At first I was confused. I'd posted this NYC condo over a year ago and it hasn't sold. But, then I realized what the realtor did- this is a photoshopped version of what it COULD look like. The 5bd, 5ba, 4,076 sq ft apt. is priced at $8.75m, but this is not what it really looks like.

This is what the new owner would be buying. As far as I'm concerned it's cool, but I guess this is why it hasn't sold. So, let's go on and compare the real thing to the realtor's desperate vision, hoping to sell it.

The large living room looking all white and gray.

And, the large living room as it is. But, the carpet- it's like art. I bet it was expensive. And, I love the interesting light fixture.

In the realtor's vision, a built-in bookshelf appears in the corner and there are draperies. The carpet is gone, in favor of a new wood floor and area rugs.

No curtains, the carpet pattern changes, which is cool. I would probably repaint a brighter color, the walls need a refresh.

This is how the dining room could look. I'm surprised that they kept the built-in corner table. Another built-in shelf, too.

The carpet continues around to the dining room. The place does need painting, the walls look worn.

The kitchen would look like this with a total gut.

Because this is the current kitchen. Check out the floor. Love the Playboy bunny stool. And, look at the cool lights going around the ceiling, that the realtor removed.

The new primary bedroom. It's a nice big room, isn't it?

This is the bedroom now. It's looking a little tired and needs refreshing.

The realtor didn't change the delightful child's room. Look at the colorful little loft above the bed.

This bath, however, is a different story. This is how it could look.

And, this is how it looks now. Lots of mosaics.

They didn't alter this bath. (There are 5). The little pink sink is cute and the blue tile isn't too bad to leave alone.

This is considered an amazing view in Manhattan.

I think I can see NJ.

So, the new owner will have what they call a million dollar view.

It's a huge apt. , which is why it's so expensive. But, a buyer would have to consider the extra cost of remodeling it.

No sale on stolen land. Protesters prevented a Zionist real estate event in Brooklyn today. The sale includes properties in Israeli settlements in the West Bank, which are considered illegal under international law. The demonstrators argue selling land in these settlements to only Jewish purchasers further entrenches the settlements and the Israeli occupation.. There have been a growing number land sale events in recent months.

Initially, organizers from PAL-Awda NY/NJ, the Palestinian Assembly for Liberation, and PAL-Awda Mothers’ Committee, alongside 40 other organizations, called for a protest against an “israeli real estate event… set to take place in Flatbush, Brooklyn, where realtors [would] engage in selling property in occupied Palestine, settlements deemed illegal under international law.” After encouraging people to file complaints, the event was canceled, and the protest was redirected into a vigil.

Dianne Halbach Arrested For DUI.

Dianne Halbach was arrested for Driving Under The Influence of alcohol. Her entire family has had bouts with DUI's and alcoholism. Dianne Halbach, 63 of Pompton Plains now works at Caldwell Banker as a realtor in her home town.

Originally from Oradell, NJ, she grew up drinking mass quantities of alcohol when she attended River Dell High School. She was originally kicked out of both IHA and Holy Angels High Schools for drinking and rowdie, unladylike behavior.

Halbach, a GED High School equivalent, has a history of drinking as well as having a violent nature. Her history or MO, if you will, is to drink 5 or 6 Martini's, followed by wine and after dinner cordials. If someone looks at her in a wrong way, Dianne is known to explode in a tirade.; often physically assaulting diners.

Trying to go back to her Bergen County roots, Halbach's BMW has been the product of many smash-ups over the years. Neighbors have noticed her car parked on her front lawn more than once. Dianne Halbach has even once hit her house. In doing so, the front door and framing came falling down almost killing her.

Halbach's hard partying ways since grade school has landed her in trouble both in school and in her adult life. A regular bar fly at the Yorkshire Pub in River Edge, Halbach was known to pound the drinks even as a young teenager. But as an adult, she drank so many Rob Roy's 5 Thanksgivings ago, she fell and bruised her entire face. It almost seems like a death wish for Dianne Halbach.
