Dug through the archives and unearthed some old fanart from a few years ago! The first time I drew some of the demons-

I can't sleep so I'd like to offer up some general redacted headcanons I have, and that I've talked about briefly in other posts but haven't expanded on.

Out of the D.A.M.N crew, Freelancer is the clingiest. Surprisingly Damien is the second clingiest. He's a lot more subtle about it than Freelancer, though. Damien is the 'standing/sitting close enough that you're touching but don't say anything or he'll move' clingy. He canonically has a hard time with physical contact, but I like to think that around the crew he's a lot more comfortable with casual contact.

David listens to music 80% of the time. 10% of the time he's humming to himself. The other 10% he's tapping his fingers. He grew up around people who constantly listened to almost every kind of music there is. When David listens to music he feels at peace because he feels his family through the lyrics. (Projecting big time music's always been important to me)

Camelopardalis is very accepting of his demonic nature and appearance (vega is as well but for different reasons) Cam still presents as mostly human, but he has horns, a long tail, his skin is tinted sage green and white (vitiligo), his iris' are turquoise, and his sclera are black, occasionally appearing cracked when he is in distresss. He wears very unique clothing and rarely repeats an outfit. He stands about 6'5 without his horns added height.

Huxley and Dear go hiking together as often as possible. They both love talking to eachother, or just enjoying nature quietly together. Dear likes listening to Hux talk about his house projects and the plants he grows at home. Huxley likes listening to Dear talk about any of their special interests, but he really enjoys when they talk about moths. Dear has an extensive mental library of moth facts and can ramble for hours if given the opportunity.

Freelancer is an aspiring tattoo artist and has practiced on every member of the crew, including gavin. (Idk if demons can actually get tattooed, but for the sake of my sanity, i don't want to try and figure out how)

Azmidi leaves Sweetie gifts around the house when they go to work. They vary in type of gift, but its typically something sparkly that makes cool patterns when light hits it

Guy collects di and dnd mini figures. His favorite set is one that Honey got him. There's 3 mini's, and one full set of dice. The dice are swirled red and orange in various shades and combinations. The mini's are designs he came up with that Honey had custom made as an anniversary present. One for him, one for them, and one of their cat. (Guys is a kobold)

Baabe and Sam collect records and banter at each other about who's is more extensive. They also play chess during pack meetings when they're both there. The record is 34-35 in Sam's favor. Baabe is a very respectful loser, but they are definitely still ticked off that someone is able to beat them regularly. The only other person to beat them is David. Their record is 1-1.

Hudson made an entire album to commemorate the people lost during the inversion, and it's how he's coped along with a lot of therapy.

Anton is the second biggest wolf in his pack (idk if it's been established which one he's part of yet?) Regardless he is only second to the alpha of whatever pack he's in. His partner loves it when he shifts and lays on them like a weighted blanket

Christian has a hard time expressing emotion, similar to David he just doesn't have the kind of personality where vulnerability is something that's regularly expressed. There was one time when he and Ash really got into it with eachother. They weren't on speaking terms for a few days because of a mutual misunderstanding. After they had a little time to cool off the two of them had a very long conversation about why it is Christian felt resentful towards Asher because he was named beta. They're a lot closer now and go surfing together sometimes

Guy and Honey both aspire to be the kind of people that little kids tell their parents they want to be like. They both have immaculate fashion senses and go thrifting all the time for more stuff to add. One time they were at a festival and Honey was wearing big platform boots, crazy hair colors, fun earrings, a ring on every other finger each one unique, a corset with sheer lace in the back that when resting looks almost like a skirt, their bag covered in patches and pins (guy was wearing a similar get up.) A kid came up to Honey and told them that they looked like a prince (my Honey is masc presenting) they still smile when they think about that day.

Brachium has never had tea, but if he did drink it, he would like hibiscus tea

Redacted Characters Who...

[Vaguely angsty edition]

[I've seen a couple people use this kind of format n thought I'd give it a try,, not sure if I did it right.]

✩ Asher who says “I love you” like punctuation in a sentence. Who tells everyone he loves as often as possible just to make sure they know. Who ends every phone call with “I love you” out of habit because you never know when the last time will be.

✩ Lasko who rambles as a way to get information out as quickly as possible without getting interrupted. Who was taught early in life that his input was less important than his mom's. Who always assumes he's annoying people as soon as he opens his mouth.

✩ David who hates saying “goodbye”. Who says “talk to you later” or “see you at [insert date/event]” instead. Who is superstitious that somehow, if he says goodbye, it'll be the last time.

✩ Elliott who automatically assumes he's unwelcome in any given situation. Who hovers around the outskirts of friendly gatherings, only speaking when spoken to. Who thought for years that Aaron felt the same way about him that their parents did.

✩ Milo who gets uncomfortable around alcohol and cigarettes. Who avoids big events where strangers will be drinking. Who always makes sure people get home safe and has the best hangover cures.

✩ Damien who is an overachiever to make up for his “shortcomings”. Who thinks his personality and emotions are inherently negative traits that need to be balanced out with academic success. Who sent his mom test scores after coming out in a last ditch effort to “make it up to her”.

✩ Gavin who knows he'll outlive everyone he cares about. Who knows he'll never love anyone like he loves Freelancer. Who spent so long without any meaningful relationships that he doesn't know what he'll do once he's alone again.

✩ Huxley who loves with every fiber of his being. Who gives everyone the benefit of the doubt, even when he knows they don't deserve it. Who changed himself for years because he was scared of being “too much”.

✩ Porter who keeps everyone at arm's length. Who pretends to be cold and emotionless to protect the people he cares about. Who has never known a life of comfort and gentleness and doesn't know how to accept one.

✩ Sam who learned to fight so he could survive. Who got caught up with the wrong crowd after escaping Mont Blanc. Who still dreams about the life he could've had if he'd never gotten involved with Alexis.

✩ Camelopardalis who never feels good enough. Who believes his struggles to deal with the traumatic memories he's taken makes him weak. Who feels guilty for needing a therapist.

✩ Guy who wishes he earned more money to provide for Honey. Who regrets his degree every time a publisher rejects him. Who is so grateful that his partner supports his dream despite all the setbacks.

Headcanons about jewelry and accessories that redacted characters wear, and short backstories on how I think the charms were acquired. Plus a few sketches of the jewlery

Milo - he wears a lot of jewelry and has a lot of charms in his hair. Most of his jewelry he got himself, but there's 3 that are gifts. One from his Ma that's a family heirloom saphire dangling from a golden cuff he wears in his ear, a small gold cross on a necklace that Gabe gifted him when he got confirmed (ex catholic milo. He doesn't practice anymore, but the necklace has a sentimental meaning), and a golden promise band with an emerald inlaid that Sweetheart gave him after everyone else got engaged.

Vincent - He uses mobility aids. I think he was born with something like Hypermobile EDS that carried into being a vampire. As a result, he uses braces on his fingers and wrists. I don't have a lot of specific thoughts, just that every single one of the aids are custom made by commissioned artists. The finger ones are like decorative rings. The wrist ones are designed to look like leaves. I also saw a headcannon (I'm pretty sure it was from @us3rnam3-r3dact3d originally) that the Solaires all have some kind of jewelry or tool with a gemstone from Williams collection. I think Vincent's would be either a ring or necklace that he only really wore on special occasions

David - He isn't a really big jewelry person, he only wears his wedding ring on a chain around his neck tucked right over his heart. He also regularly wears the leather jacket Asher gave him because it feels safe as his dad's did when he was a teenager

Elliott - a golden sun shaped stud earing that Sunshine got him on their 1st anniversary. They get him a new sun themed piece of jewelry every year as a joke along with a second more genuine gift

Sunshine - a spinning fidget ring Aaron's partner gifted them when they met

Darlin - silver hair charms and a black leather bracelet with silver connectors that Gabe gifted them. They don't wear the bracelet much these days because they don't want anything to happen to it, but they keep it right next to their bed along with a necklace Sam gave them

Porter - a silver band ring with amethyst and sapphire inlaid that Treasure got a craft fair for him. He also has a stone from William but it's less of a cherished gift and more like a brand that he has to bear in honor of his role in the clan. It's an earing. Now that he's learning it's ok to have separation, he usually takes it off around Treasure, Vincent, and Sam

Gavin - he wears an unreasonable amount of jewelry sometimes. Usually though it's 3 rings on each hand, earrings, charms on his horns, a lip ring, and a tongue ring. He also keeps a piece of each of his friends on him at all times. Each of them have gifted him an earing at some point and it's the only thing he wears 24/7

Damien - gold eyebrow ring and a gold/green ring that Huxley gave him for his birthday when they were on vacation

Lasko - stainless steel ring with golden laurel designs that Dear gave him, and a very small dangling d20 charm as an earing

Huxley - isn't big on jewlery but wears a watch that Damien gave him for their anniversary. He also wears a beanie with silk on the inside that was a gift from FL

Freelancer - sounds like a Keychain jingling when they walk. They have so many piercings, and every single one has a different piece of hardware in it. Plus, the necklaces, rings, braclets, and charms. Their favorites are a set of rings the crew had commissioned for them for their birthday one year

Camelopardalis - jade earings that he found at a human craft fair. He also has a pair of glasses and a decorative chain that they're attached to so he can keep them around his neck

Gabe - he wore his wedding ring on his ring finger and his wife's wedding ring and engagement band on a chain around his neck

David's ring has their anniversary engraved in it but I couldn't get it to show up in the picture

Random Redacted Headcanons

✩ David had braces in middle school

✩ Sam loves dark chocolate in any form,  especially dark chocolate chips straight from the freezer

✩ Asher hates the way sleeves feel on his arms and almost exclusively wears tank tops if he's wearing a shirt at all

✩ Aggro insists on following Sweetheart everywhere and screams if they close a door in his face

✩ Ollie is the youngest of his siblings

✩ Aaron enjoys trying new colognes and analyzing their scent profiles

✩ Ivan has a standing desk

✩ Vincent and Lovely have absolutely gotten red and blue slurpees respectively and tried to make their tongues purple

✩ Geordi cooks / bakes as his “me time” and gets anxious when anyone else is in the kitchen with him

✩ Guy has strong opinions about pineapple on pizza and will explain the history of “Hawaiian” pizza anytime the subject is brought up

✩ Damien is sensitive to the textures in food so Huxley usually tries the first bite of new foods to make sure the texture is acceptable

✩ Gavin has a soft spot for cheek kisses 

✩ Milo hums songs stuck in his head rather than singing them 

✩ Lasko prefers tables over booths at restaurants 

✩ Camelopardalis enjoys knitting in his free time - Since he doesn't have to wear actual clothes, he usually donates his finished projects
