Botw Champions X Knight Reader; HC’s
Tumblr media
Anon Request, “Hey can I get the BOTW champions with a bad ass, sorta like link knight. Like they don't really have any affiliation with anyone they just somehow started helping Zelda after she said they should. Also Love your writing and thanks!”
~Characters Chosen For Request:
Link, Revali, Urbosa
~xXx~
Link:
Link doesn’t question where or how you were knighted, but he is curious to know your skill set
at the end of the day, as long as you’re not an enemy he’s pretty chill with you and actually appreciates the extra support in helping protect Hyrule
definitely becomes your personal trainer and in turn real enjoys learning moves from you he doesn’t know
likes having someone who can understand him, and when the two of you become closer he’ll often confide in you about things he often keeps to himself since becoming Zelda’s appointed Knight and Hyrules Champion
understands how skilled you are in combat but can’t help still feeling worried or fearful of you being put in danger
has to do a self reboot when he sees you trying on his armor for shits and giggles, you not realizing that you basically made his brain go haywire
Revali:
first impression is somewhere along the lines of “Oh great. Another one.”
absolutely picks on you like he does with Link; like how can you be a Knight if you’re not part of any army?
only difference is that his rivalry with you vs with Link starts to turn into something more of the fun sort, like a friendly competition of who’s the better warrior
the more time passes, the more he finds himself impressed by not just your skills but your personality as well
he quite enjoys having someone who can quip back at him and finds the fire in your eyes somewhat adorable, not that he’d ever admit aloud
100% teaches you how to use a bow instead of just a sword; tells you he only does this because it would make your fights more even, totally not because he actually likes spending time with you or anything, don’t be ridiculous!
Urbosa:
finds it very charming your dedication to protect others despite not being apart of any corpse
she finds your skills admirable and after some time of observing, ask if you’d like to join her army
it’s a huge honor, no matter your gender, and she promises to make you an even more skilled knight under her wing than before
don’t expect her to go easy on you though just because she likes you, if anything she might even train you harder than others
it’s not to be an ass, it’s because she can see the potential that you possess as well as wanting to make sure you’re always safe incase she’s not there to help fight alongside you
Urbosa would absolutely craft you personal armor with different gems to aid you in your adventures
she thinks it’s very adorable when you offer to show her some of your own moves, ya know being an extremely skilled girl boss and all, but would never turn down spending such time with you at the end of the day

Revali x Reader Oneshot
Tumblr media
Reader has she/her pronouns
I love Revali sm so here's something from my super intense LoZ phase from last year
---
Your legs swung back and forth from your spot on the flight lading, as you watched the Rito champion swoop back and forth. You could watch Revali fly for hours on end and never get bored of his daring swoops and graceful spins. You had always been curious about what it was like up there, but your fear of heights kept you confined to the ground.
Suddenly, Revali flew back down to the landing, interrupting your daydreaming.
“As much as I enjoy you watching me in complete adoration, I think it’s time that you joined me up there,” Revali said, crossing his arms haughtily after landing.
You blushed at his words. “I can’t fly, Revali.”
“Well obviously,” the Rito scoffed. “Do you have the paraglider Princess Zelda gave you?” He asked, drawing closer to you.
“I, er, yes I do,” you said, checking that you still had it with you. You didn’t quite like where this was going.
“Good, you’ll use that, then.”
What?! The highest you had ever glided was from the top of a tree!
“But it’s so high up!” You said, not daring to peer over the landing.
“Don’t be foolish. I’ll be right beside you the whole time. I’m sure you’ll fare a better chance at success with Hyrule’s best flyer with you.”
Swallowing your nervousness, you nodded. “Alright, but stay with me the whole time, okay?”
Once you were sure Revali wasn’t trying to trick you for the purpose of watching a naive hylian gliding off into the Hebra frontier, you stood beside your friend on the landing.
“Make sure to hold on tight the entire time, and keep your body steady so you can steer the glider,” Revali said, making sure you were ready.
“Okay, I think I can do it,” you said, shivering from both fear and the chilly air. Taking in a deep breath, you focused your gaze on the horizon instead of the bottomless darkness below you, you stepped off of the landing while holding onto your paraglider for dear life.
After a few seconds, you realized that it was working and you suddenly didn’t feel as scared anymore. Almost immediately, Revali appeared right beside you, steadily riding the wind. “Very good!” He praised in the most genuine way you had ever heard from him.
Ignoring your stomach doing a back flip, you smiled giddily as you continued to glide, the wind blowing in your face pleasantly. This was much more fun than you had imagined.
“Let’s get you a bit higher!” The champion said, suddenly taking a dive towards the ground.
For a minute you lost sight of him and panic began to set in. Where was that stupid bird?
Then, the soaring form of Revali shot up into the sky in front of you, creating a gust of wind that carried you upwards. You laughed with amazement as he kept you up in the sky, and he was soaring alongside you once again.
Shifting his gaze from the horizon and onto you, Revali felt the smallest smile appear on his face. You were a natural. Not that he doubted your abilities, of course, but many hylians tended to prefer their feet on the ground. You, however, looked like you belonged in the sky.
Suddenly, your voice broke him out of his stupor. “Revali? How do I land?”
Oops. The rito champion had forgotten to tell you how to land.
The moment your legs hit the snowy ground, you went rolling into the snow.
Revali gasped and swooped in to land by your side. “(Y/n)? (Y/n), are you alright?” He asked, frantically brushing snow off of you.
You, however, were laughing happily, even though you were covered in snow and slightly sore from your tumble. “That was amazing! I never knew I could do that!”
Revali’s concern washed away only to be replaced with relief and maybe a twinge of annoyance. “You had me worried, you silly girl.”
Taking the wing he offered, you lifted yourself up, still grinning excitedly. “We have to do this again,” you insisted, your cheeks and the tips of your ears flushed red from the cold and the rush of excitement you felt.
“Eager, are we? I’m rather surprised at your persistence considering you just fell into about four feet of snow,” Revali said, rolling his eyes at your determination.
“Oh. Right,” you said, brushing the last of the snow off of yourself. “We should probably head back for the village.”
“Hmm, are you sure? If we wait long enough, you might turn a rather nice shade of blue,” the rito beside you said, observing your shivering form.
You gave him a mischievous smile. “Oh really? That sure would be unfortunate.”
A few of Revali’s royal blue feathers puffed up, and he made a move to take off. “Well, if that’s how you’re going to be…”
“Wait! C’mon, Revali, I was joking around. Take me back to the village!” You near-begged to your companion, who seemed to be considering your request.
“Fine. You win, little Hylian,” Revali said, slightly stooping so you could climb on his back.
It never failed to surprise you how the proud Rito had started to let you fly on his back. When you first met him, he would always make you walk back to wherever you came from, swooping away before anyone could protest. But after a while, he would offer you rides on his back. Just you.
Though no one would ever admit it, the rito villagers would always think of what a strange duo you two made. The princess’s diplomatic assistant and the rito champion. You had been making more visits to the village, unable to curb your fascination. Many of the villagers were quite fond of you due to how much more pleasant Revali acted in your presence.
You climbed on to the champion’s back, giving him a small “ready” when you were situated.
Your first time on his back, you had been so afraid of falling off you found some of Revali’s feathers in your hand whenever you had landed. That had earned you quite the scolding. But now, you had no fear of slipping off, and you had even gotten to the point where you could sit up straight. This had caused the Rito to mutter something about “not being your horse,” but you didn’t mind.
Still cold from your fall, you leaned down closer to your companion, as he was the closest source of heat. His soft feathers provided plenty of warmth and soon you were laying down completely on his back.
You didn’t notice it but Revali had to hold back a squawk of surprise. Your hum of contentment at being so close to him shot his heart rate up to a level that only the dangers of battle could replicate. For the remainder of the journey back to the village the rito made sure to soar as smoothly as possible, even making a few circles around the village, just to spend some more time with you. Not that he would ever admit that, though.
After your departure, Revali’s thoughts were clouded by the memory of your smile, laughter, and promise to return soon. The inn you were staying at in the closest village wasn’t very far, but his heart ached strangely when he watched you leave. To his annoyance and a bit of embarrassment, some other ritos asked about you teasingly, saying that they’d never seen Revali act so gently toward a Hylian. Revali would scoff and deny anything his fellow villagers try to insinuate, but when he lay in bed that night, trying to go to sleep, he still could not fight off the image of you in his head.
As he tossed and turned, Revali found himself submitting to this new, unfamiliar feeling. Eventually, the thing that got him to sleep was the memory of your warmth against him as the two of you soared through the cold winds of Hebra.

My Forest spirit
A legend of Zelda BOTW/TOTK Yandere x Reader. This is obviously cannon divergent. Fem!Y/N is short and Curvy in this, and is often described with long hair. This story will contain NSFW!scenes, violence and profanity. MDNI
Next Chapter
Tumblr media
Chapter 1: My knight in shinning armour
“Yahaha you found me!” A little Korok laughed as I stared down at him.
My ears twitched excitedly as it jumped up into my arms. The little forest spirits loved me. They always have. I grew up in this forest after my mother left me here. The clothes on my back are woven from fronds the Koroks brought me and I just ran around barefoot. I’ve only ever seen anyone like me once. He wore a cloak and was muttering about stopping the “princess” whatever that means.
A group of Koroks ran past my legs as the shaking of maracas grew closer. Their behaviour startled me, they shouldn’t fear Hestu… they’re a close friend of all of us.
“Sister Y/N! There are people, we must hide!”
I was dragged behind a tree as Hestu’s humming grew louder. Strange clacking noises grew closer, as well as other voices.
“I can’t believe you of all people will wield the Master Sword!”
“Revali ease up on Link, he’s a wonderful knight to me!” A feminine voice called back.
My eyes widened at the voices! No one ever enters the forest, what are they here for? What is a… Master Sword? I watched from behind the tree and the silent man in the middle of the group glanced in my direction. My large frond mask was still covering my face, so I scurried behind the tree with the other Koroks. They continued further into the forest and I ran between trees to watch them. As they approached the centre of the forest, I realised what they had come for, the strange thing in the ground. So that’s what it’s called, the Master Sword.
The silent one stepped forward and grabbed the hilt of the ancient blade. He grunted in pain as he pulled it up out of the ground and held it above his head proudly. I watched him from atop a tree, eyes wide and excited. Based off of Hestu’s cheers, this must be an amazing accomplishment. I should cheer too.
I clapped excitedly as the Koroks beside me seemed confused but then joined me in celebration. The group gasped and looked up to where we were, drawing these strange objects from their backs. Hestu gasped and ran in front of them.
“NO NO! Weapons down, you can’t hurt Sister Y/N!”
Weapons? My eyes widened beneath the mask as I slid to be hidden by the leaves. One of the women step forward, her tan skin and deep crimson hair complimented by the deep green of the Forrest. She placed her curved blade on the floor and held her hands up beside her head.
“Please don’t run dear, we had no idea you were friend not foe. The war has everyone incredibly stressed.”
“War?” I mutter, poking my head out of the leaves.
Hestu looks up at me and laughs gesturing for me to jump down. I slid off of the tree and landed on the stone beside Hestu. They shake their maracas happily as I smile at them beneath my mask. The woman who had spoken to me seemed shocked, I’m unsure why though.
“Ah… my apologies for staring, that was rude. My name is Urbosa, I’m assuming you’re Y/N.”
I nod as a few Koroks come and stand beside my legs, watching the group closely and protectively.
“This is Sister Y/N! She’s a spirit of the forest like the Koroks and I!” Hestu happily said.
“Sister? She’s clearly not anything like you all! She looks like your average Hylian!” The strange bird person yelled.
The large man behind him slapped him on the back. He winced but stayed quiet as the blonde woman stepped forward.
“I’m so sorry for us startling you Y/N. We had to retrieve the Master Sword to help win the war against Ganon. Do you… live here? What are you wearing?”
“Fronds.”
“Ah, so you do speak. I suppose you’re like Link then, he only speaks around his friends.”
“Link?”
“Yes, he’s my knight, the one with the Master Sword.”
“Master… I used to..”
“Did you guard the sword?” She asked.
“No, I used to use the zappies it made to start my campfires! How am I meant to start fires now?” I frown, jabbing the man beside her.
He just pulled a strange rock from his pocket and place it in my hand. I raised a brow and he pulled out a second, striking it against the stone on the floor and lighting a stick on fire nearby.
“Whoa! Pocket campfire! Fair trade fair trade!” I hold the rock in my hand in wonder, removing my mask to get a better look at it.
The man before me just stared straight at my face before grabbing my wrist.
“Huh? You can’t have it back, it was a trade!”
He just grunted and pulled me up off the ground and held me over his shoulder. One hand held the Master Sword while the other rested on the bump of my behind. The breeze ran right through me as his hand rhythmically squeezed. Is this how people interact? The Koroks don’t really have hands… maybe it’s to make sure I wouldn’t fall.
“Link! That’s inappropriate!”
“Hyaa!” He began to run, his grip becoming tighter as began to slip and held him in fear.
“LINK!”
“SISTER Y/N! Awww, maybe it’s good she sees the outside world, look after her.” Hestu sighed.
“Of course, we will,” Urbosa answered. Running to catch up with the others who were chasing Link.
Tumblr media
New Yandere gained, Link.
Hey look at you, you managed to capture the knights heart! Now time for some facts about your new Yandere. (basically head cannons)
It's no surprise that Link is incredibly protective over you, he would let Zelda die if it meant he could ensure your safety.
He's also very physically affectionate. He must always have at least one hand on you and when he hasn't for a long time... He tends to get very handsy.
He gives you plenty of kisses the moment that people stop looking. If he feels like someone is moving in on his “territory” he will just begin groping you from behind until they get the message.

Note
Could you do Yandere BOTW Champions or TOTK Sages x Reader who has the Mask from Majora’s Mask? The reader is Hylian. But they have the usual four mask, Plus the Fierce Deity mask.
As head cannons preferably.
This is a mostly Linked Universe Blog, but sure! I'm not overly well versed on the whole Mask deal, so please bare with me.
I went with the BOTW Champions, since not everyone knows the sages.
Champion of the Masks
Tumblr media
・❥・So, if you know the Champions, there's a good chance you are a knight or warrior in your own right.
・❥・You are someone powerful, probably because of said masks. For Hylia's sake, you have the Fierce Deity looking over you. You are practically untouchable.
・❥・And the other Champions are well aware of this fact. But that doesn't change anything.
・❥・Because you are still so vulnerable. What happens when you're separated from your masks? Then what? Hm? You are just so vulnerable, can't you see that?
・❥・You don't have any powers of the wind, not any form of protection. You can't control any elements, nor can you heal. You certainly don't have any part of the triforce. You are powerless.
・❥・Which is why they needed to be there to protect you!
・❥・Now, Revali. My loveable douche-bird. He tries to keep you at a distance, but still falls. And he falls hard. Revali is the only champion who wasn't born with his gift. He had to build Revali's gale into what it was from scratch.
・❥・Reader probably recognizes all of his hard work, because (and this is from my very limited research) to get all of the Masks in their possession? A bitch and a half. They weren't gifted these masks. Not without a price. So they can recognize a situation where you are pitted against these...demi-gods eons beyond your own abilities and forced to catch up or fall behind.
・❥・And Revali absolutely cherishes this. Having someone not look down on him, but instead stand on the very same footing he was? Man's is down bad.
・❥・He is particularly fond of your Breman Mask because you just look so pretty in feathers. And while yes, white looked nice on you, blue looked better.
・❥・I HC that every race has their own form of courting rituals, Rito included. They probably make their intended betrothed some sort of snow-quill headpiece meant for the cold, lined with their feathers and intricate braids of fine silks and expensive ribbons.
・❥・You just know that Revali, as a champion, would make a nice courting present. And you just know he is purposefully difficult and makes everyone else come to him in the Rito village (He is their best warrior and is shown to lead their army in AoC). You just know that he demands the princess bring her two best knights, which begrudgingly means Link, but it also means you. You who wears the snowquill bit with pride-- even if you don't know what if means really.
・❥・It doesn't matter because the others do.
・❥・The next one to fall is Urbosa.
・❥・She falls after seeing you in battle. The Gerudo, regardless of gender, can respect a Warrior when they see one. And you are a warrior. You with your sharp wit and insane reaction times, parrying a blade aimed for her.
・❥・Your strength alone makes her swoon because out of everything she can respect that.
・❥・Her favorite mask of yours is the Garo's mask. Not only does it fool these supposed Garo (You are so smart, did you know that? With all of your stories and journeys.), but it also fools the Yiga. The Mask of Truth does as well, but the thought of spilling her guts to you makes her uneasy.
・❥・Not because she doesn't want you to know how constantly you're running through her head, but she doesn't want you to know how deep these thoughts delve.
・❥・When you're able to fool the Yiga and get back to her about an ambush planned on her people, she knows you're the one.
・❥・I like to imagine the Gerudo focus more on jewelry for a courting action. Not rings, no. But intricate pieces of armor lined with gems aimed to aid in battles.
・❥・Brigandines lined with topaz; Gorgets lined with opals; spaulders ordained in rubies; Poleyn decorated in sapphires. Even your own Scmitar enhanced by diamonds. All of it custom made to you to show her devotion to you.
・❥・Now, with this being all useful items you can wear in battle, you're seen in it often.
・❥・Daruk is next. He falls for you after seeing you in his, coincidentally, favorite mask. You tell the tale of the Goron Mask after he asks, weaving this intricate legend that had him hanging onto every word.
・❥・The Gorons show their love through food. So Daruk makes it a point to constantly share his food, both sedimentary and otherwise. He loves knowing that you are well fed and cared for because of him.
・❥・I feel like the highest form of love that can be shown through food for a Goron is a Prime Rock Roast. And while he knows Hylian's can't eat rocks (Link excluded because...it's Link), he looks for the next best thing.
・❥・Intricate pasties filled with only the finest of whipped cream and dusted with powdered sugar; dripping roasts just oozing juice that practically fall of the bone; grilled fish where the smell alone is enough to make you sallivate
・❥・All of it are gifted to you to ensure you think of him whenever you feel hungry. That he is your go to.
・❥・Now, next is a tie between Link and Zelda.
・❥・Zelda probably falls first because she sees you interacting with the others and watches you. In fact, you watch her back. But the difference between you watching her and Link watching her, because her father has allowed you to take over for Link on the rare occasion, is that you give her space. You allow her to disappear into the divine beasts, waiting patiently for her to come to you.
・❥・You entertain her with stories upon stories.
・❥・You listen to her woes with a careful ear and offer your own advice.
・❥・You even braved her cooking.
・❥・She loves all of your masks and cherishes each story about them. But when you wear the Great Fairy Mask and let fairies tickle her cheeks? That's when she swoons the most.
・❥・Link falls during all the time he spends with you chasing after Zelda. You're able to hold your own, which is always appreciated, and you're okay with silence. Silence settles between you two often while waiting for Zelda and you don't push it.
・❥・And you don't look at him like he's anything other than a Hylian. Not the wielder of the sword that seals the darkness.
・❥・Not this random knight that was handed a legacy on a plate.
・❥・Not an annoyance that needed to be shook off,
・❥・He was just Link to you. And it made his heart sing.
・❥・Unfortunately, neither are quite in the position to court you. Not with Calamity on the horizon, nor with their standings in the royal council. And it tears them apart in the inside. Seeing you decked out in jewels with feathers woven into your hair, eating some of the finest things Hyrule has to offer, all of it makes them bitter and hungry. Hungry to show how you belong to them.
・❥・You get prefential treatment in the castle. The finest of rooms with the softest of sheets. Plump pillows and too many locks on the door to keep you right where she wants satin pajamas, all just for your enjoyment.
・❥・Or the best weapons and shields available to the royal guard. Bows re-strung just for you, or the lion's share of arrows provided. Want that Shield that Jimmy Whosit has? Give Link three minutes. No, there's no blood on the shield, what are you talking about? You must exhausted if you're seeing things, maybe you should just skip training all together?
・❥・It's all yours.
・❥・Now, the last person to fall, is Mipha. She's very hesitant to lend her heart out to you, but you know who isn't afraid of showing their emotions on their sleeves for everyone to see?
・❥・Sidon.
・❥・Sidon, in all his little fishy glory, loves you when you come around. when you dawn the Zora mask and swim with him. You play all the games that Mipha won't because they're 'too dangerous'. So when you come around he's ecstatic, dragging his sister down to see you alongside him.
・❥・Mipha tolerates you for the time being, probably still in love with a different knight, making him his own armor. But after she finishes it, it's no longer shaped to Link's form. No. Somewhere along the way it went from being formed to his broader shoulders to being shortened to your own narrower set. It no longer was long enough to fit his torso, instead fitted to your own.
・❥・Her heart had tainted her hands, making armor for you before she even knew what it all meant. The only reason the rest of her catches up is because she sees you with Sidon.
・❥・She watches you swim on you back, with Sidon clinging to your chest, laughter bubbling up from both of you.
・❥・And the last of them falls.
・❥・She aims to give you the armor after the fall of the calamity, but...I'm sure we all know how that'll play out...
・❥・Anyway, between them all, you get very little time to yourself. They are all constantly hovering over you.
・❥・You think you can get away with one of your masks?
・❥・Nice try.
・❥・Your precious Stone Mask? Gone. Confiscated under the order of Princess Zelda King Rhoam.
・❥・Think you can fight your way out?
・❥・Not even the Fierce Deity mask can save you from the champions, their Divine Beasts, and the Triforce of Wisdom and Courage, nor their wielders.
・❥・You wanna run and hide?
・❥・There is not a single inch of Hyrule that one of them doesn't know about.
・❥・You are well and truly trapped under their hold, just where they like you.
・❥・Trapped like a fucking bird in a cage while they fight amongst themselves to see who you stay with.
・❥・ Let's hope they decided quickly before the Calamity decides he's done being patient.

His Little Grace
Prince Sidon x Hylian hyperfem! reader
Fic description: As Ganon’s minions infiltrate the Zora Domain, you, a weary, small, gentle traveler, are caught in a rut, on the brink of death, not being able to face creatures corrupted by the calamity on your own. The kind prince of Zora, Sidon, accompanies you, protecting you from the monsters. The two of you eventually are drawn into something more…
Tw: 18+ MINORS DNI, shark anatomy, omegaverse biology, breeding kink, sub-coded/super bottom hyperfeminine reader, SIZE kink, kind of non-canon breath of the wild, protective sidon, damsel in distress trope, rough sex, shark love bites, some sidon x link as well, pls reblog and help a writer out!!

It was a rainy morning in the Zora Domain, 7 o’clock to be exact. The rain battered alongside the icy pathways, the waves crashed below. The King, Dorephan, sat on his throne, concerned due to the noises heard outside the domain. The King has summoned some of his attendants and soldiers, including Link, the Hylian Champion. The King voiced his concerns to the group, saying that the noises sound like an attack on the kingdom; possibly Vah Ruta and guardians back under Ganon’s control. Link volunteers to go inspect the area outside the domain, in Upland Zorana. Sidon burst through the archway.
Father! What horrible news! I have heard that Ganon is possibly attacking the kingdom again! It is preposterous! Let me know what I can do to protect the kingdom!,” the shark smiles, winking and flexing his bicep, his signature look. “My son. Perhaps you can swim down the river, and see what is in the Lananryu Wetlands, closer to Central Hyrule, near the entrance to our domain,” the King suggests. “Of course,” Sidon agrees, and bids a goodbye to Link, whom he did have relations with. Sidon would never admit due to his pride, that he had a soft spot for Hylians. They were so tiny, so soft. The opposite of him. Link was his best friend, and sometimes lover. Link was a beta, however. Sidon, as an alpha, really yearned for a Hylian that was an omega. He wanted to feel one, experience being with one. As biology said, alphas and omegas were made for each other, regardless of race in Hyrule. Same or interspecies, it did not matter. Yet, Sidon failed to find a female, omega, counterpart to his sweet Link’s beauty.
He waved to Link, telling him to be safe, before watching him use Revali’s Gale to fly up into Upland Zorana. Sidon swam down the river, watching as electric Lizalfos, electric chu-chus, and golden bokoblins prowled around the plains, at the side of the river. “So many monsters…,” he thought to himself, swimming faster, hoping not to run into them. He swam to the bridge at the outskirts of Tabahl Woods. He saw a crowd of Black moblins, shrieking, with Dragonbone weapons, attacking something on the ground. He looked a little closely, barely visible to the monsters. He saw that they were attacking a Hylian. A very small one at that. He growled, jumping onto the bridge, facing the moblins, and took a few of them out swiftly, using his muscles and sharp teeth.
After throwing the last moblin down into the waterfall, Sidon comes closer to inspect the Hylain, to see if they were okay. A sickeningly sweet smell has hit him. He crouched down, taking a closer look. A very small Hylian woman, laying on the bridge, gravely wounded. Her blood, her body, smelled so good to him… could it be? An omega?
He stops his dirty mind from trampling him, and gently picks up the Hylian. Placing her in his arms, he swims up the river as fast as he could, eager to get her into the domain, so she could be properly healed and taken care of.
He reaches the domain, swimming up the waterfall, careful not to drown the woman. “Somebody! Please help! I have found an injured Hylian!!,” he shouts, and at instant, a few other Zora take her away to heal with herbs, in the lower chambers of the kingdom. Sidon meets back with Link, glad that he is okay, giving him a few kisses as well.
“My Link. I think I have found an omega. What should I do?! I am a bit worried!!,” Sidon shouts at him, the little man looking at the shark with a smirk.
“See if the chemistry is right, when she wakes up. If it is, perhaps then you could mate with her, for real, unlike you and I,” Link sheepishly tells him.
“Yes! Link! You are amazing! A genius! An absolute marvel!!,” Sidon shouts at him, giving Link his signature smirk and wink, and hugging him before running off to check on the Hylian he just rescued.
“My dear. Are you okay?,” he leans over the woman, his large shadow covering her small one. She moans in pain, looking up at him. “I think I’m okay now, yes. Who are you?,” her voice was small and shy, quiet. She meekly looked at him with her beautiful green eyes. Sidon blushed, loving how soft her voice was.
“Quickly, young one. Tell me your name.” The woman tells him. “Lily.” “Ah. What a beautiful name that is. I am Sidon, Prince of the Zora. I was making my round down the Zora River, when I saw you being beaten by monsters on Inogo Bridge!!,” he exclaimed, clearly worried for the young woman.
“I should have been more careful,” the woman replied, slightly blushing.
——-
You had been beaten by Moblins, and were about to meet your end, when you feltl a strong presence lift you up, carrying you up the Zora River, up a waterfall. You did not know who that was, yet you were extremely grateful. You awoke to a beautiful Zorana leaning over you. His smile, his voice, his muscles. You loved it.
Best of all, it seemed like he was an alpha. You could tell right away. This is who you had been searching for.
You had been born in a Hylian village off the coast, Luteno Village, full of Betas. The only other Alpha in the village was already mated — to a Beta. They did not have heats, ruts, pheromones. Sometimes, you wished to be one of them. Oh how easier it would be. Omegas were weaker than most, softer. This did not do you any good, especially in the calamity — so many monsters around. What options did you have?
Therefore, you left your small, coastal fishing village in hopes of finding a mate, a lover. You traveled up the Zora River, into Shatterback Point, up mountains, in the rain, in a thunderstorm. The time could have finally come. You were positive that whoever saved you, this ‘Prince Sidon’, was an Alpha. Further, he was royalty.
The size difference between you two was massive. You nervously watched as his clawed hand rested near your body. His palm was the size of your entire arm.
“My dear. Are you alright? You look positively out of it,” the handsome prince spoke to you. You replied that you were, which then coincided with him asking what you were doing in the area.
“Well, you see, Prince Sidon, I came here to find a mate. In Luteno Village, most of the people are Betas — normal. I’m a little helpless on my own, you see, with the calamity and all. I’m not strong enough to fight these monsters. I don’t even think that Omegas and Alphas are common in all of the kingdom of Hyrule…,” you trail off, a bit sad.
The shark grinned back at you, with a knowing yet gentle smile. “My dear. You see, they aren’t that common in the land of Zora either. Alpha and Omega pairs used to be more common before the calamity. All of our Zorai, they are mated pairs, since we usually have very long life spans. Except for me, of course.”
You nod, starting to realize what he was implying. You were sure that he was able to sense the tension between you. You had read, in an old book your grandmother owned, written before the calamity, that just each other’s presence can indicate true love between an Alpha and Omega. You hoped that your late grandmother’s book was right.
“Lily. I want to ask you something, sweet pearl,” Sidon starts. Perhaps, once you feel better, I can show you around the village?,” his yellow eyes look hopeful, bashful, even. A prince, paying attention to you. You were over the moon, and so, you obliged.
—-
Just in a few days, the Zora had healed you. You spent more and more time with the Prince every day, whom you now called Sidon. After a week, Sidon had asked you to accompany him for a nightly swim. The two of you had started doing that ever since you had healed.
You loved how fast he was in the water, how gentle he was with you on his back. Most of all, you loved how big he was. <3
Sidon took you into the lake next to the domain, and up the Veiled Falls. The two of you sat on the luminous stone filled dock, tension between the two of you rising. Sidon tapped his sharp nails upon the dock, nervous on what to say.
“What is it?,” you asked, putting a concerned hand on his shoulder, which made him flinch. “My Pearl. Lily. I have gotten to know you over the past week or so. You are truly amazing! I have never met a Hylian such as yourself before! This is a personal question to ask..yet.. are you possibly looking for something more than safety , here in the Zora Domain?”
You wince, deciding to tell him the truth. “I came here to look for a mate, Sidon. I’m an omega. They aren’t very common after the calamity,” you look down as you say it. Perhaps he has an arranged marriage already.
“My Lily. I am so glad to hear you say that!” He looked enthusiastic suddenly. “You see, I am one of the only other Alphas in this town myself! Everyone else is male or female, just a Beta. You are right, sweet Pearl! How clever you are,” he praises you.
You blush as he compliments you. He moves a bit closer to you. His clawed hand gently holds your head. “You and I, my pearl. I think you’re the most adorable little Hylian I’ve ever seen. The fact that you’re an omega — that is just even more precious and intriguing to me. Be my mate, sweet pearl,” he gently asks of you, yellow eyes full of passion.
You agree, giggling as he brings you in for a kiss. He was gentle with you, although you could feel his sharp teeth grazing your lips. You kiss him back with passion, you feel your lip start to bleed because of his sharp teeth. The two of you are inextricably close now, and his two hands easily grip your hips, almost as long as your whole torso. He gently moves you closer to him, although you can feel his sharp claws pierce your soft tummy.
His smell, his lips, his eyes, all of it was intoxicating. In your grandmother’s book, you have read that those with ‘sexual variance’ (gender classified as omega or alpha — instead of male or female (what Betas had) have greater chances for passionate and intricate sexual and romantic relations. It was biology, after all.
You press your smaller body closer to him, your softness against his rougher skin. You traced your small hands over his torso, his wide shoulders <3 as you could feel him moan into your mouth. He pulls away for a second, manhandling you onto his lap, where you felt a rather big bulge forming already..<3
“You know, sweet one…I have always hoped to find someone with sexual variance… a little omega I could have all for myself, to love, to breed…,” his voice seemed much lower now, you swore you could hear a growl behind it. “Make me yours then,” you softly reply back, gazing into his yellow eyes.
He smirks, and then uses those strong muscles of his to pin you onto the ground. A trail of wet kisses is left all over your face, your neck, your breasts, which he cups so gently, mindful of his claws, your hips. He asks if he can take off your clothes. You nod, and he does so, careful not to rip them with his claws.
“My little grace smells so good for me,” he chuckles darkly. “That’s all you wanted, hmm? A strong alpha to come breed you, claim you…,” he whispers, his sharp teeth grazing your lips. You nod. “Please, Sidon. Want it, please…,” you beg him, doe eyes meeting his.
“You know, my little love…Zora actually have two cocks. I wonder how they’ll fit inside my Pearl…,” he chuckles, bringing you in for another kiss. There you were, caged in his arms, your small hands around his large, bulging biceps, and you can feel him start to grind into you for a bit, before his cocks spring up, all hard, veiny. You almost drool, yet you stop yourself.
You have read in your grandmother’s book that alphas have bigger cocks than betas, than omegas. They have superior strength too…
You stare in awe as the Zora runs his clawed hand over his cocks, over his ball sack, all full and ready to burst!! “Sidon. Please, want it in me,” you beg of him, pathetically reaching up to him like a little girl would to her father.
“I’ll give you anything you ask for, little Pearl. So sweet…,” he moans, and with that, you see him gently line up his two cocks to your already soaking, wet, pussy. You wonder how his sharp teeth would feel on it … <3
“Sidon. I’ve never.. never had this before…,” you tell him shyly. He reassures you with a few kisses. “I will be gentle, little love. You will get used to it, you will want more. Don’t know how long I have been waiting for an omega, all to myself,” his grin showcased his row of sharp teeth, scaring and making you want him more at the same time.
You were ready. He gently began to push his pulsating cocks into you. The stretch hurt, yet since you were wet, you were ready for him. You could take it. He pushed in little by little, and the deeper he went, the more delirious you got. His cocks just stuffed you up so perfectly!! <3
Your eyes met his, your soft hands ran alongside his cheeks, his fins on his head. He has you in a mating press, and you could swear you were seeing doubles from how nicely his cocks filled you. Your eyes began to roll back into your head, as you drift away from the world, and solely focused on the moment: him.
“My sweet Pearl. Doing so well, my love. Taking these big cocks so nicely, can’t wait to breed you, my Pearl, have you carry my heir…,” he moaned out, just as delirious as you were. You were his prey, to be caught, bred, owned by him!! “Please, my prince, Sidon, please!!,” you squealed, eager to agree to everything he was saying, due to how earth shatteringly amazing you felt right now.
“Mate me. Claim me. Please, sir,” you beg him, a moment of clarity in your delirium. He smirks in response, giving you a little (sharp) love bite on your shoulder. “My pleasure, my little love.”
He starts rutting into you, faster, your little body shakes and you have to hold onto him as tightly as you could muster, burying yourself in the crook of his neck. You see stars, with his throbbing cocks inside you, you’ve never felt something be so right. You feel them twitch, and with screams from the both of you, you come at the same time.
You feel his hot seed spill into you, filling you.
You fall asleep in his arms after a bit of cuddling, and he gently takes you back to the Domain, to the palace, into his private chambers. You were his now. His mate, his little grace.

Chapter 1 is now up on Wattpad, A03, and below the break

Wattpad AO3
The ballroom was filled with laughter and music. The moonlight streamed down through the windows on the festivities. You straightened your crown, trying to make sure you looked just right in your reflection on the window. Tonight was going to be special; you just knew it.
The music swelled with a flourish of the violins. People glided across the polished marble floors, twirling to the beautiful piece. You could see your best friend, the royal poet and maestro Sharpe, absolutely beaming as he conducted the orchestra.
You let your eyes wander over the crowd. Your father, King Rhoam, was stoic as ever, watching from his own corner. Princess Zelda, your younger sister, was happily chatting with Robbie and Purah, no doubt sharing research notes. Impa and Mipha were laughing over drinks while little Sidon chowed down on snacks. Revali was attempting to dance with the ambassador from Hytopia, but it was impossible to tell who was worse at it. Daruk was drinking each of the castle guards under the table. Apparently, none of them ever heard that Gorons were unaffected by Hylian liquor. Your heart swelled with happiness, though it still felt a little empty without the one who was most important to you.
“Waiting on someone, sparrow?” Urbosa asked, gently laying a hand on your shoulder. She had a knowing glint in her eye as she sipped her Noble Pursuit.
“You wouldn’t have happened to-”
“I believe I saw him walking towards the Sanctum.” Your heart skipped a beat, and you were ready to run upstairs, but Urbosa’s grip held you back. “Don’t get into trouble, sparrow. You still need to make an appearance later tonight.”
You blushed but nodded. “Of course, you know I’m always professional.”
“Of course,” Urbosa said. She brushed a stray bit of your hair back and smoothed some wrinkles off your coat. “Go, I’ll cover for you.”
You barely got out a “thank you” before dashing out of the ballroom to the stairs. The music grew fainter and fainter as you made your way up the castle. A giddy bubble of happiness felt ready to burst out of your chest. You were Prince [Y/n] Daltus Hyrule, Lord of Akkala, Order of the Picori, Colonel in the Grand Hylian Army, Defender of the Holy Triforce, and Champion of the Goddess Din – but the most important title of all was Boyfriend of the Hylian Champion. Reaching the top of the steps, you pushed the doors open as quietly as you could.
“Link?” you called out. The torches were all lit inside, but all was quiet. You shut the door and entered. “Link? Are you here?”
No response.
You frowned, walking past the thrones, ignoring how the shadows danced on the walls. Suddenly, a wooden training sword clattered to the ground right at your feet. You looked up, seeing the knight grinning from the upper floor. “Oh, you’re on!”
You picked up the sword – slightly upset it was a single handed one instead of your preferred claymore – and mounted the stairs, charging up to the hidden lounge above the Sanctum. Link met you halfway, your swords clashing with a dull thonk. You drove him backwards up the stairs, slash after slash. Link laughed with each one, parrying them effortlessly.
The two of you clashed, when you saw your chance. You parried his blows, and…
…pulled the small rug from under him. Before he could get up, you pointed your sword at his chest. “Finally!” You shouted. “I win!”
“One out of – what, a thousand?” Your knight grinned.
You shrugged. “Hey, I’ll take it.” You helped him up and pulled him into a hug. “You didn’t get hurt when you fell right?”
“No, I’m fine,” he laughed. “Takes more than a practical joke to hurt a knight, your majesty.”
You took his hand and started leading him downstairs. “We should head back before Father gets upset.” You reached for the door but stopped. Someone was standing on the balcony overlooking Hyrule Field.
“Hello?” You let go of Link’s hand as you walked over to the balcony. The music seemed to fade away as you got closer. The figure didn’t seem familiar. “Oh, pardon me, but all guests should be downstairs. I’d be happy to show you the way.”
“There’s no need for that, I’ve been waiting for you,” a rumbling baritone voice said. The figure turned, revealing a wall of a man with a piercing glare. It felt like he could see you through to your soul. Your head throbbed with a migraine. For some reason, your left hand – the hand emblazoned with the mark of the Triforce of Power – felt like it was burning.
“Who are you?”
The moonlight turned a bloodstained red. “Of course you would forget me, but I certainly haven’t forgotten you and your treachery.” He reached out, firmly gripping your chin and tilting your head up to look you in the eyes. Panic rose in your throat looking into his glowing red and yellow eyes. He let out a low rumble of a laugh. “Don’t worry, I’ll be seeing you soon to take what is rightfully mine, little prince.”
The world swam and grew dark as a terrible laugh filled your ears. A scream tore from your throat. Pain shot through your body…
==
“[Y/n]! [Y/n]!!” Link shook you gently. “It’s okay! I’m here, I’m here…”
You gasped for air, looking up to see your handsome knight looking down at you. He wrapped you in his arms. “It’s okay, it’s just a nightmare. You’re going to be okay.”
You held him close, not caring how tangled you were in the sheets. It was still late, and the moon hung outside your window – thankfully still its normal pale color.
Your heart slowed as Link held you and stroked your hair. “Big spoon or little spoon?”
You told him your preference, and the two of you shifted to a more comfortable cuddling position. “It was the same dream,” you finally said.
“The royal ball and the stranger?”
“Yeah,” you said. “He knew me. I… I don’t know how to explain it but looking at him felt like… pure evil… It was almost like the Calamity.”
Link nodded. “Do you want to go talk to Symin about it? He helped Zelda when she had those nightmares last year.”
“Maybe,” you said. “I’m just confused. He knew me, Link. He said he was going to take what was ‘rightfully his’.”
“I’m sure it’s just a silly dream, but…” Link frowned and pressed his hand to your forehead. “Hmm doesn’t seem like a fever, but maybe the gloom is getting to you.”
“It’s not the gloom,” you said, pushing his hand away. “Maybe I’m stressed out? Maybe… maybe I’m just missing them.”
Link sighed. “I miss them too.”
“I did beat you this time though.”
Link snorted. “So, you’re saying you can only beat me in your dreams?”
“Shut up,” you laughed.
The two of you stayed quiet for a moment, just enjoying the cuddling. It was hard to believe it had been five years. Five years since you woke up in a cave, five years since you found Link without his memories, and five years since the two of you saved Hyrule and your sister. The life of the “lost prince” was never dull with Hyrule’s greatest swordsman as your boyfriend and Princess Zelda as your sister. The three of you had helped to rebuild most of Hyrule, bringing the people back together and creating a semblance of a government. Your New Hyrule Trading Company was now run through the Stable Association, a union-run business, giving you more time to train the new militia taking care of monsters across the land – not to mention helping your sister run things. “Helping” may be a bit generous, as Zelda was much more suited to academics than government and diplomacy. Most of the time, you and Link helped to set treaties and lead major reconstruction projects while Zelda focused more on educating Hyrule’s children and surveying old ruins.
Everything had been going well for a time, until a few months ago. Certain caves and old wells began to leak an odd crimson mist. At first, it seemed harmless, but then the sickness came. There were a few isolated cases that seemed to clear up quickly, but over the past few weeks, reports were getting worse. The mist was only growing thicker and more toxic. Purah named it the gloom, and it seemed to be tied to the malice that Calamity Ganon once produced. The difference was that this gloom was toxic and lingering. It seemed to seep from underground, though no one could figure out where or why. The worst of it came from the depths of Hyrule Castle. Whatever it touched, it devoured in decay. Your pride and joy, the construction of New Castle Town, was rotted back to rubble. Each time you had Hudson Construction try to rebuild it, they never got past laying the foundation before the houses would begin to decay. Residents were forced back to build a new settlement called Lookout Landing, just south of the ruins. Even then, it was little more than a lightly fortified trading and research outpost.
“Hey, I can tell Zelda to postpone the expedition,” Link said.
“No!” You said, then paused. “I appreciate the thought, but it’s too important to investigate the gloom. We need to get to the bottom of it – literally.”
Link rolled his eyes. “Right, but if you need to rest, you need to rest.”
“I know, but I promise I’ll be fine.” Link frowned, staring into you. “Okay, I’ll go see Symin after the expedition, but I promise I’ll be fine.”
“Good.” Link smiled, leaning forward to give you a gentle kiss.
The two of you talked for a little while more before you both drifted off into a gentle sleep. While Link may have been next to you, something still made you feel restless.
==
The next morning seemed to pass in a blur, and you weren’t truly shaken from your thoughts until you were descending into the depths of Hyrule Castle.
“This gloom keeps getting thicker,” your sister, Zelda, commented as you descended. She held the torch for you and Link. The two of you remained calm, but you were both on high alert. The weight of your Sword of the Six Sages was a comfort, not knowing what could be around the next corner. “We’ve been descending for a while now… These tunnels are deeper than I thought. What could be down here?”
“I have a feeling even Father didn’t know about these tunnels,” You commented as you passed some luminescent moss. “Some of this looks older than even the Sheikah tech.”
“I wish we were coming down here to explore for more academic reasons instead of trying to find the source of the gloom,” Zelda said, scanning over the wisps curling around her feet. “Though here, it seems almost misty and not concentrated enough to harm us…”
“What’s the plan then?” Link asked.
“We’ll keep going. With it coming up from beneath Hyrule Castle…” Zelda paused, then turned to you and Link. “We do not know what waits below, so we need to be ready for anything. But I know I’ll be okay with both of you. Let’s go solve this mystery.”
“That said, it may be best for you to stay behind one of us.” You drew your secondary weapon, an Eightfold Blade, and took the lead.
“As you wish… General,” Zelda said with a little laugh.
“You appointed me as head of Hyrule’s military, let me do my job, Princess,” you snarked back. You led the way deeper. Water dripped down the walls, leaving chalky stains. You could see just ahead that the cave looped into some ruins. “I bet no one has been down here in centuries…”
“Exactly, isn’t it exciting?” Zelda said. You smiled, happy to see your sister in her element. You couldn’t begin to count the number of ruins you explored with her over the past few years. While her obsessions may have moved on from the Sheikah, the promise of a new discovery always got her excited.
Before you could take another step, you heard something you hadn’t heard in five years. It was a familiar chime. Both you and Zelda turned to Link, seeing the Master Sword begin to glow. “It must be sensing something,” Zelda muttered. “I knew we had reason for concern…”
“Maybe we should have investigated the castle sooner,” you added. “Perhaps something from the Calamity is still lingering here.” Zelda shifted uneasily.
Link was always quick to notice when your sister was worried. “We’re going to be okay. If it really is something left over from the Calamity, it can’t be that strong with Ganon sealed away. Between the three of us, I know we can handle it.”
“Of course,” Zelda said, “I needn’t worry with the two best swordsmen in Hyrule around. All the same, we should proceed with caution.”
“Onward then,” you said, though you swapped from the smaller blade to your primary weapon granted to you by the Great Deku Tree: the Sword of the Six Sages. Link too drew the Master Sword and joined you in front of Zelda. It was best not to take chances. The soft white glow from your sword and the soft blue from the Master Sword was a small comfort to the three of you in the dark caves. With that, you continued deeper into the ruins.
As old as they were, the ruins were well preserved and mostly still standing. A few walls had collapsed to rubble, but the path was still clear. The gloom had grown a little thicker but clung to the floor and merely wrapped around your ankles, harmless for now. Zelda paused for a moment to observe the architecture. “Easily older than the Sheikah, and this unique style… wait!” She knelt at a fallen relief. “Something is written here… yes. I think this may be from the Zonai!”
The farther you walked, the better condition the ruins were in. “Yes, yes!” Zelda said, getting more excited with each step. “These carvings are absolutely Zonai in origin. I can’t believe we’re finding evidence of one of the oldest civilizations known to history directly under the castle.”
“The Zonai built those labyrinths, right?” Link asked.
“Yes, and they were said to worship the dragons. It’s said the Zonai had godlike powers and at one point lived in the sky. Unfortunately, we still know so little. Many history books on the Zonai give us more stories than factual history.”
Soon you came to the end of the hall, where two towering statues stood. Zelda stopped to inspect them further. “Is this what the Zonai looked like? They seem so different than us, and such large ears… I wonder if they were associated with the ancient city-state of Skyloft? Or perhaps they were some sort of precursors to the Oocca Civilization?”
You had a different question on your mind. “If they lived in the sky, why are they here underground?”
“An excellent point…” Zelda muttered, lost in thought. “Let’s see what else is ahead.”
You looked at the statues and for a moment, they seemed to shift. Their eyes seemed to glow with the faintest light, watching you. You rubbed your eyes and they appeared normal again. “Maybe it is the gloom,” you muttered to yourself.
You caught up with Link as the three of you made your way down the stairs, deeper and deeper. The ruins opened into a massive hall. Suddenly, you heard a familiar chittering. “Heads up,” you said, easily dispatching a keese. Link nodded, charging the second while you cleaved the third and final. You sheathed your sword, watching the keese fall to the ground.
“You aren’t hurt, are you?” Zelda asked.
“Zel, they’re keese. Link and I take care of keese like every day.” Still, she looked the both of you over, before giving a nod of approval. You couldn’t fault her, since you knew you’d be doing the same to her and Link if the roles were switched. With the monsters dealt with, you could take in the room. One wall was mostly covered by fallen rocks – likely from the Calamity – but the rest of the room was filled with sprawling carvings.
Zelda turned and let out a little gasp. “Look at these murals.” She walked the torch closer, letting the light dance across the eerie images. “The written histories of the Royal Family include stories of a great war fought long ago.”
Your many hours of tutoring in the Castle library played back in your head. “This isn’t just any war, Zelda,” you frowned looking at the murals. Zelda may have been the brains of the family, but you certainly knew the stories of your kingdom inside and out. You stopped before a carving of a wave of monsters. “This was clearly a very bloody one, and if we’re in the oldest part of the castle, it might be… Zelda, you don’t think it’s… that legend, do you?”
“What legend?” Link asked.
You felt a pit growing in your stomach. “The legend of the Demon King… an evil to surpass Demise.”
“Precisely,” She said, running along the walls. “It’s said that our ancestors – the first of Hyrule’s royal family were born from a union with the gods who descended from the heavens. These murals tell a similar story, and if they are accurate, then the gods mentioned were the Zonai… They must have forged a relationship with the Hylians of that time, working together to establish the kingdom of Hyrule!”
She turned to where the murals started to depict a man with a grotesque wave of red behind him. You felt a chill go down your spine. It couldn’t be possible… he couldn’t be the man from your nightmares. “This figure,” Zelda continued, “He seems to be stealing something of incredible power from the young kingdom. This all aligns with what I’ve read during my studies… and this!” She said, running back to the last panel. “And this shows the Demon King, and a fierce battle against him. If the creature depicted here really does represent the Demon King, then…” She stopped and gasped. “Incredible! This mural must be the great war recorded in the royal histories! This is the First Imprisoning War and the events that led up to it! This is a huge discovery!”
Zelda started fiddling with her pack. Link took the torch for her as she fished out her Purah Pad, Purah’s fantastic upgrade to the Sheikah Slate. You on the other hand stood frozen at the last panel, staring into the gargoyle-like grin of the monstrous Demon King. You took a shaky breath. “First Imprisoning War?” Link asked you.
“The First Imprisoning War sealed the Demon King. The Second sealed the king of thieves – who once tried to steal the Triforce from the Sacred Realm. Right, Zelda?”
“Yes, exactly, though some scholars suggest the Demon King and the king of thieves could have been one and the same – not that I necessarily subscribe to that theory,” she said, snapping photographs of the mural. “Why are you so jumpy?”
“No particular reason,” you muttered back. Link placed his hand on your shoulder, asking a silent question. “Later,” you whispered to him. He offered you a smile that helped to calm you.
“The part I don’t understand,” you said, steeling yourself, “is what he stole.” The three of you walked back to the third panel. “These objects… what do you think they are? Tears of Light? They don’t look anything like the Triforce.”
“Another excellent question,” Zelda said, lowering the Purah Pad. “Perhaps this was before our ancestors discovered the Triforce? Or perhaps it was hidden away. I would hate to think of what could have happened if the Demon King had stolen it.”
“Yeah,” you said, instinctively rubbing the tattoo on your hand. The power thrummed through your body for a moment, but it didn’t make you feel any better.
“Only more and more questions,” Link said, handing the torch back to Zelda.
“Maybe we’ll find more answers farther ahead,” she said. “Let’s keep moving deeper.”
This time, Link took the lead with Zelda while you brought up the rear. Your hand twitched and your gut twisted. It wasn’t like you to be so unnerved by something like that, but something felt deeply wrong, and the deeper you walked, the more the feeling grew.
The three of you exited the staircase and entered into a massive chamber. “Oh Hylia…” Link muttered. A twisting ribbon of light drifted from some kind of pyramid collector lined with runes, feeding into a skeletal glowing arm with a warm green-blue light. Most disturbing of all was the desiccated corpse the hand was pinned to, digging into the chest. Dark clouds of gloom spilled from the wound.
“What is that...” Zelda murmured. “How long has this been under the Castle?”
As the three of you drew close, the arm’s light faded, and it fell to the ground. A glowing tear shaped stone popped out of the arm’s bracer, bouncing on the floor to Zelda. She tapped it hesitantly before picking it up. The stone glowed with warm golden light in her hand.
Suddenly, the three of you heard a crack and a heartbeat. You and Link instantly moved in front of Zelda, drawing your swords. The corpse cracked, its fingers starting to move, then its arm, then its spine, until finally, the head snapped towards you, demonic eyes glowing in your direction.
A burst of concentrated gloom and malice burst from his chest, rushing straight for Zelda. Link stepped in, shoving you away and knocking it back with the Master Sword. It doubled back, crawling up Link’s arm, burning away at his skin.
“Link!” You shouted, preparing to swing your sword at the gloom.
“No! It’ll get you too, don’t!” Link summoned every ounce of strength and swung the Master Sword at the gloom again.
You could hear a crack, and the Master Sword’s blade shattered in his hand.
The tip of the sword flew from the mess, slicing across the corpse’s cheek. You and Zelda rushed to Link’s side, helping him to stand. You tried not to look at the terrible burns on his arm, keeping your attention on the monster in front of you.
“Was that the sword that seals the darkness?” A raspy voice came from the corpse. “A blade that shatters so easily against my power cannot save you from me.” His eyes scanned across you as he tried to pull himself up. “Zelda… and you, who carries that fragile sword is Link. Rauru placed his faith in you and that was all you could do?” He turned his eyes to you, and the monster seemed to smile.
Suddenly, the eyes felt very familiar. You could hardly choke out the words. “It’s him.”
“Ah… [Y/n], you do remember me. And here you are, right where I want you. Millenia of preparation, all coming down to today. Oh, how I’ve waited for this moment.”
“How do you know our names?” Zelda asked.
He didn’t answer. Instead, he summoned a miasma of pure gloom and malice, releasing it from his chest into the runed pyramid above. The caves shook and a terrible earthquake tore through the walls. Boulders tumbled from all above you as the ground started to give way. You looked up and could see the stars as the corruption forced Hyrule Castle into the sky. As the gloom dissipated, the altar collapsed, and the corpse tumbled into the darkness below.
The earth still shook as Link fell to his knees, the decayed Master Sword still in hand. “Link!” you and Zelda both shouted, but it was cut off by a scream, as the ground gave way. Both of you began to fall back into emptiness. Link leaped after you, reaching out to catch you. He opened his hand, stretching out…
Your fingers barely missed his.
You turned to reach Zelda, but the stone glowed bright and she disappeared in ribbons of light. Link tried to reach you again, but the glowing hand seemed to regain its power, holding him aloft before yanking him upward in a burst of light.
You fought to stay calm, hearing the demented laugh of the monster somewhere deep below you. You pulled your left hand close to your chest. A familiar warmth spread through your body as your hand began to glow with a golden light.
A familiar voice whispered in your ear, albeit more urgent than the last time you heard it. “Sleep. He won’t get his hands on you today.”
As your consciousness began to fade, you wanted to ask what she meant. Instead, as sleep overtook you, there was only one thought in your mind.
Link, Zelda, please be safe.

Trust Fall (Revali X Reader) - Part 1
Word Count: 2,780
Pairing: Revali X Reader (Female)
Fandom/Universe: Legend of Zelda (Breath of The Wild)
Themes/Content: Romance (Slow Burn), Fantasy, Action.
Warnings: None
Synopsis: You visit your friend in Rito Village in order to escape the sense of dread looming over your home of Castle Town as the prophesied doomsday slowly grows closer. It is here on your visit that you meet a Rito warrior who turns your world upside-down.
Authors Note: Finally got round to writing this! Since he's not mentioned in TOTK at all I just had to start a fanfic for him. I miss him so much. I'm uploading this from my laptop so if the formate is weird or there needs to be more paragraphs just let me know! I don't consider myself a pro on Zelda lore so I do apologise for any mistakes. Also, this fan fiction will have two endings! (One canon to BOTW and one canon to Hyrule Warriors) Other than that, I hope you enjoy! - I don't know what to call myself... should I go by my username? What about something stupid like Loafus?... I don't know... I'll work on it 🪶🤎
Rito Village was your second home. You felt so much comfort and associated the place with such a feeling of warmth, it was surprising you hadn't made it your permanent residence. When it came to Rito Village you only had positive memories.
This was mostly due to your best friend, Frita, being a rito. The two of you had met at a very young age and had been best friends ever since, visiting each other every couple of weeks or whenever you had spare time. She would teach you about the ways of the rito and you in turn would teach her about hylians. Frita truly was like a sister to you, and you loved her more than words could say.
"Daydreaming again?", her voice broke you from your thoughts, her bright blue eyes sparkling with joy. You blinked a few times, finally registering her words, and you couldn't help but giggle to yourself. "Yes, I guess I was". "What we're you daydreaming about?", she asked, turning her attention back to the salmon sizzling in the village's communal cooking pot, the aroma swirling through the air, making your mouth water in anticipation. Later in the night was the perfect time for cooking here as most ritos had gone to sleep; Their poor night vision meant that many would retire early in the evening. "Just thinking about flying", you confess sheepishly and Frita rolled her eyes playfully, responding with, "You're always thinking about flying". "I can't help it whenever I'm here. You all look so majestic and free", you gushed. "I would love to be able to experience what it's like to fly for myself instead of having to be on your back". "Perhaps if you pray to Hylia enough she'll allow you to become one of us", she chuckled and you couldn't help but laugh along with her. Frita eventually added the tebantha wheat to the pot and the goat butter as the two of you talked about everything under the stars. "Are you still planning on moving to Hateno Village?", she asked as she began to plate up your dinners. "Yes, unfortunately. It means I'll  be further away from you", you mumbled and Frita's face fell in disappointment. "It's the best option as, if this impending doom really is to show itself one day, the city centre is most likely one of the first places to be attacked. If I could, I'd love to live here with you". "Well, why don't you?". You shook your head. "You know I'd stick out like a sore thumb here. I wouldn't be able to pull my weight or help the village in any way. I'd be more of a burden than anything". "Perhaps not! If I could find a way for you to easily integrate into life here, would you move here?". The more Frita spoke, the more you felt a warmth spread through your entire being. "You'd have me, you'd be well protected- our warriors are exceptional, there's plenty of food and resources in the area… just don't make any final decisions to move just yet. Allow me a chance". You chuckled, taken aback by your friends willingness to help you and keep you by her side. "Okay, I'll give you a chance".
You cut yourself short when you noticed movement out of your peripheral vision. The gentle padding of talloned footsteps grew closer and bright emerald green eyes encased in bright red watched from the darkness. Finally a rito came into view. "Rather late to be cooking, don't you think?". His tone was sharp and precise, you couldn't tell if he was making small talk or if he was irritated with the fact that the two of you were occupying the cook pot. Did he usually use it at this time? "Oh! Revali! Sorry, did you want to use the cooking pot", Frita asked, a light quality to her voice as she politely addressed him, yet an awkward silence seemed to settle over the three of you as his eyes travelled from her to settle on you, staring down his beak right into your very soul. "Who is this hylian?", he asked bluntly. "This is my best friend. She's visiting for a short while", she informed him of your name and that you were from Castle Town. "Would you care to join us?", you then offered, cutting through the awkward pause in conversation. "We have plenty to go around". Frita cut you a glance, surprised by your sudden offer, but did not protest, adding "Yes, do join us! I'm assuming you've just finished practice? You must be famished". Revali opened his beak but quickly shut it, perhaps to reject the offer but thought better of it. He took a moment to smooth out the cream scarf around his neck. "Well, if you insist, I suppose I could join you", he hummed, making his way to sit across from you.
As he took his seat, he placed a beautifully crafted bow to his side, coated in vibrant colours and intricate designs, a scrap of teal fabric tied to one end. He held himself with pride, sitting tall, spine straight, shoulders squared. With the fact that he was taller than you, it was a little intimidating. "Have you visited our village before?", he asked, and it took you a second to realise his question was directed towards you. "Oh yes, plenty of times. I've been visiting since I was a child. That's how I met Frita", you explained, gesturing to your friend as dinner was being dished onto plates chiselled from stone. "Hmm, surely I would have met you by now if that were the case", he muttered as he was handed his food, "it's interesting how our paths have never crossed". You shrugged unsure of what else to say, other than, "Perhaps we weren't meant to meet yet. Us meeting now may be fate?", you laughed lightly, amused by the thought. Revali scoffed in response, "I believe we are in control of our own fate. For example; I didn't become one of the greatest rito warriors through fate and sheer dumb luck alone". "And so modest about it too", you joked which caused Frita to just about choke on her food. She tried to excuse herself as calmly as possible, covering her beak with her wing while still coughing her lungs up. Judging by her reaction, you considered how you may have overstepped a boundary. Not everyone knew when you were joking upon first meeting you. You often sounded more serious than you intended. "I'm only teasing", you clarified, playing with your food on the end of your fork absentmindedly. "I'm sure you're  more than deserving of the title", you tried for your most sincere smile you could conjure, yet Revali didn't seem convince.
Finally, Frita had caught her breath, tears in the corners of her eyes. "No no, Revali really is the greatest of our warriors. Our people gave him that title", she croaked, her throat sounding raw from coughing. "He's the pride of the rito", she insisted, dropping her voice to a more serious tone. Your face contorted in amused disbelief before you began to wrack your brain for any information that would help you deduct the truth. "So he is the rito that's won the annual archery competition for the past five years? He's that same-…", you began to trail off, recalling the conversation you had with your father.
You came from a wealthy family, both your parents working for the King and late Queen of Hyrule . Your mother was the royal gerudo correspondent and your father was the royal rito correspondent- this being the reason you spent so much time in Rito Village growing up, as well as Gerudo Town. You remembered the past few years you couldn't make the annual archery competition held in the village, since you were either accompanying your mother on business trips or doing your own work, but you father had come home stating how the rito 'Revali' had won again. He would then follow up by talking about his superb skills and how his talent for aerial combat were superior in comparison to his peers. Your father claimed that the rito was unmatched and unrivalled, as well as claiming that he may very soon be known as one of- if not the most skilled warrior in all of Hyrule. (Which was very high praise coming from your father, since he was rarely impressed by anyone).
It was like a shock wave was sent through your body. "In the name of Hylia! I didn't realise it was you! I am so sorry! Please forgive my rudeness", you blubbered, putting your half eaten dinner aside, stumbling over your words as you rushed out your apology. "So you have heard of me", he lulled before an amused smirk graced his features. "I suppose I can forgive you since your rudeness was more disbelief than pure ignorance". "Thank you”, you breathed a sigh of relief. “I have heard a lot about your skills and I-… well…", once again you had trailed off. You looked to Frita for reassurance, yet she seemed as nervous as you; her posture was stiff as she sat with a straight spine, her eyes glancing between you and the navy rito. "From what I've heard, you're an incredibly skilled archer", you approached the conversation cautiously, hoping this angle would amend any bitterness you may have caused. Revali looked a you and you felt your breath catch in your throat as you locked eyes before he let out a gruff chuckle. "I suppose you could say that".
You and Frita ate in a comfortable silence while listening to Revali drawl on about the countless competitions he's won along with his many talents regarding aerial combat. Before long, your mind began to wonder.
You couldn't help but think of home. How it was slowly being consumed by a festering anxiety. There was a heavy air across the whole of Castle Town as you all prepared for this prophesied impending doom. The army had began vigorously training since last month. Some of those warriors were your friends- people you had grown up with. It was terrifying to think how some of them you may never see again once the Calamity strikes. Some were beginning to research the ancient technology that had recently been unearthed to see if they could be used to defend Hyrule. These were called guardians, and then there were also the recently uncovered Divine Beasts. At times, it was all a bit much, being at the central hub of Hyrule where there is no escape from the looming sense of dread. Things were moving so quickly and it seemed as though you may never escape the ever present anxiety that hung in the air of Castle Town. But here, in Rito Village, people seemed more relaxed. Many ritos believed that their home would not be effected by the foreseen Calamity. This made the village a nice escape from daily life back home. Here, you weren't reminded of what was to come. You weren't reminded of your duties. You could just breathe easier here in the village nestled into the rocky pillar.
"I do love it here. Rito Village is such a beautiful place. I don't have a single bad memory while being here", you gushed, earning a raised brow from Revali at your comments about his home, his interest now piqued. "Is that so?". Before you could stop her, Frita spewed, "Yes, in fact, she might move here". You shot her a look, a signal to keep that information between the two of you, to which she sheepishly dipped her head in response. You didn't want others knowing of your plans to move just yet, especially since you hadn't even mentioned it to your parents. "A hylian living amongst ritos?", Revali questioned, an amused undertone laced within his words as his luminous eyes narrowed a fraction, as if trying to read your expressions for some sign of the truth. "Hylians aren't equipped for living here. You would struggle". "Yet so many visit and get by just fine", you bit back, sharp tongued yet it was all said with a simple smile across your lips. What he said was true, yet you disliked how he assumed you would struggle when Frita, a fellow rito, believed you could easily adapt to life in the village. "Visiting and residing are very different though", he then shot back, cocking his head to the side as he examined you and your heart began to pound slightly. You felt a pout develop on your features, brows furrowed. He made a point you couldn't argue against. It was the truth. "Well, I'm taking it upon myself to help her integrate into the village before she permanently moves here", Frita chipped in, sensing some tension settling in the air. "If you truly want to move here", Revali began, capturing your attention once more. He wore a smug smirk before he finished, "You'll have to prove yourself".
"Prove myself?", you parroted. "Yes. You'll have to learn our ways and prove to us that you belong here". Revali studied you for a moment, as if he hadn't been doing so all night already. "Firstly, the women of our village are know for being beautiful singers and us men are talented archers. Tell me, can you sing?".
Being from one of the wealthier families of Hyrule Kingdom, you did have the privilege of music lessons from a young age. Your parents wanted the best for you, so consequentially, you had many lessons in a multitude of subjects and areas; Geography, horse riding, music, dance, literature, cooking, etiquette, biology and more.
"I have had many singing lessons", you informed the feathered man matter-of-factly. "It's more a matter of personal taste weather you believe I sound good". "Perhaps you could sing for me tomorrow then. After my training, well meet at the flight range. You can showcase your voice there", he challenged, the smirk across his features growing as he stared down his beak at you. "After all, it would be rather nice to have something to help me relax after such strenuous training", he teased. "And if my voice is to your liking, what do I receive then?". There was a slight pause. "What do you mean?", he tilted his head slightly, perplexed by your response. "Well, if my voice is to your liking then that would mean I have somewhat proven myself worthy of living here amongst your kind", you began, Revali's attention honed in on you, "Which I believe would be worth a reward". "Your reward would be living amongst us", you ignored his comment, pressing on. "That being said, if I prove myself, then I would like to learn archery". "What good would that do you?", he asked. "It's always good for a woman to be able to defend herself, wouldn't you agree?". "But if you were living in Rito Village you wouldn't need to defend yourself", he argued. "I'd have to say it's always good for a woman to know how to use a bow", Frita affirmed your point, edging a little closer to you as she joined the conversation. "Especially a hylian. They are smaller than most races, so it's most likely that any threat they face will be larger than them and could over power them", Frita continued, delving more into her argument. "Exactly, Frita! Meaning wouldn't it be beneficial to have a long range weapon in that instance? Surely, with your knowledge on combat as one of the greatest warriors of our time, you'd agree, Revali". You couldn't help but notice how the feathers around his chest plate plumed in reaction to your words. You'd noticed many ritos would unintentionally do this when feeling prideful, being boastful or being frustrated or angry. Perhaps it was a subconscious way of asserting dominance? Like how a Hylian may square their shoulders to appear larger and more confident in front of others. "It would be an honour to have you teach me".
There was a pause.
"I suppose it would be beneficial for you to have the most skilled archer teach you…", he mused looking off into the night, as if he barely acknowledged your being , like you were nothing more than a speck on his radar.  A nuisance. "Alright, you have yourself a deal; continuously show your willingness and progression to integrate into our society, and in turn I will teach you how to use a bow". "And you swear not to go back on your word?", you quirked a brow in Revali's direction. "I swear".

Pairing: Revali x GN Hylian Reader Summary: Visiting Revali today ended up in archery training, wholesome banter, and a lot of fears with the rise of Calamity Ganon. Themes: Romance, Fluff, Slight Angst Word Count: 2,737 A/N: Another x reader because I noticed not many people really make fics talking about how they felt or how it was before the calamity, that or I haven't read much. Anyways, I hope you enjoy it, it's crossposted to my ao3!
It was a freezing day in the Tabantha Region. Today marks a few months since you've started living in Rito Village. Having a daily routine of checking in with villagers and helping them out when they needed, it's a normal occurrence that you bump into the Rito Champion more than once, sometimes, it happens on a daily basis. That Rito has the ego and pride of a lion but still is sweet at heart when the situation permits. Eventually, you both established a bond and became friendly with each other.
Your tasks from villagers range from killing a few bokoblins to delivering something to certain people. Well, the latter is how you end up in the flight range as you jokingly asked Revali to teach you the bow. You went to the training grounds, bringing food for the Rito Champion as requested by the village elder. When you curiously wondered how training under Revali would be, and so you asked and that's how you ended up in the situation you are in now.
"I'm giving you a private lesson here, only because I think your bond with me is worthy enough for it." He hands you the swallow bow and walks a few feet away from you, not meeting your eyes.
"There are many rules in learning the art of archery, if you are wanting to learn… You better not be slacking." He said sternly as he took a glance. His back turned to you as you nervously held the swallow bow he entrusted to you. "Now the art of archery may have a lot of rules." He spoke with pride before turning to you with a smile, "But the first thing you need to remember is holding that bow with confidence. Go, show me how you hold your bow."
You gave him a weak smile as you tried to mimic how he aims as you aim at one of the targets. "You know, you haven't even taught me how to hold it yet." You said as you fumbled and strained yourself, he sighs as he watches you struggle to keep your posture. Approaching you, he gives you a comforting smile then teases, "I don't know what you'll do without me." Causing you to roll your eyes and reply, "Well, I asked only because I wanted to see what devastating training you put your warriors in." A chuckle erupts from you as you watch him hum, ignoring your comment, and moving to your side. He raised his wing, gently caressing your hand and the upper side of your back to help with your posture. His face was focused but being in close contact with your friend, you can't seem to hide the blush on your face.
"What did I say about confidence? Stand tall and don't be too nervous. You have to stay focused and trust yourself with the bow. Your arms will just get more unstable if you keep letting the bow take control of you." He pats the lower part of your back as he gives the lesson, making you jolt and yelp in surprise. The arrow that you were holding makes a beeline for the target, hitting the outermost ring. He chuckles at your reaction, earning a pout from you. He gave you a smirk before teasing you, "You lack focus. I was just guiding you and you jolted like a horse when I softly patted you."
After a while of playful banter, you both relaxed and looked at where your arrow ended up. You gave a nervous chuckle and said, “Well, at least it’s at the target. I say a hit is still a hit.” He rolls his eyes then laughs. "If it were a real monster, there is no outer ring and they'll most likely be moving, then most likely, you'll die before you get a hit." He states as he flies up and shoots a few rings to demonstrate and to show off to you. He then looks at you and says, “You’ll figure it out! You’re smart enough for that, right?” He ignores your groans in irritation as he continues to show off. "You could be such a jerk at times." You said as you sighed, watching him continue his exhibition.
Well, that's Revali, he has good intentions but he couldn't control his desire to show off. It happens from time to time, earning praises and cheers from the crowd. Little would you know he was showing off more towards you, trying to get your attention and praises as if he was a bird trying to flaunt their qualities for their chosen mate.
You held your bow and went back to training, you tried your best to aim at the target again. Steadying your bow, breathing in as you took your time before shooting the target. But when you noticed a flock of birds pass by you decided to give it a try and aim at them.
“Might as well give it a shot, maybe I could have something to prove to Revali.” You thought as you breathed in to take your shot.
You release but the arrow misses them by a feather, shooting upwards piercing the cold air. Not even a second since you released it, Revali returns to you. "I've got a better idea on how I could possibly teach you the ropes." He says proudly as he lands in front of you, "You may have no experience at all, but if you take the lessons that-"
His voice was silenced from your mind as you noticed something shine in the sun above both of you. The arrow from before comes rushing down on you both. Your eyes widened and as time slowed down, you pushed yourself onto Revali, hard.
"H-hey!" He stutters as you both were sent off the railing of the platform and onto the snow bed below. "What was that for?!" He exclaims as he tries to look for you in the snow. The impact sent you flying a bit further but not by much. Revali stands up quickly dusting himself off before going to you.
"You better have a good explanation for putting us both in danger-"
"The arrow I shot to the sky fell down." You cut him off and said quietly as you focused your attention to the sky.
Revali was going to continue on his ramblings about archery and safety but he noticed how little you seemed interested. "Did you hit your head or something? Why are you staring at the sky?" He asked, worry was in his voice but he was more intrigued than anything. He looked up and he saw Vah Medoh flying up in the sky. He still looked confused as he returned his gaze to you, "What's with the Divine Beast Vah Medoh?"
Your eyes were closed for a minute, "Nothing, nothing… Just humour me for a bit, Revali." You say softly as you lay in the bed of snow peacefully, patting the snow next to you. He shrugs but decides to lie down next to you in the snow.
"Have you ever had time to stop and think about it?" You say as your eyes flutter open and watch the beast fly.
"I'm not sure what you're getting at." He said as he furrowed his eyebrows.
"Well, all of you champions are surely talented and skilled enough to protect your villages… But have you ever wondered who the pilots of the divine beasts were before? What trials and what reasons did they have for being chosen?" You say with a small smile and close your eyes for a bit, "I wonder if your ancestor was just as cocky as you are." Teasing him, you looked to your side where he lies, he didn't notice what you said and thought back to your question. It wasn't rare that Revali doesn't notice the things you say, you knew he had lots of things in his mind, that they cause him fear and anxiety under that persona he shows. You turn your head back to Vah Medoh as it flies high above them, gliding in the wind like a giant majestic eagle.
It was a while in silence before Revali opened his beak and said, "I never thought of that, if I was honest. Truly, I have no time for such small things but I'd like to humour you this once."
"I think those previous champions are just ashamed they couldn't put an eternal end to Calamity Ganon. I would be if we couldn't."
There it was, the nightmare of many, the Calamity. You usually run away from it, the prophecy and its probable effects in your mind, but it's eventuality haunts you. You loved your life in Rito Village, you loved how things were now, you loved spending time with your friend, Revali, no matter how much of a jerk he could be at times. It was hard to think that a big calamity could change everyone's lives for the rest of their time living in Hyrule. Silence fills the void between you both as you both lie in the snow.
Revali, honestly, thought the same in the silence. The people here, the rich culture, the bonds and the life. They're all things he wishes aren't affected by the calamity when it comes. He'll miss the chicks singing in the morning, training others as well in the flight range. Above all, he'll miss you in all of it. The way he'll see you smile as you approach him, the little stories he hears from your adventures and tasks there. It's all the things in his daily life, he wasn't sure he wanted to change but he knew much that he needed to protect.
"Do you think we have a better chance?" You say, the anxiety crawling up your neck and grasping your throat as if it's stopping you from talking. Revali chuckles nervously and says, "We should be, there's no other choice. I'm up there as a support! Surely, just surely, when that little hero falls back and begs for me to save him, I'll swoop in and kill that calamity in a shot." He smugly boasts, hiding the anxiety in his own voice as you giggle, "I don't doubt you could do it, but just be more careful, even when the calamity is dead and gone, there's no saying that the village will ever not be in danger. We could still use your skills and protection, Revali."  There was a smile and truth to your words as you try to erase the possibility of his death from your mind.
"I'm sure I'll be fine, I'm never not ready and in control of the situation. Despite that, I can't make any promises when the time comes." Softly he says as he closes his eyes and sighs, "Rito Village depends well on me and the protection of Vah Medoh, I'd gladly risk it all for them."
Snow piles up on both of your bodies as the light of the sun very slowly melts it away.
"I know" you said but it sounded like you were talking to no one. Like it was a confirmation to yourself, to remind yourself of the reality that is Calamity Ganon.
When silence hits you both, It wasn't an awkward silence, just a knowing one. It spoke loudly as it echoed the chaos that may happen when the calamity finally arrived. What could happen to Revali honestly terrified you both. Revali was all for risking his life and his future for the sake of his people, but that was when he didn't have much to lose. But now, he couldn't stand and afford to see your face so dejected and defeated.
It was deafening with how loud the silence was but you were determined to break it, letting go of the overwhelming feeling of fear as you said, "Have you ever thought of settling down after the calamity?"
Revali's feathers puff up all of a sudden as he sits up and faces you, flustered by your question, "W-wait, what? What does that have to do with anything?! With the calamity?!"
His mind goes wild as his heart races, 'Don't people who only have interest ask that? You don't just casually ask that after some deep thoughts about life, death and survival! Why does she have to fluster me like that when I'm off my guard!'
You give him a smile, finding comfort in his flusteredness and say, "Well, I was just thinking of what it could be like in the future where the calamity is defeated. I wonder if you'll have little chicks… But then again, I wonder if those chicks are just as snarky and impatient as you are." You teased him and chuckled. He loved your smile, that much was true, but he couldn't let you get away with teasing. He rolled his eyes then replied to you, "Well, I'm sure your little Hylian children would just be as chatty as you, maybe even just as nosy too." You both laughed and when the laughter died down, you both had smiles on your faces. Revali lies down once again beside you, letting the snow comfort his form.
"Seriously though, have you ever thought about settling down and having anything other than training? What if you don't really need to train anymore?" You say as you glance at your side, Revali's face was comfortable and relaxed, you could even say he seemed at home. It warms your heart to see your friend's guard down like this. It warms you that he trusts you enough to be like this around you, and you made a promise to yourself you'll keep him safe in these moments.
"Well, I think I'm better off a few more years alone, maybe go on an adventure or train future warriors on how to be better. I'm not sure if I really found one to settle down with yet, I don't mind if I never do…" He hums as he looks a bit embarrassed. His beak feels dry as he lies when he says he hasn't found someone he'd like to settle down with.
You've always been by his side and took care of him, so that for once he didn't have to feel like he had to carry the burden all by himself. At first, he despised it; Leaning onto someone for the weakness he couldn't overcome but despite that, with every look on your face, the absolute care and loyalty you had to him. It took his heart and warmly blew on it, that the wind carried his sorrows away.
He coughs and continues, "But it would be a nice thing to imagine… Waking up to someone next to you and looking forward to going home… Don't you agree?"
He looks at you expectantly, somehow, it's like he was searching for some hint of affection you had for him but you kept your gaze focused on the sky.
"Hmm, for me? I agree too but just… I hope whoever it may be, they'll be my best friend. I want to have a laugh with them while staying safe in their arms, you know?" You chuckle as you sit up, your eyes meeting with his. It was a moment of connection, but you both denied it was something more, afraid of what could be and the feelings that'll hurt when the calamity eventually comes. You blinked away as you stilled your beating heart and said, "Well, that's enough thoughts for today, don't you think?"
You stood then helped Revali up who had a curious look on his face. He tries to hide his flusteredness when you mentioned 'best friend'. He thought to himself but chuckled and whispered,
"It couldn't be, right?" to which you replied to him with a confused hum as you walked back towards the village.
He shakes his head, reassuring you, "It's nothing, don't mind it" He says softly as he denies any possibility that you may actually like him back but a smile crept on his face as he looked at you fondly. He gives in and thinks to himself as you stopped and stood, waiting for him. He watched your figure as he caught up to you; His mind's thoughts were calm today, except for the lone thought.
'Maybe after the calamity, when all is done and safe, I could be your best friend.'

Bonding Over Dislike: Revali x Reader (Pt. 1)
Tumblr media
You couldn’t help the glare in your face every time you saw Link and Zelda leaving the castle. You had been trained since birth and had a long bloodline of knights yet the short hylian was assigned to her.
Call it jealousy but you were quick to denounce every fault and mistake he made.
Which is what you were doing currently.
“Come on! Fight!” You shouted, twisting your spear into his wooden shield and ripping it from him. Your piercing eyes burned through him.
“You have trained. And yet, every time, you manage to fumble.” You sneered haughtily with despite the fact you were about to double over with exhaustion.
“It is your job to protect the royal family. I know of the pride you should take in this duty. But I do not see it in you.” You lowered your hand to Link, lifting him slightly before shoving him back down. “And I do not think I ever will.”
You were training late at night, many broken and dull spears laid scattered about. You hit the dummies with all the rage you had, regret of your treatment of Link building. But then a voice rang out from your soul, justifying your behavior.
“Excuse me,” you heard a familiar voice call.
You turned and bowed, “Princess Zelda, what can I do for you?”
“Why do you dislike Link?”
You were surprised as you rose to meet her eyes, “I’m afra-“
“He looks… sad when people mention you. I am sorry if I am wrong in my assumption but do you not like him?”
You thought, “It’s- Well, I don’t mean to come off as… insulting with what I am about to say but,” you looked at her. Seeing a friend now, not the princess, “I know I could do a better job but of course, divine intervention denied me the chance. It is not personal, as a matter of fact, if he wasn’t what I was born to be, he and I would be friends.”
The silence was long. You felt the sweat drip from your forehead, you wiped it away, gaze still fixed on Zelda. You saw a glimmer appear in her eyes.
She nodded, “I understand to an extent. I would like you to accompany me tomorrow, I believe you have been to the Rito Village before. There is someone I would like you to meet.” You had when you accompanied your father to gift a bow to their leader in a move to make a sort of peace alliance.
“Link will also come. I hope you two will bond and will come to be a semblance of friends because there is nothing I can really do.”
You lamented, “As you wish.”
It was cold, your breath steamed from you as your horse trudged on. Eyes flickering around as  you heard the creaking trees. Sharp eyes darting to Link, adorned in his royal armor.
Suddenly, a whir of air caught your hair, instantly you pulled your spear out, ready to defend. But what you saw was oddly interesting.
A Rito was flying only a few meters above you, headed forward and slowing. He made the landing perfectly.
“Princess Zelda, to what do I-“ his eyes landed on you. The way you held yourself caught his eye. Straight posture and a proud aura. “Owe the pleasure.”
“I have a very important favor to ask, Revali. I completely understand if you decline.”
“What is it?”
“I want you to train them,” she pointed to you, “with a bow.”
Slightly offended you scoffed, “I do not need a bow.” She had been trying to get you to master archery for years. “I have mastered two other weapons.”
Revali laughed, “Just say you know you aren’t capable of learning it. It is a art form.”
You shot him a icy look, “Archery is for cowards.”
“And a sword on a stick isn’t?” He snapped.
“Quiet you two,” Zelda shouted, “You two are some of the most talented individuals I know. That is why I suggested this. We can only improve with each other.”
You groaned as you got off your horse, “Well?” You looked at Revali.
“She wouldn’t ask me to teach just anyone.” He said, “However, I will keep somethings secret.”
“So it’s settled! I expect to see improvement. In you both.”
While heading to the castle, Zelda cheerfully hummed to herself, which caught Link’s attention. He quickly signed to ask what was funny.
“Oh it isn’t funny. I just have a… feeling that this will be very interesting.”

Tumblr media
“heyy, can you please write headcanons of a revali x hylian!reader where they’re already married and the reader has like a kid of her own but she has to constantly leave on business trips, i think it would be cute how he’d raise a lil hylian kid while waiting for his wife to get back home! (english isn’t my first language so sorry if this request sounds strange >-<))” - anon
i LOVE THIS!!!! this is so cute! thank you so much for sending this one in, and i hope you enjoy!!! <3
y/n - your name y/c/n- your child’s name
“I’m really sorry, but I do need to go.”
it seems like you’re always working
traveling across Hyrule for different reasons every time
and you hate to put Revali in this spot
but let’s be honest here
he loves you
and he loves your child
“Y/c/n, please be good, alright? I’ll be home as soon as I’m able.”
they both give you the biggest hug
“I love you both so much!”
After you’ve gone, Revali would first ask what they would like to do while you’re away
and not just for that moment
for the entire time
he wants to give your child loads of memories that he can share with you when you return
he wants [them] to be able to share the stories of their time together with you
and he wants [them] to feel as loved and cared for as possible
Revali is SO protective of this child
he takes [them] everywhere around Rito Village
and sometimes they’ll go to the flight range
Revali letting [them] sit on his back while he flies
he teaches them how to use a bow
setting up targets at home
“So, this is how you hold it.”
“And this is how you aim. You want to get it in the very center.”
and when they get proficient enough, he’ll take [them] to the flight range to practice
the whole time you’re gone, they’re making everlasting memories
your child loves Revali as if he was [their] own father
and Revali loves your child just as much
when you return home, TONS of hugs and kisses are given
and you’ve absolutely collected trinkets for them both
“What did you do while I was away?”
and your child smiles SO big
“Oh, do we have some stories for you!”

Revali X Sheika Reader
Tumblr media
Anon Request; "Hello! May I request Revali w/ a Sheikah!Reader who is extremely kind but also a skilled fighter alongside Impa? Thank you, good luck for everything!"
~xXx~
The first time Revali met you, he didn’t think much. The Rito champion assumed you were an acting guard for Impa, to which he honestly didn’t understand the need for considering her own impressive skill as a fighter. While boastful and full of pride towards others, neither of you rarely conversed. He honestly thought you quite boring, as compared to his own very stoic rival, Link. It wasn’t till the Sheika’s visit to his homeland that he realized just how full of color you truly were.
It was another restless night for Revali, full of tossing and turning in anticipation to get his signature move down right. It secretly irked him how gifted the other Champions were, having been blessed with magical abilities that came as easy as taking a breath. He’d get his move down right, one day, but in the meantime sleep and rest were not helping him get there. The Rito had taken to the skies not moments after making the final descion to get up and work harder, soaring over to the flight range in the dead of night. The chilly air during such a time was nothing to him, so it came as quite the surprise when his sharp eyes picked up the flickering lights of a fire down below.
The closer he guided down to the small hut, the tunes of a soft flute flited to his ears. Whoever had been playing it was so focused on their craft that they had not heard him land and make way into the range’s hut. Once his eyes had adjusted to the light of the cooking pot, Revali immediately recognized who had beaten him to the range. Your back to him, you had not a single clue of your audience as you continued to play the melody of your village so far from the Rito’s. It was melodic and mystifying, a sound that very few outsiders ever got to experience. Yet, Revali was ever so lucky to hear it himself as it resounded off the ranges peaks and be played by non-other than you.
So lost in the beautiful tune you spun, Revali couldn’t help but think back to the past week of your tribes visit. It had taken some time for you to adjust, showing that all the quiet moments of your presence being that because you were actually quite shy, but once you had opened up, Revali somewhat regretted thinking you so dull. You were quite cheerful and oh so kind. The children of his village adored you; always asking you to help them with something or to play or even watch as they awkwardly flapped through the air. Anytime they struggled, you were always quick to encourage them on with unending support. It was something the Rito Champion soon realized he truly admired about you, and he wondered if it was because he had never had someone there to support him.
The sound of a clearing throat made him slightly jump, and he wondered when you had stopped playing or had even taken note of his presence. With a soft smile and confused brows upon your face, Revali was quick to gain composer as to not make him seem off guard.
“Couldn’t sleep?”, you questioned with a hint of concern.
Revali shook his head, stepping forward to stand by where you sat before the ranges cavern.
“Hmph, sleep. Sleeping is for those who ignore their potential and take the easy route about life.”, he huffed, wings crossed as he watched you stand and dust off your Rito winter garb. An outfit he had to fight himself from internally thinking about how nice you appeared in.
“Rest, dear Revali, is what you need.”, you peered out to the ranges peaks before turning to point back at the bow strapped to his back.
“I’ve seen you train, better yet, I’ve seen what you like after.”
Revali reveled in the admittance that you’d seen him in action.
“Oh? An admire?”, he teased with a raised brow and slightly puffed chest.
“No”, you rolled you’re eyes but kept your smile, “Someone who is concerned for the Rito who acts all high and mighty, but staggers away when no ones looking and tries to hide fallen injuries.
Said Rito winced a bit at your statement. He was so careful to make sure no one saw his mistakes or how much of a toll his over training was taking on him. Revali was a prideful sort, he kept himself to high standards and worked hard to be where he was today, unlike most of the others he was assigned to fight alongside of. Last thing he needed was to be seen as weak.
Before Revali could angrily retaliate, you quickly stepped forward and into his space. You face had been inches from his, and he quickly took a step back with a soft squawk, his cheek feathers fluffing up in a bit of embarrassment.
“I know! I’ll challenge you to rest!”
It took Revali a moment to comprehend what you had said, but once he had any bitterness from before had been quickly replaced with intrigue. If there was one thing Revali was known for it was his eagerness to prove himself in competition. With a smirk, he stepped forward in challenge, wings on his hips and startlingly green eyes catching your unwavering form.
“Heh, and what do tell, are you proposing?”
“A shooting challenge.”, you confidently winked, pulling out your own bow.
This caused Revali to let out a heavy laugh, one that only made you smile wider.
“Are you serious?! You do know who you’re talking to right?”, Revali confidently grinned, taking out his bow and holding it as though it were a magnificent treasure.
“What? Are you a kokoo?”, you jested, making bocking sounds to only further ruffle Revali’s feathers.
With a huff, Revali stepped toward the end of the flight range’s landing, you quickly following behind him.
“There.”, he pointed to some targets set in the far distance. “Whoever hits all of those wins. Think you can do that, Sheika guard?”
Narrowing your eyes, Revali knew he tugged a string with the title he’d thrown at you, but was left confused when your dour expression changed to one of mischief.
“I’ll do you one better. If I hit those targets blindfolded, you have to rest. For a week!”
Revali smirked with a raised beak. You really had no idea what you were getting yourself into huh?
“Fine, but if you miss a single target, you will craft my arrows for the same amount of time.”
It was known that Sheika were skilled in the ways of crafting weapons, and Revali reveled at the thought of showing up Link with some new, quicker arrows.
With a nod of agreement you quickly wrapped a piece of cloth around your eyes, taking stance along the edge and drawing your bow. Just behind you, Revali held an already triumphant smirk. He knew the range better than anyone, and knew just exactly how rough and unexpected it’s winding winds could be. How could someone who couldn’t even fly be expected to hit targets, blindfolded, in such unpredictable situations.
And yet, just as how you had taken him by surprise when you’d first arrived and shown your true personality, you had once again done so in the form of archery. With a deep breath and senses he couldn’t even begin to comprehend that you were capable of on high alert, you fired. Each arrow seemed to be carried by the sharp gust of wind, as though you some how knew what direction it would take. Revali watched in awe as the arrows twisted and turned in ways he didn’t think was even possible, the sound of them hitting their mark dead on resounding in his mind. Just as the tune you played on your wonderful flute had moments prior. Was your playing a tactic to learn the ranges winds?
Removing your blindfold and shaking your hair back into place, you didn’t even bother to look at the targets you hit, instead turning to the awestruck Rito Champion with a smirk of your own.
“See you back at the village. Oh, and one more thing,” you brushed teasingly against him as you made your leave.
“I’m not a guard. I’m a warriors aprentice.”
Watching your retreating form, Revali felt a warmth blooming within his chest and let out a small chuckle with a shake of his head and a genuine grin, your admirable skills with a bow playing back in his memory.
You weren’t boring in the slightest.

Fight or Flight
Revali x Lurelin! Reader
Part 1
Summary: You are competing for the role of champion of the Hylians and consult Link's rival for some guidance to overcome him.
Content warnings: none
Tumblr media
You cupped your hands over your cheeks and huffed into your palms to try and warm your face. Frost nipped at the tip of your nose and the tips of your ears and your body ached from the long journey, but it was completely worth it.
You had worn typical clothes of your home village; Linen pants and a blue fitted silk top. You had some woven shoes that were good for the beaches but thin for the trek of northern Hyrule. The weather was like nothing you had ever experienced and your attire had done little to shield from it. Being unprepared for this journey was not what you expected. The wool peacoat you spent a good sum on was hardly enough to block the breezes.
Your home in Lurelin was warm and perpetually pleasant. Rito Village, while seemed to be serene, soft breezes blowing your hair gently out of your face, it was much cooler than what you normally lived with. The lower temperature felt almost liberating, though.
As soon as you stepped foot within the village, you dropped to your knees at the goddess statue, clasping your hands and praying for strength.
"How long was your journey, little Hylian?" a voice had interrupted you. "My name is Veleni, I run the Rito village Inn."
You opened your eyes and stood before the Rito. He had dull red feathers and friendly dark eyes. Before you could reply, a second Rito approached from behind Veleni with a disapproving glare upon their face. "Leave the girl alone, Veleni, she just got here." The Rito had a similar look to them; red feathers and dark eyes. Their expression softened as it turned to you. "I'm so sorry, my name is Miche and my brother here doesn't know when to be subtle."
You smiled at them and shook your head. "No, it's quite alright. My name is (Y/N). I came from Lurelin Village."
Miche's eyes widened. "Lurelin?" She exclaimed. "Where is your horse? Surely you didn't come all the way here by foot?"
You bit down on your lip and shook your head. "My horse... she is too old to travel this far. I walked here," you told them.
"Please, come. We can get you a splendid Rito down bed. The most comfortable bed in Hyrule. After one night, you'll–"
"Thank you," you interrupted. "It's means a lot, but I cannot accept."
Miche waved her hands as if it was not a big deal. "Don't be silly, little hylian. It is complimentary. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if you had not been well taken care of."
Your face flushed as Miche and Veleni urged you towards the inn. The hospitality warmed your heart, but a part of your chest pinched with guilt when faced with such generosity. "I appreciate your offer, but I'd much rather sit by a warm fire tonight instead."
Veleni raised a brow. "Really? I wouldn't want to deny you, but–"
You nodded.
"There is space for a camp on Revali's Landing if you insist. But please do not forget, the offer stands." Miche assured you.
You confirmed your decision. Opting out of potentially indebting yourself, as your father had once said; Everything has a price, some people just have more to pay with. You had absolutely nothing to pay with. Before leaving, you had prepared well, so that you would have no need to rely on anyone but yourself.
"Help yourself to the cooking pot, it's a few flights up, but completely free for anyone to use," Veleni said.
The sun was dimming in the distance. The sunset was much more visible than in your home village because the village's foundation was in the sky. It seemed everything in Rito village could be seen with a bird's eye view. Time included. There would be enough time to make a small meal and maybe enough daylight left to visit the Rito elder.
You found the cooking pot that Veleni had told you about. There, some young Rito children had been finishing their meals. For dinner, you warm yourself up with spicy meat and seafood fry. While you ate, the group of fledglings sparked some conversations with you. They were just as amazed you had come from so far.
"Aren't you cold?" one of the Rito boys squawked.
"She's a warrior, Filo," a Rito girl gestured to your bow and sword. "She can handle a little cold."
You were silent as the children made up their theories about you. A soft smile formed on your lips when they began asking you about the monsters you fought on your way to Rito Village. You scooped the last of your food into your mouth and washed out the bowl. Once all of your belongings were packed together you asked the young Ritos where the Rito elder is.
"The elder? He's at the very top, you can't miss him."
"Thank you." You left the children with some sweets from Lurelin that you brought. It seemed only right as young and as helpful as they were.
The number of stairs this village had began to frustrate you. Had you not traveled enough? Eventually you reached the top. There was no time for rest. Often when you felt the urge to rest, the thought of the other hylian swordsman, Link, clouded the temptation.
You and Link were the only two contenders for the spot of the champion of the Hylians. You both were highly skilled fighters, trained in both swordsmanship and archery. You are also quite skilled in hand to hand combat, unlike Link, but even so, you were still at a major disadvantage.
Link was the son of a knight and possessed a gift to slow time in battle. He can hyperfocus midair and zero in on a target suspended in air. He was born in the royal guard, hailing from a bloodline of warriors. It seemed like it would only be natural for him.
It seemed the cards were stacked against you, but you couldn't give up.
The Elder was a large green parrot-like Rito. They stood well above another Rito who they conversed with, who was an elderly peach colored Rito. You felt awkward approaching them, especially at this hour.
"Excuse me, sir," you cleared your throat. "Elder Myla?"
The elderly Rito turned to see you. She looked surprised to see a Hylian, but face was bitter. She sized you up and took a step backwards. The Elder on the other hand had a neutral expression, but still remained pleasant.
"You are dismissed, Jeyll." Myla told the elderly Rito. He looked back at you and rose a brow. "What can I help you with, young Hylian?" He shifted his neck, seemingly to get a better look at you. "Where are you coming from?"
"My name is (Y/N) and I come from Lurelin Village," you said. "I am seeking out the Rito Champion, Revali. If you could tell me how I can contact him, I offer a golden rupee and three ruby gems." The price was steep, but you had to pay whatever needed to see him.
Myla seemed amused by your firmness. He could tell you were honorable and strong. You had a fisherman's shield, a golden bow and a Soldier's broadsword. Your weapons came from all over the world.
"Young (Y/N), you look like a warrior." Myla noticed. "Tell me about your training?"
"I am self taught mostly. I am the first line of defense for my village."
"I trust you know your way around a bow. I sense you mean business and do not intend to waste any time. For that reason, your offer is not necessary. Master Revali spends most of his time training at the flight range, should you not be able to reach him, let me know."
Your eyes lit up like electricity.
"Well, what do we have here?" A voice as timber as the Great Hyrule Forest sang behind you. "Giving out my precious time, are we, Myla?" It belonged to the Rito you were looking for. "I am a busy man, you know?"
You furrowed a brow. This... is the Rito Champion? you thought to yourself. He was shorter than other Rito. Not to mention his attitude seemed a little cold. The more you thought on it, it was fitting.
"Revali, this hylian girl comes from Lurelin," Myla reported.
"Lurel–" Even Revali, try as he might, couldn't hide his amazement. He crossed his wings and widened his eyes at you. After a second, his eyes narrowed. He laughed. "Oh, I see. It's obvious, just looking at the way you're dressed, you must be freezing."
"I am the only warrior from my village, Master Revali. I need to speak with you, warrior to warrior."
He skeptically sized you up, his eyes surveying you from head to toe. "Well then, nobody travels all the way from Lurelin if it isn't important, suppose. Meet me on the landing at the entrance of the village first thing tomorrow morning. Us Rito are early birds, so don't oversleep."
An enormous weight lifted from your shoulders. For a split second, you had thought to drop to your knees and thank him, but refrained. "Thank you, Master Revali. I will not disappoint you."

My Forest Spirit
A legend of Zelda BOTW/TOTK Yandere x Reader. This is obviously cannon divergent. Fem!Y/N is short and Curvy in this, and is often described with long hair. This story will contain NSFW! scenes, violence and profanity. MDNI
Previous Chapter / Next Chapter
Tumblr media
Chapter 3: Will you be my betrothed?
I woke as I was shaken awake. Groggily, I opened my eyes to look up at the man beside me. Link grinned at me and ran a hand through my hair. My ear twitched as one of his fingers grazed the back of my ear, his hand retreating to his side quickly.
"Morning Y/N, did you sleep well?" Link asked, running his hand through my hair.
I smile up at him and nod. His grin only grew once our eyes met and he hunkered next to me, practically encasing me with his large frame. The blue tunic bunched in my hands as I toyed with his sleeves. A shadow loomed over us and Link grunted, glaring up at whoever was there.
"We need to leave knight. The princess wants to get to the castle as soon as possible." Revali sighed, putting his bow on his back and packing up his tent.
I look around, realising we had been asleep on the ground. Dirt fell from my skirt as I stood and pried myself away from Link's grasp. All the others were busy packing their things to get back on the road and I looked down at the pouting Hylian I had just been sitting with. He was clearly upset by something yet I had no idea what it could have been. His eyes met mine and softened immediately before standing up.
"Y/N, you can walk ahead with me. I'll keep you safe from all the monsters!" He confidently declared, wrapping an arm around my waist.
I thanked him but was yanked away by Zelda. Her soft hand wrapped around my wrist as she pulled me to her side, smiling at me. Blonde hair hung, framing her face as she intertwined our fingers. The birds seemed to sing as our eyes met and the world stopped spinning. She rubbed a hand over my back, her hand sliding down to rest on my behind. A faint flush rested over my face as her hands' grip just became firmer and ushered me along with her.
"Ignore my knight, you can walk with me! My father will love you Y/N, he might even allow you to stay as a close servant or maid! Or, maybe a concubine… until I can be crowned and married," She muttered.
I raised a brow at her, unsure of what half of those words meant. Compared to the Koroks, these people know much fancier words than they ever taught me. Their clothes looked nicer, accents strange and varied. It was truly extravagant in my eyes!
"Concubine? What does that mean?" I ask, cocking my head to the side.
Urbosa raised a brow and walked beside us, Zelda's posture stiffening as she approached.
"Why do you want to know about something like that little cactus?" "Oh, well Zelda said something about asking her father for me to be her… concubine I think it was." "Ah well, I'm sure the princess was just joking! Don't worry about all that," Urbosa sighed, shooting Zelda a strange look.
The rest of the long walk was quiet and awkward. I was more than used to silence, but this one was heavy and dense. Suffocating silently, we approached the Castle as guards began escorting us all in. Zelda held me close to her as we entered through the loud entryway. A white-haired man turned to meet Zelda's gaze and he smiled softly at us.
"Zelda, you've returned. Has the Master Sword been retrieved?" He asks, striding confidently towards us.
Zelda smiled back and held her hand over her chest, nodding. "Yes, Father! Link managed to pull the legendary sword from the ground. But, we have far more important matters to speak about. Privately," She stated.
The man nodded and walked away with Zelda by his side. The moment the princess had left, Link went leapt forwards but was intercepted by Urbosa. The tall, honeyed skin woman grinned down at me and offered her hand. Gently I grabbed her fingers, my hand too small to fully hold hers. My sleeve slid down my forearm to my elbow as she leaned down and pressed her lips to the back of my hand. The emerald eyes met my own as a singly crimson strand slid over her forehead and danced over my wrist before she stood up. Blue lipstick had smudged onto my hand and I used my thumb to try and rub it away.
"Hello dear, come with me to my private chambers. Your beautiful little body deserves a nice bath and some nice clothes. You there," She waves over a knight and looks down at him while pulling me to her chest. "Please bring some Hylian clothes to my chambers as soon as possible."
The knight nodded before running off. Urbosa smiled and took my hand, striding with purpose through the halls. Her warm hands held me close to her, my forehead bumping against her chest with each step. With a smile, she pushed open a large double door that led into a grand room, something I had never believed could ever exist. The cold marble beneath my feet shot shivers up my spine. Chuckling at my reaction, she led me to a large cushioned circle. I raised a brow as I looked around the room, never having seen anything like it anymore. A warm laugh rang out as Urbosa looked down at me.
"You have never left that forest have you?" "Huh? Oh no, I haven't. The Koroks and the spirits that visit the forest raised me. I did sometimes venture out of the forest to visit the nearby fairy fountain!" I smile at her and ran a hand through my hair.
She smiled at me and rubbed my back before parting a curtain to an adjacent room. I raised a brow but she ushered me to follow her. A deep tub was front and centre in the room, a large window looking out onto the surrounding fields of the Castle. She used a strange object at her hip to activate a device near the tub. Water began rising and she grabbed my shoulders.
"Why don't you get out of those clothes and into the bath? You can tell me about all the spirits you've met while I wash your hair." "Okay, that sounds nice!"

Note
Hi, you can totally ignore this but I kinda want to request a one shot of revali x reader who is like Regina George from mean girls and has the whole clique and everything I kinda want to see what could happen. Remember to eat something, stay hydrated and sleep well.
Yay so happy to have a request! Sorry this took forever, I’ve been having a bit of writers block and haven’t posted in a few months. Also, I haven’t seen mean girls in several years so sorry if it’s not fully based around those characters. Enjoy!
Warnings: unedited (sorry!)
~~~
Everyone knew how proud of a Rito Revali was. He would flaunt his skills any moment he could, always trying to prove himself to be the best. So when he was rejected by Y/N, he didn’t know what to do.
He knew he was the best. This Hylian woman who had everyone bowing at her feet was also, clearly, the best. So why would she reject him? He pondered this as he sat upon a high ledge.
Just hours Ago Revali had approached her, after watching her for the past month. She was gorgeous. Very gorgeous. The Rito and Hylians alike both seemed to see this. They showered Y/N with gifts and flowers. But each suitor would swiftly get rejected. He knew he could succeed were other failed, so why did she reject the bouquet of swift violets?
His thoughts moved away from the sting of rejection, which he was definitely too proud to acknowledge, and onto to the others girls at Y/N’s arm. They had arrived at the same time as Y/N and seemed to be her’s to control. They would do things for her, listen to her, and acted as if she was the center of their universe. These were the only people who seemed remotely close to her. They would eat with her, they roomed together, and were often seen around shopping together as well.
Revali thought on this. Maybe they were the way to her heart.
~~~
Later that night he devised a plan. He would have to impress the friends first, each one individually. Make her jealous. Make Y/N see how prefect they are for each other.
~~~
When morning approached he woke before the sun came up. He was always up early so he could fly to the flight range for training, but he wasn’t going there today. Today he stayed in the village and would train here. Hoping to catch the eye of one of Y/N’s loyal minions, or better yet, Y/N herself.
Revali stretched his wings then shot off into the air. He warmed up a bit. Saving his energy for the main show when the girls woke up. He knew Y/N wasn’t going to be easy to impress. Revali however knew his skills were unparalleled…so why was he so nervous?
~~~
You woke up to the cold nip of the wind on your face. The temperature here in Rito Village always seemed to be pleasantly chilly. It was like a fresh morning when the sun has just barely begun to rise, or perhaps hasn’t even peaked out over horizon yet. Either way, it was much better than the cold stables you had to spend the night at a few weeks ago. You shuddered at that thought.
Your legs swing down from your bed landing on the slippers you laid out the night before. As you slipped your arms through the matching robe you noticed that something was slightly off. Too quiet. Both of your friends were not in their beds close by, but outside.
Frustrated that they had left the room without you, you walk outside to the ledge you could see them both sitting on, dangling their feet over the edge. Hands on your hips you make your presence known, “Fake much, didn’t even bother to let me know-“
The sounds of strong wind and the turning of your friends heads as they barely acknowledge your words catches your attention. Your eyes flew to the sky as well, seeing Revali zooming through the air.
He landed next to your trio with a cocky smirk on his face, flowers held outward. “Thanks but I thought I made myself clear yesterday.”
He laughed obnoxious, “Oh darling, these are for your lovely friends, I understood you perfectly fine yesterday”.
His words stunned you. Taken aback you blinked a few times. Meanwhile your friends smiled widely. A fake smile that was filled with hidden rage appeared on your face. Two could definitely play this game you supposed.
~~~
The next two weeks passed in a blur. Revali flaunted. You flirted with any Rito who talked in response. He countered by giving attention to your friends. You ignored him. This all then started over again.
Until one day Revali landed and spoke to you again. He gave you a flower now too along with your friends. This time you didn’t ignore him. You accepted the flower.
“So, want to rethink my pervious offer princess?”
~~~
Hope you enjoyed! Sorry it’s so short. I’m not the most please with how it turned out, but I’ve been having a really hard to find time for writing lately.

Hiya! Welcome to my first self-ship blog! This is my first time running one, but I am in no way new to it. I mainly decided to make this, since Revali has been my comfort character for awhile.
I go by Roo on here, and my pronouns are she/they! I’m also 20 years old, but please do not be weird towards me in anyway. You will be blocked if you do. This account is purely for comfort!
I have the OC I’m using for this the same name obviously, her name is Roo and she’s a Hylian. I will mainly be going off of Age of Calamity and my own hc’s for Revali! He is mainly gonna be as he is in canon, just with a few of my own hc’s. I will be doing little posts for my self-ship and maybe some x readers too. I have too much brain rot for him. I also headcanon Revali as bisexual/asexual!
———————————————————————
Okay, now to my DNI stuff, which is pretty straightforward. These are just basic obvious stuff, or just discomforts.
DNI, if you/say—
Are racist !
Are sexist !
Are homophobic !
Are ablest !
Are a pr*shipper !
Are a zoo !
Say slurs !
Bully or harass others !
Do not bring up dr*gs of any kind to me !
I also don’t wanna see dark subjects like r*pe or unalive content brought to me.
I’m okay w doubles, just please don’t be overbearing about Revali. It makes me a bit uneasy. I’ll be supportive tho!
———————————————————————
If me or my content make you uncomfortable, please feel free to block me! I understand self-shipping is not for anyone, but I would rather you just block me instead of trying to be disrespectful or argue with me. I hope you enjoy my account! <3

Anon: I was just wondering if I could request a revali x hylian reader? Maybe wherr the reader is pretty shy and reserved but when doing something they love they are super outgoing and bubbly? (If that passion could be aerial silks that would be cool!) Thank you and sorry if this isnt the right spot to ask 😖
This took so much time, I'm so sorry
I came back with shit I still have to do
I fucking hate school and their abnormal amount of work
This took a lot because of ✨school burnout✨
Don't worry about me, I'll be fine, I just have two assignments left and they're a bad joke but with so much extra steps
I hope you like it ✨
Revali with a Shy but Passionate (S/O)
Tumblr media
How the two of you got together is a mistery
And the majority is Revali crushing hard for you
You can bet that he finds your shyness cute as hell, but your passion????? Absolutely gorgeous
It took a while to you have the trust to talk about your favorite things with him
He just enjoys how you ramble about anything and everything.
You have this smile on your face everytime you talk about your hobby and Revali continues living for that
He might seem that he's not listening
But, oh boy, this guy remembers every single word you said months ago in a random conversation.
You have long night conversations with him
When he's busy, his stress decreases if you're talking about something you like
You can bet my ass that Revali knows what present give you and be sure you'll love it
He will definitely tease you for your hobbies but definitely not made fun of it
He can't, he practices archery for days, he can't say anything.
If your passion is arts, he'll love if you give him something you made
And definitely tells everyone about it how perfect it is and you definitely are the best
If your passion is just thins you can give, Revali will appreciate it and keep it in a really nice and safe place
Revali hates when you're interrupted
He'll kill anybody for doing that to you
He will definitely make everyone shut up in order to hear you perfectly
No need to raise your voice, just give him a second making the king shut his mouth in order to hear you
Everything can wait, he wants to hear your conversation
Yes, even Calamity Ganon
He sometimes makes questions
Sometimes for you to know he is interested and listening or he just doesn't know
He'll remember everything, so no need to repeat yourself
But if you do, he has no problem, this is an opportunity to participate in the conversation
He loves hearing you talk while he's practicing, fixing his bow, reading, braiding your hair, etc.
The first this happened, you shut your mouth immediately
Revali was so confused for why you stopped talking, he was actually interested in topic
“Sorry... I didn't meant to not let you talk...”
Revali now wants to go stabby
WHO DARES SOMEONE TO SHUT YOU WHEN YOUR TALKING ABOUT SOMETHING YOU ENJOY?!?!!
“I don't know why are you apologizing for, it's entertaining to hear you talk, please never stop”
Now, that was unexpected
He will not let ANYONE interrupt you
“Have some respect, they're talking, wait for your turn”
I think I already said this but, you can't talk about anything and Revali would not care, he would like it, he enjoys it
