Dustborn is the most interesting game of 2024, i am baffled and enamored by every sentence,each new scene brings with it more knee slapping derangement. Most videos are only reaching for the surface level, and twitter people are just saying "le woke immigrant song game" I promise you these people have not passed the 1h mark and have no idea how weird it gets, it has been festering in my mind with each horrible, horrible decision each character makes, dustborn for me falls under the "so bad its good" metric for sure

Build a Lasting Relationship With the Robot – At first, the colossus barely acknowledges you. Over time, your bond strengthens. Assist the robot with repairs, install upgrades, and unlock new ways to interact. In return, the metal giant will aid you on your journey—locating secrets hidden in the desert, lifting you past obstacles, shielding you from threats, fighting back against hostile war machines.

Scavenge, Craft, Progress – Salvage resources from supply drops and storage units, scavenge downed war machines, military stations and abandoned settlements. At night, use a Sunshine Recycler to break loot into base components, and craft gear, tools and weapons to improve your odds of survival.

Deploy your Little Guys – Assemble and program helper bots to automate and assist in common tasks like gathering resources, mapping terrain, hunting prey, and defending against drone attacks.

Piece Together the Mystery of a Broken World – Sunshine sold humanity a brighter future. I don’t know what Dustborn looks like in the future. Will Millennials, Gen Z, Gen Alpha and the future think “this was ahead of its time” or just shrug at it? What does “woke” look like in the future compared to what “woke” looks like now? Will Black Girls like this? Will Pax be a role model for young women?

These are questions I don't know the answer to.
