Finally got time to watch Beryl and Sapphire S2 and ahhh I missed these boys so much seeing them again makes my heart feel so warm

I'll be interesting to see how this season goes since season 1 was a bunch of collective AU's and this one being focused on the one Knight and Demon Lord plot that showed up, I'm excited~

First thing being Sapphire banished from his order and going back to a 'commoner', he always get's the bad end of the stick in almost all of the AU's which make me cry but seeing them interact again is gold

Wanting to be a hero and as well showing Beryl the beauty of humankind to stop him from killing the next chosen one is going to be very interesting, I love how cute they are in this updated art style as well as how much more expressive they feel.

While it was short I can't wait for the next episode to know more how this goes as well as how the new side characters play a role in this, here is my favorite screencap for ep.1:

Time for Beryl and Sapphire S2ep2!

Starting off strong with Sapphire wanting to show how the human world is worth saving, I just find it really precious especially when it gives a throwback to the scene in S1 where they both see the other side of each other's world inverted.

We then finally learn a bit more about the companions by Beryls's side as they were really not expanded on in the original story and how one is plotting and almost sinister but I think might hide behind that mask as he is shown to be the guard of the Demon King. While the other tries to help him in finding a way to shared his human vision of the world so he can see the beauty of the festival and so change him mind.

Then we get to the end of the episode where we get more Beryl and Sapphire interactions which i adore cause of how sweet they are and man they really do give me cute aggression when this scene happened.

And upon confirming the last time in S1 where he visited the human realm and also saw sapphire as a monster proceeds to say:

finally got my you yao reprint copy now i have both the original print and the new one with the extra's and extra illust./ merch~

finally caught up with the you yao donghua episodes released and man i really have been enjoying it all

i can't wait for the next episode now that im on the weekly wait and going to start the AD now that i have bought it as well and draw the different versions of the chara's between their different adaptations

i also caved in and bought the reprint of the novel with the new merch even tho i already have a copy of the novel i bought when s1 came out

i honestly just wanna support the series and have a lil bit of merch to display on my shelf

thinking about post-finale emma again with identity problem and reconciling herself vs what her gracefield family sees

also still thinking about norman and ayshe....ayshe being the still separated from others due to ESL and being one of the few speakers of the "demon" language.....and norman trying to reach out for connection and penance.....

i just got the tpn art book~ i saw it kinokuniya while i was out with a friend and had t double check to find an en version but yay~

no i just got to finish up the rest of the volumes but im having an itch to draw emma again especially seeing ppl comment on my old art

was able to finally get my account reactivated now that i know there is an official you yao AD and put some money and mass buy a bunch of AD's such as tgcf and other's i've been keeping my eye on, can't wait to listen to them this weekend when i have time and also drawing the different lou zhu designs~

drinking sweet touch lychee fruit beer and it's legit the only beer i like and having it on this cool night after having a nice burger and fries while chilling under covers really is nice~

so spent this morning playing house in fata morgana and just finished the first door and never did i expect fully the twist that happened near the end, i did find it kinda strange in the beginning but when the metaphorical rug was pulled at the revelation i got the biggest chills

honestly the sound design and ost really does amp up the tension thru each scene

there hasn’t really been any dialogue options but still this ride is so interesting, im onto the second door now and i can’t wait to figure out what this era is going to bring and how the maid works into this whole thing

finally passed the 100ch mark and decided to celebrate via a sketch

things i noticed upon rereading tpn:

the place where emma was asked about the price of the promised is foreshadowed to be a lie with just that bottom left panel...

as it is the same place where she lied about her feelings regarding norman's plan, where ray was right on his intuition that is was something that emma forced herself to lie for the sake of everyone else....
