Rating: General Audiences
Tags: Cold Weather Investigations, Banter
Summary: Watts and Greyson find themselves working together on a case related to the campus. At night in an old building, to be precise.
Created for: @12daysofchristmas / @multiversebingo, Good Things Can Happen — Working as a Team / @fandombingo, The Little Prince — Getting Lost in the Night + Wonderland — “I have no choice.” + NeverWhere — “I don’t want it.” / “You don’t have any choice.” + Reverse: 1999 — A Closed Door / @halloweenhorrorbingo 2024 card — Sneaking into a Facility / @multifandom-flash, July Events | Global Forgiveness Day — The unapologetic
@fandom-free-bingo, Plural Edition — “Why Are You Like This?” / @fairytalebingo — “We shouldn’t do this” / @sweetspicybingo, Lyrical Edition — And the darkness is a comfort for a while | Autoheart
Excerpt:
Greyson pulled his scarf tighter around his neck, throwing a prudent glance at the detective beside him. “You know, I thought this sort of thing was against your principles. Sneaking into buildings at night without a warrant, mean.”
Watts gave him a sidelong glance, his expression impassive but his eyes betraying a flicker of amusement. “My principles, Mr. Greyson, are flexible when the pursuit of justice necessitates it.” He decided to skip mentioning the time Joseph caught Crabtree and him trying to break into one of the campus’ bedrooms during a previous case. “Besides, you’re the one with the keys.”
“Ah, yes,” Greyson muttered, his hand wrapping around the ring of keys from his coat pocket. “The perks of being a glorified watchman.”

In the game, the "Storm" is a wide-scale supernatural phenomenon of unknown origin, speculated to mark the ends of eras. Its arrival dissolved time. For more info, you can check this page: The Storm | Reverse: 1999 Wiki | Fandom --- This is the only fandom-specific term you'll see in some of the prompts, so if you end up with one on your card, you're welcome to use this in-game definition, or just a regular storm, or a figurative interpretation, etc., it's up to you.
You can combine multiple prompts in one fanwork.
Each submitted fanwork should be new and complete, but it can be a standalone, part of a series, or one chapter of a multi-chaptered fic.
This bingo is primarily geared towards fanfic, but any medium is fine if you feel you can do it.

Warm Winter Search
Day 3, “Here, take my coat.” Chicago PD (TV), Kevin Atwater/Kim Burgess Word Count: 752
Ao3 link
Rating: General Audiences
Tags: Teasing, Idiots in Love, Fluff
Summary: Kim and Kevin are paired up to look for evidence at a park, and a conversation about Kim’s poor choice of clothes lead to a discussion about their weekend dinner plans.
Created for: @12daysofchristmas / @thebo3bingo — Walking In The Snow / @multifandom-flash, July events | World Emoji Day — 🥶 (Cold Face emoji) + August events | Lazy Day — Laziness callout / @fandombingo, Martian — 101 Ways a Planet Can Kill You + Reverse: 1999 — Partners
@seasonaldelightsbingo, Types of Love — “You Got Me, I Got You. Together, We Always Pull Through.” / @multiversebingo, Good Things Can Happen — Goals
Excerpt:
The only sound was the crunch of their boots sinking into the snow as Kim and Kevin walked side by side along the edge of the park. The search for evidence had brought them out of the warm interiors of their car, and Kim regretted every life choice that had led her to underestimate Chicago’s brutal winter that same morning. She wrapped her arms tighter around herself, her breath becoming white clouds in front of her face when she reached out.
“You look like a popsicle,” Kevin said, glancing at her.
“I’m fine,” Kim replied through a forced smile hiding her chattering teeth, clearly anything but fine.
Kevin gave her a knowing look. Without hesitation, he started shrugging off his coat.
“Don’t even think about it,” she told him in a serious tone, stopping in her tracks to shoot him a glare.
“Oh, I’m thinking about it.” He placed his coat over her shoulders before she could wriggle away.
“Kevin—”

Snowstorm’s Company
Day 2, Trapped together in a snowstorm Murdoch Mysteries, Violet Hart & Llewellyn Watts Word Count: 731
Ao3 link
Rating: General Audiences
Tags: Christmas, Awkward Flirting, Traditions, Dialogue Heavy
Summary: Detective Watts’ the only person in the Constabulary on Christmas Day when he receives the visit of Violet Hart.
Created for: @12daysofchristmas / @fandom-free-bingo, Pride — Christmas Day + World Book Night — The Perks of Being a (Wallflowers) / @fandombingo, Reverse: 1999 — Tender is the Night + Neverwhere — “And if there isn’t any later?” + The Little Prince — Time soothes all sorrows. / @sweetspicybingo, Lyrical edition — It’s okay, we’re just scared | Cavetown
Excerpt:
“I thought you might be long gone by now, Detective,” she announces as she shakes the snow from her hat. “Most people have better places to be on Christmas Day.”
“Ah, but then, Miss Hart,” Llewellyn starts, not looking up just yet, “most people are not myself. An empty apartment holds little appeal, even compared to this draughty office.”
Violet smiles softly and hangs her coat. “No family, I assume?”
Watts pauses mid-scribbling. “Not nearby, no. And, truthfully, the day has never been of much significance to me. And yourself? You ventured out in this weather, surely not for my company alone. Has any poor soul found their way into the morgue today?”

Those Fears Invade Me
Triple drabble for @flashfictionfridayofficial prompt #248 — Watching Birds, read under the cut and on Ao3 here.
Fandom: The Resident (TV 2018)
Rating: Teen And Up Audiences
Pairing: Nicolette Nevin & Mina Okafor, AJ Austin/Mina Okafor
Tags: Confessions, Dreams and Nightmares, Mentor/Protégé, Mention of Surgery
Summary: Watching The Raptor operate on an emergency patient, Mina talks to Nick about her Halloween dream.
Wordcount: 300
Also created for: @fandombingo, Reverse: 1999 Edition | Confession / @multifandom-flash, Taboo flash card | Forbidden Love / @eclipsingbingo | Secrets
“How late am I?” Mina asked as she joined Nic in the back chamber of the OR.
“Ten minutes in. Should I call in and—”
“No.” She had gone to that room and not scrubbed in directly for a reason. “I need a break.”
The reason why she hadn’t joined Austin earlier was because she was closing up a patient when an emergency came in, and her mentor moved to a different OR’s.
They followed the procedure in silence through the screens inside the other room. Suction. Suture. Retraction. Repeat.
“I kissed him,” Mina felt the need to say.
And Nic choked on her coffee, as it was expected. It was logical, she would have done that too if she had been on the receiving end of the news.
“When we left for the conference on Halloween and stayed in that town,” she explained. “When Red Rock closed their hospital, they didn’t handle the disposal of medicine correctly and the waters were contaminated. Visitors had dreams of all sorts there, we were told. I even dreamed of … darker things, before the kiss.”
“Have you talked to him?” Nic looked at her. “Austin?”
“About a dream? Doing that wouldn’t do any good.” She crossed her arms over her chest, but not in a defensive way. Taking into account all rational facts had been decisive to make a decision on how to proceed with what her mind put her through and the underlying feelings behind that scene. “There is no good outcome, given our situation.”
“He’s …”
“My teacher.” Mina nodded. “I kissed him in a dream and I must live with that. But he doesn’t.”
Nic didn’t say anything else. They watched the screens closely for a few minutes.
“I don’t have to say this stays between us, do I?” Mina checked.

Harder Than It’s Supposed To Be
For @juneofdoom, day 30 | “Breathe, damn you!” + Shock + Asphyxiation + Emergency Room. All of them seemed to oddly fit this one episode of New Amsterdam and I couldn’t resist writing for my ship.
Fandom: New Amsterdam (TV 2018)
Rating: Teen And Up Audiences
Pairing: Casey Acosta/Lauren Bloom
Tags: Episode: s03e12 Things Fall Apart, Friendship, can be read as platonic but why would you
Summary: After the pipe bursts, it’s Lauren’s priority to take care of everyone before her. Casey finds her when she collapses.
Wordcount: 608
Also created for: @hurtcomfort-bingo, Pick Your Poison | Skin contact (POISON) / @fandom-free-bingo, Maritime May | Avalanche + Pride Bingo | ‘I’ve Seen the Light, I’ve Seen the Darkness’ + Book Night Edition | New Treatment / @sweetspicybingo, Hurt/Comfort Bingo | Bridal carry / Blog: @seasonaldelightsbingo, Language of Flowers | Frostbite / @fandombingo, Reverse: 1999 edition | A Deep Sleep / @multifandom-flash, April Events: Honest Day | Accidental Truth
Excerpt:
Casey slept by her bed in the ICU. At least that’s what he told Reynolds when he came in checking on them, because he didn’t really sleep at all.
The continuous exposure of Bloom to the toxins made her go into shock, collapsing on what was left of the emergency room —taken to the hallway next door since it had been flooded by the dangerous agent, to start with— and tried to help her last patient. While other doctors tried to find an effective treatment against their odds, having lost the very first exposed patient who happened to be right next to Bloom when it happened, Casey still waited for her to wake up if her asphyxiation hadn’t caused further issues.

“It’s Captain America’s boyfriend,” the man continued. And then chuckled. “I’ve never seen him wearing black.” Joaquín was confused as to where he was coming from, and his face must have said so because the man explained “for your funeral!”
He smiled wickedly and it made Joaquín want to spit on his face, but he contained himself. The blade on the right side of his face was a point in favour of containing himself, to be fair.

To See Your Photo When I Wake Up
I’ve been thinking of my fav three lately and I wanted to give them some fluff. This was inspired by @queer-it-up-bingo — OTP and @monthly-challenge — Sunshine. You can read it under the cut and on Ao3 here.
Fandom: Chicago Fire
Rating: General Audiences
Pairing: Sylvie Brett/Joe Cruz/Brian "Otis" Zvonecek
Tags: Canon Divergence, Established Relationship, pDomestic Fluff, Huddling For Warmth, Polyamory
Summary: Joe and Brian wake Sylvie up early on their free day to show her something very special.
Wordcount: 1.1k
Also created for: @fandombingo | Sylvie Brett + Reverse: 1999 Edition | It’s Coming / @multifandom-flash, r2 #2003 | Bunnies for Cuteness + r2 #2005 | Piggyback Cute / @eclipsingbingo | Huddling For Warmth
Hugging her bunny plushie tightly so as not to lose it between the sheets, Sylvie rolled over herself to change her position with the idea to enjoy her free day staying in bed for as long as her body let her.
That usually worked on the second free-day between shifts, but on the first one her working clock told her it was time to wake up, and made sure her partners were also awakened before leaving for the firehouse, around seven am.
Not today, she thought to herself, relaxing again and trying to focus back on what she was dreaming about before she had brightened up. And then came the whispering at the other side of her door.
It was weird that Brian and Joe were up before her, so Sylvie opened an eye and reached her phone, wanting to check what time it was. Minutes past seven in the morning was what the numbers on the screen told her, so her only wish quickly turned to be that nothing terrible had happened to have her partners up that early.
She stayed alert out of curiosity, trying to figure out what they were talking about until she heard her name. And then she knew they were up to no good.
If this was happening a few months back, her fear would have been that her boyfriends were having another disagreement about their relationship and dynamics, since living the three altogether and being co-workers didn’t make it any easier for any of them. Sylvie knew that the two best friends held feelings for one another since the first time she met them, and it had taken both men some time to come together and make peace with that. None of them confessed a thing, of course, until she came into the picture and became the glue into their peculiar love triangle, bringing them closer than they’d been now that they didn’t hide anything that their hearts felt. For this reason, Sylvie was afraid of being the focus of any argument and being a threat for that friendship they treasured so kindly.
As the low voices continued, she thought of getting up but didn’t as she heard the door to her room being silently open.
“Sylvie,” Joe whispered as he approached her bed. She pretended to be asleep, testing the waters to see what it all was about. “You think it’s a good idea to wake her up?” Joe then said over her; Sylvie figured out Brian was at the other side.
“She can’t miss it!” Brian responded but not in a quiet tone.
Curiosity was taking the best of her, so she made herself be noticed. “Miss what?”
“Okay, how long have you been awake?” Brian asked with a smirk, she got to see thanks to the light in the living room coming through the door when she rolled over to be on her back.
“Since you started whispering on my door five minutes ago,” Sylvie told them.
“Sorry about that,” Joe said with a closed smile, and then threw a deadly glare to their boyfriend, who just rolled his eyes.
“I’m not apologizing, you started it! But I’m doing something better.” He sat down on her bed, leaning to kiss her still sleepy face. “Let me carry you to the living room.”
“Can Geogie come?” she questioned, raising a teasing eyebrow as she asked about her bunny plushie.
“Georgie is always welcome to join us,” Joe nodded, bowing with his arms folded to serve as support for Georgie.
Sylvie got out of the sheets, handing her beloved friend to Joe and then climbed on Brian’s back. His hands were warm where he kept her secured over him, leaning forward as not to lose his balance with the new added weight. They walked outside her room, and Sylvie realised she didn’t get to find out what the discussion was about and only knew where they were heading. “What’s in the living room?”
“The first sunrise of spring!” Joe explained with a huge smile, rushing to be the first one to reach the couch that was not in the place it was usually at.
She frowned, confused because from their apartment’s level they usually couldn’t see the sun coming out, but perhaps that was the reason why her boyfriends were that excited about it (and up so early, too).
Brian left her in the middle of the couch, which was turned to face one specific window of their living room, and had the coffee table accommodated around it as well.
“We’ve made coffee, and hot chocolate for you,” Brian told her.
“It’s early, so make sure you don’t get cold,” Joe warned. He gave her Georgie back and picked up one of the blankets that were over one of the arms of the couch.
Sylvie hugged her bunny while she let Joe lay out the blanket over the both of them. Brian served two big cups of coffee, one for Joe and the other for himself. After passing Sylvie her favourite mug, that was shaped like a koala, with the steamy drink that welcomed a great day she was looking forward to spending with her partners.
She snuggled with Joe, getting under his arm to keep the warmth between them, and then opened her own for Brian, after some sips of his coffee, to get comfortable over her.
The sun came up in the horizon, as slow as Joe played with Brian’s hair, who was more relaxed than Sylvie had lately seen him. She held him tightly with one arm, watching the sun rays hit their window and light up the scene at the other side of the glass while she enjoyed the hot chocolate. It was Joe’s secret family recipe that he only made for special occasions, so that had to be one of them.
It wasn’t long that she had moved to Chicago, but time had started really counting for her when she moved in with ‘Crotis’, as Joe and Brian called themselves. The first sunrise of spring was something she hadn’t paid attention to in the past, due to having been living alone when it occurred. Now, in the quiet of the home she had built with the man she was in love with, Sylvie welcomed the experience of sitting front row for the nature show her partners had been kind to share with her.
She would thank them for insisting on renting that place in particular, reasoning that the views were incomparable, later; when they woke up from having dozed off between caresses and soft kisses.

It was Nic’s coffee break when she decided to enjoy the sunny day by sitting at a table outside the Chastain Memorial.
She almost missed it after the first sip from her cappuccino, the creature flying to hair and landing on her lap.
The butterfly was as tiny as it was lightweight. Orange, like Jessie’s hair when she dyed it at fifteen. Like the cat’s painting from kindergarten that lived in their childhood-home’s fridge for years, until they both moved out. Like her sister’s favourite top.
It had to mean something, she guessed. Wondered. Hoped for.
Then, it took off.

The Voice In The Lights
Wrote a little fic @monthly-challenge’s prompt — Green. You can read it under the cut and on Ao3 here.
Fandom: The Last Ship (TV)
Rating: Teen And Up Audiences
Pairing: Carlton Burk/Danny Green
Tags: Canon Divergence, Missing Scene, Sunsets, Memories
Summary: The sunset makes Burk remember his mother. He wants to share the moment with Danny.
Wordcount: 712
Also created for: @fandombingo, The Last Ship card | Carlton Burk + Reverse: 1999 edition | Emergency Meeting / @eclipsingbingo | Hugs From Behind / @fandom-free-bingo, Book Night Edition | “I’m Not Asking.”
He had kept their mother alive in his thoughts.
In the memory of his sister, laughing at something he said and she didn’t find funny. In the echo of his mother’s voice, in the flashbacks of the farewell before he boarded the Nathan James for the first time and in the smell of fresh bacon in the morning when they were lucky to have some.
Meanwhile, his sister lived in the picture on his phone from their trip to New Orleans, even if the device hadn’t been turned on for months now that he was back in the seas. In the only song that was in his music player because he had downloaded it for him and in the chilly nights when he just needed his sister to laugh along with him —or about him, he didn’t mind.
It had been almost four years now that his mother lived in his heart, because she didn’t live in their home anymore. At least he knew that much.
They had reached their hometown in one of the ground expeditions, and even if he hadn’t come with the group that covered the area, Green had been trusted with the duty of checking his mother’s house, and look for any sign of her.
There was no luck in finding her there. Which meant that the woman was clever enough not to stay alone when a virus threatened the world, and she had most likely packed a suitcase and drove to Aunt Claire’s home. Which meant that he was in luck. Because there was a chance, still, of his mother being there. Of her having gotten the vaccine even. Of her being alive.
So he knew, almost for sure, that her mother didn’t only live in his heart. At that moment, she was also living in the sunset lights in front of him that welcomed the evening and the promise of a calm night with no clouds in the sky. If luck was on his side again, perhaps a few stars will decorate the endless dark blue empire later that night as well.
Burk hadn’t seen anything like that in twenty years. The colours in the horizon danced and mixed together, painting a picture that was hard to describe but made him cherish the fact that he was there to watch it.
He heard a door closing, and calm steps followed the sound. He had been living there long enough to know who they belonged to.
Green soon reached his level and leaned on the deck rail next to him. Crashing their shoulders together, leaning softly onto him was his way of letting him know he was there, since his eyes were lost in paradise in front of them and he guessed anyone would say he was ‘absent’.
“You need to see me?” Danny asked. “Ray said it was important.”
“Look at this,” Burk said, almost whispering. “When was the last time you saw something this beautiful?”
Green needed a moment to realise what he was talking about, following his stare to the distant clouds and the colours painting them with beautiful shades over the Gulf of Mexico.
Danny turned to look at him, though Carlton missed that. He pushed the rail for support and backed off, rounding him until his arms were hugging him from behind and Danny’s chin rested on his shoulder. “When was the last time you looked in a mirror?”
“Smooth,” Burk huffed. His warmth felt nice; it wasn’t usual for them to have a quiet moment and just … enjoy the present.
“So this is the emergency you needed me for?” Danny asked. “Not that I’m complaining. It is beautiful.”
“It’s an emergency when the sunset lasts no more than three minutes and my boyfriend is not around to see it, yeah,” he confirmed. “You almost missed it this time.”
“I am here now.” Danny reassured him. If anything new had come up in the ship, that would be talked about later.
Green joined his partner to the show that was displayed on the horizon, and Burk wondered what was going on in Danny’s mind as he did. He could always ask him.
But for the time being, his own was filled with the memory of his mother smiling. So he smiled too.

Gigi’s legs move lazily, hanging from her seat as she eats her strawberry ice-cream. “Uncle Billie, what was mummy’s favourite ice-cream?”
She smiles, realising that the flavour she’s chosen is exactly Nic’s favourite. “Vanilla.”
“If you guess my dads’ favourite flavours, I’ll let you try mine!” Sammie proposes, noticing Gigi’s curious eyes on her choco-mint cup.
“That’s not fair! They are not my best friends,” Gigi pouts.
“Let’s see,” Billie musses, “I’d say Jake’s is … butter pecan. Or raspberry ripple ice cream.”
“And Gregg’s is …” Gigi copies Billie’s expression, “the blue one we saw there!”
Sammie just giggles. “Try again.”

For fanfic, the minimum is 100 words with no maximum.
You can use fanworks submitted for this event for other events as well, so long as it’s okay with the other side too.
While signups are only open for a month, there is no time limit for completing a card.
This bingo only offers 3x3 cards. Everyone can sign up for a maximum of three cards (please send in one form/card).
After submitting a form, please give me a week to reply with your card.
All content and ratings are allowed but please tag everything appropriately, especially if there’s trigger-warning content.
Please be respectful of each other. If you see content tags you don’t like, just scroll past and move on.
All fanworks must be your own creation. No plagiarism. No AI-generated works.
To Finish a Card:
Get a bingo! This can be: -> 1 horizontal row; -> 1 vertical column; -> 1 diagonal line; -> 2 diagonal lines; -> or a blackout.
Fill out the completion form (1 form/card).
