Dadzawa x F! Reader - Over Worked & Tired Part 1
It was now reaching the hour of at least 3 in the morning in Japan and you still hadn’t finished your paper proposal that you have been working on for hours on end. It certainly didn’t help that it was weeks overdue with only a few days until the end of the semester for your college courses back in America. 
You’re an American based student attending U.A. High, but also completing your bachelor’s degree at a college back in the states. Highly intelligent, as you were a member of Class 3-A and still in high school but only have one more semester until you finish your B.A. in English, about the same time you would graduate high school. Unfortunately, the time difference between the US and Japan has screwed with you reaching deadlines and a symptom of overusing your quirk is a lack of focus, something that you didn’t even tell your homeroom teacher, Mr. Aizawa. You were determined this was something you could do on your own.
Lately, you’ve been feeling like you have something to prove, almost like you’re somehow less than your peers as if your quirk wasn’t as useful or not powerful enough. As if your instant ability to feel empathy and affect emotions as well as being trained in formal combat in a similar fashion to Aizawa and his scarf. In fact, he was the one who worked with you and trained you with it. 
None the less you still felt like you were on your own with this and felt like you had to overdo yourself in training exercising. Quite frankly, you were on the serious verge of burn out, you wanted nothing more than to just curl up in your bed and watch a little TV after a nice hot shower. But non the less you had to push those desires aside to finish your college semester out strong.
You take another drink of your contraband energy drink, as a student at esteemed high school U.A. things like those were highly frowned upon as they were enhancing your energy to perform due to their abnormal amount of caffeine. Right now, you didn’t give a damn, you were going to be up all night and had early morning training with Aizawa and you are exhausted either way. Just trying to pull these long nights to finish on time. The dark circles were aware to you and your sluggish movements during the day meant a lot more effort on your quirk.
The door to your dorm room was still open allowing light from the outside room to shine into your room as well as your small little desk lamp providing you with a little bit of light for you to write and research on your laptop. You had a light but warm blanket wrapped around you as you were cold and it was around you very similarly to Aizawa’s sleeping bag come to think about it. You were generally cold a greater portion of the time but this felt a little different than normal, you were starting to become congested, never a good sign.
You sighed as you dropped your pencil on your papers and took your hands and rubbed your face and sat there for a moment just resting them there. You could hear footsteps down the hall and took it as someone getting up to go to the kitchens for something, it was an often occurrence. It did slip your mind that teachers would take shifts to do monitoring at different times in the night just taking a stroll down the hallways making sure everything was alright. Honestly, most teachers just slacked on it most of the time so it wasn’t a regular thing. It didn’t really dawn on you that the footsteps were getting closer to your room and the kitchen was the opposite direction. 
Usually, hallway patrols took around 10 minutes for teachers to complete which is why they were skipped so often, but Aizawa actually decided to do his tonight. And to his surprise, he saw one door open compared to the rest closed. His first thought was thinking about what was wrong and quickened his pace. But when he reached your door he couldn’t help but examine your hunched over posture wrapped in your blanket and head in hands, surrounded by loose papers, post its, pens, books, and laptop.
He knew you had a little extra course load normally but he didn’t realize it was something you would be doing well into the night, he just figured you were about to balance everything extremely well as you never complained and usually performed well in classes. However, thinking back to the last week you have seemed a little more tired and in a daze resulting in more quirk effort. The overuse of quirks segment of your student file was blank and he never made the effort to find out. 
He continued to stand at your door for another minute and saw the can of energy drink beside you knowing you were a good kid and wouldn’t resort to something as foolish as that without it being a last resort. Aizawa briefly knocked on your door to alert you of his presence. He did have a soft spot for you compared to Midoria or Bakoguo so he was a little more gentle with you.
“Hey kid, what are you still doing up?”
Startled out your state you did a small jump in your desk chair, “Just trying to write this essay. It’s a few weeks overdue and the end of the semester is soon so I need to get this in.”
He took a few steps into your room and stood behind you, “12th-century convents and monasteries in Italy. Hmm, that doesn’t sound very interesting. What kind of class is this for?”
“It’s for my Origins of western though class, medieval through the renaissance. And trust me, it really isn’t, especially when you can’t focus on it at all,” you replied.
“You’re having trouble focusing?” he asked genuinely concerned, he had never heard those words come from you before.
You put your face back in your hands and simply said, “Quirk overuse.”
Aizawa was taken aback for a short moment, you were never one to complain or let someone know when there was something going on, “God kid how long has this been going on?”
“This time? At least since last week.”
“This time? So this isn’t something new?” he was a little shocked since this was the first time he heard of any of your overuse symptoms. 
“God no, there’s also an extra degree of fatigue and the occasional headache. Night terrors are kinda common too.”
“Shit Y\N why have you never mentioned this before?”
“It just never seemed to be all that important really, I’ve handled it by myself for years why start before now?”
“When was the last time you got a decent nights sleep, you’re starting to look like me. You’ve even got the whole blanket thing going for you,” he asked looking at your form sitting at your desk as you shifted in your seat to look at him.
“Uh, you know, that’s a really good question and it’s been long enough that I can’t fully remember. To be truthful, I just want to finish this so I can take a warm shower and go to sleep.”
When you looked at him he got a better look at you. To be truthful you looked horrible and he started to feel bad because it was evident you were working yourself to death, and keeping up with both school lives on top of his added one-on-one training sessions were taking a toll on you. He had also noticed the congestion in your voice, that was never a good sign.
He put his hand on your forehead and you leaned into even though it felt cold to you it still felt nice, “Kid you’re burning up, you have a fever, why don’t you stop for the night and get that shower you want and you can crash on my couch tonight so I can keep an eye on you.”
“With all due respect sir, I need to finish this, my professor has been on me for weeks on end on this. I have to finish it tonight. And I couldn’t possibly bother you with just congestion and small fever.”
Aizawa sighed and took a seat on the edge of your still made bed, “Listen, kid, I’ll let you finish. I'm going to sit here until you're done and you’re coming with me.”
You put your head down as you knew there was no way out of this one. He took a book off your nightstand and began reading it as you continue your work. It took you about 2 more hours and he had managed to doze off wait for you. You look back at him sleeping quietly and simply close your laptop for the night and lay your head down and close your eyes for just a second truthfully, you felt horrible. In the absence of your typing, Aizawa woke up and saw you with your head down and got up and put a hand on your shoulder feeling the elevated body heat from your fever radiating through you. 
He quietly sighed and in his general monotone voice said, “Come on kiddo let’s go, grab some comfy clothes and you can shower back at my room.”
You compiled and went to stand up but immediately the word was spinning and you had to grab onto the desk to steady yourself. He had immediately put a hand around your waist and only your shoulder not wanting you to fall in your sick weakened state.
“Okay, new plan, We’re going straight to my room, I’ll just give you some clothes and you can take a sitting down shower. I don’t want you to exert any more energy and risk you falling and hurting yourself, so I’m going to carry you, is that okay?”
You gave a small nod and he put one arm under your knees and one on your mid-back and you put your arms around his neck and snuggled into his chest feeling small. And quite truthfully, Aizawa did notice you were a little nighter and a little bonier than he expected before, almost as if you had been skipping meals.
Walking with you down the hallway still wrapped in your blanket ha=e quietly asked, “Kid I need you to be honest with me, are you eating?”
You give a small groan in response, “I accidentally forgot for a few days I’ve just been too busy and didn’t realize.”
Aizawa sighed and realized how work-oriented you are, stopping for nothing and not accomplishing things for your health, “I’ll make you some soup while you’re in the shower okay, then will you please eat a little bit of it?”
You simply nodded your head in his chest resulting in a lack of verbal response.
Once making it back to his living quarters he opened the door and was greeted by a cat waiting for him to get back. He closed the door behind both of you and took you to the bathroom and sat you down on the toilet and told you to undress and take a shower, and he would leave clothes and some towels for you in a bit. 
As you did that and carefully sat down at the bottom of the shower and turned the water on you immediately felt the warm water hitting your skin rinsing some of the sick away and you let out a small cough, which didn’t go unnoticed by your teacher leaving a pair of black sweatpants and a charcoal grey sweater that will be much too large for you but are clean clothes you should find comfortable.

No more drama! Well, a Virgo can dream…but the New Year will soon find you settling into more of a regimented groove, the kind of rhythm that feels natural to your systematic sign. Your 2020 was colorful and creative, despite the pandemic, and with more than just a twist of the theatrical. It’s been exciting but exhausting!
As Jupiter and Saturn settle into their first full month in Aquarius, your sixth house of organization and wellness (the “Virgo zone”) become your focal point for much of 2021. Break out the spreadsheets, checklists and fitness trackers. The hedonism of 2020 will give way to a healthy revolution in 2021.
But you can still stretch out the “misbehaving” until January 19, while the Sun visits Capricorn and your fifth house of pleasure and play. Then, El Sol will move into Aquarius and your health sector, getting you back on track with your planning and perfecting!
A lot of intense inner work was demanded of you in the second half of 2020. And while you’ve certainly transformed into a poignantly self-aware version of yourself, you’re eager for a new routine. Good news: That’s coming your way starting early this month. Get ready for long-distance connections, possible travel (within safety limits) and horizon-expanding experiences. It’s time to engage with the wider world again, Virgo—and you’re primed for it!
Just block out January 30 to February 20, when your ruling planet, Mercury, has its first retrograde backspin. Be sure to back up your data and devices and to implement all your important plans before this wonky, signal-scrambling cycle. Week 1: January 1-10
Float like a butterfly
At last, the intensity lifts! On Wednesday, January 6, activator Mars ends an extended six-month trek through Aries and your intimate, tunnel-visioned eighth house. Since June 27, 2020, you’ve been taking quite a dive into your own emotional depths, exploring some raw feelings—whether you wanted to or not. It’s been incredibly eye-opening, but also quite vulnerable and even exquisitely painful at times. And now, your metamorphosis is complete.

With restless Mars and Uranus both in Taurus, your growth-driven ninth house is electrified, and a part of you is eager to throw caution to the wind. But your inner micromanager could make a showing, thanks to Jupiter and cautious Saturn in Aquarius and your organized, analytical sixth house.
It all begins on Wednesday, January 13, when Mclass=”body-el-link standard-body-el-link” ars and Saturn get embroiled in a tense square. The effect is like having one foot on the gas, the other on the brake. A project or plan that’s been zooming along could hit a snag, forcing you to pause and recalibrate your budget and timeline. The ninth house rules travel, but with restrictions on the rise, you’re more likely to book plans out into the future. The Sun-Pluto conjunction could also push you out onto center stage, ready or not. While the Sun is all about visibility, secretive Pluto may make you more reluctant to let it all hang out. Remember: You don’t have to reveal all your deep, dark secrets in order to shine, Virgo. Craft your pitch or choose a few key details of your story, add some compelling headshots and play PR maven for yourself. Your talents deserve to be witnessed!
Ready to break free from limitations? On Sunday, January 17, a once-every-seven-years event occurs as expansive Jupiter and liberated Uranus form a tricky square. Week 3: January 18-24
Done is NOT better than perfect
Cleanup in aisle six…or should we say house six? This week, your sensible and systematic sixth house will be #lit as the Sun blazes into Aquarius until February 18, joining your ruling planet, Mercury, expansive Jupiter and structured Saturn. Since Virgo is the natural governor of this zodiac zone, you’ll be in your element, ready to plan, perfect and purify.
Get out the rubber gloves and trash bags for a major cleaning and decluttering mission. Break out your favorite spreadsheet app, start a new bullet journal or treat yourself to a gorgeous new day planner—whatever makes your orderly Virgoan nature happiest!
But before you start color-coding data cells and bleaching every countertop, stay nimble, Virgo! Speedy Mars is heating up your expansive ninth house this week, distracting you from your due diligence. But some of those divergences could be mighty tempting…so don’t pack your calendar with so many to-dos that you miss out on adventurous side roads.
On Wednesday, January 20, Mars unites with changemaker Uranus in Taurus and your ninth house of growth, adventure and expansion. A sudden opportunity could appear, but you’ll have to move FAST to seize it. They may even feel a strong bond or worship for the person who loves them, but usually it is not the attention of the person, companionship and all the things the person brings to their lives by losing love. So the motive to say "I love you" can sometimes come from an egoistic place versus an authentic place.
People can also try to believe themselves in faith that they are in love because they do not want to hurt the other person. Yet this approach creates more pain for both people on the road and can lead to deep injuries and the loss of confidence.
Some people have not developed a deeper level of self-awareness and attention to really know what they feel inside. They may be confused, afraid or unworthy of love. So, they may not even realize that they are not in love, but simply enjoy the fact that you are in love with them and maybe you are intrigued or fascinated by you. They may have dreamed of having a loving partner like you, but they can not believe that you are real and do not know how to deal with the fact that love has finally been manifested by you.

Signs that you are both in love
People who are in love welcome love and feel so worthy that when a partner gives love, the other partner easily goes back and forth because both people feel good about themselves and their ability to embrace love.
This ease of moving back and forth is also reflected in how people communicate their feelings. Both people feel at ease as they express and initiate and say, "I love you", versus one person who says in the first place: "I love you", while the other person responds with "(I love you too)."
When love is reciprocal, after someone makes love, the romantic expressions and ways of showing how much you value someone else become greater. Physically affectionate behavior increases, such as more hand holding, cuddling and sitting close to in public. So we have an increase in communication, but also actions that back up those words.
Even if love is mutual, both people want to see each other more often and commit themselves to creating quality time to pass on together actively engaged in planning and valuing date nights and sleepover. Both people also share the work and responsibility of planning the date against just one person who does the bulk of the work to figure out where to go and what to do.
So both people create a stream in which they have a high priority for each other's lives. For example, if your loved one is ill or has a difficult time, you actively make it a priority to spend time with your love, even if just watching a movie together or sitting together and talking quietly, instead of choosing to stay with other friends or do some shopping that could be postponed for a day or two.
In addition, people who mutually love each other have healthy limits and strive to share positive energy and to enthusiastically embrace the time they share with each other. They are also willing to plan again if they are not in a room to bring positive energy to others. In other words, both people appreciate creating a positive impact on their partners, versus creating situations where a partner dumps negative energy on the other because of stress or challenges in life. This is a matter of respect and boundary that naturally comes from falling in love - for when we are in deep love, we are conscious to create spaces of positive energy to elevate each other.

Yet some people may think: "If my partner really loves me, all my negative experiences or baggage must be accepted as part of the package of who I am." But think about that after all. Would you really throw smelly garbage at the feet of someone you really love and respect and say, "If you love me, please walk with me through all the trash that I've collected outside this relationship?" That's ridiculous, right? So people who have deep love and mutual respect for each other are careful to check their baggage from the past or emotional waste at the door and keep the energy of the relationship free of negative influences outside of the relationship.
Amorous partners also welcome feedback (both positive and constructive) and look for ways to improve what they do to keep partners happy. When conflicts occur in the relationship, both people are determined to talk it out without being defensive or to make comments such as: "Well if I do not please you or if I am not what you want me to be, maybe we should just put an end to this because with everything I have in my life, I really do not need it. "Instead, people are willing to listen to find out where the gaps lie between what everyone has agreed to be for the other versus what is actually working and working on it without being completely out of shape.

One-sided love, on the other hand, tends to exhaust one partner energetically, emotionally and physically, reducing T cells and other immune cells instead of increasing them so that health can be more easily affected. Signs that love is one-sided
Love is one-sided when one person does the bulk of the relationship's work in terms of making commitments to create quality time, planning data, doing new things as a couple, and getting out of the way for the other to show how much he or she is loved.
Research shows that if someone gives more in love, he or she experiences a greater degree of love for another person, because oxytocin, the love hormone that allows us to identify more intimately with others, is released when loving behavior and give behavior. Yet research also shows that the recipient of loving behaviors can experience less of a feeling of being in love because only receiving does not activate activation of oxytocin. Reciprocation is the act that delivers oxytocin and creates an energetic completion of the cycle of giving that deepens a sense of trust, intimacy and the feelings of mutual love.

Find out if your date is a natural giver and a person who enjoys feeding and pampering others. During the pursuit of dating, people will often struggle to be givers. Pay attention to how the person behaves after you have brought the relationship to a deeper level through love companies. Sex is about the mutual exchange of energy and if love (one of the strongest energies we can feel) is not mutual, this imbalance will often manifest itself as a challenge in achieving a sexual climax with a partner.
Unless there is a physical or medical reason that hinders the sexual climax, there is no reason why a couple in deep love would not experience sexual orgasms. Why is this important in a love relationship? The climactic action together releases oxytocin, which creates an intimate bond and increases the feelings of love.
People who do not let themselves be completely relaxed in love or are not in love unknowingly deny themselves the intimacy of a climax with a partner and may not recognize that their bodies tell them that they are not really allowing themselves to connect with their partner through love. Sometimes fears, problems with trust, uncertainties, feelings of unworthiness or emotional baggage of past relationships can also be factors that do not allow themselves this level of sexual and emotional intimacy. In any case, the body clearly communicates that there are blockades around intimacy, and without intimacy mutual love can not thrive and grow.
This challenge in the sexual arena can also be influenced by events outside the bedroom, where there may be an inequality around the priority level that both people are willing to create space for each other in their lives. * Your partner gives you crumbs of time and adapts to all the many things in his or her life, versus making advanced plans to spend non-distracting time with you.
* Your partner participates and makes other activities that are not time-sensitive, a higher priority than spending time with you.
* Your partner will not hesitate to ask you for favors that require you to sacrifice your time and energy, but when it's time to answer, the partner says his or her plate is too full of other obligations and can even get angry and say that you expect or want too much if you express disappointment or pain that your partner did not forget the priority and energy you give him or her.
It is important to ask yourself whether you see these behaviors as a lack of priority. Therefore, why would you be an option if you deserve the priority?
Finally, people in unilateral relationships will unconsciously sabotage the relationship to the end because it is not what they really want - but again this behavior often comes from the sphere of their conscious awareness.
These are the partners who suddenly start acting aloof or negligent or become defensive when you try to talk to them. They essentially drive you away, but try to make it seem as if your expectations are unrealistic or demanding. These are particularly harmful partners in relationships, because instead of acknowledging that their inability to feel comfortable with you or embrace love is the source of their fear, they are trying to blame the partner. This can leave the partner who loved and was very wounded and in a state of shock, self-doubt and pain.
How to deal with the one-sided relationship
Love is a miracle and life is too short to enter into relations that are one-sided. If you suspect or feel that you have a one-sided love affair, follow these strategies:
Make your partner aware that you feel that things are not mutual in terms of support, expressions of love, priority etc.
If your partner really loves you, he or she increases the behavior to balance, rather than just saying, "You're right, I'm not behind my part of the relationship." Actions speak more than words. Do not just accept words.
After sharing your concerns with your partner, spend them a month or so to observe shifts in behavior and share more feedback. If you still do not see positive and consistent change, or if you experience an increase in unsupportive or selfish behavior, appreciate yourself enough to end the relationship.
Avoid being dramatic and just say, "I really feel that the relationship is one-sided, so I'm going back a step and letting you go because I earn more."
When you choose to end the relationship, make sure you surround yourself with loving support from family and friends and immerse yourself in activities that awaken your mind to heal the wound that comes from loving someone who does not love on the same level.
Also hold tight to your limits, because often when you retire from people who enjoyed your affection, but do not really pay back to the level you earn, they will suddenly step up their efforts. But this is not about being in love with you. This is about missing what you bring into their lives. So you have to be strong and not withdraw in the relationship, because as soon as you enter into the relationship again, they will fall back into the same pattern because they are not sincere and unselfishly in love with you. Remember that you gave the person the opportunity to go into different behavior, but they chose not to do so. So save yourself the time, energy and pain of reintroducing such a person and instead embrace the idea that you deserve mutual unselfish love with a partner who is truly in space to welcome and respond to everything you need to share.

Stress – Why adrenals are the wrong target
When a person experiences “stress” for long periods of time, it’s now well documented that this hormonal response contributes to most if not all chronic pain syndromes. Whether it’s an older person whose stress response is from an inflamed brain and presents itself as poor brain endurance, achy joints, and poor digestion (one of the first signs of poor brain function) or whether it’s a younger person who is pushing their brain too hard, working too long, overstimulating their brain with too many personal devices and TV time, and getting too little sleep, stress hormones are highly destructive to human physiology.
When the level of stress becomes “a problem” for people the majority of medical practitioners (unknowingly) and alternative practitioners (knowingly) first address the adrenal glands. Drugs for stress, anxiety, and panic attacks are among the most prescribed drugs in America. They mostly address adrenal function. “You can’t fix anything until you fix the adrenal glands” – has been an alternative practitioner mantra since the 1960’s. Adrenal Glandulars, B Vitamins, Adaptocrine Herbs, certain minerals are all attempts to return the adrenals to normal function.
However, the adrenals are not the problem. The true problem lies in the brain stress pathways and general brain degeneration (wear and tear, inflammation). The adrenals themselves are simply cortisol (stress hormone) factories, putting out stress hormones in response to directions from the brain. Chronic stress causes them to over produce cortisol, bombarding both the brain and the body with stress hormones. The adrenals may become over exhausted from wear and tear and then begin to be unable to make enough cortisol. (The body needs not too much or too little cortisol but just the right amount) Then the body cannot muster enough energy (because the adrenals work to make energy too) to respond to even mild life chemical or pathological stressors such as a common viral infection or a bad day at work, and fatigue sets in. Although there are times when adrenal glands indeed need and respond (temporarily) to nutritional support, it is better to address the true core cause – that is to strengthen and support brain function and if present, slow brain degeneration. Treating the brain will relieve the over activation of the adrenals – and a number of other neurological imbalances at the same time.
How does one do that? Our mentor taught us to first look at poor brain endurance and its causes. Is that person getting enough Omega 3’s or Methyl B-12? Do you have low serotonin or GABA (neurotransmitter chemicals that calm your brain down)? Do you have anemia (the brain needs enough O2 not to get stressed or degenerated) or do you have blood sugar imbalances (the brain needs blood sugar to work- but just the right amount – kind of like cortisol)
Or do you just need to calm down. Easier said than done. But on a practical level, maybe your brain just needs more of the proper type of stimulation – such as walking outside, engaging in social activities, working on intellectually stimulating problems, making more time for yourself or more gentle exercises and less of the detrimental stimulations: overly full activity schedules, too much television, IPhone, computer time, and too little sleep. These are legitimate baseline lifestyle strategies that may help.
If these stress strategies are not sufficient for your level of brain stress, then it may be appropriate to move on to the next “level of” addressing brain stress mechanisms.
Should these levels of care not calm the overwrought or fatigued adrenals then – and only then – should you turn to the next level of care. This approach starts with the adrenal adaptogens. Although they are called adrenal adaptogens, these herbs do not work on the adrenal glands, but instead on the stress pathways in the brain (the correct target) particularly the hippocampus (short term memory loss and circadian rhythm, poor sleep area, and off button for the stress cycle). Starting to see the non-adrenal first pattern? Even the herbs that work best address the brain. These adaptogens include ashwagandha, Panax Ginsing, Rhodiola Rosea, Holy Basal Extract, and Eleuthero Extract. These are all powerful botanicals that impact brain chemistry and brain pathology stress responses in a positive way. Some work better for one person than another and for some others these botanicals will have a greater effect when used in combination. It is best to consult a professional on this point.
Should you continue to experience “stress” symptoms after this step, then proceeding to herbal and nutritional compounds for brain inflammation (extremely common) can offer further support and improvement. Supporting brain inflammation should be considered especially if in addition to classic adrenal fatigue or stress symptoms you are experiencing brain fog or have some other systemic inflammation (i.e., gut, burning nerves, autoimmune problems). If your entire body is inflamed you may also have aches and pains everywhere as an indicator of systemic inflammation affecting brain function.
Chronic stress hormonal responses can also cause constriction of blood vessels leading to poor oxygenation of the brain.
