Praise Report (5/10/23)

A week ago I got together with a bunch of relatives from my grandma’s side of the family, to celebrate the little family reunion we were having with a few of our Norwegian relatives who got to come over to the US.

It was really nice to talk to members of my family I don’t get to see very often, as well as meet my Norwegian relatives for the first time.

A moment that really stuck with me during that time was when I got to talk to my Great Uncle Bruce, who’s a prophet and receives messages from God.

I got to have a private conversation with him, and during it, he felt God wanted to directly say to me “to trust when I feel he is speaking to me”; that he and I are going to work together to accomplish great things.

It was really a great comfort to hear that, especially from someone who has a deep and unique relationship with God. I have had this strong sensation about what lays ahead in my future, the impossibly wonderful things God is going to make happen to help us get to the goal, the dream, the hope I’ve been holding onto for so long, but alongside it I’ve had a strong sensation of doubt accompany me. I’m very glad though, and very excited for the renewed confidence God has blessed me with. And I am very much looking forward to when I get to share the full story of this journey I’ve been on, because it’s a bit of a doozy!

Heeey so I'm currently not checking notifs here cause I need to focus on my paper + I'm sick as a dog so my productivity is like zero rn lmao which is not good cause I need to be productive

So if u replied or sent me an ask I'm not ignoring you, I'm just forcing myself to lock in and finish this damn paper

I do come online here to scroll through my favorite cats of tumblr blogs cause like, I need to see cute cats to keep going lmao but that's it

But other than that, until friday, I'm forcing myself not to interact with social media cause I always get lost in the sauce and before I know it it's been 2 hours of procrastination and I can't afford that rn 😭

One of the secrets to success in life is first deciding that giving up is not an option. That decision has to be made first. Once giving up is removed as an option, the only option left is to stay at it until you succeed.

When you add actively seeking God and his wisdom and timing to the mix, you have a powerful and unbeatable combination! As you wait on him and move in his timing, your strength is renewed. You get closer and closer to victory as you walk in God's will and way.

Giving up is not an option for the child of God! Waiting on God is!

today I finally registered to my consulate's list; booked an appointment to renew my passport; got another appointment for my long-lasting eye health issue AND wrote to my landlord for an issue with my toilet
