- primo is one of the most kind and caring people to exist in the world. he’s very intelligent as well- he has a mind suited for many jobs. sometimes he wonders what he would’ve done if he didn’t follow in his father’s footsteps.

- he’s a great writer in all regards- poetry, essays, speeches, all of it. he did exceptionally in school and was very humble.

-primo is great at conflict resolution. he’s direct and efficient but considerate of people’s feelings as well.

-generally pretty healthy mentally but has struggled with depression periodically throughout his life.

-i don’t think primo ever planned to be a father, he didn’t even think it was possible considering his responsibilities. but as he got older and reflected upon his life he regrets that he never had children.

- we all know about primo’s legendary garden, but his next project he’s dreaming of is an orphanage in the clergy. or just to overall encourage more inclusion of children :,) (when appropriate ofc haha)

- a hopeless romantic deep down.

-virgo/libra.

secondo

-secondo is a great artist. he likes painting landscapes and scenery. hes also really good at drawing buildings/ architecture. when he was younger he thought maybe he’d be an architect. some of his paintings are hanging around the clergy but nobody knows they’re his.

- good at math but doesn’t enjoy it persay.

- reads a lot of classic novels (and romance books lol) if he’s reading something trashy in public he’ll switch the cover so he isn’t judged and can maintain his reputation ☠️

-i think he’s struggled with depression throughout his life that’s beyond situational. even when he was at his peak, something chemically in his brain just wouldn’t let him fully soak it in.

-extroverted but very distant simultaneously. has a hard time getting vulnerable with people.

-smokes a lot of weed. i think all the papas do tbh

terzo

- terzo has adhd for sure lmao. he was never diagnosed though.

- he was the walking stereotype for ADHD as a kid: a rambunctious and high-energy boy who struggled in class.

-terzo is very intelligent, though. he just never cared about school too much. he was good at talking his way out of trouble.

-terzo is incredible sensitive to rejection. so much so that he would have a very very hard time confessing his romantic feelings towards someone. (feelings that move beyond sexual attraction)

- his hypersexuality, though he genuinely just loves sex, is often a subconscious quest for dopamine and validation.

- he has a very kind heart, goes out of his way to make people laugh if he sees they’re struggling.

- loooooooooooves to watch reality tv or anything full of drama.

-either a scorpio or a gemini.

-very active online. he’s a little obsessed with reading fan forums and posts. but he also just loves the internet in general

-i think he was the most interactive with fans, he would respond to fan mail most frequently. when he got horny mail from someone he would often respond with equally something equally risqué ☠️but of course when the subject matter was serious or heartfelt he would respond genuinely.

copia

- copia drew comics when he was younger and still does. over time they’ve evolved from mystical stories to simple doodles to get him through the day.

- sometimes he’s a little forgetful and mixes up his papers, so when he confidently hands his mother a comic strip she’s featured in, it’s a little awkward.

- copia loves animals, and he always has. he was afraid of dogs (specifically bigger ones) when he was younger, though. he also likes birds and can identify most species. (so can primo!)

- copia had a little bit of ocd throughout his childhood that’s lessened up over time.

-he also has generalized anxiety that’s lessened after he’s become papa which is shocking

- he has inattentive adhd. he’s an exceptional worker despite his negative symptoms because he pushes himself so hard to succeed. but sometimes he gets a little burnt out and forgets to rest, or spirals into an unmotivated state.

-we all know he’s a huge dork, so to elaborate upon that: he likes star wars, star trek, dc, and comics of all sorts.

-he has a funko pop collection in his office (including one of himself LOL)

-i think he’s a gemini and i’m so passionate about this. that or a pisces.

mys/mcd characters that age regress. in my heart.

warning this has a little angst

mys aaron: almost entirely involuntary, it comes on when he's triggered or under extreme stress. he's nonverbal and prefers quietly curling up to his care giver and sulking until they comfort and cheer him up. he can end up like that for a few hours to almost lasting a few days, and hes extremely clingy and needy and avoids eye contact. aaron likes quiet tactile play from his childhood like building legos and playing with pokemon cards. on the rare chance that aaron can talk, he will go on and on and on and on about video game lore and facts. his cg will need a stack of emergency gaming magazines for him to read up on even if theyre decades old. you will familiarize yourself with the top 50 hardest jrpg bosses by the time its bedtime

mcd dante: loves roughhousing and playing with sticks and most of all feeling protected. he needs lots and lots of reassurance and comfort. do not leave him alone. in his older years past the timeskip, he still partakes in it every now and then, especially after his daughter was born. he gets really into teacup party with nekoette while kc brings them little tiny cakes

mcd malachi: he lived 900 years as a young child of course he regresses. ever since becoming human and being able to grow up in the past 18 years has felt like his life flashing before his eyes and the existentialism and grief of it sometimes gets to him so much that levin or zoey has to coax him back into his safe zone. zoey and malachi are extremely important to each other as they're going through the same thing that everyone else with shorter life-spans just cant comprehend. but on a lighter note, malachi loves reading books and looooooooooove playing with dolls. he absolutely loves animals too and knows 100000 animal facts. levin loves to care for him just as much. although malachi is aging, levin will always be young at heart with him together.

mcd levin: mostly stuff above but heres some more: Levin needs his music box to sleeep!!! hes probably the littlest and most wholesome out of the characters i listed. loves saying mama and babytalk. zoey says her babies will always be her babies and he took that to heart

Ghost likes anything to do with food and cooking! And if he says, "Oh no, no, that's too kind!" It means he reeeeeeally likes it! His most favorite thing he's ever gotten is from someone on a mission. We were at a village, and one of the locals gave him a handmade wooden spoon. Even when he's not cooking, when we have down time, he's holding it and playing with it.

Phantom loves handmade stuff. He really likes stuff he can wear. The whole reason he has pierced ears is because someone gave him earrings and he got so excited he asked them to pierce his ears for him right then and there!

Specter is a little harder to pin down, but I've found he really likes food gifts too! He teared up when Master Dax started keeping tea in The Crypt for him because he's allergic to caf. When I learned that Pantora has signature teas, I asked Miss Chuuchi to bring me some for him. Specs hugged us both real right for that one!

Banshee loves books! If you bring him your favorite books, he'll stop whatever he's reading just to read your book. He loves when you share music with him too!

Wraith loooooooooooves flowers. Bring him flower anything and he's an excited stammering mess! We do a lot of paper crafts together too, so getting him pretty paper is a safe bet too. He makes flowers with the pretty paper hehe~

Alright, you’ve all convinced me to read Heartstopper and Red White and Royal Blue. Are there any other amazing books I’m missing out on?

Trk came out when I was 16 and I remember being dissatisfied with it back then, but I revisited it for the first time recently in audiobook format and I enjoyed the first 2/3 waaayyy more. Looking back I appreciate a lot of moments I didn’t before, but also disliked scenes I had previously really enjoyed. Have your thoughts on trk changed at all since publication? Especially looking at it after 2/3 of the dreamer trilogy.

Yes they definitely have!! I actually didn’t read TRC until the series was all out so I read TRK in pretty quick succession with the other books and loooooooooooved it. I think it was a lot more satisfying to read that way because it was such a great emotional catharsis to the experience I was having reading the books — I hadn’t spent months or years speculating on about how different storylines and character arcs could go down. I’ve reread TRK a few times since then and having spent so much time with the books I’m definitely more aware of it’s flaws but my initial positive feelings have stayed with me for the most part.

I get what you mean about your feelings changing on certain parts — on one hand, I have a way better understanding now of how Gansey’s resurrection (with Noah and Cabeswater and All That Stuff) works and I genuinely think it’s very meaningful and clever but I’m also always frustrated with how poorly it was explained in the actual story. I also remember really enjoying Piper and Laumonier and the magical artifact trade the first time I read but honestly this time I felt like there was way too big of a tonal disconnect in how Piper in particular was written that really downplayed the book’s stakes. I think she went from being a fun comedic character in BLLB to be a very ineffective, childish villain in this one. And frankly writing the way institutions and groups of people interact with magic is just not Stief’s strong suit imo — it always feels very surface level to me (and I think it sticks out to me bc I have the exact same problem with my own writing) — which made a lot of the magic artifact trade and the climax feel… frankly a little silly? I think I had the same problem with the way the Moderators are written in TDT lol

But aside from little things like that I don’t really know if the dreamer trilogy has changed my perspective! It’s such a different animal and honestly I have spent wayyyyy less time close reading those books than I have TRC (I haven’t read MI again since it initially came out) so I am excited to see if they influence my opinion at all when I get to them in this reread.

Currently Reading trickster drift. It’s the second book in the son of a trickster series and I’ve been really enjoying it. It’s my first time reading this author and I’m overjoyed to know she has more series I can check out once I’m done this. Also re: son of a trickster I like how his life is actually established and stuff so you can get to know him rather than in a lot of poorly written books where it’s like page one. I’m a normal guy. Page two: never mind! Here’s the punch line of the plot way too early! Anyways I’ve been really enjoying it

Last Series I just started cougar town! I’m enjoying it even though I only started it for the meme. And I’m almost done rewatching gravity falls. I was surprised at how much of the plot came back to me as I watched but it still holds up in adulthood.

Last Movie at this point I can’t remember. I don’t watch movies a lot. A few weekends ago I watched romy and michelle’s high school reunion. I’ve been obsessed with romy’s voice ever since. I also recently watched 500 days of summer (I’m very late to the party I know). It called me oooooout it was a good watch for an obsessive just getting over a breakup with someone they had put on a pedestal.

Sweet/Savoury/Spicy I looooooooooove savoury so much but I don’t know if I could live without sweets. Prob savoury though

ok I watched ep 5 to 7 of the book of boba fett, i feel bad but I really don't care for that character I got no emotional attachment or interest. 5 and 6 is anything but boba fett if you want to do the same as I did, 7 is a more balanced one but ends with mando😂

Episode 5 was great I think its the one I enjoyed the most, expanding more on Din's religion and having conflicting thoughts with how Jedi are because of Grogu, the whole blacksaber thing is really tropey but I LOVE the "can't wield the magic weapon bc emotional state" type of trope, like gimme this in botw2. I just looooooooooove character exploration like this ep, its slow but you can see the character grow.

I loved all Grogu scenes ofc, I'm a low key star wars fan idk everything but Luke is such a likeable character that seeing him be a teacher it was quite nice even tho deepfake cgi ai generated voice freaks me out still. I get why so many people have loved star wars for decades now!

Truly its a shame that Boba Fett wasn't fully a show about him, I love mando but these episodes would've been better in s3, hopefully they don't do this again on the ahsoka show. Also hate the comics format of "read this series then this and this issue and this short novel to get the plot" like no, stop, one show is enough.

Anyway I'm happy to get some Mandalorian content, I know joke around about dinluke😂 but I do enjoy it without any ship happening. Not that im delusional enough to think it will be canon even when luke "d!sney's 77th first gay character" skywalker is right there! I jest!! This is all a joke, all headcanons they live rent free in my head.

Do watch these episodes if you want more Mando content, I think for s3 they are gonna be taken as if you watched them so kinda a must.

hmmm. y/n is definitely more the one to do the annotating but she might be a little embarrassed to give it to him outright. but if he asks to borrow a book from her childhood bedroom or something and she forgets that she wrote all over it, rafe loooooooooooves it. he loves reading it with all of her thoughts in his head and wants to read literally every single book she’s ever annotated (especially to take with him back to school when they’re apart) which is how he ends up experiencing the fault in our stars for the first time at his big age of 22. demands to watch the movie with her right after and pretends he doesn’t cry lol. after that he gets into the annotating aspect too
