Lee Heeseung was the youngest son of Lee Guwon and Kim Shinhye, the founders and owners of the largest hotel line in the country. They just recently went international, opening yet another hotel-restaurant in the heart of Singapore. His older sister, Lee Rina, had no interest in the company, firmly convinced that it's a greedy industry. She moved to Norway to study and just never came back. But his older brother, Lee Haejun, was different. He was stuck on the idea of becoming the next CEO. After both him and Heeseung were old enough to understand what benefits came with being a leader of a major hotel line, they stopped treating each other like brothers, instead focusing on the rivalry that was brewing. They wanted so badly to prove to their father who's more competent, who deserves it more, that at one point it became too much.

Heeseung at one point no longer wanted any of it. He just wanted his brother back. Haejun just never was the same brother Heeseung learned to love. He didn't care, he wasn't kind. Heeseung felt like he lost both of his siblings although they weren't actually gone.

“I don’t think they mentioned you” you murmured, trying to recall the conversations you had with Wonyoung and Niki.

“Wonyoung and Niki? Probably because they don't like me” he laughed, and put out his blunt on the tiles of the balcony, throwing what was left into a jar filled with water.

“They like everyone, I think it’s a ‘you’ problem” you assumed, and he scoffed.

His body sluggishly stood up from the chair, as he tried not to fall over the balcony “Both of them are fake as fuck, and I don’t think you’re one to judge”

You sighed “You don’t know them”

“I know them better than you, transfer” he chuckled, “They always cuddle up to new students, just like Wonyoung did to Jake, and whenever they go slightly out of line, they drop them” he explained, and you foolishly didn't believe his words, choosing to stand with your new friends who you in reality, knew nothing about.

“I don’t know, I don't think the Jake that I just met, and got forced to drink by, is a good example” you murmured, playing with your hair, avoiding eye contact with the boy.

He had this dark aura surrounding him, his hooded eyes just adding into his image, making him look much more scary.

He slowly moved towards you, accompanying you on the silk covered bed. That’s when you could truly analyze his face; bloodshot, brown eyes, a curve to his lips, his nose slightly pointed and eyebrows straight. His skin was glistening, a soft tan to it. He looked at you so intensely, and you couldn't quite reciprocate, scared of his intimidating presence.

“Jake was always like this, they just didn't know how to handle him” he smiled, his hand inching closer to where your legs lied “They love saying that Jay ruined him, but he didn't even have to do that”

Seungmin x reader x Hyunjin. (s,a)

Synopsis: As a part of a research team that works on a memory-erasing machine, you work alongside the professor whom you greatly admire and a computer geek who relentlessly flirts with you. But the one that you want is the one that you can't have.

Noticing that the meeting has come to a final decision, you stop talking and fix your sitting position. You watch as the board members take votes on whether Seungmin can continue with the test or not and all hands are raised in favor of Seungmin.

"With all members approving the selected test subject, Professor Seungmin is allowed to continue with the procedure that will be held on the agreed upon time and place," the board leader announces.

Even in his triumphant moment, Seungmin remains calm and still, you can't remember the last time he smiled, even out of courtesy. Ha he always been like this? Honestly, you can’t remember.

"The board members will watch closely the process, before and after the test. We also demand follow-ups and thorough datas on every detail of the test," they warn once again even though it's not the first time Seungmin has run the test.

Everyone scatters around once the meeting has finished, you wait outside of the meeting room knowing that Seungmin will likely stay to chat with the other professors. Rina is still here as well, holding her tablet close to her chest and not-so-subtly staring at Hyunjin

"You should ask her out," you mutter at Hyunjin, subtly hinting the subject of the talk with your eyes.

Hyunjin doesn't even look up from his phone when he flat-out rejects the idea, "No, thank you."

"Why not? She's pretty and she's your age," you point out all of the obvious facts why he should be seducing her, not you who's a couple of years older than him and not having a shiny, healthy hair.

Hyunjin lets out a scoff, then shoves his phone into the pocket of his hoodie, "You're prettier and older," he says with a sly smile plastered on his face.

Whether he tries to compliment you or try to offend you, you feel like you need to check if there's something wrong with him. You poke his side with your pen and he yelps in pain.

"What's wrong with you?" He sharply gasps.

"You are what's wrong," you answer, poking him on the other side this time.

He laughs and leans against the wall facing you, slightly slouching so he can be on the same eye level with you. "Dating older women is hot, you know," he coyly remarks.

You give him a repulsed glare at his words, shaking your head as you look away from him.

"And you're hot so dating you would be ticking two boxes at once," he adds with his sly smile growing wider on his angular face.

Besides your actual job, you have to deal with this 5'10" man bursting with youthful charm and testosterone, you wouldn't complain if you get double paychecks for it. You aim his stomach next and poke him with your pen again, hoping a little violence would put some sense into his small head.

"One more test, huh?" Professor Hale says, patting Seungmin's shoulder as they walk out of the meeting room.

It feels like your body is accustomed to getting on your perfect posture whenever Seungmin walks into your radar, you stop moving altogether and stand up straighter.

"I'll see everyone on Friday!" Professor Hale says one last time, he also smiles at you and Hyunjin before turning to leave.

Now that the team has earned the green light, everyone is going to get busier to prepare everything. Seungmin lists the things he wants you to do as he walks back to C building and you jot down everything on your notebook. He stops by the main lab and gets Hyunjin on the job, ordering him to run a diagnostic test on the MNE-Machine, checking for any issues.

It's one of those times when you can see how passionate Seungmin is about his work.

He's the reason why you applied for the job, not only because you can work directly with him but also because you admire him, his brilliance, his work ethic, and most of all, him as a person.

There are so many things you learned from working for him for the last three years and your admiration toward him only grows bigger with time. And out of that admiration, something else grows, something that makes you excited to go to work, makes you happy at the sight of him and wanting to always be close to him.

Sensing that someone is watching him, Seungmin turns around to find you still standing there, "Don't you have things to do?"

You gulp air before asking, "Uhm.. Professor?"

He starts walking with his hands shoved inside his lab coat pockets, "Yes?"

You half jog to keep up with his wide strides, "Professor Hale said one more test and I thought we're only on our fourth test?"

You wait for his answer while quietly admiring his wide shoulders from the back while struggling to keep up with his fast walks.

All of a sudden, he turns on his feet and then he looks at you, the eye contact doesn't last longer than a second until he looks away, "Notify the test subject first and make sure they make the time for the interview tomorrow!" He orders instead of answering your question.

"Will do, Professor," you respond.

You manage to finish a few things before it's time to go home, the rest on the to-do list are meant to be done tomorrow though. As you're about to get your coat, Seungmin walks out of his office and swings his briefcase on his side.

"I'll see you tomorrow," he says without looking at you.

"Have a great—" You don't even get to finish your sentence as he disappears into the elevator.

Only a dozen people are working in the C building and there are only five people working directly with Seungmin. Professor Lee who worked together on MNE-Machine with Seungmin is being called to give lectures out of the country and taking his assistant with him, so that leaves you and Hyunjin. The rest of the employees are working maintenance on the lower level of the building, you only meet them when you either enter or leave the building.

"Are you sure you don't want to grab drinks with me?" Hyunjin asks, unlocking his car but not getting in yet.

You toss your bag onto the passenger's seat before getting inside your car. It's actually tempting to say yes, you could use it to blow some steam off to prepare you for the busy days ahead.

But you don't want to give Hyunjin the satisfaction. No, not yet.

"No," you answer with a playful smile.

Hyunjin tosses his backpack inside and comes up to your car, he bends down to look at you through your rolled-down window.

"Come on. It'll be fun," he persuades with a smile that is mischievous and seductive at once. You bet this is how he puts anyone under his spell.

You turn your head at him and smile, "You know what would be fun?"

He tips his head to the side and asks, "What?"

"Me running you over with my car," you jokingly say as you turn on the car engine.

“Ooo… feisty,” Hyunjin hisses then slowly, he steps away from your car.

That's how most of your days usually went, dealing with two men who are the opposite of each other. One gives you not enough attention and the other gives you way too much. One is cold and nonchalant, the other one is warm and attentive.

Sadly, the one that you want is the one that you can't have.

For some reason, I feel like the Mack and Gina "romance" regardless of how real or not it may be, was thrown in because Tim is obsessed with using a love triangle as conflict for his biggest ships (even Seblos in the last few minutes of season 3 had to deal with cheating allegations) and since EJ didn't get a job at the school, he wanted to continue it by adding new characters just to orchestrate problems for Rina. They already had secret dating drama too so I don't get why he had to make a whole new ship for people to discredit Rina for.

I know it looks that way, anon, but something about this is different. From previews it looks like a triangle, but I actually think it will be more about testing Ricky’s ability to trust Gina and overcome his insecurities. This is bigger than some other guy, because I believe it’s about Ricky recognizing that no matter the bad things that happen in life, when a good thing comes around it won’t change. He’s learned how to embrace change, but now he needs to learn that the right things will stay (I hope I’m making sense).

I think Mack is more of a plot device than anything for Ricky. And while Gina looks at Mack like Gabriella does Rocketman from HSM3, Ricky will see him as a threat to the relationship/Gina leaving (which again, will have a lot more to do with Ricky’s insecurities than Gina actually falling for Mack). He’s Gina’s age, how will he know she will stick around when he’s off to college? How will he trust that they will last once he leaves? His first relationship crumbled after Nini only left for two weeks. So this plot will be a direct parallel to the challenge between Nini and him season one (her leaving him after 2 weeks), but this time he’s reassured Gina will stay. They will communicate their fears and provide comfort and hope for each other and their relationship. I also firmly believe we’ll get a parallel of the “Oh? Oh.” Scene from R*ni s1, but this time it’s the “oh’s” before they both say I love you to each other.

This is Ricky’s second chance at a relationship and he’s doing it right, because Gina isn’t the only one who doesn’t do things right the first time.

Not to mention Sofia and Josh heavily hinted at us getting a repeat of this scene in their tik toks.

So I’m uh…very late to the party with these bc I was really trying to sit out whatever bug is going on for me but I saw this the day it came out and was like WHAT????

I did NOT expect the previews to be released so early,but tbh I’m not complaining I was wondering when they were coming out :0c anyways,these were my initial impressions hearing the one in this video and the SIF 2 previews ⬇️⬇️

Ayumu - “Walking Dream” : Not gonna lie,this is not the song I expected to hear from this detective outfit but it’s really good - I like the bells and light waltz-y feel of the instrumentals,it’s not my FAVORITE Ayumu solo but it’s still nice plus it’s just the preview so idk I might change my mind when the full comes out

Kasumi - “Senobi Shittate” : You know what? This is a totally different sound for Kasumin,but I like it quite a bit - Not really my style personally,but the instrumental is really pretty and it shows a more mature Kasumi which is nice (and yes,I’m semi counting this as her black swan era too because of the instrumentals alone)

Shizuku - “Koakuma LOVE ♡” : My immediate thoughts are…HUH???? Like,I had a feeling that her solo may be cutesier due to her outfit choices but like…not like this and I love it so much,it may be one of my favorites so far :0c (but then again,imo Shizuku’s solos are always at least decent so it’s not that big of a surprise ig dndjdj - also everyone saying she swapped song styles with Kasumi is RIGHT omg)

Karin - “My Shadow” : If you look up “Karin Asaka” and put “having a bad song” next to it,you will find NOTHING because FINALLY!!!! KARIN GOT HER JAZZ SOLO!!!!! ���ok it’s not exactly jazz more like electro swing but you know what? I will take it,this song is SO good - this one might be up there when it comes to my favorites too bc wow,I hope they keep doing this sort of song in LL

Ai - “Request for U” : Ok,so I was right about Ai getting a more mellow song than usual and honestly?? It works really well for her,it’s still somewhat upbeat and very Ai-y but like Kasumi’s,it shows a different side to her that I like a lot :] it’s rlly cute

Kanata - “Cooking with Love” : WOWOWOW my mind is blown with this one…this might be my favorite out of the album so far and my favorite Kanata solo like it sounds like a magical girl anime ending and I am so about it,we knew with that jirai kei outfit that she was gonna cook and cook she DID,this girl made a whole sweets buffet and I will eat every bite

Setsuna - “Cherry Bomb” : So the words on her merch WERE the title of her song,and boy is this song good too like…these songs were worth the wait - Hayamaru’s voice is fantastic,it’s distinctly different but still very Setsuna sounding,I love the sort of harder rock sound in this song :0c I’m one of the few that’s very 50/50 on Setsuna’s solos but this one is really good,they really cranked up the shounen anime opening vibes for her and I like it a lot

Emma - “Koisuru Sunflower” : This album continues to be full of surprises,I was expecting a slower song due to the outfit but am pleasantly surprised with this mid-tempo calypso-y song - Emma’s songs always have this sort of warm comfy sound,I feel like I’m relaxing on the beach with a fun drink listening to it idk what it is

Rina - “Watashi wa Magnet” : …huh this song is a lot slower than I expected it to be with the outfit,but I think it’s funny that Rina has gotten two love songs consistently although this one is more upbeat and bubbly compared to the more bittersweet somber sound of First Love Again,but it’s not really my style like it’s not terrible it’s just not a song I think I’ll listen to often ykwim

Shioriko - “Koufukuron” : Ok…this is absolutely not how I expected this to sound,like her outfit names were things like “Undead Celebrity” and “Royal Skeleton” - I fully expected this song to be kind of spooky sounding but no…ily Shio but this preview does NOT do the song justice,it just seems so flat in comparison to her other songs I’m kinda disappointed :/

Mia - “Lemonade” : The song is very cute,it gives me very 2009 Hannah Montana but like a good b-side - There’s other Mia solos I like more,but this one is alright and also some of the lyrics are a little…silly but it’s easier to brush past this time (looking at you Toy Doll)

Lanzhu - “5201314 / I Love You for A Lifetime” : And the most unique song title in Love Live goes to…Zhong Lanzhu! But seriously,Lanzhu really does not miss,this song is so good :0c I like that she speaks a little more Mandarin in this song,and even the general vibe of the song reflects that too. It still has her sound,but has elements to it that are new - She truly never makes a bad song

Digimon Top Tamer Tournament- Video Game/Manga Bracket

Yesterday we unveiled the brackets for the anime side of our Top Tamer Tournament. Today we’re giving you a preview of the Video Game and Manga tournament. Remarkable that there were almost as many entries, but between C’Mon Digimon and Seekers, there are 64 more humans vying for supremacy. They do have to be human: sorry Kyoko. Following the poll earlier this week, first round matchups are primarily within each story. Regions are themed… some more rigidly than others. Let’s take the tour!

The Hidden Server is our manga-exclusive region, as C’Mon Digimon, V-Tamer, Next, Xros Wars, and Dreamers square off. In the first round, we’ve got matches between Neo and the Alias III while Bun’s tamer Kentarou meets Nene’s manga-exclusive sister Kotone. Since we don’t know exactly what we’ll get with Seekers, its two reps are split between here and a game-based region. Eiji and Loogamon meet Kouta from Chronicle… that was the last time we were promised a big story tie-in to a toy product. Anyone remember Chronicle?

The GIGO Server is for the World games, so a lot of Re:Digitize and Next Order here, along with the protagonists from the Playstation games. Mameo’s appearance in Next Order adds some familiarity to his first round match with Kouta, while Akira and Atsushi (aka Junior) have their hands full with the Next Order heroes and Rina. Re:Arise and Survive matches are sprinkled across these three regions, and GIGO pits Survive’s Team Mom against its Team Dad and our first of several matches between siblings.

The City Server is one of the two regions based on Story games, so it’s a lot of Cyber Sleuth, although Mirei can’t help but cross over, this time meddling with Re:Arise’s Digital World orphan Mon. Highlights here include Erika and Yu from Hackers Memory vying for Keisuke’s attention, Yuuko and Fei in a lover’s spat, a proper Hudie battle, and Michi from Re:Arise living out every service worker’s dream in getting to fight her boss.

The EDEN Server is the other Story-based region, leading off with a tag team match between the generic protagonists of Cyber Sleuth and the generic protagonists of Lost Evolution. Winner plays the senpai-kohai Re:Arise match, the closest thing this March Madness ripoff will get to actual basketball content. There’s also a hacker fight between Cyber Sleuth and Seekers, a battle of Survive’s siblings, and Nokia vs. Date, who are apparently cousins according to Habu.

Hidden Server and EDEN Server polls start Thursday with GIGO Server and City Server starting Friday. Polls will run for a week on both Tumblr and Twitter, with votes combined. The next round starts a day later. Also make sure to check out the Anime Tournament running concurrently!

If anyone’s interested in the fine print on the selection process and how we got it down to 64, I’ll be happy to post it, but most questions for this bracket can probably be fielded with “actual humans only.”

The new NikoBran story will have a mystery vibe but also a fix it vibe I feel Rina lost a golden opportunity in making Bran a Heathen and while I know Bran would never betray Lan I would've love to see what would have happened if Bran did join the Heathens as well as make the Heathens more violent I'm sorry but the way Rina dumb them down and made them weak was pet peeve of mine so I'm turning them into the deadly men I know they could be

While translating Ivy's chapter 4, I was talking a lot to myself lol So I want to get at least one of the things out of my system.

This frigging idol bumped into Rina, not the other way around, and than she just bad-mouthed her. Luckily, Ivy swooped in and roasted her with the nicest smile ever. Like yes bitch, you deserve that for trash-talking poor, hard-working Rina. And then he brought her in a VIP room so that she could calm down. Good man.

But seriously, I'm still convinced he's possessive or something like that. Maybe I'm reading too much into that because of me simping so much for Ellis but he just has these vibes, you know?
