Know what has irked me the most? That ALL important moments happen offscreen. They literally do not know how to go about portraying them because they are so substantial in their own right so they take the safe option. EVERY FUCKING TIME.

They have consistently done this throughout the season. It just never gets REAL and just leaves you feeling empty and dissatisfied.

Like I've said, show us the good, the bad but ALSO very importantly the ugly. They have always shied away from the ugly. They hint at things but we never get the payoff of watching important moments actually unfold on screen.
