Creepy Eddie idea: him being really gross with a dental hygienist. Just absolutely slobbering around her fingers as she pokes around his mouth, little shop of horrors levels of “gonna cum in my pants” when he gets nicked by the sharp tools etc.
appointment day - edward nashton x gn!reader headcanons (NSFW)
{contains: descriptions of male masturbation, and very minor mentions of pain and blood. (don't worry, he's into it)}
♡ The air smells like stagnant alcohol. The chairs are small and uncomfortable. The people sitting in scatters around him in this waiting lobby look cold, detached. Edward hates appointments like these. He even booked one in the morning to try to avoid the crowd! No avail. He placed two fingers on the side of his throat, trying to feel his pulse woosh. It was a habit that an old therapist had dug into him. Feel the patter of your pulse. You are here. You are alive. And it's going to be alright, Edward. It's going to be alright.
♡ Edward Nashton? He flinches, his head snapping to where the meek voice called his name. And there you are. Dark scrubs. A blue mask pulled down under your chin. His mouth wiggles in an odd, warbly smile.
♡ He's not sure what exactly about you kickstarted his heart. Maybe it was the way the whirring overhead lights made your eyes glimmer. Or maybe it was the kind, soft smile you beamed at him as he stood up and followed you into the pristine white room. It was the uniform, wasn't it? Everybody loves a good pair of scrubs.
♡ The small talk is plain and simple as he lays down in the chair and you adjust the bright light above his mouth. How are you, Edward? Yeah, that humidity out there is brutal. Any plans for this weekend? Me neither.
♡ He's prepared to get this over with and go back home to where he's alone and safe. But something, some small, single ember flicks to life in his gut when you say it. Go ahead and open reeeal wide for me, hon.
♡ He feels his cheeks begin to sizzle. For fuck's sake. He could shrivel up and die from the embarrassment that immediately begins to flow through his veins. He'd been through this process every six months. What the hell made this visit so different? What made you so special?
♡ It sure didn't help that your touch was so gentle. Your words so sweet and encouraging. Your smell so intoxicating. No! Christ, dude, cut it out.
♡ He'd probably end up in tears over the guilt afterwards, but he can't help that his mind is suddenly flooded with thoughts of what he'd do to himself as soon as he got home. He'd try to memorize your bewitching scent and glittering smile as much as he could here and now and leave it for when he was alone again. He thought of the sweet relief he'd feel when he could finally touch himself.
♡ He fell deeper into his thoughts as you put your mask up and scraped at his teeth. He wouldn't want to give it to himself too quick. He'd take his time. He liked the build up. It would start off almost agonizingly slow, just letting the cool air lace itself around his dribbling cock. He wondered what you might be like, if you were there with him. How those gentle hands might feel wrapped around him, squeezing, tugging, teasing. His cheeks burned harsher and hotter as you poked and prodded around. He wondered what those fingers might be like ungloved, in his mouth--
♡ "Just a bit of blood, hon. That's normal. Just gotta floss more often." He tastes the coppery tinge of blood with his tongue as you floss.
♡ He nods and tries not to squirm as he feels the piece of floss dig into his gums. It aches so good. His eyes flutter as you readjust the beaming, bright light. God, it's all so intense.
♡ You wash Edward's mouth with a spray of water. You shut the light off and moved it away from his face, and he sits up. "No cavities!" you announce with a wide grin. "Good job."
♡ Fuck, how good those words sounded as they dripped from your lips.
♡ Edward sits in his car for a moment after waving goodbye to you and scheduling another appointment at the front desk, feeling the weak AC blow on his face and the sweltering sunshine pouring in from the windows. He could only hope to see you again in half a year from now. He smiled as he buckled his seatbelt and turned his key. Even if he didn't, he'd still have the memory of you tucked in the back of his brain.

Pulling them into another kiss before either of them could catch their breaths. Defender/OFC of your choice, please
So, I started to fill this Ask three times, with three different scenarios, until I was able to finish this one. Not sure if I even like how it turned out, for it doesn't have the charm or ease I was hoping for. Still, at least it's written! Oh, and though you asked for one of my OFC's, I ended up using the same Sorceress that appears in my No Defense for the Heart series. Thank you so much for your patience and constant support, my friend!🥰🥰

edit by @doctorstrangeaskblog
Well this was not the way you'd planned to tell Stephen your life altering news. He had only arrived home from his latest mission with the Defenders twenty minutes ago, and you had hoped to allow him a while to acclimate to normal Sanctum life. Take a shower, see to any dings he may have suffered in whatever battle he'd endured, then sit down to one of his favorite home cooked meals (you'd learned once you'd moved to Bleecker Street, the necessity for a stasis spell; as Sorcerer Supreme and leader of the Defenders, his schedule was far too unpredictable to plan meals--so that you always had a couple set in stasis for when he had actual time to sit down and enjoy one). But all had been upended when you broke from his arms as you greeted him home, to rush to the bathroom before you lost your lunch all over him.
Stephen rapped firmly on the door again, his voice calm but clearly anxious. "You okay in there, honey?" You sat on the edge of the tub, breathing deeply while trying to calm the roiling in your tummy, not sure how to answer just yet. "Can I come in, baby? Maybe there's something I can do to help..."
You cleared your throat, then stood up on shaking legs. "Um...I'm alright..." You gave a quiet belch, hoping he didn't catch that. "Just give me a couple minutes and I'll be right out."
"Alright, Y/N...if you say so." Your heart gladdened at the concern and healthy skepticism in his reply. "But I'm not going anywhere until I can see for myself that you're okay."
"Yes, of course." You tried to sound lighthearted as you stepped to the bathroom sink and slathered paste on your toothbrush. "I just need to make myself presentable, darling." Plunging the brush in your mouth, you began to scrub your teeth and gums with the dedication of a newly minted dental hygienist. Once done, you splashed your face with water, noting how pale your cheeks appeared. Can't be helped, you thought, but maybe he won't notice. Following up with a double rinse of mint mouthwash, gargling each time. Hoping it would be enough to allay any suspicions Stephen might have that you weren't merely sick.
Taking one last look in the mirror, you fluffed your fingers through your hair and gave your cheeks a quick pinch to try a raise some healthier looking color. It would simply have to do. Composing your face to reflect a serenity that eluded you at the moment, you opened the door. The relief on Stephen's face at the sight of you made you smile sincerely.
"What happened, honey?"
You took his hand, leading him to the divan at the foot of the bed. "Nothing much, darling. I've just been...um...a little under the weather the past few days..."
His reaction was immediate; seeing that you were seated first, he laid a palm across your forehead. "Have you been feverish? Wong tells me there's a nasty bug running its course through Kamar-Taj - did you visit there while I was gone?"
"No...no," you assured him gently while urging him to sit, "Not since we were there together the week before last."
"Good," Stephen nodded, "Though you look really pale. Do you think it was something you ate? I know a charm that can help with that..."
"Yeah...no, I'm pretty sure it wasn't." You lowered you eyes, suddenly shy that the moment had come, and come so abruptly. Sensing your reticence, Stephen traced a finger along your jawline, stirring you to shiver, so that he immediately pulled you into his arms. You murmured against his neck, "And it may be a while until I'm gonna feel back to my old self..."
You felt him stiffen a little, his apprehension piqued by your cryptic reply. "Wait...is it something serious? Something requiring traditional medicine?" You realized you'd tripped Stephen's fierce protective instinct - something you had come to adore about him, especially when he directed it at you. "I knew the best doctors in every field in my days at Metropolitan General," he went on, a grim edge to his voice, "More than a few of them owe me favors..."
You shook your head against him, smiling despite how serious he'd become. "Darling, now as always, you're the only doctor I need." Moving enough to face him, running your fingertips across his furrowed brow, you added, "And you're the best medicine a woman... this woman...could ever hope for." Sighing hard, you twined the fingers of your left hand through his right, the diamond of your engagement ring softly glinting. "It's only that I've muddled up the order that we planned for ourselves...if...if you know what I mean..."
Now Stephen looked perplexed, for though you thought he had clues enough to reach the proper conclusion, this was one of those times when the answer was staring him in the face, but his prodigious mind failed to grasp the simplest of realities. "You know, the long-term plan. Engagement. Move in together. Tie the, uh...knot. And then, when the time is right..."
His eyes went wide as saucers while he gasped his surprise. "Start...start our family..." Stephen sputtered, "...when the time is finally right..."
"Uh-huh," you shrugged, feeling both sheepish and contrite, " I got a little ahead of schedule..."
"Oh, my baby doll," he grinned, "My sweet, sweet girl!" Barely leaving you a moment to draw breath, Stephen pulled you to him, planting his lips on yours, murmuring your name as he kissed then kissed and kissed you. Dazed and dazzled as you drew away, you had only a second to memorize his euphoric expression before he pulled your face to his again, for a deeper, more enduring kiss - which was all the assurance you needed to know that even the best laid plans of the most formidable Master of the Mystic Arts could be happily laid waste for sake of the woman who had laid her gentle, loving claim upon his heart.

Understanding Dexketoprofen Trometamol - Uses and Benefits
The field of pain management has evolved significantly with the advent of various analgesics designed to alleviate acute and chronic pain. Among the most effective non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) is Dexketoprofen Trometamol. This fast-acting pain reliever has been extensively used in treating musculoskeletal pain, dental pain, and post-operative discomfort, providing relief without the high risk of dependency that accompanies some stronger painkillers.
In this blog, we will delve deep into the uses, benefits, and broader applications of Dexketoprofen Trometamol, particularly focusing on the 25 mg oral solution. We will also explore its role in the pharmaceutical industry in India and discuss why it has become a vital product for medicine manufacturers and suppliers in India.
What is Dexketoprofen Trometamol?
Dexketoprofen Trometamol is a potent NSAID used to relieve mild to moderate pain. It is the trometamol salt of dexketoprofen, which is the active enantiomer of ketoprofen. This drug works by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are compounds in the body responsible for causing inflammation, pain, and fever.
One of the standout qualities of Dexketoprofen Trometamol is its quick onset of action. Its oral formulation begins working within 30 minutes, making it a go-to option for fast pain relief. Due to its effectiveness and minimal side effects, it has found wide acceptance in the medical community.
Primary Uses of Dexketoprofen Trometamol
1. Pain Management in Musculoskeletal Disorders
Dexketoprofen Trometamol is particularly effective in managing pain arising from musculoskeletal conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. These conditions often result in chronic pain, and NSAIDs like Dexketoprofen Trometamol play a crucial role in alleviating this discomfort by reducing inflammation at the source.
2. Post-Operative Pain Relief
After surgeries, patients often experience significant pain, which can hinder recovery if not managed well. Dexketoprofen Trometamol’s ability to quickly reduce pain makes it an excellent choice for post-operative care, ensuring patients experience less discomfort and can recuperate more smoothly.
3. Dental Pain
Dental pain, whether due to tooth extractions, cavities, or other dental procedures, can be extremely uncomfortable. Dentists often prescribe Dexketoprofen Trometamol for it's fast action and effectiveness in reducing dental-related discomfort.
4. Dysmenorrhea (Menstrual Pain)
Many women suffer from severe menstrual cramps, which can severely impact their daily lives. Dexketoprofen Trometamol provides rapid relief, helping to alleviate cramps and associated symptoms such as back pain and headaches.
5. Migraines
Migraines are known for their debilitating impact on individuals, with symptoms ranging from intense headaches to nausea and sensitivity to light. Dexketoprofen Trometamol has proven to be effective in managing migraine symptoms, offering quick relief from pain and associated discomforts.
Benefits of Dexketoprofen Trometamol
1. Rapid Onset of Action
One of the standout features of Dexketoprofen Trometamol is its rapid onset of action. When taken in its oral solution form, it can provide pain relief in as little as 30 minutes. This makes it an ideal option for acute pain management.
2. Effective Pain Relief
Dexketoprofen Trometamol is highly effective in managing various types of pain, including musculoskeletal pain, dental pain, and post-operative pain. It's ability to inhibit the production of prostaglandins ensures that inflammation and pain are kept in check.
3. Minimized Side Effects
Compared to other NSAIDs, Dexketoprofen Trometamol is known for causing fewer gastrointestinal side effects. While no drug is entirely free from potential side effects, this medication is considered to have a safer profile when used under proper medical guidance.
4. Versatility in Treatment
From migraines to dental pain, and from musculoskeletal pain to menstrual cramps, Dexketoprofen Trometamol has proven effective in a wide range of painful conditions. Its versatility makes it an essential tool in pain management for both acute and chronic conditions.
5. Oral Solution Form for Ease of Administration
The 25 mg oral solution form of Dexketoprofen Trometamol is particularly convenient for patients who may have difficulty swallowing tablets. This form ensures rapid absorption, enhancing the quick relief that the drug provides.

Modern diagnostic tools can make a big difference in TMD treatment. Ask potential specialists about the technology they use. This might include digital imaging or computer-aided diagnosis tools.

Today was good! I’m a little overwhelmed!
3:30 am posting because I’m feeling slightly wound thanks to today being a whole day, but it wasn’t a bad day?
Short version: bunch of appointments, thankfully all online, but after last week being stress central this was tolerable. I got my MMJ eval and it was quick and easy and if anything I over prepared because I’m so used to not being believed and having to back myself up with data. (Which I have to gather and keep for myself because medicine is apparently just a free for all where no one communicates with each other through the online app they have specifically so they can all access data about me from each other! Neat!)
Anyway that was a major relief and I was ready to cry because they said that this should work really well with the conditions and symptoms I have. I’ll probably write something up on the process later (because I would’ve liked a plain English walkthrough of what to expect but that’s ok) but I got my card from the state, which is all digital now, so welcome to the future, I guess.
We headed out to a pretty well reviewed and priced medical dispensary in the area and had a long info session on what would work best for me and landed on some low dose (for now) capsules and gummies. Then we got fried chicken because I’d had enough for one day and went home to see if it would work.
I took a capsule, ate my chicken, and waited. They did advise taking it with a fatty food (could’ve been peanut butter or avocado or anything really; we just got chicken for its uh, health…improving….properties….yeah that sounds right) It took like a solid hour and change to notice anything, and the effects were pretty minor.
I kept trying to explain what was happening to Delade but it was a very subtle thing and hard to get across. Basically the calmest I’ve felt in ages (bonus) and like a slight tiredness, like when you’re tired at the end of the day but not exhausted or like drugged tired if you take something to get to sleep and it hits hard. Just a nice soft calm feeling.
I got brave and tried adding in an extra half a gummy (watermelon flavor!) and that hit much more quickly and mostly just added to the soft feeling. Trying to put it in better words, it was like the different between laying directly on the hard floor, or laying on a puffy blanket on the floor. You can still feel the floor, but it’s much more comfortable than otherwise. I didn’t really feel particularly loopy other than finding a few things funnier than they probably actually were. I think I would compare it in drowsiness more to like…if you’ve been given an opioid after surgery or dental work or something, it’s kind of more like that than feeling just knocked right out. I always felt like these kinds of things gave me a sort of “cozy,” safe feeling while still being conscious enough to do some light things, and this was similar. Everybody’s different though so I might be a weirdo.
So yeah, it does work! I wasn’t expecting like a 100% change in pain levels, and this will definitely take some fine tuning to get right, but there was a difference for sure. I had the makings of a nasty headache after being stressed out all afternoon, which didn’t seem affected much by anything I took so that’s interesting. If I hadn’t had the headache I probably would have attempted some comic work but staring directly into a screen felt like a bad idea. In any case the sharp edges of the pain in the rest of my body got filed way down and I’m pretty amazed overall.
I know this can work now! So I can try again tomorrow! Hopefully with less stress headache so I can get a better gauge on how it actually feels! And hopefully try to draw.
So now I just have to figure out how not to feel weird about this talking to various doctors. Some recommended it, some I can imagine being less positive, but I think the anxiety about being judged is mostly in my head.
Anyway! It was a good experience overall, both the process for getting the card and actually trying the drug itself. If it’s something you’ve been looking into and have questions I can try and answer based on my (admittedly brief) experience so far. I only know how things work in NY, but being pretty anxious I get how it can feel more enormous to figure out when you don’t know the whole scope of a thing or what it’s like to actually do.
This entire thing makes me cackle btw because in fifth grade I won some DARE essay contest in school and I think got some kind of gift card I spent on art supplies, and a hat with the DARE lion mascot thing on it, which I think I still have and should probably start wearing for maximum dumbassery.

Emergency Dental Care: What You Need to Know in Times of Urgency
Dental emergencies can occur unexpectedly, and knowing how to handle them is crucial for your oral health. Whether it’s a severe toothache, a knocked-out tooth, or a dental abscess, Emergency Dental Care is essential to prevent further complications and alleviate pain. In such situations, seeking immediate treatment from an Emergency Dental Clinic can help you get the relief you need while avoiding long-term damage.
What is Emergency Dental Care?
Emergency Dental Care refers to immediate treatment provided for dental problems that require urgent attention. Dental issues can arise suddenly, and the discomfort they cause can sometimes be unbearable. Common dental emergencies include severe tooth pain, trauma from accidents, broken or cracked teeth, and infections that can spread rapidly. If left untreated, these conditions can lead to more severe problems, including tooth loss or systemic infections.
Unlike routine dental appointments that can be scheduled in advance, Emergency Dental Care is meant for situations where swift treatment is necessary to save a tooth or manage significant pain. An emergency dentist is trained to handle various dental emergencies promptly and effectively, ensuring that you receive the necessary treatment as quickly as possible.
When to Visit an Emergency Dental Clinic
It is important to know when to seek urgent dental care. If you experience any of the following, you should visit an Emergency Dental Clinic immediately:
Severe Tooth Pain: Persistent, throbbing pain in your tooth can indicate an infection, cavity, or abscess that needs urgent attention.
Chipped or Broken Teeth: Accidents can cause fractures or breaks in your teeth. If you experience this, it’s vital to get dental attention to prevent further damage or infection.
Knocked-Out Teeth: If your tooth has been knocked out due to an accident or trauma, quick intervention can sometimes save the tooth. Make sure to keep the tooth moist and visit the clinic as soon as possible.
Abscesses and Infections: If you notice swelling, redness, or pus around your gums or teeth, it could be a sign of a dental abscess. These infections require urgent care to prevent them from spreading.
Bleeding Gums: Unexplained or persistent bleeding from your gums can signal an underlying issue that may require immediate attention.
An Emergency Dental Clinic will have the necessary tools and expertise to treat these conditions quickly, providing relief and preventing further damage to your teeth and gums.
Benefits of Visiting an Emergency Dental Clinic
One of the main benefits of visiting an Emergency Dental Clinic is the speed with which you can receive treatment. Unlike general dental offices, emergency clinics are set up to accommodate urgent dental cases, meaning you won’t have to wait for days to get help. This prompt care can help reduce pain, prevent complications, and increase the likelihood of saving a damaged or knocked-out tooth.
Moreover, emergency dental clinics are usually open during non-business hours, including weekends and holidays. This availability makes them a reliable choice when you experience an urgent dental issue outside of regular office hours.
How to Prepare for a Visit to an Emergency Dental Clinic
To ensure the best possible outcome during a dental emergency, it’s important to be prepared before heading to the Emergency Dental Clinic. Here are a few tips:
Preserve the Tooth: If your tooth has been knocked out, rinse it gently with water (without scrubbing) and try to place it back in its socket. If that’s not possible, store the tooth in milk or a saline solution until you can see the dentist.
Avoid Painkillers: While it may be tempting to take painkillers for relief, avoid aspirin as it can increase bleeding. Over-the-counter pain relief such as ibuprofen is a safer option.
Contact the Clinic: Before visiting, call the Emergency Dental Clinic to explain your symptoms. This allows them to prepare for your arrival and may provide instructions on how to manage the situation before you get there.
Conclusion
Dental emergencies can happen when you least expect them, and knowing how to handle them is key to preventing further damage and ensuring swift recovery. Emergency Dental Care can make a significant difference in your oral health by addressing problems as they arise. Whether you’re dealing with severe pain, a broken tooth, or an infection, visiting an Emergency Dental Clinic can offer the relief and treatment necessary to preserve your smile and overall health. Don’t hesitate to seek urgent care if you experience any of the signs of a dental emergency, as prompt action can often prevent more serious complications.

Timely Treatment, Timeless Smiles: The Value of Emergency Dental Care
Emergencies come without warning, and dental emergencies are no exception. Whether it’s a chipped tooth, severe toothache, or an accidental injury, acting quickly can save not just your tooth but also your overall dental health. In this blog, we’ll dive into why timely dental care is critical, how a qualified dentist can make a difference, and the long-term benefits of prioritizing emergency treatments.
Why Emergency Dental Care Matters
Ignoring a dental issue can lead to serious complications. A minor untreated cavity can develop into a root canal situation, while a simple gum injury can become an infection. Dental care during emergencies is not just about relieving pain; it’s about safeguarding your oral and overall health. A delay can compromise your smile, your confidence, and your health.
Common Dental Emergencies That Require Immediate Attention
Severe Toothache: Often a sign of an underlying issue like decay or infection, toothaches should never be ignored. A dentist can identify the root cause and provide immediate relief.
Broken or Chipped Tooth: Quick action can prevent further damage and help retain the tooth’s functionality.
Knocked-Out Tooth: If handled promptly, a knocked-out tooth can often be re-implanted by a skilled dentist.
Gum Infections: Swollen or bleeding gums can indicate a severe infection that requires urgent dental care.
The Role of a Dentist in Dental Emergencies
During emergencies, the expertise of a dentist becomes invaluable. With advanced tools and techniques, a dental professional can diagnose the problem, provide immediate relief, and develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs. Skilled dentists focus not only on resolving the emergency but also on ensuring long-term dental health through preventive measures.
The Risks of Delaying Dental Treatment
Postponing necessary dental care can have far-reaching consequences:
Pain and Discomfort: Untreated dental problems often worsen, leading to unbearable pain.
Costly Procedures: A small issue ignored can result in more complex and expensive treatments.
Dental Health Deterioration: Prolonged delays can lead to tooth loss, gum disease, and systemic infections.
Aesthetic Impact: Dental issues can compromise your smile, affecting your confidence and appearance.
How Timely Dental Care Saves the Day
Immediate dental care ensures that problems are addressed at their root. Modern dental clinics are equipped to handle emergencies effectively, offering treatments like fillings, root canals, extractions, and more. By acting swiftly, you preserve not just your teeth but also your overall dental health and well-being.
Tips to Prevent Dental Emergencies
While emergencies aren’t always avoidable, good dental health practices can reduce their likelihood:
Regular check-ups with your dentist to catch potential issues early.
Practicing good oral hygiene, including brushing and flossing daily.
Wearing mouthguards during sports or high-impact activities.
Avoiding hard foods that could chip or break your teeth.
