Little late on posting this #womancrushwednesday but fuck it @officialmalicemcmunn posted in her story about being in an episode on the Steebee Weebee (@quangou) Show. I couldn’t sleep so I thought “Fuck it, sure”. And man, I’m so glad I did. I still have a little under an hour left to watch and I wish there was three more. I first discovered @officialmalicemcmunn on the internet probably 7 years ago now, and always thought she was hella babely. But I knew nothing of her life. Found her on Instagram a few years ago and my opinion of her only went up. Now, watching this episode, I am so god damn in love with her. She’s so inspiring and so fascinating to listen to. She talks a lot about her time dealing with addiction, county jail, living on the streets, etc. And any of you who’ve been following me for some time now have probably seen that post I made of the side by side pic of me mid addiction and then a current pic. Along with a very brief description of what my life was like during my addiction. It’s strange to me how easy it is for people to romanticize the whole wild child, drugs and partying life. From the outside looking in the false sense of “freedom” you get from hearing about that lifestyle is intoxicating. Hearing @officialmalicemcmunn stories though, it helps to bring light on the reality of it all. I think she’s a truly amazing human being for overcoming all that she has. And I hope one day I can make it out to LA, go to her club, and give her mad tips. And if I could be so lucky, maybe chill with her for a minute. Cause damn. 💋
