Safari GT-R, 1990 (2024), by Adam LZ. The YouTuber has taken an R32 generation Skyline GT-R and given it a custom suspension lift, off-road modifications and an upgraded powertrain. In addition to the long travel suspension there are Nitto Nomad Grappler tyres (215/65R17) and 17-inch wheels. The Nismo-branded roof rack and integrated lights have been cut into the Skyline's roof while there's a custom bash bar with extra lights at the front. The RB26 24 valve DOHC straight 6 has been enhanced with a Garrett GTX3576 Gen 2 turbocharger and a tweaked ECU by Monster Performance to produced 500hp

Powerful mid-range and firm suspension

The Impul R32-R is a sportier version of the old R32 used car. Impul, who knows the R32 inside and out, has produced a limited edition of 200 units.

The moment you turn the key, after a short cranking sound, a low, powerful exhaust sound is released. You'll be surprised when you fire up the engine for the first time, but from the second time onwards, the few milliseconds it takes for the engine to start will become an exciting and fun experience. You'll be immersed in the pleasure and sense of superiority of owning a special car that is clearly different from the normal one.

The IMPUL R32-R is a car that IMPUL has tuned based on a used 4-door Skyline GTS-t Type M. It comes with a GT-R bonnet, aero parts, an IMPUL muffler that meets vehicle inspection standards, struts, and other accessories.

The tuning is relatively modest, with just the addition of wheels, tires and steering.

However, the installation of the IMPUL muffler has clearly given the Skyline a larger torque output, especially in the turbo zone between 3500 and 6000 rpm, which is greater than the stock torque, making the Skyline feel more powerful.

The handling is also more rigid and sharp. I assumed that the shocks had been replaced with sportier ones, but after asking again, I found out that they hadn't.

The only parts that have been modified in relation to handling are the strut tower bar and the tires and wheels, and the combination of these elements creates a sense of rigidity and sharpness. To be honest, I was surprised by this.

One reason for this may be that the ProCheck System checks 123 different parts of the body and engine, ensuring that the car is maintained to an almost like-new condition.

Not only does it not at all feel inferior as a used car, it has the performance of a regular GTS-t+a and is a car that is fun to drive.

For drivers who don't feel like tuning their car themselves but still want to drive a car that's different from others, prices starting from around 2 million yen are also attractive.
