I am on cloud 9. After months and months of working on Majora's Mask, for at least a couple of hours each week (including probably at least 4-6 weeks to get past the final boss), I have finally beaten the game for the first time ever!

Now, I didn't 100% it. I was missing 2 masks and about 1/3 of the hearts, and there were 2 fairies I didn't bother to fix. But I beat the game. Will go back and 100% sometime later.

And even after finishing the game...

I still have no idea what the heck was going on!!! Where the heck even IS Termina? It must be an alternate universe, right? Who was the ancient race that made Majora's Mask? I mean, I think Majora was related to the giants, but I'm not sure, and it still doesn't explain who they are or where they're from. How is there a whole world inside that moon, and why does it have breathable atmosphere and green plants? Are we seriously dealing with aliens? I mean, something abducted those cows, and if there's life inside the moon....

Which brings me to the biggest question I have: what is the connection between Happy Mask Salesman and the kids on the moon? Is that where he's from? Are they his children? Nephews? Or, in this crazy, mixed-up world in which time has no meaning, could they be his ancestors? Or fragments of himself, or his past selves, from alternate timelines? How and why did HMS come to Hyrule in OOT? Did he have Majora's Mask then? He said he's been following Link for a long time- was that why he came to Hyrule in the first place? How did he ever even find out about Majora's Mask? It was from Termina, and neither Termina nor Majora seem to have any connection to Hyrule, so unless HMS was from Termina, how COULD he know about it?

Also, how does Majora's Mask (obviously freed of the evil that had cursed it) keep ending up in alternate timelines? Like BOTW and LBW?

I HAVE QUESTIONS!!!!!!

God is so good!

Up until a few months ago, I had car insurance through Geico. I was their customer for years never had any issues. Things changed when I moved to Florida. To sum up what happened: Back in January, Geico hit me with a $535 dollar bill out of the blue. My 6-month contract with them had just come to term, and they said the price they'd quoted me back when I got the policy was accidentally too low, and for the whole six months they didn't charge me enough, and so I needed to pay up. I told them (politely) to pound sand. I'd paid every cent of the agreed upon amount, all payments were in full and on time. They said I owed them the money anyway. I refused to pay it. Fast forward a month, and I get a letter from a collection agency (no surprise). Geico wants $535 dollars.

I took the situation to the Lord in prayer. It was unjust, but should I just pay it? It would set us back with other bills, but I didn't want my credit to take a hit. I decided to report it to the Better Business Bureau and just pray and see what happens.

Two days ago, an executive from Geico called me, apologized for the whole thing, withdrew the charge and cleared everything up with the collection agency.

Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, who hears and answers the prayers of His people! Blessed be the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, who makes us right with God!

Oh yeah, I have had so many different pain this pregnancy and have worked through all of them but the last one, the ab pain from the stretching and coughing when I was sick, I was sure I was just stuck with but prayed about it anyway.

It's getting better. 😊

My younger sister took the step & accepted Jesus into her life today!!! I cried when she made the decision & going to celebrate! Hehe. The angels are singing & celebrating in heaven! 💕

Quickest I have ever beaten Escue (the big bug that flashes purple and gives you Storm Missile). I lost count, but I'm pretty sure I only died 5 times. Not bad for someone who still sucks at bullet hells.

I figured out a trick to get past all of his attacks. For each attack, slide under him, then spin jump against the wall until the attack ends. This will pretty well avoid both the bullet hell and the dark energy ball, because the homing attack goes where you were, not where you are, so if you slide, they'll stay at the bottom of the room and you can jump over them. I really only got hit if I mistimed a jump.

He attacks 4 times before dive-bombing you. Slide under his dive-bomb, then aim and fire missiles. If you're quick, you can get in 2 before his next attack. (Maybe some better players can even get in 3 missiles, but I would get hit by his next attack whenever I tried for a 3rd one.)

And please note, I'm still only on Rookie Mode, because I just don't feel good enough at some of these bosses to move to a higher level yet.

Update: everything was perfectly fine with my paycheck, and I got another donation to my mission trip fund!

I only need $220 more to meet my September 8th deadline of $1500

My ultimate goal for the trip is $2800

I have a couple of financial prayer requests if y’all don’t mind

I just transitioned to a new job, and im supposed to get my first paycheck tomorrow, so just please pray that everything is okay with my first check. I am supposed to have a pretty decent increase in my pay, and im just asking for prayers that there were no hiccups or delays and that this first check is a substantial amount and is deposited on time

Second is part prayer request and part praise: I am currently on schedule with my fundraising for my mission trip to Romania in December. My next goal is to have 1500 in my account by September 8th, so prayers for that goal to be met would be greatly appreciated 💙

coming home from college yesterday, littlebro hit a patch of ice and rolled his car into a ditch. miraculously, he came out of it with a welt on his forearm and a stiff neck today after having slept on it. both his glasses and phone survived, and he was retrieved by a fellow college student who lives relatively nearby.

Praise Report (5/3/23)

Jumping the gun on my next Praise Report. Wanted to make sure I shared this good news before I forgot about it. This was a literal answer to prayer for my family.

So my Dad’s cousin had not been feeling well lately, being short on breath and energy, and had been in and out of the hospital. Just the other day he was scheduled for surgery. But when the doctors looked him over, they couldn’t find anything wrong. SO NO SURGERY WAS REQUIRED! My family and I had been praying for him, that some miraculous healing would befall on him. AND HALLELUJAH, HE GOT IT! And we hope it stays that way. He’s been a huge blessing to our family and so many others. He’s so incredibly generous with his wealth, and using God’s blessings to bless others. We want him to stick around as long as possible to continue being a shining light in this world. Thank you God for answering our prayer, and that we still have people like him spreading kindness, blessings, and love in this world.

I DID IT! I BEAT FRONTIERS ON HARD MODE!

Making this the first console game and the first non-educational game with multiple difficulty levels that I've ever beaten on every difficulty level. I feel like I deserve a treat. Maybe a chili dog :D
