In honour of the Full Moon 2night I am gonna ramble about my Entirely Disjointed Moon War Headcanons,,

Conversations for the first few weeks were therefore Very Southern Jonny And Very Scouse Bertie think Louder Means Clearer while everyone else trys to knock themselves out for a bit of peace from them.

The war started because earth abandoned the struggling lunar colonies to fend for themselves. They weren't like. Comedically Evil Let's Build A Fuck Off Big Canon And Threaten To Make Britain Britisn't For Fun. Please. They have to have. Some kind of reason c'mon.

Jonny was a Lieutenant, and Tim had stumbled his way to Captain by the end. Bertie was a medic.

adding to that, he was training as a paramedic and was drafted. Tim technically Enlisted after him: if Everyone was probably getting conscripted they might aswell try and get in the same unit.

Adding to that I am staunchly of the opinion that jonny calling berties death "Pointless And Hilarious" is because he was trying to save him. Because Owchieeeee!!

Poor transport and supply infrastructure led to desperation. Not that Jonny needed the excuse to Start Canabalism either way but yk. Atleast he had a reason this time, Thank You Very Much.

British troops thought there was Some kind of cryptid stalking the tunnels with them as they'd just find whole units destroyed like they'd never even fought back- didn't really matter how low morale was tho because. Yk. Luna Was Running Out Of Troops. Tim and Jonny definitely Made Shit Up to add to the mythos after a point.

Jonny was Also a trench myth. But in a That Guy Won't Fuckin Die Way. The Disappointment the kaiser talks about in ttwtk is that Jonny did "die" not that he wouldn't. He also didn't see anything wrong with the toy soldier. He Really Had No Idea everything was about to kick off.

The lights in most of the tunnels were so bad that the only time you would clearly see anyone else was during alarms. Leads to some. Conflicting Feelings.

The kaisers quarters were dazzlingly bright. Not necessarily because they were any better lit than usual but because they'd just been in the dark so long it was painful.

The reason Tim hesitated closing the visor is because one of the other guards looked like Bertie- and if The Toy Soldier was there then- and by the time he realised it wasn't him it was too late.

I'm a sucker for tragic military-adjacent characters wearing eachothers dogtags okay. Tim wears his, Jonny's, and Berties, and The Toy Soldier's one from the Lunar corps- As a sort of Eternal Fuck-You.

This isn't really moon war but Aside From Raph And Marius, Tim is the youngest on the crew. We're A Very Established Group And oh god why does jonny have that look on his face.
