bruh i always forget i can post on here and not just rb things with my general trail of thoughts

but here is a txt post 

-started playing ff9 this morning since it was on discount and can not get over how beautiful the bg art is for the castle town environment

also noticing lil refs and im guessing this game is where the ff14 alexander raids where based on

also getting back into drawing slowly and super rusty since it’s been month on end just focusing on irl stuff cause im a full time worker and barely have any energy to do anything besides consume content while working and after just melting into a blob BUT i want to get back in to squeezing out my creative juices! I have so many ideas written down and I also think i have a better grasp on my art anxiety and will just be better at having fun and not looking at any kind of number

As with a lot of MMOs, roleplaying is a big thing. A BIG thing. Another big thing is the modding scene, so you can get your character looking just how you like. Squeenix does not best love mods, but it's broadly a don't-ask-don't-tell situation: as long as your mods don't give you an unfair advantage and you don't rub them in anyone's face, they'll look the other way

Guess what's the explicit direct polar opposite of not rubbing it in anyone's face

Buying four entire billboards in a major US city about it

A roleplay group bought out multiple billboards to advertise an event, and used both a modded screenshot (edit: that apparently uses a datamined unreleased outfit holy shit) and the official game logo on it

This Has Gone Well For Them and last I heard people had been banned temporarily over it pending more severe action, the modding scene is having very real fears that Squeenix will crack down on mod use over it, and apparently the organizers are pitching a hissy on their discord

I haven't had wifi for almost a month, so I missed the big 7.1 update. But Luka's internet is back so I'm hogging his connection, and the first thing I do the second I log back on is update my Emet Wall.
