Anyone else troubled by the fact that our new Nimish friends haven't been added to the cast-section? Makes it seem like something horrible will happen that causes them to not be around for long enough to be considered relevant enough for the story 🙃

Technically 'Aster' comes from star so all the Asters are disqualified 💖 and also all the "flowers" that are actually named after the botanists that discovered them, and the ones named after catholic saints.

Every character who isn't named after the specific Latin botanical name, but also only the Eudicots, and again no Asterids. Actually no flowers named after gods either. So all the Proteales are also out. And let's just throw away any Ranuncula since that just means Little Frog, and the Pulsatilla are named after the Jewish passover.

Do we keep Rose's since the word comes from grape wine? I'm torn on this one. Nelumbo's should def get a pass because it means woodland, but Plata is for plains, which are flatlands so the Platana are out.

This is so hard, it's almost like humans just called the plants they saw whatever they wanted or something.

The Japanese names of all the Pokémon characters here are botanic-related.

Yes, even Leon. It's not a stretch to say it comes from Dandelion since he's called Dande in Japanese...

Penny's name is really linked to Peony, it's not just short for Penelope or something. Her original name is Botan, which, unsurprisingly, means Peony.

That's also for that kind of stuff than I'm against antipropaganda, morality aside, it's rarely even done properly because people don't bother researching characters they don't know before criticizing them

She is also like a female version of Tuls. she is also similar in stature to Tuls.

She will be Tuls’s best friend, Michelle comments on the fact that she is also yellow which is likely a reference to Ranunculae.

But I must inform you that Fira is a fan character made by one of Michelle’s friends and she already has her own. This scene was most likely there to confirm that her friends character didn’t die. Though it could set up future events.
