hello! im not sure if you use this account anymore, but how did you manage to creat an account on emoji bank? i cant figure it out at all

during the last 6mos i've recieved several inquires from people regarding registation issues and i tried to help but have never recieved a response back from emojibank. you can find my responses to those inquiries here and here. i personally don't think anyone is managing the site anymore and it's probably gonna go offline. it's all just a matter of time

Registration is open for VidUKon 2025

Registration is now open for VidUKon 2025! Join us 30 May to 1 June for vidshows, panels and socialising.

More details over the next few days, but tldr: in-person attendance this year is £50, (£56 with add-ons); virtual attendance is £20 (£26 with add-ons). (See more details about add-ons here.)

If you’ve attended in the past, you might have noticed that virtual attendance (website and Discord) costs about the same as last year while in-person attendance is significantly less expensive. This is because we will not have catering at the in-person con in 2025 as our new location in Bristol is near a lot of food options.

Sponsorship tier

You may have spotted there's a new tier to sponsor an additional attendee. The purpose of this tier is twofold: contributing to our scholarship fund or sponsoring a friend.

VidUKon has a small pot built up, so a couple of fee waivers are possible for those who would like to attend the con but who are unable to afford the membership cost. If you'd like to contribute to this fund, you can do so through this tier. If you'd like to attend the con but are unable to afford the membership cost, please get in touch with us at vidukon@gmail.com to find out more about this. (You do not need to disclose anything about your personal circumstances in order to qualify).

Equally, if folks would like to pay registration for friends, they can do so using this tier. Just flag it to the con email so that we can double-check details and register the extra attendees.

Electronic travel authorisation

Lastly, please be aware that attendees travelling into the UK (who are not British or Irish citizens) will need to apply for electronic travel authorisation beforehand. This is a new requirement and applies to travellers who likely did not need any prior authorisation to enter the UK before 2025. If you needed a visa for previous visits, you likely still do.

ताज महोत्सव-2025 हेतु कलाकारों का चयन, 04-05 जनवरी को होटल ग्राण्ड, आगरा में

ताज महोत्सव-2025 के आयोजन हेतु स्थानीय कलाकारों, उदघोषकों और अन्य प्रतिभाओं के चयन की प्रक्रिया 04 और 05 जनवरी 2025 को आगरा के होटल ग्राण्ड, आगरा कैन्ट में आयोजित की जाएगी। यह चयन प्रक्रिया प्रातः 10 बजे से लेकर सायं 5 बजे तक होगी। ताज महोत्सव समिति के सचिव ने जानकारी दी कि इस चयन परीक्षा में सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम, गायन, नृत्य, गजल, मिमिक्री आदि विभिन्न विधाओं में स्थानीय कलाकारों को अपनी प्रतिभा दिखाने का अवसर मिलेगा। इच्छुक कलाकारों को अपनी प्रस्तुत विधा के बारे में जानकारी के साथ प्रार्थना पत्र देना होगा, जिसमें नाम, पता और मोबाइल नंबर जैसी जानकारी भी शामिल करनी होगी। सभी इच्छुक प्रतिभागियों को कार्यक्रम से पूर्व रजिस्ट्रेशन कराना अनिवार्य होगा। रजिस्ट्रेशन के लिए प्रतिभागियों को ताज महोत्सव समिति के सचिव को सम्बोधित प्रार्थना पत्र प्रस्तुत करना होगा। इस चयन प्रक्रिया के संबंध में अधिक जानकारी के लिए उत्तर प्रदेश पर्यटन कार्यालय, 64 ताज रोड, आगरा पर किसी भी कार्य दिवस में सम्पर्क किया जा सकता है। ताज महोत्सव-2025 की तैयारियों के मद्देनज़र यह चयन परीक्षा आयोजन में कला और संस्कृति के क्षेत्र में उत्कृष्टता को पहचानने का एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है। Read the full article

Who can apply for a BIS certification?

Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification is available to various entities, including:

Manufacturers: Both Indian and foreign manufacturers can apply for BIS certification for products that require mandatory certification or if they voluntarily wish to certify their products for the Indian market.

Importers: Importers can apply for BIS certification if they are importing products into India that require mandatory BIS certification.

Traders: Traders who wish to sell products that fall under the mandatory certification scheme must ensure that the products they trade are BIS certified.

Exporters: Exporters intending to sell products in India may apply for BIS certification to meet Indian regulatory requirements.

Foreign Entities: Foreign manufacturers can directly apply for BIS certification or through an Authorized Indian Representative (AIR) if they want to sell their products in India.

The application process involves submitting necessary documents, undergoing testing and inspection, and complying with the relevant Indian Standards.

How to Register as a VOCALOID User on the Internet Co, Ltd. Website

Alongside GUMI's new VOCALOID6 voicebank, AI Megpoid, Internet Co. released a plugin to replicate VOCALOID4's XSY feature. This plugin is called XSyn and essentially behaves the same way as XSY. However, to download XSyn, you need to register yourself as a user on Internet Co.'s website. I was super excited about XSyn, but I had no idea how to register...until yesterday. I cracked the code yesterday, and I want to spread the word about how I did it.

Here are the steps I took:

Make sure you're on the Japanese Internet Co. website. They have a global website, but you can only access features like XSyn on the Japanese website.

Go to the "Inquiries about user registration" tab under "Inquiries". Within the page, click on the link "How to Register as a User of VOCALOID products." This will prompt you to select either VOCALOID3 or VOCALOID4. If you want to register a VOCALOID3 or VOCALOID4 product, click on the appropriate one. If you're going to register a VOCALOID6 product instead, it doesn't really matter which one you pick, so just choose one.

Once you're at the product registration page, if you want to register a VOCALOID6 product, you're going to alter the link. There will be either a 3 or a 4 in the URL depending on which prompt you followed. Change that number to a 6, then hit enter. This will take you to an unlisted VOCALOID6 registration page.

Make sure you were given an Internet Product Number when you purchased the product you intend to register. The serial code you used to activate it won't work. You need the product number unique to Internet Co., Ltd. If you don't have an Internet Product Number, you aren't getting any further than this.

Once you enter your product number, you'll be taken to a user registration page. Here, you can create an account on the Japanese Internet Co, Ltd. website. (Make sure you select "living abroad" if you don't live in Japan. This will change the information entry portion so you don't have to list a zip code, prefecture, etc.) Once you fill out all the required information, congratulations. You have an account. You can now log in at any time, and on your user page, you can access whatever plugins and other unique features are exclusive to registered users.
