#Redesign challenge

Tried to redesign meta knight if he was a boss in some kind of dark souls like world. I think it turned all right. The long arms are of putting but also very silly, i think it works. One of the hardest parts was figuring out what to do with the body. Meta knight is just a ball, and makeing him just a human(noid) would be lazy for what the goal was. So i ended up making everything but the body/head(and the legs) bigger. I had to give him a tail(?) to attach the wings properly together, the way the original design did it wouldn't work for a dark souls inspired design. I considered making the arms and wings connected but ended up making the independent. I like to think they aren't actually his arms but actually some kind of necromancy hehe. Anyway

So uh

I redesigned two characters from Undertale for funsies. Like I love Undertale's designs so this is completely for fun and not a criticism or anything. Just me adding details I wish we're on the characters :3

Anyway

First up is ofc my girlie undyne. She is the only woman I want to be and sadly I can't be a gay butch fish lady so I'll just be a gay, genderless plague doctor

So really all I did was add more fish features. And stole her hair. Gave her a super cool fin thingy in stead because yes.

Next is sans.

Guys I'm sorry I'm a visor sans enthusiast.

Also I think he would keep a pillow under his shirt. Why? FOR NAPPING OFC.

I made a different version of her. It's more like body type (like in my universe) and outfit changes. I can agree, the current outfit looks good, but since she's a spy, she needs an outfit similar to it. Also two versions: with bow tie and just a tie.

Tysm for this man, I love how you went with a more spy approach to her outfit! Would you mind if I have this outfit be an alternate clothing choice for her? -Mega

Here’s my fluttershy design challenge thing I will do multiple redesign challenge things . The brown things on feet aren’t hooves there actually brown shoes based on the shoes most nature explorers wear . I decided to give her a common natrual eye color with dark brown eyes . I wanted to experiment and gave her green hair . I love bows so gave her pink bow . She also has a brown adventure bag . Changed cutie mark to green heart to show love and connection to nature . Her tail actually has a braid in it and her mane a ponytail .

I made her an alicorn due to her special animal connections

Another redesign. I have two other characters planned, beyond that I might take requests? I definitely know I want to tackle some ghoul designs. I need Grendel levels of disfigurement and terror, otherwise I can’t tell if these guys are in fact cursed. Also, sorry, but I don’t feel bad for Rogio at all. He literally acts/says things like some of my toxic former significant others and I can’t stand him.

Mental chains my ass.

Anyway, with this design I scrapped the bolo tie. I know it’s just something carried over from Spartacus, so I left it out. Plus these characters are not getting clothing unless it’s something they can sensibly “wear”. Not going to add daggers as well. Unless the aliens came down and taught them how to fight with weapons, I’m not buying that dogs know how to use them correctly without destroying their own mouths.

Scars from escaping MT, though they were present in the original designs. Just different placement. He was another character that you could hardly see in some panels, so definitely corrected the contrast between both major colors.
