Y'all know, I often wonder about how Larry felt after the final of "Secret of the Tomb"

Just think about it: over the years spent working at the museum, Larry developed quite a bond with the exhibits and they became like a second family to him. He spent a good part of his life alongside them and went through a lot of things with them, from the completely ordinary to the seriously dangerous ones.

And then there were those adventures in London. Larry worked his ass off to keep the magic of the tablet alive and save the lives of his friends, while still somehow trying to bond with Nicky and be a good father to him. The quintessense of all these things probably put a terrible strain on Larry, and I could tell that at some point he was even afraid. Afraid that he couldn't save them all in time.

And so, after all those hard efforts, Larry still loses all his friends and his favorite job in particular; that's it, he's left all alone (let's not count Nicky, okay?). Years of strong friendship, the joy of victories, and even sleepless nights - all for the sake of becoming just a vague memory. Larry was certainly not prepared for this turn in his life, and I have no idea at all how he coped with all those changes. He basically had to start his life over from scratch.

But Larry was able to do that: to let go of all those things that happened at the British Museum, to leave his favorite job and find a new one, to find a new course in his life. And frankly, I admire him for that.

Can I please go in a mini rant on the ep “The legend begins” which is where we find out Alfor pretty much created the lions and how it makes no freakin sense? Well I’m gonna anyway:

1. It retckons almost everything that we’ve been told about “The Legend of Voltron”, every alien species the paladins meet makes Voltron to be this legendary warrior that’s been around for decades to help bring piece to the galaxy, some pretty powerful shit right there, but…then they were just built by some guy for himself and his friends..? Ok Voltron (not to mention they also describe the lions to be these almost spiritual beings which clearly can’t be the case if they were just built by someone…unless the “oh so posed” quintessence has something to do with it…?)

1/2. This kinda goes with the last one but in the episode they still actually treat Voltron as this spiritual being that was just MEANT TO BE (either that or Alfor just has flashbacks to the fucking future) but how can that be the case if they were JUST created by someone?? (Literally: Alfor shows off the lions to his friends, they go to zarkons planet with the lions, then BOOM Voltron is somehow in existence now because plot) and after this whole stupid set up Alfor acts like he’s known Voltron was a thing this entire time? How? Was that part of the building process? Can he see in the future? Give me something to believe in DreamWorks!

2. How powerful is this “Quintessense”? Cuz according to Alfor they were created with Altean magic making them extremely powerful and nearly invincible. But then it turns out he doesn’t even know what they can do with that amount of power?? If you don’t know how much power they have maybe don’t take them out on a joy ride first thing Alfor? Maybe think about this a bit more?

3. In earlier seasons they make it seem that the LIONS choose their paladins, but in this episode it feels like the other way around (and it just so happens almost all of them wear the same colors as the lions cuz how else would the audience know who’s suppose to be paired up with who?). But if I’m being honest this is just inconsistent throughout the entire series so I don’t know what I expected

4. How long did it take for Alfor to build the lions? Cuz it clearly needed to be built before that weird dark magic thing took over zarkons planet (I think…? Idk my brain is mostly filled with better fanfics for this show then the actual show at this point) but like those things should have took at least a year to build considering how “complex and mysteriously complicated they are to work with”

5. And this is just my curiosity, why the hell was Alfors first instinct when it came to “i need to build some powerful machine to make this whole fighting the baddies of the galaxy thing easier” was just a bunch of big cats? You could have picked literally ANYTHING Alfor

So yea there’s my rant, I absolutely hate that episode with my entire being, more so then the Lance/ Allura date episode somehow. Also! If you know of any fanfics that give Voltron a way better origin story plz link them cuz I’ve been trying to find some really good ones lately.

Headcannon time!!

Summonings✨

So, summonings, firstly why the ghouls are summoned.

For the band

For basic tasks and chores around and for the upkeep of the abbey

For Band summonings, each Papa summons at least one ghoul during their papacy, primo had summoned his whole band with supervision from the clergy heads to insure that they where band material, if they weren’t they where wither sent back or used as house maids for the abbey. Secundo had only summoned two or three ghouls during his papacy, one of them being mist, who was used as a house maid before becoming a bassist for the band, secundo mostly used primos ghouls though. Terzo had only summoned Omega and Swiss, the others where used as house maids before they were part of the band. Copia summoned sunshine, the ministries first female multi ghoul.

Speaking of multi-ghouls, let’s get on to how difficult it is to summon different kinds of ghouls.

Fire ghouls are the easiest to summon, most of the fire ghouls at the ministry are house maids, only the best of them are selected to be in the band.

Fire ghouls are also mostly male.

Duo multi-ghouls like Dew or Sunshine are even rarer for fire kinds. A duo multi like an earth and water or air and earth are relatively easy to summon and fairly common.

But a fire mix is rarer then rare, sunshine is an air and fire, air ghouls are more commonly girls while fire are mostly males, and female Multis are near impossible to get, so when sunshine was summoned and she fell to the chapel floor in a hurricane of fire it came as a major shock.

Dew was originally water, so he has some characteristics of a water ghoul but is mostly fire now, he’s what you’d call an “artificial multi-ghoul”

Water ghouls are the next easiest, many of the kitchen staff are water ghouls, you almost never see a water mix multi unless they’re artificial.

Most of them are male.

Even though it’s relatively easy to get water ghouls it’s really hard to get one that can talk. Most water ghouls are mute either by choice or because they where born like that, Rain is no exception to that. The only ones that can actually talk to him are Swiss and Aether on account of their quintessense.

quintessense ghouls are very difficult to summon at first, but once you know how you can get them pretty easy. There are no known female quintessense ghouls, and non of the current ones remember any girls from their time in the pit. There’s only one duo quintessense multi at the abbey and they’re an assistant for nihil.

Air and earth ghouls are roughly the same difficulty and they’re only summoned for the band, never for any abbey related reasons, it’s very draining to try and summon them and in most accounts it takes several people to summon one earth ghoul. Copia is the only known summoner who could summon an air ghoul with no difficulty or side effects.

Swiss is the only pure multi, he has an even amount of all the elements, he’s the only known multi at the abbey. Swiss is gender-fluid, and because he’s a multi: he can change his appearance at will with the aid of quintessense and water (fluidity)

her quintessense took away any chance of breathing. i was suffocating from the way her lips connected to almost every inch of my body, shivering and writhing underneath her touch. cold, precise fingers slithering their way underneath my clothes, one of them hooking around the waist band of my pants. her hot breath crawling it’s way up the side of my neck until it reaches the shell of my ear, almost as if asking for permission since she was too unphased to ask for it herself. i quickly nodded my head with a whine as she slowly stripped them from my body, hers soon following suit.

a groan left her lips as she immediately dove down to the space between my legs, gripping my hips with an extreme amount of force, keeping them pinned on the bed. a skillful tongue swiped up my slit causing me to arch my back from the foreign feeling. she began sucking aimlessly, slick coating her chin as she devoured me like some sort of carnal animal.  

then, she became more precise. her lips wrapped around my clit, sucking and softly rolling it between her teeth. my hands flung towards her head, taking grip of her hair. she groaned, sending pleasant vibrations throughout my body. a whine ripped from my throat as her lips left my clit and began lapping up my core, trying to consume every last drop i could give.

she looked up at me, eyes glistening as she licked her lips. her lips met mine while she sloppily kissed me, teeth clattering against each other. that bittersweet taste of my essence still lingering on her tongue as she slid it in, exploring the caverns of my mouth. her fingertips felt like feathers, tickling the surface of my skin as she began to kiss lower and lower on my body. one hand began massaging one of my breasts while the other began teasing at my folds once again. she latched her mouth onto one of my nipples, making me squirm from the new sense of stimulation.

“had? i’d say we still have one, although seeing the way things are unfolding, the connection i believe we have may be unrequited.”

she nodded, slowly sliding clothes back on her body. i looked at her face, analyzing it, trying to understand what was going on in that riveting mind of hers. although she just looked.. empty, like no matter what tragedies would come her way, she would display the same lost expression.

“why did you do this with me then? the feeling? the experience?”

she nodded yet again.

“you sometimes make me feel the way i used to feel when i first met him.”

i knew exactly who she was talking about, that bastard eren. he doesn’t deserve someone as loyal and supportive as her. it wasn’t fair. how come he gets her? how come no matter how hard i try, she’ll always choose him? you knew you were far from perfect but goddamnit you loved her. only her.

“even just for a moment i wanted to feel that way again.” she said, turning her head towards me and resting it on her knees.

“and i did. and it felt better than i’d ever imagine.”

“do you regret it?” i asked, shuffling a bit closer to her.

“no. not at all.” she closed her eyes and smiled softly, “with the way i live my life, i’ve learned to not regret things. i’m going to die anyway, so i might as well focus on surviving and finding a purpose.”

i leaned forward, taking her face in my hands, and kissed her on the lips.

“can we focus on living then? just for now?”

she pulled me closer and wrapped her arms around me.

“i’d like that.”

If Shiro “died” in their final strike against Zarkon, then so should have the Paladins and the wrinkly zombie himself.

If they DIDN’T die, then neither did Shiro. The BlackLion—a literal teleporting Lion who’s awful at actually treating the Rules as even “Guidelines”—just panicked and Shiro’s actually fine. Just, well. Stuck. Inside a busted up Lion.

Basically it should’ve been Toothless and Hiccup again. (Only instead of losing another limb, Shiro needs his transporter signature reassembled from photons stored inside Black back into his own physical body.)

And if Allura presumably revives Lance from death WITHOUT a pod, then Jiro should’ve survived, too. He doesn’t have any serious injuries from the fight with Keith, save skin burns from Haggar forcing his prosthetic going all Trigun Angel Arm and Keith slicing it off. All the other stuff like drained/spent quintessence is either fanon speculation or the shakiest of WoG (which in practice already isn’t canonical ever).

So yes. Jiro should have survived, with his coma being either from exhaustion or psychological.

And Allura? We’ve seen her heal a Balmera. A literal animal that’s dense and massive enough to support a breathable atmosphere despite being about the size of Mercury (which even if it wasn’t next to a literal star probably couldn’t hold onto an atmosphere.) But she also had the Balmerans assisting her, not just the Castle.

So instead of her DYING by “fixing things” ALONE, we should’ve gotten a much larger Balmera Healing Ceremony to restore the Universe and Realities. EVERYONE chips in, with ALL the Lions and Paladins at the Center (Shiro, Pidge, Keith, Hunk, Lance, Allura, Jiro) and also exposition of the Rebels and GG and all other groups (including enemy Galra since this is their Universe, too, that they helped destroy) all sharing their Quintessense

And, y’know. Everybody lives? The Universe actually heals because while there’s still tensions and power vacuums and rebuilding and healing left to do...everyone’s just so exhausted and warsick and Enough?

Then exposition of the Paladins in their OG Lions (with Allura and Jiro riding Shotgun in BlackLion with Shiro and shown to be Favorites of the other Lions as well—especially Allura) doing their Paladin Thing of helping rebuild and kicking massive meteors away from habitted planets and stations.

The Untamed | Ep 13 | That's written in your clan's "The Quintessense of Wens"

For a ML/WITCH AU I'm thinking that Marinette could have the Heart of Candrakar (or whatever the thing that helps them transform is called) and Quintessense; Chloe could be Fire since that fits her so well, Kagami could either be Wind or Water, not sure of what Alya could be but I propose Rose for Earth since it includes plant control and I love giving Rose that power.

That's what I have so far! I decided on Water for Kagami which gives Alya Air by defualt. Which doesn't 100% fit but everything else was taken.

Also I was debating on which character to make Elyon but I landed on Adrien which is fun to play with. My runner up choice was Juleka but that would mean I'd have to make Luka be Phobos which like. Is not a decision I wanted lol.

kuro's the deity that daibazal pays tribute to

daibazal's people are all galra, BoM and Zarkon's emblems are both on keiths robe

i dont have much more from my initial idea, but i have tHOUGHTS

altea is the neighboring land and their deity is shiro

kuro drains the quintessence of his sacrifices so he technically doesnt have specific requirements, hes just a creep

in this world keith is quintessence sensitive, so he winds up being a replenishing well of neverending quintessence that kuro's decided to keep alive as his pet

now that he has the upper hand with more quintessense to throw the balance between good and evil, aka shiro vs kuro, shiro finds out about this when kuro starts to spread into his territory

one of the BoM characters (maybe krolia or kolivan) seeks out help from altea and informs them of how kuro got this powerful and ask for keith to be saved bc they can only imagine what kuros putting him through

princess allura (alteas ruler) summons her paladins to assist shiro in stealing keith from kuro while he distracts his twin

keith (once hes recovered a bit) gives shiro as much quintessence he can in order for shiro to take back his territory as well as free daibazal from kuros reign (which shiro then gets like atlas level powers)
