अब ATM से खाली हाथ नहीं पड़ेगा लौटना, Cash न होने पर बैंक पर लगेगा जुर्माना
ऐसा कई बार देखा जाता है कि आप ATM से पैसा निकालने जाते हैं और खाली हाथ वापिस आ जाते हैं लेकिन अब ऐसा नहीं होगा। ATM में पर्याप्त Cash नहीं रखना अब बैंकों को भारी पड़ेगा।
भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) ने कहा है कि अगर नकदी की कमी की वजह से ग्राहक को ATM से खाली हाथ लौटना पड़ा तो संबंधित बैंक पर इस वर्ष पहली अक्टूबर से जुर्माना लगाया जाएगा। RBI ने एक सर्कुलर में कहा है कि किसी भी बैंक के ATM में एक महीने में ज्यादा से ज्यादा 10 घंटे तक Cash की कमी स्वीकार्य है।
RBI का कहना है कि इसका मकसद ATM में Cash की कमी से होने वाली दिक्कत से ग्राहकों को निजात दिलाना है। RBI पर बैंक नोट जारी करने की जिम्मेदारी है। वहीं, बैंकों पर देशभर में अपने ATM के नेटवर्क के माध्यम से नोट ग्राहकों तक पहुंचाने की जिम्मेदारी है।
बैंकों और व्हाइट लेबल ATM (वैसी कंपनियां जिन्हें RBI ने सिर्फ ATM परिचालन का लाइसेंस दिया है) आपरेटर्स को अपना तंत्र मजबूत रखना होगा। उन्हें सुनिश्चित करना होगा कि उनके तहत आने वाले किसी भी ATM में Cash की कभी भी कमी नहीं हो। RBI ने कहा कि ATM में नकदी की कमी को बेहद गंभीरता से लिया जाएगा और बैंकों पर मौद्रिक जुर्माना लगेगा।
