Got random ideas for a shattered glass au for TFP and RB and im sharing them here
Starting with TFP, Optimus would definitely be in the place of Megatron, as Autobots are evil here. SG!Optimus is a ruthless and cold tyrant that shows zero mercy towards anyone, not even his fellow Autobots. He sees the Autobots as minions and pawns he could dispose of ay any minute, he only keeps the useful ones.
SG!Ratchet is a cold-sparked and cynical medic, who is willing to use his fellow Autobots to get the results he wants. He may be a medic, but he's not afraid to get his servos dirty to get his results.
SG!Bulkhead is a wrecker who is always angry, always snapping or lashing out at something or someone. He doesn't care one bit about anything or anyone he breaks, as he enjoys the feeling of wrecking and the destruction that he intentionally causes, having a cruel and arrogant demeanor. Due to that, he has broken many of Ratchet's gadgets, causing the two to despise each other and willing to sacrifice the other.
SG!Arcee is a sly and cowardly femme, willing to scarifice anyone that is in her way as long as she gets out alive in the end, having a cold-sparked and cruel demeanor. She has plans to overthrow Optimus, as she sees herself to be more of a fit to be the leader of the Autobots. She and SG!Airachnid have quiet a history together, considering she had killed her previous partner before her very optics, and was the reason her partner, Skyquake, had fallen.
SG!Bumblebee is a loyal and silent scout, as his voicebox had been ripped out by Optimus himself as a punishment for disobeying him and a warning for the others, yet he sees that he deserved the punishment. He has eyes everywhere on the Ark, always knowing what is happening and relaying to Optimus. He is merciless on the battlefield and will not hesitate to off his opponents if necessary.
SG!Wheeljack is a cold and calculating scientist wrecker, who's experiments are bizzare and almost inhumane. He is a servant of logic first and foremost rather than a servant of Optimus. He does not care for anyone, simply seeing all of them as tools to further his experiments, which perfectly describes his relationship with Bulkhead.
SG!Ultra Magnus is a wrecker commander who is loyal to Optimus and the Autobots, but rarely does he take anything seriously. Yes, he gets the job done but he is, what Bulkhead and Wheeljack describe, a fool who does not deserve his title or his respect, a sentiment that is shared by everyone but Optimus, as the Prime doesn't care if Ultra Magnus is annoying or not, simply seeing him as a useful pawn he can manipulate and use.
SG!Smokescreen is mature and calculating, despite his young age. The rookie takes everything seriously, never joking around at all. Smokescreen is one of the only two bots that Bumblebee seems to have taken a liking to, often seen with him or nearby when a bot seeks one of the two out.
Now Recue Bots, who aren't exactly Rescue Bots.
In this SG universe, they are a faction that was founded by the Autobots and full of gladiators, wreckers and criminals, to cause disasters for the Autobots to come and swoop in and "save the day", to be the knights in shining armors and deceive the rest of Cybertron. But, the Rescue bots had defected, refusing to cause these disasters no more, which angered Optimus, a lot. SG!Heatwave and his team had managed to escape Optimus in their spaceship, having to go in stasis to hide their life signals away from the Autobots, the others were not as lucky.
I still don't know what to do for the Rescue Bots, i have ideas but I'm still working on them so yeah
I just wanted to ramble about this

Woah! I was just discussing System Collapse with a friends and pointing out how much I love:
Also, while I could understand Tarik's confusion, Ratthi wasn't wrong. I ran a quick query on hatch shape in my media storage, focusing on popular adventure and suspense/horror dramas and the high incidence of hazardous fauna, raiders, human and/or bot murderers, and/or magical fauna, unidentified but terrifying dark presences, and straight up monsters associated with round hatches.
I sent the results into the team feed
ART-drone said, You wasted processing space on that?
"Eighty percent," Ratthi said, genuinely shocked. "I thought I was making a joke."
As the ramp lowered, Iris swung up onto it. "It's not the shape of the hatch," she said, "it's the symmetry of the columns to either side."
I said, "I'm not running the query again."
I mean, I love this bit because I have obsessively graphed stuff like the use of fuck and asshole and investigated Murderbot’s relationship with chairs…and so this felt like such a vindication of all that time processing space
BUT my friend said “I could only think of Giger’s passage series” so I had to share…
Round hatches passages are terrifying

[Tommy and the gang are debating if they should help a desperate Proto-boy rescue his Dear one or not.]
Gus: Oh my gob, make a decision already!
[Tommy stops pacing and grimaces when he sees Gus is eating a pot of sludge he threw out of his fridge that morning.]
Tommy: Are you eating the nine month old soup?! *to Robot-boy* Is he eating the soup?
Robot-bot, frowning: Yes.
Gus: I'm sorry, I was hungry, I made a decision to eat the soup. I didn't sit around thinking all day "Hey, do I do this? Do I not do this?"
Lola: Gus, we’re making a decision about whether or not to save a girl’s life! Not whether or not to eat old rancid soup!
[Sick of watching them all bicker a frustrated Proto-boy let’s out an angry roar, he super activates (Along with Robot-boy in retaliation)]
Proto-boy: ENOUGH! You will help Proto-boy recue his darling… or else!
Gus, hiding behind Robot-boy’s leg: Or else what?
Proto-bot, scans the room and locks on to a target: You will help Proto-Boy... Or Proto-boy will blow up Game-station 5, along with Tommy’s house...
(Proto-boy Attaches a small remote controlled bomb to the new Gaming console Tommy got for his birthday.)
[Needless to say, everyone agreed very quickly.]

terrible arknights event proposals number 2829: a musical event just like that one buffy episode where all of rhode's island is randomly bursting into song and nobody knows why and all the music-themed operators have to do an Epic Teamup to solve the mystery

Arnold: The Supervisor of RD-4
Arnold walked among the ships and crates, no, boxes, that were on the landing pad. There was a lot to do. From fueling the ships using the custom fuel the Corporation produced, to loading the ships with the gear necessary for this mission, to overseeing the last-minute training for the newer employees. That was what he had finished doing actually, specifically ensuring that the employees knew how to land on uneven terrain with the locking mechanisms.
As the employees left to load the ship with supplies, his caught were caught on a cyborg. He just had an eye replaced, with metal surrounding it. To the cyborg, he was sure that was meant to be cool, but it just seemed like a wasteful fad that would come back to bite them later in Arnold’s eyes. This was not the real point issue at play though, as the cyborg quickly turned away to his work in fear and shame. After all, the cyborg had accused Arnold of not being fit for his role, worried that he had just been a rescued ex-diver, or even a recruited Chaosdiver. Arnold was used to it at this point. Even the Outpost’s master made that mistake, though he quickly apologized afterward.
Still, even though he had the tact to not let it show, these assumptions were really digging into his skin. After all, if he was born for this very role… he wouldn’t be surprised.
Arnold was born in a mining camp, and ever since he could walk, he was working in mines alongside his parents. He didn’t know who owned the mine, other than Super Earth of course, but he knew it wasn’t the biggest Corporation ever. At least that’s what he had assumed based on the horrible conditions. Arnold thought that he would live in this mine, but after his father died in a mining accident, his mother sent him to the SEAF. They had actually saved what little they could to be able to send him to the military, in hopes that he could find a better life. So, at the age of 7, he began his work as a soldier. She ended up dying, though not before he was able to visit her and reveal his intentions of becoming a Helldiver. So, he ended up as a Helldiver, and while he wasn’t sure how long he had been cryogenically frozen, he ended up on the front lines of the war effort.
During his time serving the Helldiver Core, he ended up with a Commanding officer who refused to ever enter the bot front, so they always ended up fighting against the Termanids. They didn’t even fight during the reconquest of Malevelon Creek. It wasn’t until the Reclamation when the officer was finally pressured into fighting the Automatons. So the crew went, and dived on Penta, Arnold’s old home. Unfortunately, the crew’s lack of experience when fighting the Automatons was their downfall, as their ship was destroyed by Automation groundfire, and their squad was killed off one by one. And by the time they were able to call in a Pelican to escape… the squad left Arnold behind.
Arnold survived for who knows how long. It was impossible to tell with his focus being on staying alive and finding shelter and food. He even considered going out in a blaze of glory. But he was never loyal to Super Earth, not blindly like the others were. He only did so to honor the dying wishes of his parents, to hope that he could get the better life that they desired. He even visited their graves, or at least what he had assumed would be their graves. That was when he found salvation. A woman, alone, and somehow unharmed by the Automotons. She gave some weird loop of metal, and then gave him coordinates to a ship. Sure enough, there was a ship, a ship with a box-like extension on the surface as it flew in the air. Somehow, the ship wasn’t attacked by the Automaton, but it didn’t have their colors either. He then entered and was greeted by his saviors: The Cave Filling Corporation.
After his recue, he ended up joining the MazeRun division as they mined out several caves, the last remnants of a crystal cave, and then giant abandoned mine base. Afterwards, he learned of Cave Filling and applied to attempt it. He completed the training, but he learned that he didn’t really desire to Cave Fill, as it was not what he envisioned. In fact, the only reason he stayed was because of the bonuses that came with it. Finally, he landed in MazeRun, developing friends with a lot of his fellow coworkers: Crok, Johan, not Jermey, Filia. It was a shame that he was sent back to Cave Filling when the Anti-Project Plan came, though he resisted it and made huge progress on the Storytime dimension for quite some time.
Eventually though, he heard the calls for a new Supervisor. Normally he wouldn’t be interested, but he was tired of Cave Filing, and when he heard the details of the mission, he had to sign on. After all, going home and mining a Super Earth planet on behalf of an insurgent group was something that he could have never dreamed of doing. Of course, he never expected to get it, thinking other people were more qualified than he was, but he could not have been more wrong. That is what the recruitment office thought anyways, and thus he was here, preparing to lead an operation on RD-4. Hopefully, things go well, especially when that agent of the Chaosdiver council eventually shows up…

So crazy idea I had regarding transformers recue bots. So the bots are really young compared to those who fought in the war, like barely entering adulthood young. Optimus is trying to keep everyone even his own team unaware about the rescue bots. Unfortunately, Soundwave finds them either by a message being sent to the prime or some other way 'cause he's a spy. When Soundwave sees how young they are, his creator protocol will go haywire.
He will literally drop everything, open a spacebridge to Griffinrock and claim them as his own. Imagine Megatron's surprise when his TIC just left😂. When Optimus and Bumblebee come for a visit, imagine their surprise wen they find Soundwave parenting the recue bots. When Optimus tries to get an explanation from Soundwave, the later opens a groundbridge under the Prime and Scout. No one is touching Soundwave's sparklings.

Was Blades the Recue bot ever part of the Protectobot combiner team?
Dear Rescue Researcher,
In the years that lead up to the Great War, Cybertronians forged with first response alternate modes—police vehicles, fire trucks, helicopters—were conglomerated under the search and rescue caste, a mid-ranking group of courageous heroes and tireless workers under the supervision of Inferno. Individual city-states hosted their own Rescue Forces made up of individual Rescue Squads; all members of Rescue Force Alpha were located in Iacon, Beta in Tarn, Sigma in Rodion, and so on and so forth; these could be rotated in and out, and leased to neighboring states, to deal with major disasters and other public emergencies.
The ‘bots of Rescue Force Sigma-17 were part of the penultimate generation of sparks spawned by the AllSpark before the outbreak of the Great War, and initially operated under the auspices of Rescue Force Sigma-1—Hot Spot, Rook, First Aid, Streetwise, and Groove, who would go on to become the Protectobots after the Decepticons declared war. The Protectobots went on to become Defensor, the first Autobot combiner; although they proved powerful, the combiner arms race ultimately went to the Decepticons—during the third siege of Pescus Hex, Bruticus and Devastator overpowered the Autobot and tore him to bits.
Heatwave’s team, however, had already accepted a long-range deep space patrol mission just before the outbreak of war; they slept through most of the war and the evacuation of Cybertron before eventually reawakening on Earth after their ship homed in on Optimus Prime’s signal. They were sad to learn that many of their friends, including Hot Spot's team, had not survived the conflict, but did their best to help keep their legacy alive by protecting the people of Griffin Rock.

Could you do TFP bots (or just a few of them if you have charcater limit or just don't feel like doing them all, as long as Wheeljack is ingluded I'm good) with a human they just recued and they're like "I'm gonna call my dad hold on" and if they protest they're like "nah you'll like him I promise, just give him a minute" and her dads their old bot friend who went MIA (you can decide who the dad is, or go with Ironhide if you're as indeciceve as me lol)
I miiiiight just have to do this as a short story I hope that's okay! Got my Wrecker boys Wheeljack, Bulkhead, Smokescreen and Ultra Magnus.
Dust was still settling as you realized the threat was over, the collection of vehicons having scattered long before the cave had finished it's partial collapse and leaving you under the gathered team of bots who'd come together to shield you from falling debris. Rubbing off the powdered rocks covering your face, as well as coughing up the taste of dirt, you took a moment to gather yourself as your new giant allies did the same. It wasn't worth thinking about what would have happened if they hadn't come along when they had... In your defense, that ambush had come out of nowhere.
"You okay there?" A deep voice above you rumbled with concern, encouraging you to tilt your head upwards at the big green bot looking down at you. His optics were friendly, and despite his absolutely massive size and hands that transformed into wrecking balls, you immediately trusted him.
"Yeah, I'm okay. Thanks to you guys." You said gratefully, looking to each of the gathered team as they brushed the dust off themselves.
"Protecting organic life is the primary responsibility of Autobots, think nothing of it." The largest of them said, somewhat gruff as he meticulously picked off the worst of the rubble that had showered down upon them. Immediately, you knew he was the one in charge. Towering above the others and with shoulder pauldrons thicker than two of you, he gave off the energy of someone who took no nonsense and had the firepower to back up his authority, yet his gaze was mostly just annoyed as he looked down to you again. "Our second responsibility, however, is remaining hidden from the denizens of this planet. Saving you required us to break cover."
"Give the kid a break, sir. They managed to escape a whole squadron by themselves before running into us. I think we can cut them some slack." A far gruffer voice said, cutting in as the battle scarred mech in question took a protective step your way. Quite immediately the colors on his unique build were familiar to you, but you decided to stay quiet on that fact, reaching for the cellphone thankfully still secure in your pocket. While you hadn't found what you'd been looking for in this mine, at least you had something far more interesting to report.
The big blue bot looked to the other with an impressive frown, unintentionally cementing your thesis as to the scarred mech's identity. The back and forth continued more or less without an acknowledgement of your presence. "They've been seen in our company, Wheeljack. By the procedure Optimus established, we must now secure their wellbeing, and that will be quite the undertaking."
The only one who had not yet spoken, a smaller but solidly built blue bot who seemed the youngest of the group, chose that moment to jump in with a quip. "Doubt docbot will be too happy about another human in the bunker."
"He's all talk. Ratchet wants these little guys as safe as the big guy does, he won't put up a fight." The gruff one, who you were starting to like more by the moment, said with an amused but reassuring smile in your direction. Unable to help smiling back, you suddenly felt that this turn of events might have been more than you could have ever hoped for. If only you could get a word in edgewise...
"You're purposefully missing the point, soldier. We-"
"If it's gonna be such a hassle for you, I'll take 'em myself."
"Jackie..." Once more, the gentle green giant spoke up, looking quite concerned at his friend's purposeful egging on of the bot in charge. You got the sense that this kind of thing happened often by his tone, but personally, you were getting a little tired of being ignored. None of what they were discussing was necessary, and if anyone would have bothered to ask you they'd know that? Finally fed up, you took a breath and raised your arms to draw attention to your tiny self.
"Um, hello? Excuse me!" You shouted, mercifully ending the bickering and securing four pairs of optics on yourself. Relieved for the silence, you pulled out your phone and held it up, projecting your voice to ensure you were heard. The shocked expressions didn't cease when you started to explain, but you didn't let that stop you. Sorting this out would make everything easier for everyone. "I think there's a bit more going on than any of you know. Let me call my dad really quick, he'll set this straight."
The first to reply was the one you knew had to be the rookie of the group, who awkwardly cleared his vents and broke the silence only hesitantly. "Uh, bringing more humans into this really isn't our goal-"
"Who said anything about him being human?" You cut in, grinning from ear to ear at the looks they all gave you. Now that you had their unbroken attention, it was only a matter of summoning your dad and waiting for him to arrive. Dialing his frequency into your phone, you prepared to share just as much information as it took to get him here fastest, wanting to see the look on his face when he arrived and saw who you'd found. This was going to be fun...
----------------------------------------------------
The roar of a familiar engine had thankfully silenced the second round of bickering to break out amongst the two argumentative bots, who had gone back and forth between listening to you and calling for their superior. It had been entertaining at first, but by the time that roar had echoed down the tunnel you'd been relieved to hear it, and had hopped to your feet from your seat on a convenient rock. The bots had reflexively drawn their weapons, but there hadn't even been any need for you to stop them. A worn red paint job skidding around the corner had made them all hold fire.
In a rush, you'd run out to greet the massive off road vehicle just as it began to transform, and in moments had been embracing the offered hand of a hulking bot who kneeled before you with an expression of happy relief.
"Ironhide!"
"Wheeljack!" Your adopted dad cried out in absolute joy, letting you move safely to the side before approaching the bot who's identity you'd properly guessed. Ironhide had told you so many stories about the Wrecker, it made sense that you'd been able to tell who he was by appearance and mannerisms despite having never met. The two bots greeted one another with an earth trembling chest bump, after which your beaming father turned to the green bot with just as much enthusiasm, shaking hands and crashing their fists together with overwhelming power. "Bulkhead too? Where have you guys been?"
"We might ask you the same thing, soldier." The big blue bot said, cutting in with the same serious look that appeared to be his only expression. On a closer inspection, however, you could see a certain light in his optics. He wasn't altogether displeased to see a new arrival. Standing somewhat awkwardly to the side, the young blue bot appeared delighted if not quite confused.
"Uh, long story, Ultra Magnus sir. I've been on this planet for some time. Found this little troublemaker when they were half their current size, and I've been raising 'em to help with our cause." Ironhide said affectionately, stepping back and dropping to one knee to be more on your level. Before you could puff up proudly at the praise, a single digit tussled your hair as he often did to tease, and you sputtered before playfully pushing him away and undoing the damage. Chuckling, he turned back to his comrades. "Never figured I'd bump into you all here! Jackie, Bulk, and uh..."
The attention turned to the young bot, who only smiled with a wave and a not offended clarification on his name.
"Smokescreen."
Wheeljack gave your dad a playful punch, still buzzing at seeing his old friend alive. The friendship you'd so frequently heard about was clear as day before you. "Glad to see you in one piece, old Rusthide."
"We've been here for years, Ironhide. How come we didn't detect you?" Bulkhead said, looking just as happy but burdened by the question at hand. Ironhide tapped his audial with a somewhat glum smile.
"Communicator's been busted for ages, all I've got is an earth link for cellphones." He said, recalling an injury he'd endured long before meeting you. The line he'd built relied on earth technology, and you still remembered how many tries it had taken to get it right. It was impossible to imagine a whole other team of beings like himself had been out there the whole time... Yet he didn't look at all regretful as he glanced down at you. "If I'd known I wasn't alone, I would have introduced myself and the kid ages ago. Looks like we've got my little one to thank for bringing us together."
You pouted and crossed your arms at the comment. "I'm not little anymore, dad."
"They did alright in a scrap, but how about we get you two back to base? I'm sure the other's will want to hear the story." Wheeljack said, easing your damaged pride with the compliment. You had indeed evaded those Vehicons for a good long while before being rescued... speaking of which, you could use a bit of rest somewhere secure.
Once more, Ultra Magnus stepped in to halt the festivities. "First; I shall communicate with Optimus and let him know what has transpired. He will likely want to meet you in person before we make any rash decisions."
"Seriously? Come on, Mags! Let's get this bot in an actual base!" Wheeljack replied in a huff, bringing back the arguing from before as if it had never stopped. Looking quite amused, Ironhide merely chuckled and offered you his hand, allowing you to get a lift onto his shoulders as was your custom. Clearly not phased by what he was seeing, the only parent you'd ever known let you get comfortable before following the group out of the partially collapsed cave. Who could have thought your simple little scouting mission would end like this?
"Come on kiddo." He said softly, watching the bickering with an expression of nostalgia. "I have a feeling things are about to get pretty interesting."
