The Venkateshwara Group celebrated its 26th foundation anniversary with great enthusiasm and excitement. 

The Venkateshwara Group - north India’s leading education group celebrated its 26th foundation day with full fanfare and fervor.

Today also marks the birth anniversary of our Founder President, Dr Sudhir Giri.

We celebrated it by cutting cakes at both Meerut and Gajraula campuses & by organizing a grand feast for the masses.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, along with the students & staff, performed yagna, havan, tree plantation & blood donation for the wellbeing, & good health of the countrymen.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi & the CEO Mr. Ajay Shrivastava inaugurated the event by cutting ribbon for blood donation camp & lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.

The VC, Dr Krishna Kant Dave and the CMS Dr IB Raju, joined them to unveil the 26th foundation day celebration.

The grand celebration included planting fruit-bearing shady trees and a voluntary blood donation by 182 students and faculty members. 

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President, Dr Sudhir Giri, reiterated in just 2.5 decades this tiny sapling established in the name of Lord Venkateshwara has become a reputed name in higher technical & medical education.  

By meeting the expectations of parents, students and the public at large, it has become a leading name not only in UP but in the entire north India.

He further emphasized that I will be indebted to all those parents who have reposed faith in me and chosen Venkateshwara for their ward’s education.

I want to reassure them that by using technology and resources effectively, we will give our students a great opportunity to display their talents at national and international events.

This way they can bring laurels not only for us but the country.

In celebration of World Heart Day, Shri Venkateshwara University and VIMS multispecialty hospital organized a seminar on the importance of balanced life in maintaining cardiac health.

Over a dozen renowned cardiologists from all over the country took part in the seminar.

The Group Chairman, Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor, Dr Rajiv Tyagi, Chief Medical Superintendent, Dr IB Raju, & the Dean Academics Dr Sanjiv Bhatt inaugurated the seminar by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.

The Chief Speaker & renowned Cardiologist Dr VK Saxena, & Dr Ana Brown joined them to inaugurate the seminar on the role of balanced life in Cardiac Health.

The Group Chairman, Dr Sudhir Giri, reiterated the heart is the most important organ of the body. Hence it’s our responsibility to keep it healthy through regular exercise/Yoga, balanced diet, & by not smoking.

Dr. Jaggi, a well-known cardiologist, confirmed that unhealthy habits like smoking, drinking, poor diet, stress, diabetes, hypertension, and pollution cause heart attacks. Through a disciplined lifestyle & balanced diet, we can keep our hearts healthy for a long time.

Dr. VK Saxena, a Senior Cardiologist at VIMS & Primus Delhi believes that a balanced and healthy lifestyle can help prevent heart attacks.

Senior Physician Dr I B Raju opined through balanced diet, Yoga & meditation we can keep our hearts healthy.

The Academic Dean, Dr. Sanjiv Bhatt, was of the opinion that we should get our heart checked at regular intervals.

After the seminar, the Doctors carried out an awareness rally to educate people about a healthy heart. They stressed the importance of a disciplined lifestyle to keep the heart healthy.

The MBBS & Nursing students made colorful Rangoli & Posters to highlight the importance of a healthy heart. Later, the college management honored the winners by giving them certificates & a memento.

We honored esteemed cardiologists, Dr. GL Jaggi and Dr. VK Saxena, along with other physicians, by presenting them with shawls and a memento as a token of appreciation for their exceptional medical service.

In honour of International Nurses Day, Shri Venkateshwara University School of Nursing organized a felicitation and oath-taking ceremony for nurses.

We applauded the role of the Nurses for providing selfless service & honored them for doing exemplary work & providing care to the patients.

SVU held an international seminar to discuss the Role of Nursing professionals in increasing awareness of transgender rights and health.

The Group Chairman, Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi, CEO Mr. Ajay Shrivastava, & the Chief Guest Dr Shalini Singh from the Ministry of Social Justice, inaugurated the events by offering flowers on the portrait of F. Nightingale & Goddess Saraswati.

On the birthday of Florence Nightingale, over 400 nursing students pledged for dedicated medical service" by lighting a candle.

भाजपा प्रत्याशी, विधायक और जिलाध्यक्ष सहित कई पर एफआईआर दर्ज बदायूं लोकसभा क्षेत्र में आचार संहिता के उल्लंघन की पहली प्राथमिकी भारतीय जनता पार्टी की प्रत्याशी संघमित्रा मौर्य पर दर्ज कराई गई है। प्राथमिकी में संघमित्रा मौर्य के साथ भाजपा विधायक और भाजपा जिलाध्यक्ष सहित कई वरिष्ठ पदाधिकारियों व कार्यकर्ताओं के नाम हैं। प्राथमिकी दर्ज होने से भाजपा नेता और कार्यकर्ता स्तब्ध नजर आ रहे हैं। पढ़ें: उच्च शिक्षित दबंग महिला हैं संघमित्रा मौर्य, मुलायम सिंह से भिड़ चुकी हैं संघमित्रा मौर्य 27 मार्च को गुन्नौर लोकसभा क्षेत्र में गई थीं, इस दौरान गुन्नौर स्थित दीनानाथ इंटर कॉलेज में लाउडस्पीकर लगा कर सभा आयोजित की गई। सब-इंस्पेक्टर द्वारा दर्ज कराई गई प्रथिमिकी में लिखा है कि आयोजक सभा की अनुमति नहीं दिखा सके, साथ ही 1012 कारें थीं, जिन पर भाजपा के झंडे और स्टीकर लगे थे, यहाँ के बाद कस्बा बबराला में स्थित शंकर धर्मशाला में भी सभा आयोजित की गई, यहाँ भी आयोजक अनुमति नहीं दिखा पाए, इसके बाद अनुमति के ब��ना ही गाँव दबथरा में भी सभा की गई थी। सब-इंस्पेक्टर ने अनुमति के बिना सभा न करने को कहा तो, किसी ने उसकी बात नहीं मानी। धारा- 144 सीआरपीसी की धारा- 188/17 आईपीसी के अंतर्गत प्राथमिकी दर्ज कराई गई है, जिसमें भाजपा विधायक अजीत कुमार "राजू", भाजपा जिलाध्यक्ष राजेश सिंघल, प्रशांत अग्रवाल, कुमोद वार्ष्णेय और आशु के नाम हैं। प्राथमिकी दर्ज होने से भाजपा नेता व कार्यकर्ता स्तब्ध नजर आ रहे हैं। (गौतम संदेश की खबरों से अपडेट रहने के लिए एंड्राइड एप अपने मोबाईल में इन्स्टॉल कर सकते हैं एवं गौतम संदेश को फेसबुक और ट्वीटर पर भी फ़ॉलो कर सकते हैं, साथ ही वीडियो देखने के लिए गौतम संदेश चैनल को सबस्क्राइब कर सकते हैं)

Shri Venkateshwara University held a seminar to mark World Brain Tumor Day. 

On World Brain Tumor Day, VIMS Multispeciality hospital & VGI Meerut, with the support of the Venkateshwara Group, organized a seminar on the topic Brain tumor can be detected, diagnosed and managed.

India’s renowned surgeon, Prof. Dr IB Raju, informed the reasons causing brain tumor & explained the symptoms & treatment for this life-threatening disease.  

We honored Dr. IB Raju and Dr. Ravi Mohan Sharma, a distinguished psychiatrist, for their outstanding contributions to mental health.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, IAS Mr. Rajesh Kumar Tyagi, IAS & former Commissioner Mr. Balvinder Kumar & the Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.

Surgeon Dr IB Raju & psychiatrist Dr Ravi Mohan Sharma joined them to unveil the World Brain Tumor Day seminar.

In his address, Dr IB Raju emphasized that excessive radiation, over use of electromagnetic equipment’s & westernized lifestyle are the main reasons for brain tumor. If it’s detected in the early stages, then the patient’s life can be saved. Brain tumors are both cancerous & non-cancerous types.   

He advised youngsters to limit usage of mobile & avoid working on mobiles late in the night.

The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi announced VIMS is the Centre of Excellence for all kinds of mental illness.

Those present included the Chief Medical Superintendent Dr IB Raju, Academic Dean Dr Sanjeev Bhatt, Dr Ikram Elahi, Dr Manik Tyagi, Dr Shahid Mir, Dr Prachi Tyagi, & the Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey.

Shri Venkateshwara University held a blood donation camp on the second day of the service fortnight celebrating PM Narendra Modi's birthday.

Shri Venkateshwara University and VIMS Multispeciality Hospital held a mega blood donation and cleanliness drive on the second day of the service fortnight celebrating PM Narendra Modi's birthday.

The Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, DM Mr. Rajesh Tyagi, MLA Dhanora Mr Rajiv Tarara, & the Pro Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi inaugurated the event by cutting a ribbon & lighting a lamp.

Mr. Rajiv Singh, the Additional Superintendent of Police, and Mr. Shubham Chaudhary, the BJYM District President, teamed up to launch a mega blood donation and cleanliness campaign.

A Block of the VIMS Multispecialty hospital under the aegis of Shri Venkateshwara University was the venue of the grand camp.

Many people, including police officers, students, staff, teachers, farmers, and NGOs, donated over 400 units of blood to show love for the Prime Minister.

They pledged to save lives by donating blood on various occasions.

Further, the DM, SDM, SP, ASP, and the MLA also volunteered to donate blood.

Further, the Venkateshwara Group began a mega cleanliness drive at its premises to realize PM’s Clean India Healthy India mission. The officials launched the cleanliness drive by cleaning the campus with a broom.

Dr Rajiv Tyagi, the Pro Chancellor, announced that the Venkateshwara Group will hold several events during the service fortnight.

These include organ donation motivation camp, traffic awareness, women empowerment, sports events, cultural programmes, and more.

Jul 13, 2022 18:40 IST Rewari (Haryana) , July 13 (AF/NewsVoir): To support the goal of eliminating Tuberculosis elimination in India by 2025, Becton Dickinson (BD) India has launched SANKALP - a 'Pledge to Fight TB Together'. Launched in Rewari today, Project SANKALP is aimed to be a catalytic effort to further strengthen the existing state machinery for TB diagnosis & management and developing a replicable and sustainable model that can be scaled up in other geographies. To begin with, the project is being initiated in Khol TB Unit (TBU) of District Rewari, with the target to cover a 2.2 lakh population spanning across 38,000 households in 118 villages in Year 1. Having gained learnings from the on-ground experience in Year 1, SANKALP will be subsequently reviewed and scaled up to other TBUs in Rewari over the next 3-5 years. Project SANKALP aims to support TB patients throughout their journey to facilitate early detection and timely management. This will be achieved by bringing the TB diagnostics closer to the patients through a customized SANKALP mobile screening van that is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic interventions including CBNAAT, Xray & AI assisted Teleradiology innovation, and blood glucose monitoring for eligible cases (patients) as per the NTEP algorithms & guidelines. The SANKALP team will conduct door-to-door active case finding for increased case detection & notifications, while also focusing on improving awareness within the community and healthcare providers for proper referrals to the program. Present at the launch of SANKALP, Vishal Taneja, Business Director, MDS & NT, BD India/South Asia said, "SANKALP is designed to be a proactive intervention that starts from the root- identifying people with tuberculosis symptoms and supporting across the care continuum for positive patient outcomes. SANKALP team is integrated within the local community to enable and encourage adherence, that includes linking patients and their contacts with free testing, medication and other services of the government." Lauding BD's efforts in launching SANKALP at Rewari, Deputy Commissioner Ashok Kumar Garg, IAS said, "Project SANKALP stands out for its focus on improved patient outcomes through holistic interventions that address key aspects of the TB care cascade, including community & HCP awareness, capacity building of stakeholders, and support being provided to patients and their families & contacts to simplify their journey and prevent loss to follow up." Explaining about the benefits of SANKALP, Dr Krishan Kumar, Civil Surgeon, Rewari added, "We are happy to support SANKALP implementation in our district as we believe that it will further bolster and complement our efforts on the ground towards attaining our TB elimination goal. The SANKALP team is collaborating closely with us to achieve the desired program outcomes." After stand-up comic Bharti as Singh and her husband were arrested for drugs possession, one of India’s oldest and most respected stand-up artistes Raju Shrivastava condemned the culture of substance abuse.

“I am shocked at the way artistes today cross the laxman rekha. You can’t cross the line of decency. Of course I’m aware times have changed. Nonetheless stand-up comedians should not forget where they come from. We are Indians, so please don’t imitate American stand-up comedians.”

Raju finds it hard to believe that Bharti has confessed to consuming banned substance. “She is such a simple sweet goodhearted girl, so focused on her work, why does she need drugs to be effective? As a stand-up comedian for 40 years I have never touched any drugs or alcohol. Addiction to these can destroy the best of careers. Look at Rajesh Khanna, the biggest superstar ever. His career was destroyed in 7-8 years because of alcohol. Then look at the next superstar Amitabh Bachchan, still going great guns at 78. He doesn’t touch a drop of alcohol. The great comic actor Keshto Mukherjee played a drunkard in all his films. He never touched alcohol.”

Raju Shrivastava feels an entertainer needs no stimulant to perform and entertain. “Rafi Saab, Lataji ….did they ever touch any kind of stimulant to reach the summits that they did? We all need to learn from these greats. Bharti should know young girls look up to her as a role-model. What kind of an example as she setting by admitting that she smokes ganja? Let’s hope her career doesn’t go up in smoke. Yeh toh wahi baat ho gayi…Lalli ho gayi talli.”

Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute School of Nursing organized the Nurses felicitation cum Oath ceremony on the occasion of International Nurses Day.  

We honoured nursing professionals & students for providing excellent medical service & pledged them to provide selfless service with full dedication.

Further, we hosted an international seminar on the Role of Nursing Professionals in health care.

We honoured over 250 Nurses of VIMS (Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences) with a shawl & memento for providing excellent medical services.

The students of the Venkateshwara School of Nursing made the event memorable by presenting street plays & cultural programs that were admired by all.
