Hello bike people and bike curious people,

I finally did it! This is my cycling specific side blog. I am going to use it to post about my bike stuff: rides, pictures, a bit of writing... I am really considering the idea of making some videos about both rides but also my tinkering and working on bikes in general.

I'd love for this blog to be useful on top of being a place for me to dump my bicycles related ideas in. I would like to use it to encourage people to approach cycling as both a hobby and a mean of everyday transportation, a place to find community and a sort of repeater for other people who is into cycling (whatever side of it) or even just intrigued by it.

Gouqi island is located in the Shengsi archipelago of about 400 islands. Jane Qing captured the stunning images of this city of seemingly endless buildings, which were a part of a fishing village years ago. The region has a history of doing well, even today, in the fishing industry. Yet, this particular island seems to have been forgotten.

Each discovery of abandoned cityscapes is captivating, but one covered in beautiful ivy and greenery surely enchants in its own way.

I think some fans get too attached their fluffy headcanons in the space between these games. You should know by now this world is blighted and corrupted and that peace and stability is so fragile every decade or so something happens to break it. Every attempt to save Thedas is only going to half-work until the Blight is solved. All our heroes have been doing is putting off the inevitable.

What our heroes do is not save the world, but give it a chance.

the worst part is i can't even say he's wrong. they certainly did figure out how to contribute the city by joining the wrgp. but like. this is one of those things where it literally does not make sense. this is insane levels of logic. "we're not sure how to contribute to the city. we think entering a magic the gathering tournament will help." like. imagine saying that fr when your parents ask what you're going to do after you graduate college. "idk. thought i'd play card games and figure it out, man"

did the oc species thing

well, a bit of a redesign of my first ever star wars oc, Nema Akjuret

she's Zodiaque, a species that was believed to have been annihilated by the Sith in the last war. Some of them survived because they cryofroze large swathes of their people in hidden places and every once in a while one of them pops up when a pod malfunctions or gets discovered.

Nema got sold into slavery as a very small child so she has absolutely zero recollection of her origins. A wandering seeker comes across her by accident during the last days of the Clone Wars and takes her under his wing to at least teach her some shielding and whatnot (she's already way too old to be accepted into the order by then)

they know each other for less than a week when O66 hits

her finder gets killed helping her escape and hide and from then on she's alone again in a world out to hunt her.

#but she meets her actual cousin (my friend's oc) and together they go on a merry adventure to reclaim their lost planet and people!#which i have all up in my brain imagined and locked and loaded since i was 12 #the Zodiaque are semi-aquatic and lived in large cities in underwater caves #protected by the ice crust that surrounds the outer part of their planet #random boli thoughts #star wars #my art #i should draw some more of the ocs of this i remember #nostalgia pure

update on inquisition: solas broke up with my inquisitor, so she swore at him and then stomped off to lure and fight a high dragon while her companions complained the whole time
