chat guess what . THATS RIGHT . EMBER'S DRAWING MORE TAROT CARDS

Nine of Wands - Sparrow (@sage-is-in-fact-very-tired) The Tower - Gilded (Me!)

I have perhaps poked a couple people already to draw their Queue56 characters as tarot cards, and when I run out of people that i can push myself to message i will be begging you lot to hand over your characters

Information on the cards below the cut!

Nine of Wands: Resiliance, grit, last stand This card depicts Sparrow in their potion cave from cycle 1, holding a blaze rod in one hand while 8 larger blaze rods (the wands) are around them. When looking at references for this card almost all of them have the subject holding one of the wands so I decided to use that. I chose to make blaze rods the "wands" because Sparrow is a little potion guy. If you look closely at the card, you can also see that there is smoke/steam rising from their hand as the blaze rod is burning them. This is supposed to tie into the meaning of the card being grit and resiliance which also gives me the vibes of like endurance. He's also wrapped in vines and flowers because last stand made me think of like . they've been there for a long time . and sunflowers and white tulips are their favorite flowers !!

The Tower: Sudden upheaval, broken pride, disaster This card depicts Gilded being exploded by the end crystal in the final fight, with their cycle 1 house (coincidentally a tower), behind them. I specifically picked this card for the broken pride keyword, as hubris is the reason Gilded died in the way they did. The symbol in their torso is one of the letters on end crystals, which are made to spell out "Mojang", so the symbol I used is the G - for Gilded

Note: this much thought will NOT go into every card I draw, Gilded and Sparrow are simply characters that I know well (Gilded obviously being my own guy) and I'm not picking out the cards for other people's guys either.

I know the whole "Lets overthrow Midas" was a bit, but it's funny cause my character (Satyn) probably wouldn't help with the revolution but I have another MC OC who would volunteer to help in a heartbeat-

I decided to draw Lockette giving Midas a flower in Cycle 1 of Queue56! This was my first time participating in Hermbimas (a secret Santa hosted by @hermbi-discord ) it was so much fun to do all this and thank you so much for organising all this!

Day one of the server was so fun!

I’m so bad a combat on Java cause I played mainly on bedrock so now I must get used to how mobs work. I have nearly died to skeletons and Drowned with tridents more than anything else. Like why do they aim so we’ll help /lh

Will be editing my skin for the team now. More orange for me <3

Their horns change colour depending on what team they're on (currently sapphire) but purplr is the default.

dropping this over here cause you guys have seen both the guys now— but here’s the lil concept arts i drew of Midas and Rina for Queue56 when I was making their skins!

it’s nothing too crazy- but i went through a bunch of outfit tests for midas and very happy with the fit i landed on :D

So Queue56 right? I finally got my skin done! There's a lot of birds but I am not one of them for I am but a simple eepy Crab :D

Queue56 is so much fun but its making me giggle everytime I see death messages or another warden spawned in the chat and I look at what I'm doing cause like...

I'm just over on my little patch of land trying to make my house look pretty and avoiding every mob like the plague with my non existent fighting skills while there's 5 wardens running around lmao

I'm having a great time though, literally could not wait to get on after school today, everyone is so friendly and lovely!

The words trickle into their ears as they respawn - setting their spawn at the arena a forgetten step. They almost laugh at them. Sparrow more laughs at themself, wing ears drooping in amusement. "*Little* late for that, Rina."

They wiggle out of the blankets of the spawn bed, elytra getting tangled momentarily in the fabrics. "May have already beaten you to that particular punch." The muscles in their back tense and spasm - old aches running beside their spine, and a fresh new one blooming along his right shoulder. "*Did* beat me to that one- Ow-"

Sparrow huffs as they wiggle their wings free, rockets finding easy place in her hand. "I still don't know how I forgot i still had these on. Gods I'm stupid sometimes-" Is ferns small gumble as they glide back to the arena - finding easy place pertched beside Gilded.

Fine.

The comment doesn't get to them very much - it wasn't mean spirited. It was just Rina being, well, Rina.

Sparrow just doesn't like thinking about that very often.

Maybe they should, eventually.

But-

Killing their friends in combat might be the better option at the moment. Maybe they'll even be able to kill Rina at some point. It'd sure be funny.)
