youtube
Music recording studios have long been places of mystery and intrigue, allowing musicians to create masterpieces that captivate audiences around the world.
It is within these walls that some of the greatest works of art are crafted, yet few people ever get a chance to peek behind the curtain.
This article provides an opportunity for readers to gain insight into one such studio: Miami Music Recording Studios.
Through exclusive interviews with studio engineers and producers, readers will be given access to the inner workings of this leading music production facility.
A rare glimpse at the creative process and technical expertise necessary for crafting great work awaits those who read on.
The Art Of Producing: How Miami Music Recording Studio Engineers And Producers Shape The Sound Of Hit Records
Miami Music Recording Studios, also known as the 'House of Hits,' has helped to shape some of the most iconic hits in modern music history. It is a place where engineers and producers come together to blend technical skill with artistic vision, creating unique sounds that stand out from other recordings.
The art of producing records at Miami Music Recording Studios is an intricate process that relies on both engineering prowess and creative insight. To begin, studio engineers must decide which pieces of equipment best suit the sound they are trying to achieve. This includes everything from microphones and amplifiers to signal processors and equalizers.
Once these elements have been selected, it's up to the producer or engineer to experiment with different settings until they find the perfect balance between clarity and texture. The work doesn't stop there – once all of the tracks have been recorded, mixed and mastered, it's time for post-production activities such as overdubbing, sampling, looping and editing.
During this stage, small changes can mean big differences in terms of overall tone and feel. With each decision made by the engineer or producer comes another layer of detail added to create something truly special – a hit record that stands apart from others on the market today.
Creating The Perfect Studio Atmosphere: How Miami Music Recording Studio Engineers And Producers Foster A Collaborative And Creative Environment
The art of producing music is a complex and creative process that requires the perfect atmosphere to thrive. As such, Miami Music Recording Studio engineers and producers strive to cultivate an environment that encourages collaboration, inspiration, and productivity.
By creating an inviting atmosphere through the use of professional equipment and instruments, as well as encouraging open communication between all parties involved in the project, these professionals are able to foster a collaborative spirit essential for successful recordings.
In addition to providing high-quality gear and promoting productive conversations among artists, studio engineers also pay special attention to details like soundproofing rooms properly or setting up multiple microphones around drum kits for optimal recording quality.
Furthermore, careful consideration is given when it comes to selecting appropriate acoustics within each room – from selecting furniture materials with ideal acoustic properties to testing different types of speaker placement – all designed for maximum sound clarity and comfort during recording sessions.
By taking into account both technical aspects of production as well as the emotional needs of their clients, Miami Music Recording Studios ensure everyone works together comfortably in order to capture those magical moments in time.
This focus on fostering creativity while maintaining a professional atmosphere provides necessary resources needed by this team of experts to produce great music consistently.

The Role Of Mentorship: How Miami Music Recording Studio Engineers And Producers Help Develop The Next Generation Of Musicians
In a creative production setting, the mentorship of experienced engineers and producers is like a beacon of light that guides up-and-coming artists on their journey. Through this relationship, both parties are able to gain insight into each other's areas of expertise and benefit from the other’s experience in music production.
At Miami Music Recording Studios, these mentors provide invaluable guidance for emerging talent as they develop their musical skillset. The studio environment is an ideal breeding ground for collaboration between veterans and novices alike. The mentor can share with young musicians not only technical knowledge but also practical advice about the industry itself.
By providing helpful tips on networking, branding, and marketing strategies, veteran engineers help foster more successful careers for aspiring professionals. This kind of assistance allows artists to better understand what it takes to succeed in the music business while honing their craft in the recording process.
Mentorship at Miami Music Recording Studios helps shape a new generation of creators whose work has gone beyond the confines of traditional genres and styles. With access to seasoned studio personnel who have worked with some of the biggest names in popular music, contemporary musicians learn how to apply innovative techniques when producing original tracks or remixes.
Thus, by learning from those who have paved the way before them, budding talents gain confidence and build strong foundations upon which they can continue building their artistic legacies long after leaving the studio walls behind them.
Navigating The Business Side: Insights From Miami Music Recording Studio Engineers And Producers On Managing Projects And Building Long-Term Client Relationships
The success of any music production project is largely dependent on the ability of studio engineers and producers to manage projects, budgets, and schedules. In Miami recording studios, it is essential for these professionals to be able to navigate the business side in order to ensure successful outcomes.
Here are some insights from leading Miami music recording studios engineers and producers:
* Establishing a clear budget before beginning work allows everyone involved in the project understand their financial responsibility upfront. This helps eliminate potential issues during production when deadlines need to be met or revisions requested by clients.
* When working with clients, building relationships that last beyond one-off projects can be more profitable than short-term transactions. Producers should strive to create an atmosphere of trust between themselves and their clientele so as not to disrupt workflow throughout the duration of the production process.
* Maintaining communication throughout every step of a music production project is key for both staying within budget and keeping clients satisfied with quality service delivery. Studio engineers must keep records of all conversations they have had with clients related to the project including notes about preferences, requests, and feedback given at each stage.
In addition to effectively managing projects, budgets, and schedules; producing high-quality results also requires sound technical knowledge coupled with strong interpersonal skills such as patient listening and precise execution of instructions. These qualities even form part of what makes certain Miami recording studios stand out from others in this competitive industry.
Conclusion
The engineers and producers at Miami Music Recording Studios are the musical architects of hit records, as well as mentors to young musicians. Through their collaborative atmosphere and creative processes they have provided a platform for aspiring artists to grow into successful professionals.
Moreover, by managing projects with careful attention to detail and relationship building, these talented individuals ensure that business remains steady in an ever-changing industry.
In conclusion, it is clear that without the expertise of the studio personnel at Miami Music Recording Studios, many beautiful works of art would not exist. As such, we must recognize and pay homage to their invaluable contributions which continue to enrich our lives musically through metaphor and simile.

The Start of it All
Pairing: Walter Marshall x Hispanic!Reader
Summary: The day Y/N started working in Walter’s district and called him “Don Refri” for the first time
Warning: Masterlist pinned on my blog, it’s probably short.
A/N: i wanted to create a fanfic universe so it’s a series of one shots that take place in the same universe. Like a multi part series without the commitment which is literally PERFECT for me. If you have any ideas of what you want to see take place in this universe like in Walter and Y/N’s relationship, let me know!
Tumblr media
Walter was in his office with the commissioner wanted to talk to him.
“What is it? Is there something wrong?” Walter asked.
“There’s nothing wrong, I found a new records clerk.” Harper told him.
“Do we really need a glorified secretary? We’ve been handling the files just fine, Harper.” Walter said.
“The time you spend creating police reports could be used actually solving cases. Whether you like it or not, a records clerk will be here. You can’t do everything on your own, she starts tomorrow.” Harper said, walking out of Walter’s office.
Walter sighed, running his hand through his hair. He knows he had no reason to be mad that a new person would come work here. He just felt that a new person would ruin the flow of things. He won’t know until he meets her though.
Y/N moved to Saint Paul 3 weeks ago and she finally got a call about the job she applied for. She moved from Miami to Quantico for FBI training but when failed the physical assessment, even after weeks of training, she decided to move to Minnesota. Why Minnesota? Who knows, she’s not use to the cold, but it was a nice change of scenery. She managed to get a nice studio apartment with her savings from working as a receptionist in Miami. She applied as a records clerk for the Saint Paul Police Department, Western District (I’ve been researching, they don’t organize the police department by precincts, only few cities do), and she got it! Now she was talking to her Miami bestie.
“Why did you choose Minnesota instead of staying there in Virginia? Do you know how cold it’s going to be once it hits winter?” Her bestie, Melissa, said.
“I know, I know, ni me lo recuerdes, but I’ll be making more money here than in Florida.” Y/N said.
“Fine, what are you going to wear for your first day on the job?” Melissa asked.
It was the next day, Y/N was putting professional clothes to make a good first impression. She decided to leave her hair down and drove to the station. Once she found parking, she entered the precinct and saw five people standing by the cubicles.
“Good morning, Y/N, we spoke on the phone, I’m commissioner Harper, these are our technicians, Matthew and Glasgow, profiler and psychologist, Rachel, and our best detective, Walter.” Harper introduced everyone to Y/N, shaking everyone’s hands respectively.
When Y/N went to shake Walter’s hand, she felt a little spark when they touched. They made eye contact and thoughts that were running in their heads were less than professional. Y/N thought about how it would feel to run her hands through his hair or having his firm hands touch her body. Walter was thinking about how it would feel to kiss her and what sounds she would make when doing so. Maybe having a new person in the precinct won’t be so bad after all.
“It’s very nice to meet everyone, can’t wait to start working here.” Y/N said with a smile. Harper showed Y/N where her cubicle was and she settles down.
Walter watched Y/N for a whole before heading to his office. The morning was pretty calm, when Walter entered the break room to grab his lunch, he saw Y/N eating her lunch, talking to Rachel at the table like they were old friends. He stood by the counter to eat his sandwich.
“So what’s the story of the detective?” Y/N asked quietly.
“He’s a good detective, but he’s closed off, kind of a grouch, we call him detective grumpy but obviously not to his face. I mean, I understand why he’s closed off, I’ve seen the photos of the cases he works, it’s brutal. I can’t imagine actually being there in person.” Rachel said. Y/N looked back at the detective and looked away.
“I Can see that too, but I think it’s better to talk it out, a desahogarte.” Y/N commented. “Bottling up your feelings can’t be good in the long run.”
One night, Y/N and Walter stayed late at the district because they cracked a big case so Y/N is doing the paperwork for it right now. It was kind of quiet so Y/N decided to break the silence.
“So, Detective Marshall, what got you interested in working in homicide?” Y/N asked. Walter looked up from a file he was reading to look at the woman.
“Am I required to answer?” Walter asked.
“You don’t have to answer, I was just trying to make conversation seeing as we’re here, alone.” Y/N commented. Walter rolled his eyes.
“I was on SWAT before, then I switched to homicide.” Walter said.
“Why did you make the switch?” Y/N asked.
“I don’t want to talk about this, just finish your work.” Walter said, looking back at the file, reviewing Y/N’s work.
“Whatever you say, Don Refri.” Y/N commented and Walter looked back at Y/N, seeing her slightly smirk.
“What did you just call me?” Walter asked.
“It’s ‘mister fridge’ in Spanish. Since you’re kinda closed off, you don’t talk, you don’t let what you’re feeling be known. You have a poker face all the time, it’s good when you’re interrogating a perp, but it’s not so good for the soul. You’re kinda cold as well, so until you learn to express your feelings in a positive way and not bottle them up, you will be Don Refri, okay? Okay.” Y/N said as she continued typing. “I wanted to be an FBI profiler before coming here. I was in Quantico and everything, I was training for weeks but when it finally came to the physical assessment, I couldn’t do it. I failed the times 1.5 mile run and got a stress fracture. So now I’m here. But I don’t think I want to become a cop.” Y/N shared and Walter just hummed. “In my culture we’re very family oriented. I moved from Miami, I’m far away from my friends and family, I’m all alone. Since I’m reporting to you, I thought we could at least be friendly towards each other, guess not. I finished, look it over, I’m leaving.” Y/N said as she packed up her stuff to leave.
Walter felt like an asshole. He could at least replied or act interested in what she was saying.
The next morning, Y/N entered the station and when she walked to her cubicle, she saw a little box of chocolate chip cookies with a sticky note that said “Sorry -Don Refri” and that made Y/N smile.
Although Y/N really wanted a relationship with Walter, being friends with him seems like a step closer to the right direction.
The End
Taglist: @shellyshellshell
Hope y’all liked it! I did my research about the Saint Paul police department to make it accurate, and hopefully I gave Y/N a good background since I put in the first installment that she doesn’t do the cold, I made her be from a warmer state. Let me know if you want to be tagged!

Listening to that recording of Jasmine Amy Rogers singing 'Where I wanna be' and realizing that–
The song mentions Cab Calloway, who was used for a few Betty Boop cartoons.
Betty mentions New York and it seems that this is the place where she wants to be. The Fleischer Brothers studio that made her cartoons were first stationed in New York City (I remembered this from Game Theory's video about them for Bendy and the Ink Machine). So yeah, no wonder she would feel at home in NYC.
She mentions Miami, and when I just double checked to make sure point 2 was correct.... there apparently was also a Fleischer Bros HQ in Miami, Florida. (Assuming its the same Miami).

Rapper XXXTentacion's life ended in violence.
XXXTentacion was proud to have fought from a young age and said that at the age of 6 he tried to fight a man who lived with his mother. Onfroy grew up in Broward County, Florida, which is densely populated and economically diverse, with many supermarkets lined with low-rise frame houses. XXXTentacion said his parents are Jamaican and also claimed on his personal Tumblr page that his ancestors were of Egyptian, Indian, German and Italian blood.
This chaotic journey is also reflected in his taste in music. When hip-hop magazine XXL hailed XXXTentacion as an upcoming talent with a cover photo in 2017, the rapper was asked about the artists who inspired him, naming a range of names from rock to punk, including Kurt Cobain, Papa Roach, Cage the Elephant and even the British band Coldplay.
"I'm more inspired by other artists than rap," said XXXTentacion. He's had a rebellious personality since childhood and XXXTentacion showed that with his looks. There are many photos of XXXTentacion with tattoos visible, such as a tree on his forehead, an elephant's head on his neck, and the word "Cleopatra". on the chest in honor of his mother, Cléopâtre Bernard. In
Bernard gave birth to a son Onfroy when she was only 17-18 years old and had to work hard to raise him 'restless'; Son. "My mother didn't mind taking care of me, so she just referred me to someone who could take care of me.I wasn't living in good circumstances at the time” XXXTentacion shared once. Then Onfroy realized his punches were an easy way to get his mother's attention.
"At school, I would fight with a lot of my classmates and say a lot of dirty things just to hear my mom yell or talk to me," XXXTentacion said.
Heavy fighting resulted in Onfroy being expelled from high school. At the age of 12 he lived mainly with his grandmother. In high school, Onfroy was arrested for armed robbery, possession of oxycodone pain medication, gun possession, and resisting law enforcement.
In prison, he wrote music that eventually became a hit.
However, XXXTentacion's life ended when he was shot and killed.
In March, XXXTentacion's second studio album "?" topped the Billboard 200. However, that success came at the same time he was awaiting trial in Broward, Fla. for brutally assaulting and jailing a pregnant woman, his girlfriend Geneva Ayala.Ayala told the Miami New Times about the horrifying attack.
Ayala revealed that she was repeatedly hit by XXXTentacion every three to four days during the summer of
in 2016. The rapper strangled her, tore off her clothes, hung her upside down and threatened to cut off her hair and tongue. XXXTentacion also stabbed her, slicing her face and holding her head under water.
XXXTentacion continued to be violent towards Ayala even after she was discovered by
in October 2016 that she was pregnant. That same month he was arrested and charged with assaulting a pregnant woman. However, he has always denied the allegations.
In addition to physically assaulting his girlfriend, XXXTentacion has also stirred controversy by arguing with viewers and hurling vulgar insults at Superstar Drake.
But legal troubles couldn't stop XXXTentacion's initial success. With the endorsement of SoundCloud and praise from rap stars like Danny Brown and A$AP Rocky, his reputation has steadily grown.
"Look At Me" debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 in February 2017. During this time, the rapper was constantly arrested and imprisoned for various crimes. When her debut album, titled 17, was released in August, it reached number two on the Billboard chart.
The album XXXTentacion "?" to the top of the charts and the single "Sad!" It was certified double platinum and reached the top 5 on the rap and R&B charts. From 2017 to date, 16 songs by XXXTentacion have made the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
When XXXTentacion was awarded by XXL magazine, a controversy broke out. "Should XXXTentacion be here? He should be in prison. He has a criminal record," Pitchfork asked in reference to the rapper's criminal record.
Attention all XXXTentacion fans! If you are a true music lover and passionate about XXXTentacion's unique sound, be sure to visit the XXXTentacion

excuse me did you see tommy martinez hanging around palmwood studios? oh no, that was carmelo " melo " rojas, the thirty year old who plays jacob knightly on rush. yeah, you know rumour has it they're arrogant and perfectionist, but their fans all say they’re humble and compassionate. the soundtrack to their life would probably be booker t by bad bunny, and when i think of them, the aroma coconut shampoo , the strum of his guitar, the warm smile etched on his features .
carmelo ' melo ' rojas was born on a sunny friday afternoon, he was the first born of luis fabian "luifa" rojas and cassandra alejandra rojas, their first child and the light of cassandra's eyes. his maternal grandfather was overjoyed with carmelo, he learned how to play soccer before he even learned how to walk and it didn't help that his grandfather was the trainer for almost two decade's for the venzuela selection team and took them to the world cup a handful of times.
though at the age of four years old , cassandra decided to move carmelo to the united states , atlanta to be more precise. the new life that they began to live was a lot more privileged than what he lived in venezuela. his paternal grandfather was the apple of his eyes, he loved him father but the relationship from the very start was very fickle, there wasn't a connection there ; not like it was with his grandfather ( his father's father ) wherever he went, you could see the older gentlemen together with carmelo. the older he grew , the more he noticed the hatred that began to brew within his father towards carmelo, he didn't know why. he was vile towards him, never treated him as his equal but more as his enemy , something or someone that was beneath him. though that never phased carmelo, if anything he got to a point by the age of fifteen that he didn't care , he had his mother, his twins sisters who he adored and his both maternal and paternal grandparents, who showered him with love.
at the age of seventeen, he was scouted by scout from COMEBOL who had been watching him for some time now, they wanted him to go through some lengthy trails and carmelo being carmelo went ahead and showed him why he was the best , it was only four years later that he was playing for Venezuela's selection team, playing for his home country and making his maternal grandfather proud, playing with a NUMBER 9 shirt and getting them past eliminations and into the world cup. . Carmelo took the team to the finals of the world cup , just at the ripe age of twenty - three years old he won the world cup for venezuela and there in one of those matches he met the love of his life, or the women that he thought would be the women he would spent the rest of his life with but during the last 15 minutes of the last game , he injured himself to the point that he was told he could never play again and the girl who he thought would stay by him , simply didn't.
once he made back home , with a champion tittle - he didn't feel like a champion , if anything he felt like a failure . after his paternal grandfather stepped down from his position at RED RECORDS as CEO and passed it on fully to carmelo. he decided that he wanted to expand his grandfather's work and opened up a label in miami florida , with the help of his aunt guadalupe rojas . his cousin luciana and him were inseparable as kids and they bickered like all families do but when it was time to go bat for eavh other , they were always there for one another. if anything they were more like siblings than cousins really. shortly after , he moved california and began a brand new career , people knew who he was and he thought he should give it a go in the acting industry and he turned out to be an even bigger superstar than he was before . his heart was closed off to everyone , only giving small pieces of his heart and random women in his bed every other night. he had already given hope in love , he had been there , done that already , why go back ?

About Karol G - the Woman who Rose to the Top of the Reggaeton World
Tumblr media
One artist that I have been listening to non-stop lately is a Latin artist who goes by the name of Karol G. You may have heard her name as she has become famous not only in Latin America but globally. Karol G is a Colombian artist of mainly the reggaeton, Latin trap and hip-hop genres. Reggaeton is defined as a music genre that blends Jamaican influences of reggae music with Latin American dance hall music and hip-hop influences. Throughout her career, Karol G has collaborated with many well-known artists in Latin America, but in the U.S. as well, which have helped boost her to the global status she maintains now.
Her first hit was “Ahora Me Llama” (Now He Calls Me) featuring Puerto Rican trap artist Bad Bunny in 2017. She continued to produce more hits such as “Culpables” (Guilty) in 2018 with Anuel AA, another famous trap artist like Bad Bunny. There were rumors about her dating Anuel after they released that song, so by the end of 2018, the two released a song together confirming their dating relationship to the public called “Secreto” (Secret) which was another success. The two had a “power couple” status commonly compared to Beyonce and Jay-Z’s level in Latin America. Karol G continued to release more hits such as “China” in 2019, which was a collaboration with Anuel AA, Daddy Yankee, Ozuna, and J Balvin - all who are popular Latin reggaeton/trap artists, “Tusa” (Heartbreak) with Nicki Minaj in 2019, “Bichota” (Bad B*tch) in 2020, “Provenza” (Provence) in 2021, and she featured in Becky G’s song “MAMIII” in 2022. To clarify, these are only some of her top hits which had charted the billboards and even won her Grammy Awards, Billboard Music Awards, etc.
As we can clearly see, Karol G did not fail to stay relevant in the music industry since her breakthrough in 2017, with a new release or feature every consecutive year. However she did not immediately start out in the limelight when she began pursuing her music career. Karol G’s real name is Carolina Giraldo Navarro and she was born and raised in Colombia. She was first recognized for her musical talents when she performed on the Colombian version of The X-Factor in her country when she was 14 years old, and a few years later, she had her first record contract with Colombian company Flamingo Records and Puerto Rican company Diamond Music, and by then she chose her artist name to be Karol G. She released a few songs from 2007 to 2010 but they were not very successful, so she continued to study music at the University of Antioquia in Colombia. Karol G then traveled to Universal Studios in Miami, Florida where she presented her project but was rejected to be signed for a record due to her gender. Karol comments about it in an interview with PAPER magazine, "About nine years ago, I went to Miami for the first time; my parents got me a meeting [with the label]. I presented my project,’ she says, ‘and they liked it. But they said I could maybe be a songwriter, but a woman making reggaeton? That wouldn't work.’”.
This is because reggaeton has always been a male-dominated genre so not many women have become popular in the genre, with a few exceptions like Dominican artist Natti Natasha, Mexican-American artist Becky G, and Puerto Rican artist Ivy Queen, who became famous in the early 2000s and is known as the “Queen of Reggaeton”. However, it can be safely said that there are many more mainstream male reggaeton artists, like the artists I had previously mentioned. Even the “King of Reggaeton”, Daddy Yankee, who you have probably heard of before, is more globally known than the “Queen of Reggaeton”. In fact, I even asked my friend, who was born and raised in Dominican Republic until he migrated to New Jersey at 16 years old, if he knew who Ivy Queen was, and he said he did not know her, but of course when I mentioned I was writing about "reggaeton", the first person he thought of was Daddy Yankee.
However Karol G was not deterred by the rejection and continued to perform wherever she could back in Colombia with the support of her father, but by 2014 she moved to New York to try to boost her career in America again. Karol G saw an advertisement for business administration classes on the subway, which helped her learn more about the industry. From that time until she released “Ahora Me Llama” (Now He Calls Me) with Bad Bunny in 2017, Karol G released some more songs, one of them called “Ricos Besos” (Sweet Kisses) which was a hit in Colombia, and she signed with Universal Music Latino. Karol G created a strong foundation for her career which can explain how she is flourishing now as a global reggaeton icon and did not end up as a “one-hit wonder”.
I personally admire Karol G a lot because she is a strong advocate for woman empowerment and breaking the misogynistic boundaries of the reggaeton genre, which she has demonstrated through her rise to the top of the reggaeton world with songs confidently embracing her femininity and sexuality.
youtube
From just looking at some of the lyrics from her breakthrough song “Ahora Me Llama” (Now He Calls Me), Karol G states, “Yo soy dueña de mi vida, a mí nadie me manda” (I am the owner of my life, no one controls me). Marty Preciado of NPR Music describes this song as, “A bass-heavy, unapologetic trap anthem to the power of femininity, soiled in hi-hats and heavy sub-bass, the song challenges hegemonic masculinity, singing about respect, love and sex-positive decisions… Karol G confidently states about the ownership, control and enjoyment of her life, femininity and sexuality.”
youtube
Another one of her biggest hits, “Tusa” (Heartbreak) became a global anthem for women, as the reggaeton song is about a woman trying to get over her ex and heal and to remind her to “know her worth”. The collaboration with Nicki Minaj, who has been globally known as the "Queen of Rap" for years and is never ashamed to express her sexuality and boost confidence in fellow women, makes the song an even more powerful piece of motivation to help women move on to bigger and better things.
youtube
Karol G’s song, “Bichota” (Bad B*tch) is another viral anthem of femininity where she created her own unique term from Puerto Rican word “bichote” which means “a powerful drug dealer”, to “a strong and empowered woman”. She explained further in an interview on the “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon, “I wanted to create a ‘bichota’ but its meaning is going to be: a bitch boss girl, powerful, great, incredible, doing her things by herself, you know?”.
youtube
The last track that I think really shows Karol G’s support for women is not a part of any of her albums, since she was the featured artist, but “MAMIII” by Becky G is a reggaeton track about female empowerment for ending a toxic relationship, which many women can relate to.
I think these four songs that I mentioned were really unique in the reggaeton genre because since it is such a male-dominated genre, there are not many reggaeton songs about women ending toxic relationships or female empowerment. In fact, it is a very common trend in reggaeton for male artists to over-sexualize and objectify women in their songs instead, so the fact that Karol G made all these four songs that basically diss men and motivate women into hits, shows that the genre is moving in a new direction.
Altogether, Karol G is such an inspiring icon for women, proving that she overcame barriers due to her gender by making a name for herself in a genre that has barely been touched by women. I think it is important to recognize that she is truly changing the industry through her consistent billboard chart-topping hits, her creation of “bichota”, a new female-empowering term, and just her overall loyal global fanbase. In fact, the same company that rejected Karol, Universal Studios, actually offered her a contract 7 years later because of her global status, so I think she is living proof that anything is possible with hard work and dedication.
I would like to end this blog post with a motivating quote that Karol G said in an interview with the LA Times, “For years, I heard that women do not do reggaeton. Reggaeton and urban music belong to men, but as a woman, you belong to men. Now women are on another level. We are well prepared to lead. We've earned it and we're going to fight for it”. Hopefully we can continue to see Karol G progress with even more hits and be able to break the boundaries of reggaeton with her large influence. If you would like to take a listen to some of Karol G's music, I have linked her Spotify playlist below!

this all of my favorite artist's album, her songs is so soothing for me , its recommadable artirst if u like music like me , fun fact;''Lana Del Rey has one of the most enigmatic personalities of modern pop, and it’s won her one of the most devoted audiences of the 2010s. ''amazing right ,she is very famous in both genders, MORE FUN FACTS ABOUT HERRR ,At age 18, Lana began performing in clubs around Brooklyn, NY under various monikers including Lizzy Grant, May Jailer, and Sparkle Jump Rope Queen. Around the same time, she began attending Fordham University in The Bronx, where she majored in philosophy with a specific focus on metaphysics.and
was interested in God and how technology could bring us closer to finding out where we came from and why
Is what she said about her degree when asked. The theme of God and science remains persistent in all of her music. Alongside her college major, some of her song themes were the effect of attending a Christian high school.
She signed her first recording contract with 5 Points Records in 2007 and her first digital album, Lana Del Ray a.k.a. Lizzy Grant, was released in January 2010.
Traces of this era can still be found online but this commercially unsuccessful epoch was ultimately abandoned to make way for the rebrand of Lana Del Rey.
In 2011, a homemade music video for “Video Games” was uploaded to Lana’s YouTube channel. The track became a viral sensation, sparking widespread interest in the artist, and she signed with Interscope/Polydor in the October of that year. On the acknowledgements for her fifth studio album, Lust for Life she wrote
''Abel, I still think of the day u posted video games on your Tumblr. Grateful for u.'' now information about her
Since then, Lana has delivered a flair unlike any other artist of her generation, praised for its cinematic sound and references to various aspects of pop culture, particularly that of the 1950s and 1960s Americana.
After many studio releases that were removed from streaming platforms to make way for her rebrand, Lana explained the meaning of her stage name and how it was influenced by her time in Florida while in college.
I wanted a name I could shape the music towards. I was going to Miami quite a lot at the time, speaking a lot of Spanish with my friends from Cuba – Lana Del Rey reminded us of the glamour of the seaside. It sounded gorgeous coming off the tip of the tongue.
Before using Del Rey, she initially chose the alternate spelling Lana Del Ray and released an album under that name, but ultimately chose the latter moving forward.
On January 27, 2012, Lana’s first major-label project, Born to Die, was released. Despite mixed reviews from critics, it is the second-longest charting album on the Billboard 200 by a female artist, and gave Lana her best-known smash hit “Summertime Sadness”.
Later that year, the Grammy-nominated EP Paradise was released, and was packaged alongside the reissue of Born to Die.
Two years later, the atmospheric album Ultraviolence was released, showcasing a slightly darker sound and theme. The term comes from the Anthony Burgess novel, A Clockwork Orange, and refers to excessive or unjustified violence.
2015 saw the arrival of Honeymoon which Lana described as being “a tribute to Los Angeles”. The album became the subject of much critical acclaim, garnering the most praise of all of her projects before it, with some even calling it her best work yet.
Her fifth studio album Lust For Life followed in 2017, packing some high-profile features with artists including The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky, Playboi Carti and Stevie Nicks. Billboard called it a “new-age folk” record and it was named in the Top 50 Best Album of the Year lists by several high-profile music publications.
After much anticipation, teasing and at least one deferred release date, on August 30, 2019, Norman Fucking Rockwell! was debuted to the world. This album earned her Grammy nominations and places on year-end lists, launching her further than ever into the limelight.
Only days after NFR!’s release, in an interview with The Times, Lana confirmed that a new project entitled Chemtrails Over the Country Club (originally called as White Hot Forever) was in the works with a potential release in 2020. Nearing the end of 2019, Lana also announced she would be releasing a spoken word poetry album on January 4th, 2020, as the book itself was taking long to hand-bind.
Similar to the way Chemtrails Over The Country Club was announced, Lana took to Instagram after the release of Chemtrails to announce a follow-up eighth studio album called Blue Banisters (which was originally supposed to be called ‘Rock Candy Sweet’) that was expected to be released on July 4th, 2021, however was delayed for October 22nd of the same year. Three singles from Blue Banisters were released on May 20th, 2021.there is more but lets move on there now im going to tell my recommedation for her songs , in top 10 is born to die , i love this song , it is really famous in most countries , like western , and other more in top 9 is venice b1tch[this is is i cannot say]this song melody is so good , her songs it rymthys so good , this song is about love song and the american-made in top 8 is brooklyn baby this one is also amazing ,it is about her boyfriend, its love song again, which means se saying ''Del Rey declares, “You’re the man of my dreams, ‘cause you know how to leave.” top 7 is ''high in beach'' it is a moody and melancholic after being alone in 2015 top 6 is ''ride'' which the song is about ''No one loves a small-town Americana escape-meets-Lolita story more than Lana Del Rey, and “Ride” delivers a swelling ballad that recalls the quiet brilliance of “Video Games.” in top 5 is '' of to the races'' ''Lana Del Rey’s love of literature is underrated — but hyper-obvious — throughout her discography, but it’s on full display on this singsong-y track, which casts Del Rey as a life-hardened Lolita and her “old man” as a less gentile Humbert'' in top 4 is ''norman f0cking rockwell'' it means uhm i cant really say it but uh ill just put it ''Lana Del Rey opens her 2019 album of the same name with the stinging lyrics “Goddamn, man-child/You fucked me so good that I almost said ‘I love you,'” in top 3 is ''west coast '' it means ''Ambition and romance are warring forces on “West Coast,” one of Del Rey’s most psychedelic, unconventionally structured songs. In the “A” section of the rock ballad, the surf guitar is driving and tense, '' in top 2 is the greatest'' the meaning is “The Greatest” is the climax of Norman Fucking Rockwell!, a brilliant bicoastal reflection of pop culture in the same vein as Bob Dylan’s “Murder Most Foul,” Billy Joel’s “We Didn’t Start the Fire,”  in top one is ''video games'' made in 2011 its about
''The song that started it all: Lana Del Rey’s debut single under her new name created a whole aesthetic movement, changed the goal posts for pop music, and most importantly,'' that is all thank you[the image it isnt mine]

PnB Rock’s Accused Killer Found Guilty of Murder – Report

PNB ROCK’S ACCUSED KILLER FOUND GUILTY OF MURDER – REPORT
The two men charged in connection to the murder of PnB Rock have been found guilty.
PnB Rock Murder Trial Ends in Guilty Verdict
On Wednesday (Aug. 7), the trial for Freddie Trone and Tremont Jones came to a conclusion after the jury deliberated for less than four hours. Ultimately, Trone was found guilty of murder, two counts of robbery and one count of conspiracy in connection to the Philadelphia rap-crooner's Sept. 12, 2022 killing at Roscoe's Chicken 'N Waffles in South Los Angeles, according to Rolling Stone reporter Nancy Dillon. Jones was found guilty of robbery and conspiracy.
"I'm elated," PnB Rock's mom Deannea Allen told Rolling Stone following the announcement of the verdict.
Trone is the father of the 17-year-old shooter, who was deemed mentally unfit to stand trial and is currently in custody of the juvenile system. During the trial, the prosecution told the jury Trone and his son went to the restaurant after being tipped off by Tremont Jones that the rapper was dining there. The State alleged Trone instructed his son to go in and rob the rapper, who was shot and relieved of his jewelry by the teen in front of the rapper's fiancée Stephanie Sibounheuang and shocked patrons. Trone's defense team argued he only helped his son after the fact and had no part in setting up or masterminding the robbery.
"I understand you’re trying to put together your story," Freddie Trone told a prosecutor during cross-examination in a Compton courtroom on Monday (Aug. 5). "I never had nothing to do with it. I wasn’t there. I didn’t tell nobody to do nothing. I didn’t hand nobody no gun."
However, the jury disagreed.
Trone's wife and reported mistress were also charged in connection to the rapper's death. They pleaded no contest to being an accessory after the fact prior to the trial.
Trone and Jones will be sentenced at a later date.
XXL has reached out to Freddie Trone's attorney and the Los Angeles County Deputy District for comment.

PnB Rock's Family Gets Justice
PnB Rock's family has been waiting for nearly three years for justice to be served. Rock's mom Deannea Allen has been in attendance during the trial. On Monday, she told Rolling Stone, "I’m here to get justice. I want justice. This was my son, my child. I want the jury to know he has a family who loves him and wants to support him."
During the trial, Sibounheuang gave a harrowing testimony where she said the rapper saved her life. PnB Rock leaves behind a 4-year-old daughter.

Diddy's homes in Miami and Los Angeles were raided by Homeland Security agents back in March, with sons being placed in handcuffs during the raid. The dramatic raids unfolded on live television and were reportedly linked to a sex trafficking investigation. Diddy was not on the premises at the time, and had allegedly charted a plane to the Bahamas for a family vacation with his daughters. Diddy was seen talking with investigators on the tarmac in Florida, but ultimately was not arrested.
During the raid, the federal authorities seized all of his electronics as well as numerous weapons. Police also arrested Brendan Paul, who was accused of being Diddy's long-time drug mule.

J. Cole
Tumblr media
J. Cole isn't the first rapper you think of when it comes to police raids but it happened to him on March 18, 2016. While the MC and his Dreamville Records squad was down in Austin, Texas for the annual SXSW Music Festival, his North Carolina studio was being raided by armed SWAT team members. The incident served as the inspiration for his song "Neighbors," from his 2016 album, 4 Your Eyez Only.
The raid, which was captured on camera, shows 12 SWAT team members approaching the house and breaking through the door, with one of the officers disarming the camera that was recording the fiasco. Going off of a false tip by a neighbor who believed Cole and his friends were growing marijuana or using the house as a drug den, the officers jumped the gun.

Polo G
Tumblr media
Polo G had his house raided by police back in August of 2023. Video of the raid captured by TMZ showed a swarm of police wearing body armor in front of the Chicago rapper's Los Angeles home. Multiple people were seen exiting the home, including Polo G, who was led away in handcuffs. Police had reportedly been executing a search warrant on the home related to a robbery. Four people were detained. It is unclear if anyone was arrested following a search of the home.
"It is widely known that Polo is not a convicted felon and never was a convicted felon," Polo's lawyer Bradford Cohen said in a statement. "I personally got all his charges in Miami dismissed when he was in our opinion wrongfully arrested and charged."

Young Thug
Before the YSL RICO case took hold, Young Thug was arrested at his home on an outstanding warrant on July 15, 2015. During the time of his arrest, his home was also raided, with officers discovering drugs and guns on the premises. He was charged the following day on various felony drug and weapons charges, but Thugger would be released on $10,000 bail. Eventually, all of the charges against him were dismissed after the initial raid of his home was deemed illegal.

Lil Wayne
On Nov. 3, 2015, police raided Lil Wayne's Miami Beach mansion with a levy warrant, which is used to seize property, due to unpaid debts in relation to a judge's ruling that the rapper be ordered to pay $2 million to jet leasing company Signature Group in a civil suit.
Lil Wayne, who was not at home during the time of the raid, would comment on the raid via Twitter, writing, "It's days like 2day dat make me ? everything, even myself But I guess dis is da thx I get. Sum times it's tough 2b tough & even tougher 2b me." He also referred to to the women in his immediate family as his motivation for pushing on.

6ix9ine
6ix9ine had his Brooklyn home raided by the feds back in 2018. It was unclear what prompted the search, but police discovered a gun. Police weren't sure whether or not the gun had belonged to the controversial rainbow-haired rapper, as the rapper hadn't been back to his house in a few weeks. Additionally, a source close to 6ix9ine informed TMZ he was reportedly in the process of moving out of said house, and that movers had been in and out of the property for weeks.

Bobby Shmurda
One of the more infamous raids to occur in hip-hop happened on Dec. 18, 2014, when Brooklyn rapper Bobby Shmurda and members of his GS9 crew were arrested during a raid at Quad Studios in Manhattan, N.Y. as a result of a lengthy investigation of the Brooklyn-based crew. The raid, which came at the height of Bobby Shmurda's popularity, uncovered 21 guns, crack cocaine and marijuana. The incident would rock the rap community, who had positioned Shmurda as a budding star in the game. Ultimately, Bobby Shmurda would plea to conspiracy, weapons possession and promoting prison contraband and be sentenced to four years in prison, and was released in February of 2021.

Soulja Boy
Soulja Boy's antics finally caught up to him on Dec. 15, 2016, when police raided his home following a Crime Stoppers tip that the rapper had been threatening individuals on the internet with violence. The search would turn up a firearm which, being that he is a convicted felon, is a violation pf his probation, leading to Soulja's arrest. Charged with felony gun possession, Soulja would plead no contest in April 2017, receiving five years probation and 240 days of community labor. He was also not allowed to threaten anyone or possess any deadly weapons, not even a replica or toy gun, as part of the terms of his plea agreement.

Chief Keef
The new year started off on a rough note for Chief Keef, as the Chicago rapper found himself in deep trouble when he was arrested on Jan. 26, 2017, on suspicion of armed robbery in connection with a home invasion that took place in San Fernando Valley. The victim of the home invasion, producer Ramsay Tha Great, claims that Keef and a group of other individuals entered his home against his wishes. Ramsay mentioned the rapper by name in a social media post and accused him of stealing cash and a Rolex watch, in addition to assaulting him while one of the Keef's cohorts menacingly carried an AK-47.
After identifying Keef as the suspect in question, authorities obtained an arrest and search warrant for the rapper's home, where he would be cuffed and taken into custody, but would be released after posting $500,000 bail. The case remains ongoing.

DJ Drama
On Jan. 16, 2007, DJ Drama and Don Cannon found themselves in hot water after officers from the Morrow County Sheriff's Joint Vice Task Force and the Clayton County Police raided the pair's Atlanta-based Aphilliates Music Group offices. Drama and Cannon were arrested on felony charges under the RICO Act. During the raid, 81,000 mixtapes were confiscated, as well as computers, recording equipment and four cars. Although DJ Drama and Don Cannon would not face any jail time, the raid was a big blow to the mixtape game, and stands as a pivotal moment in rap history.

Irv Gotti
Many may point to Murder Inc.'s beef with 50 Cent's G-Unit crew and affiliates as the catalyst for the label's fall from grace, but an investigation into Murder Inc.'s business dealings with a notorious drug lord would also be crippling and have lasting ramifications.
On Jan. 3, 2003, in the wee hours of the morning, a team of FBI agents and NYPD investigators arrived at Universal Music Group's Manhattan location, raiding the Murder Inc. offices, going as far as to bring along drug-sniffing dogs in an effort to find any dirt on Irv Gotti and his company that they could. Although authorities would confiscate documents and laptops, no arrests would be made the day of the raid. However, two years later, Irv Gotti and his brother, Chris Gotti, would be charged with laundering over $1 million in drug profits for Kenneth "Supreme" McGriff, the leader of the Supreme Team, a criminal organization that controlled the drug trade in Jamaica, Queens and beyond during the 1980s. Although McGriff would be found guilty of murder conspiracy and drug trafficking, Irv Gotti and his brother would be acquitted on all charges in 2005. This was one of the more high-profile criminal cases in rap history.

Gillie Da Kid
Philly rapper Gillie Da Kid found himself within the long arms of the law on Feb. 6, 2007, when the former Cash Money affiliate was arrested and accused of running two drug stash houses in the Oxford Circle section of his hometown. He was apprehended while leaving one of the locations with five other associates in a fleet of luxury cars. Officials received a tip that the buildings were a hotbed for drug activity. Gillie would be charged with conspiracy and possessing narcotics with the intent to deliver after officers raided the two homes and found upwards of 89 pounds of marijuana, with a street value of over $404,000 according to Narcotics Capt. Chris Werner. Although Gillie would be accused of supplying various drug dealers all over the city of Philadelphia and beyond, in 2008, the rapper would be cleared of all charges.

Gucci Mane
Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka Flame's Georgia home was raided back in December of 2010. The raid was related to an investigation into possible prostitution and evidence of guns and drugs at the location. And although Waka Flocka was not home at the time of the raid, rapper Gucci Mane was, as he lived with Waka and his mother for a period of time.
Gucci was cuffed after police found weapons and a small amount of marijuana on the scene, but he would be subsequently released. Waka Flocka's mother would also claim that police were looking for evidence of her son being affiliated with any street gangs, with Waka adding that the notion that he would be gang-banging is a hilarious one and a reach on the cops' part.

Nipsey Hussle
Nipsey Hussle was set to hit the stage at the 2014 Made in America music festival, but a police raid that occurred hours prior to his scheduled performance threw those plans off course. On Aug. 29, 2014, LAPD arrived at Slauson Avenue Clothing in L.A.'s Hyde Park section in response to a probation complaint search, arresting the man in question, as well as Nipsey Hussle. The late rapper missed his scheduled performance that day, but posted a $13,000 bail to ensure that he would be able to rock the house on the second day of the Made in America festival.

Juelz Santana
On Feb. 2, 2011, Harlem rapper and Dipset member Juelz Santana surrendered to authorities and was charged with various felony drug offenses after a January 2011 raid of his New Jersey music studio. The search turned up two fully loaded handguns, ammunition and 17 plastic Ziplock bags of marijuana. The raid, which was the culmination of what authorities say was a 10-month-long investigation, resulted in Santana being charged with possession of a handgun without having a permit, possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance within 1,000 feet of a school zone and two other similar counts. The rhymer would post $125,000 bail and claim that he was being unfairly targeted by the police.

Belly
Canadian rapper Belly was very unhappy with Ottawa police following an August 2008 raid on his home in the city's outskirts. Officers from various law enforcement departments executed a search warrant for firearms, busting down the rapper's door with a battering ram and even attempting to break a camera, which captured the incident. Much of the rapper's belongings were tossed around in the search of any contraband. While authorities found imitation firearms, no sign of criminal activity was present and no charges would be filed against Belly, which did little to appease the rapper.
"I'm so twisted up about [the raid] right now. I have so many mixed emotions about it—I get angry, then I get sad, then I get frustrated. It's like I got nowhere to turn about it," Belly said to reporters after the incident. "Every musician knows your studio is like—it's a bubble for you. It's a personal space. This is where I work, where I create. It's crazy. I just feel like this is violation."

Paul Wall
Paul Wall's drink of choice may have been lean during his rise to fame, but in 2016, the rapper got caught in a controversy involving a drug of a different variety. On Dec. 23, 2016, the "Sittin' Sidewayz" rapper and a group of 10 individuals, including Baby Bash, were arrested after police raided Paradise Smoke Shop, where the group had been holding a private party, collecting toys for disadvantaged children. The rapper was charged with manufacturing and delivering Tetrahydrocannabinol, commonly known as THC, after being found in possession of the drug. Paul would later be freed on $20,000 bond and has since been exonerated on all charges, making this run-in with the law a close call.

Trick Daddy
Trick Daddy was blindsided by Miami police on April 3, 2014, when he was detained while getting out of his car. The rapper was arrested on charges of drug and gun possession after authorities obtained a search warrant for the rapper's home, where they discovered cocaine, a handgun and ammunition. Charged with possession of cocaine, possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon, and driving with a suspended license, Trick would be released on bond and all charges would be dropped in May 2015.

MoneyBagg Yo
MoneyBagg Yo's March 2016 release party for his compilation mixtape should've been a celebratory affair, but instead, it was a chaotic night. 28 attendees were arrested by Memphis police during a raid of the party. An estimated 60 representatives from local, state and federal agencies took part in the operation, which was intended to target gang activities, violence, probation and parole violations, and fugitives.
The cops' search yielded 10 weapons, a bulletproof vest, cash and drugs. A majority of the 28 people detained were hit with charges involving drugs, alcohol or weapons.

Stormzy
Apparently, police raids in hip-hop don't only occur in the U.S., but also abroad as well. U.K. rapper Stormzy found this out the hard way on Feb. 14, 2017. The front door to the rapper's London flat was damaged after Metropolitan Police attempted to raid his home after mistaking the millionaire for a burglar.
"Woke up to Feds destroying my front door coz apparently I'm a burglar who burgles his own home," the rapper wrote on Twitter, posting a picture of the damage done. "@metpoliceuk need your bank details still." Authorities claimed that they received a call reporting "a conspiracy to burgle a ground-floor flat, believed to have been vacant." Stormzy and his associate were lawful occupants of the home, and law enforcement would issue an apology for their blunder by suggesting that the rapper send them a DM if he had any further complaints about the mixup.

Suge Knight
On Nov. 15, 2002, deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department raided the Beverly Hills office of Suge Knight's record label, Tha Row, one of the mogul's properties in Las Vegas and several other locations in search of evidence connected to the June 2002 murder of Eric Daniels, a gang member from Compton, Calif.
Receiving a tip that the murder may have been planned at Tha Row offices, investigators would arrest three men during the raids, including Tha Row employee Theodore Kelly, charging them with murder-conspiracy. Knight, who had recently been released from prison at the time after serving a four-year sentence for violation of probation, would not be arrested nor charged.

T.I.
T.I.'s arrest sent shockwaves through the music world on Oct. 27, 2007. Officers from the ATF, U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force, Fulton County SWAT, Fulton County PD, Dekalb County PD and the ATF/Atlanta PD Violent Crime Impact Team all teamed up to execute a raid on the rapper's house after he had allegedly purchased guns illegally through one of his bodyguards. The raid, and T.I.'s immediate arrest, would coincide with the 2007 BET Awards ceremony and bring back to light hip-hop's strained history with law enforcement.
While the optics appeared irreparable on first glance, T.I. would plead guilty to weapons charges and was sentenced to a year of prison time, a relatively light sentence in comparison to what many had predicted, giving the trap king-turned-mainstream star a second lease on life.

Maxo Kream
Houston rapper Maxo Kream and his Kream Clicc Gang were arrested and charged with numerous drugs and weapons charges on Oct. 20, 2017, after members from various law enforcement agencies banded together to perform raids on several locations connected to the crew. According to investigators, Maxo Kream and company were using the U.S. Postal Service to ship marijuana from California to Texas, which lead to the raid across multiple residences in Fort Bend County and Harris County in Texas. During the raid, authorities turned up approximately 85 pounds of marijuana, 2,000 Xanax pills, 13 firearms (three confirmed stolen), body armor, cash, jewelry and drug contraband indicative of manufacturing, packaging and distributing illicit narcotics. Maxo Kream, who would post $200,000 bail, would proclaim his innocence via social media. "They're out here saying organized crime, bro," he wrote. "I'm organizing music for my album....Doing right....Trying to take care of the family." As of press time, the charges against Maxo Kream and the rest of the Kream Clicc Gang are still pending.

Turk
Things got especially heated for former Hot Boys member Turk in January 2004, when the rapper found himself in a shootout with Memphis SWAT Team members during a raid in a Memphis apartment—they were searching for drugs and weapons. Although Turk would maintain his innocence and deny knowing who fired the shot that critically wounded a SWAT team officer, in October 2005, the rapper would be found guilty on three weapons charges and sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Afroman
The Adams County Sheriff’s Department ran up on Afroman’s home in August of 2022, where officers searched and failed to find any illegal narcotics within the premises. Afroman was in Chicago at the time of the raid, and said on social media the police had profiled him because of his music, which includes songs like "Because I Got High."
In classic Afroman fashion, the rapper had filmed the entire raid via his security cameras, and later compiled the footage together to turn into a music video called "Will You Help Me Repair My Door." Ohio Sheriff's deputies sued him for this.

Sean Kingston
Sean Kingston's rented Southwest Ranches mansion in Dania Beach, Fla. was raided by a SWAT team serving arrest and search warrants on May 23, 2024. During the raid, the crooner's mother Janice Turner was taken into custody on numerous fraud and theft charges. Kingston was arrested hours later in California on fraud and theft charges as well.
The arrests were reportedly in connection to Kingston failing to pay for a $150,000 television sound system he was sold from Ver Vert Entertainment.
