do you think rose, in the moment she was the bad wolf and knew it all, even to the point where she would lose her doctor and there was nothing she could do to stop it, that he would be alone so long and so many times after her—do you think that in the course of scattering her breadcrumb trail to herself that she reached forward as well? did she find the doctor’s darkest moments and leave a hint of herself where he might see her? if she cannot save him forever, then she can at least say ‘i was here, i see you, you will be safe again one day if by your own hand instead of mine’? condemned never to intervene, like all absent gods, but sometimes all you pray for is a sign to keep going and she can give the doctor that.

if s1 of torchwood means anything, then she did for Jack. graffiti on the streets, the only way to promise she didn’t forget him, she loves him still, she will love him back to life for the rest of time. so who’s to say the doctor doesn’t get messages, too, when he needs them?

about the Martha x rose ship and someone saying that its wrong to put Martha in a ship with someone who was part of her feeling awful about herself all the time:

I see it the opposite way

That was the Doctor's fault, not Rose's. People keep blaming Rose, but it wasn't her who said and did those things. It was him.

Rose when she met Martha first thing she did was compliment her 'Ooh shes good' And we know Rose, yes she has flaws and shes not always on her best behavior she isnt perfect like the Doctor claims, but overall she is a good person and she is loving and caring and would show Martha so much appreciation respect and love and would protect her even from Martha herself. Since Martha was always thinking badly about herself and finding reasons to hate on herself/think she wasn't good enough. Rose would argue with her about that and stand up for Martha TO Martha herself.

And I think its really delicious when the tables turn like that. So Rose is the person who always made Martha feel like she was less than/not good enough/worthless/useless and then Rose and Martha start hanging out and become really close and Rose shows her so much love and appreciation and makes up for all the stuff the Doctor did without even trying by just being Rose about it.

Thats one of the things I love about Martha x Rose ship is Rose [who made her feel like she didn't matter without intending to again it was the Doctor's fault] Rose is the same one who reminds Martha why she is so special. She supports her and thinks the world of her. Like the Doctor doesn't appreciate her *but* Rose does and I think that would heal one thing at least in Martha from her horrible time with the doctor.

There is something really beautiful about the Doctor being the one to break her, but Rose is the one who puts her back together or rather Martha puts herself back together [like she did] and Rose backs her up and cheers her on while she does it.
