is great; I love bergamot. Definitely not a “girly” scent, so I feel like the whole family would like it.

Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs, and Rosewater 🌹 

Overall very basic. I didn’t notice any particular effects from it. It made a nice aromatherapeutic facial spray for this hot weather.

Hempz Pomegranate Herbal Body Moisturizer 💕 

I like to use the Hempz lotions for nightly hand cream, because they dry down quickly on the hands. This time of year, I also find myself using this on my body. Lightweight with a lovely fruity scent.

I have a soft spot for snail in my skin care products. The packaging is adorable (its shaped like a snail)! Its also unscented, which is a bonus. However, it is silicone heavy. I find it pills easily on the skin. I would not repurchase this. But I will be keeping the little pink snail!
