𓍊𓋼 Gassho Meditation: A Basic Overview 𓋼𓍊

What Is Gassho?

Literally translating to “two hands coming together,” Gassho is a form of meditation utilized in many spiritual practices & religions, including Buddhism, Hinduism, and Jainism.

Furthermore, Gassho is the first fundamental pillar of Reiki, and it also functions as a formal greeting!

The Goals of Gassho

The practice of Gassho involves meditating while placing your palms together with your thumbs touching your heart chakra.

The goals of Gassho are to:

Tune out the outside world & clear your mind

Create space to cultivate awareness of and listen to your inner monologue

Awaken the chakras in your hands—that is, the energy centres in the palms of your hands :)

Help cultivate and hold an intention of gratitude

Open your heart

Strengthen your connection to Reiki (if you so choose! You do not have to learn / know Reiki to engage in Gassho 🙃)

The Practice

To engage in Gassho, you create a circuit between the chakras in your hands and your heart. To do Gassho, you…

Get comfortable (meditating is hard when you’re uncomfy!)

Close your eyes

Fold your hands into the prayer position with your thumbs touching your heart chakra

Focus on the space between the palm chakras (alternatively, you can focus on your middle fingers if that’s easier!)

Meditate as long as you can. The goal is to do Gassho for up to 30 minutes, but any time spent is a gift, even if it’s just 3-5 minutes :)

If you find your mind wandering, remember to:

Observe

Gently refocus yourself and remember that it’s normal to get distracted

If it helps, you can press your middle fingers together

Don’t worry or focus on the fact that you’re distracted. It’s normal, and worrying about it will create a spiral. Just gently refocus yourself :)

Remember

Don’t worry about doing it perfectly. You don’t need perfect posture or complete, unbroken focus. Like all meditation, Gassho is a tool you may use to help bring peace of mind and gratitude :)

The hard work will pay off, the lesson is of confidence that is attached to your career life right now. Spirit channel solutions through your logic. Your work can be very hectic, underpaid and not in good working conditions. I also see few of you are being called you follow your soul purpose - this message is for specific people if you feel something when you read this line then the message is for you. Your strength are you can read people well, easily analyse what will happen, you are not scared to put your full efforts. What you need to keep in mind is - try not letting others take away credit of your work. Someone who can be your friend is a fox and not your friend. More like not loyal I got a lot of gossips too. I don’t see too many astrologers talking about this transit.

Neptune has been at the 29° and this signifies we are truly at end of an era!

Neptune entered Pisces in 2011 and will leave next year in 2025.

Neptune represents the collective subconscious, spirituality, creative downloads, isolation, the ocean, our mental health, hospitals

29°(Leo degree) is known “anaretic degree” this degree rules over ending of cycles. This leo shines light on what we are finishing up learning.

So what does this mean a a collective?

-oh hunny we are healing! We as a collective have been dealing with serious discussions regarding mental health. People have become more open about it now compared to past generations.

-addictions of all kinds has also been a huge topic these last 14 years! We’ve seen/heard or even know people are working to become sober, have been sober or struggling with it.

-hospital stays, the pandemic literally happened during this transit. Pisces rules over immune diseases and mucus. Isolation, we were quarantined and isolated from the people. Pisces rules over isolation.

-the ocean! Chile.. the orcas. Billionaires passing away in the ocean trying to see the titanic and there’s a new cruise ship that’s set to embark next year. There’s been recalls on fish, heavy rain falls.

-spirituality! Astrology has become mainstream and somewhat normalized especially in the Pluto Sag generation. Even if you’re not into astrology, I’ve seen people become reiki healers, holistic healers. With Uranus being in Taurus, natural healing remedies are popular. Spiritual retreats or just vacationing near water destinations have been popular

-scams! With spirituality becoming mainstream, here comes the cons and frauds. Pisces rules over frauds. Not just in the spiritual community but in a religious communities. With Saturn in Pisces , so much corruption has been brought to light. “Are you in this to enlighten the masses or your pockets?” This is the question that Saturn is checking to see. With Neptune at 29°, this is what we are ending and clearing.

You know what else I’ve noticed? So many spiritual folks leaving and joining religion such as Christianity being the biggest one I’ve noticed. This is interesting because Pisces is connected to Christianity, it’s said Yeshua(Jesus) is connected to Pisces. I’ve also noticed the other side of this where religious people are becoming more spiritual. It’s been an interesting phenomenon to witness as an astrologer and connecting the dots!

-the afterlife! Pisces rules the spirit realm, so many people are embracing there spiritual gifts, even the non believers are starting to believe in something that’s bigger than themselves. -the truth! Chile..what is the truth??? Everyone has their own version of it and reality is somewhere in lost in the sauce, where all just winging it hoping for the best. That’s Pisces energy! Timelines is a huge topic, what timeline are you on? Pisces doesn’t have time because it’s boundless. It’s the void and smoke and mirrors lol

-celebrity! Chile…. The topic of celebrity worship has become a huge topic of discussion and how unhealthy it is. Chapelle Roan is the recent celebrity that’s setting boundaries with fans, I believe she’s a Pisces too lol. Pisces rules over glamour and idols. Hollywood is a Sun 12h(Pisces house). Celebs are people who bleed, eat and shit like us. They just have nicer toilets than us 🤪. I don’t think it’ll ever go away because celebrity worship have been around forever but we are more self aware at how unhealthy it is!!! Also, think of the celebs who have talked about how tough the industry really is.

These are just some of the themes and topics I’ve seen the last 14 years , even more so in the last few lol.

You sometimes used to get triggered when you triggered people by existing. Now you've worked on forgiving your triggers and seeing them from a neutrality mindset. You can see this happening before it happens. You have pattern recognition and saw that was identified as a likely outcome. They usually win the battle by lying, scamming, and stealing but you always win the war. You are ridiculously protected everywhere you go. You are shielded by archangels, angels, beings, guides and ascended masters. The other shoe is not going to drop. Only ex's will come back who are wolves in sheep's clothing. And It is not your responsibility to ensure that they grow and it never was. The growth is inevitable and so is your growth. So you never have to force growth to happen.

You never have to make things happen. You must let things happen to you and be the observer and learn from the experiences without letting it ruffle your feathers and make you spiral into negative trains of thought. When those negative thoughts come up just become aware and say, "Stop. Reset. Everything is all and well. Everyone is going to be alright. Everyone is on their own path. Everything is working in my favor despite what it looks like. I'm benefiting from this in some way and no negative thought has power over my vibration." Then smile, breathe, know it's all serving you and it doesn't matter how or when, it just will solve itself on its own. Let your burdens dissipate into the nothingness that they really are and give them all to Source. Source is concerned with what's concerning you. Trust me.

Let your angels and guides help you transmute any negative energy sent your way. "I instantly cancel and negate this negative energy and I send it back to the receiver as a reflection of themselves. I send it back as the spirit of a mirror." Then say, "Angels, guides, please take this energy no longer serving me and transmute it into love and light for the highest good of all." These people causing you to feel bad about yourself, or having a negative perception of yourself are actually realizing how important you are in their life because without you they would have stayed the same. I recommend finding a reiki practitioner or chi energy healer you can find them on YouTube or tiktok to remove negative energy from your aura that is causing you to have a false negative perception of yourself and weighed down with false illusions of negativity that don't belong to you. It's normal it's apart of being human.

But that is not who you are when you can't recognize yourself in the mirror. That's their limiting, false, negative beliefs about themselves being projected onto you. Forgive them because they don't know anything about you or what they are doing. They just know it feels better to project onto you then to heal themselves. Don't worry about anything. People actually really miss you when you exit their lives for good and even when you leave for just a while. Because they wanted you to go away so badly so you would stop pressing on their wounds unintentionally but your energy is actually so filled with light and love and true authenticity that it's irreplaceable and they can't find you in anyone else they interact with. Now they're super bored, their lives are depressing and it's not as interesting without you.

Don't worry nothing can touch you. They can't hurt you anymore because now you know how to stand up for yourself and you have an entire army behind you ready to handle those bothering you. They may test that assumption at their own convenience and find out for themselves you really are chosen and it's not just a silly name you gave yourself. Keep slaying those dragons and demons.
