To the best of my knowledge no, at least for my real name! My internet name, Rags, I actually just ended up snagging from one of my OCs - a washed up rockstar named Cosimo Ragatz, who was a recovering drug addict that founded an indie record label with his wife.

Oh god, it was some time last week?? So much real life stuff had piled up and I think it was honestly some kind of mini-break or smth, god only knows. But I’m feeling better now lol.

ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY NOT LMAO. My mom passed when I was young and I raised my younger siblings, I’ve done my time in the child rearing mines and I’m never doing it again.

4. What sports do you play/have you played?

For a really long time I rode horses and I was a really good three day eventer. I also really loved archery and swimming. I also rode dirt bikes too, and I’d love to get back into it!! 🥰🥰

Yes indeed!! But I’m not sure that I use it as much as I used to. Not for any particular reason, I don’t think dgheh.

History and English!!! I really wanted to be a historical researcher for a career when I was in school and I still think about it. I would’ve liked to study Appalachian history from pre-Civil War to present.

LOL 😂😂 historical researcher, possibly an author, or a rare and antique jewelry shop owner siiigh. I really fell in love with fine jewelry at my last job, and I would DIE to be able to do it again, but in a much more niche fashion.

I added a new graphics card (gtx 4060 babeyyyyy) and a new hard drive (m2 even!) and reinstalled my operating system, as well as most of the programs I use day-to-day!

It does mean I am finally clear of all the bloatware from my uni days (fuck all the way into the sun, Apache and Anaconda and all the other bullshit), and given that my C:\ drive was actively failing, this is a very good nice new start!

And despite my actual bachelor's degree in IT, I only accidentally downloaded malware once (trying to pirate photoshop, fucking hell, because I couldn't find any of my three downloaded installs for it--) and I ripped that back out in about twenty minutes so. Evidently I'm good at ripping out malware.

Got steam up and running, tested a couple of games to make sure they were all running, even redid all of my personalization, and everything is excellent. Gonna clear out some likes, get ahead of the 400 posts I need to queue, and take a little looksie at my website before I head to bed.

If all goes well, I will spend tomorrow doing nothing but coding my website. Once it's been properly refactored and updated, I will edit a link back into my pinned post.

Once that happens, I have much file organization to do, which will make me very happy. Then it's some blog organization, more art and more writing, and we'll see!

...but mostly website. That's gonna take us a hot minute.

“Mwah mwah mwah!!” Wet kisses were given until Mike was sitting alone awe struck. And questioning the amount of lip gloss used. Eli backs away from (Y/N), “Brook- BROOKE!” Eli was left alone without his owl, the male whines for a second then he yells when (Y/N) hugged him close.

They press small kisses against his cheek then kiss him on the nose before pulling the male into their arms. “I’d never hurt my precious Owl boy…just smother him with kisses.” Silence. “(Y/N)….”

Eli’s screams filled the halls, later on all three male’s were found, painted with lip gloss while Orpheus chuckles. “Guess you could say the fan has a good taste- don’t look at me like that.” They all glared at Orpheus.

Okay if you can handle 07 cg animation and female character design. and the weird intro narration. ITS A BOP

I mean okay i dont even think its bad animation, just a little funky looking. but i love it. and has a very nice "spooky turtles fading into shadows with glowing eyes" effect. but yeah freaky stick arm ladies. rip. well theres only 3 of them anyway... ksdfbgs -> turtles difficulties.

the animated sets are gorgeous. like. lush environments for running around in. atmospheric lightin. DOING. the fucking most. with their water effects rendering of the time.

love a movie with. three intros. not really. but theres classic "hey look turtles, theyre mutants! and ninja!". theres hey this ancient evil thing needs a set up. and then theres. leos been hanging in... central america for 2 years. and thats. well. theres training reasons for it, but really theres angst reasons for it.

and yes. this is angst turtles narrative babeyyyyy. god help me but that was good ass leo raph fighting. the movies are gonna movie. and it is secondary mikey donnie. turtle movie constant :/. BUT. ITS GOOD. is the thing. leos been gone, and thinks he failed his training. in his absence don and mike moved to. more civilian occupations (aka IT support and kids birthdays lol). so raphs is doing a lone vigilante thing. motorbike and all.

Lemme try not to. Just repeat every narrative beat in this thread of the movie but. Just like, doing the vibe of anyone whose been away from family/friends for a while. Trying to mesh back in. Miscalculation due to things you've missed. And on top of that, trying to be the leader, with the insecurity of his perceived failure. And Raph who resents the idea they needed Leo, and hurt by his absense. And hiding his solo actions from everyone.

And well. When the words fail sometimes you want to see the characters have an emotional fraught duel!! And this fucking delivers. Maximal... catharsis i suppose.

The rest of the plot vibes well enough with keeping the emotional core of getting this family working together again. Capture monsters quests. Teases for future movies that never happened. But! It's fun! It is fun. It doing GREAT. On the funny and crying alignment chart for turtles media. Sweet boys, good dad splinter moments (even if not always good teacher, such is the way). Oh, and movie turtles that can USE THEIR WEAPONS. In fights. Like. On their opponents. Like. Just a pretty strong movie over all.

The only other thing to say about this is. great trivia to learn/s. Got fucked up by some studio stuff. INCLUDING. The weinstein company.... Which lead to recasting some of the rolls with celebrities. which is probably why the turtles are all veterans of VO work but then like. April, Casey and another character are all. BIG FAMOUS ACTORS. Cant have shit in animation. that been true and remains true huh.

Binge watched Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts Season 2 today and y’all it was sooooo good!!

MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD

First of all... Scarlemagne = Mojo-jojo but with actual redemption arc potential???

They really set homie up as the biggest bad and then the twist mystery that Lio and Scarlemagne are connected at the end of S1... but then every much like The Storm from ATLA, we just DEEP-DIVED into Scarlemagne aka HUGO’s backstory and you’re like “well shit, no fucking wonder he got so damn twisted and hating on humans”

And yknow what even with his convoluted thinking and the terrible things he’s done, I’m really really glad they didn’t go down the whole “I blame Kipo bc I’m jealous she took Lio and Song’s attention away from me and that’s why they left me behind” story line... it’s absolutely fascinating that at no point does Scarlemagne blame Kipo, and even looks at her as a sister... like his line “you’re not the one who rejected me” was so powerful, bc he recognises she was just an innocent baby and sees the same confused child in her that he was when he was left alone on the surface... and twisted though his attempts of making her happy were, he was really reaching out for someone who genuinely cares about him again, and it helps that she’s also the daughter of the two people he once viewed as parental figures... and also Kipo’s just naturally empathetic and sees the good in people...

Then she was willing to sacrifice her humanity for a stadium full of mutes and Lio pulled him out of danger... so I’m reaaaallly hoping they keep this potential redemption going... bc really Hugo and Kipo are perfect mirrors of each other... very Zuko/Aang reminiscent... Hugo the animal experiment that was given human hopes and dreams and abilities, only to be thrust into a confusing and scary place with strange powers, and seemingly betrayed by the people he loves most... Kipo, the human experiment, with typical hopes and dreams but is forced into a confusing and scary place with strange powers, and finds out her whole birth and life has been a lie...

One of them just came out of it better...

Secondly... Kipo’s inner Mega-Jaguar scene = Naruto and the Nine-Tails Fox???

Like slowly learning to control the little bits of power that sneak through... being able to change between forms at will provided there is something anchoring her human half... that whole water/mirror/internal Jaguar sequence?!?!... USING THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP TO GET A GRIP ON HER HUMANITY?!?!

ACCESSING AN EVOLVED FORM OF HERSELF WHISLT THINKING OF THE PEOPLE SHE WANTED TO SAVE?!?!

Yo if that ain’t Naruto idk what is...

Next we have Mom the Monkey...

Wasn’t too hard of a leap to figure out... I probably clocked into it maybe mid ep 1?? Idk what triggered it but yeah don’t think that was meant to be a difficult leap to make... that aside, I like that they didn’t have Song immediately change back or have her wits about her when Mulholland helped free her from the pheromones... she’s been a monkey for 13 years, under the control of Dr Emilia, she hasn’t spoken and she didn’t have little moments to control her powers like Kipo... so figuring out how to change her back is a good ongoing mission to have I think... it also makes the fact that Kipo was the one to get through to her in the first place even more powerful and that’s SO dope...

Lio... yknow what when grown ups in these types of stories have regrets and the children are dealing with their consequences it can be very frustrating... but I like that Lio is more than willing to reflect on his past mistakes (valid tho it was that he had no choice but to grab Kipo and run before Emilia could get to her) and is also willing to ACT ON IT...he gives Kipo’s ideas a chance and its even shown for real when Scarlemagne forced him to tell the truth... Hugo was a child he raised and he doesn’t want to leave him behind anymore... even if he’s done so much bad... I’m also glad they showed Kipo expressing disappointment in her fathers actions, empathy for Hugo’s pain, but that didn’t mean she was suddenly disillusioned to her father and what kind of person he is... that can also be a very frustrating aspect of these types of plot lines...

Benson and his darling potentially mutual crush, Troy? What else can i say but beautiful first awkward teen crush PERFECTION! Both of them blushing when Benson ended up on top of Troy after tackling Troy out of the way of a rampaging Pierre? Troy kissing him on the cheek? Troy helping Benson out of the pit and the same falling in love music playing while Benson gazed up at Troy?? TROY AND BENSON HOLDING HANDS WHILE SCARED AND CLINGING TO EACH OTHER?!?!?

TROY BEING AT LEAST PARTIALLY (Latino? Hispanic?) MEANING EVEN MORE POC CHARACTERS AS MAINS LIKE HECK YEAH!!!

Sidenote: a good chunk of the music is like... “rap” music and they always hit during fight scenes and it’s great...

sonic has a Lot of love to give. i mean, sonic lives based on what motivates HIM and what makes HIM passionate and what HE wants, if he doesn’t want to do something he won’t do it generally, and he still goes out fo his way to help people? making people happy and protecting people is part of what sonic wants to do, not some sort of.. societal obligation, i guess? sonic dislikes certain compromises, but the compromise to be his world’s hero is just. compulsory? it’s part of who he is!! he can and will sacrifice himself for someone he met five seconds ago and WILL spend all day with you after you cry for three hours, even if you’re a stranger he just happenned to find while running around and i love him!!!!!!

despite all this love he has for people though, sonic is a guarded and private person, and naturally has a hard time getting a lot fo things he’s feeling out verbally. he has a really hard time saying ‘i love you’ because that’s A Lot! he mostly communicates all this through unspoken gestures and the like

platonically speaking, sonic is mostly about leaning his elbow on someone’s shoulder, ruffling their hair, pushing them around, and stuff like that. v playful kinda stuff, once you get past the Apprehension, anyway. since tails is the one he’s entirely comfortable with, he’s fine with tails leaning on him while hes reading, or if he falls asleep on him. sonic has ALSO used tails’ tails as pillows before i do not take constructive criticism. 

romantically speaking, sonic. needs. a second. more. to get used to it GVFDCFVGBH. in a hypothetical where he’s dating someone, he takes.. a bit to get to stuff like kissing, and early on he needs to be told before hand so he can gather his bearings for it. once you’re past that, he likes to just. fiddle with his partner’s hands or hair. he fidgets sometimes (foot tapping, for ex) so sonic unconscniously gravitates towards playing with someone’s hand or brushes their hair. just lil things and lil reassurances. he finds contact comforting once u Get There

sonic likes doing a whole array of stuff because live life to the fullest babeyyyyy. he’s done most of the activities he’s done in crossover and party games (except for swimming lmao). he’s ridden a horse, has ice skated, etc etc. he likes trying out new things whenever he can for the fun of it. 

smth he tried out in particular during the adventure days was music! he found a rock band he became friends with and did publicity for them, and they taught him how to play and gave him a guitar as thanks. to No One’s surprise he also likes breakdancing

stars!!!! when he was younger he used to think they were alive and listening to him when he talked to them, so when he had no one after his parents’ deaths they were kinda his only company. idea of being able to run somewhere so big and wide and open and unrestricted like the sky. also the ‘light in the darkness’ aspect, the ‘reach for the stars’ = reach for new things and new heights kinda thing. stars = hope and aspirations! the possibilities!!! are never ending!!!!!!!!!!! also just see reach for the stars from colors

9. How energetic are they?

Amygdala: Amygdala is fairly laid back all things considered. She manages her energy well and coasts at about the same level all day.

Mr. Sir: Super energetic but Nefeli runs hot as well so they feed off each other. It’s his insanely high energy that keeps her going through rough spots but when he crashes he crashes hard.

Deimos: Laid back, suave, completely chill. Rowdy but isn’t crazy high energy and knows when to let things rest for everyone’s sakes. Him and Phobos feed off each other energy wise but Deimos is more lowkey.

Phobos: Phobos, the younger of the brothers, will simply exhaust Deimos to win every argument. Phobos is super high energy and rowdy and always keeps people on their toes. Phobos will bat his pretty eyelashes to wiggle into laps.
