Its another one, based off of puss in boots the last wish. Mc is puss in boots, Eclipse is death (might change the design I got for them so far because so far I don't entirely like it), and Sun and Moon both replace kitty soft paws. Moon doesn't have claws, but Sun does. Probably will do a lore post of how Moon lost their claws.

idk why finishing this fought me so much but here’s your Puss in Boots: Last Wish au, featuring swk as Puss and macock as Kitty Softpaws because they’re divorced and quite literally no other reason.

+Perrito MK has Pigsy, but he is silly and went on an adventure to try and find the Great Monkey King(?) but doesn’t actually remember where he lives.

In my idea for Rotg and associated lore of the Shrekverse, I have come to the conclusion that Puss in Boots would most likely be an immortal Legend/Fable-like entity.

Not a full Guardian, but rather much like Jack Frost, a beloved Legend. A story children are told from before they can even remember.

Jack: (*notices a cat watching him. not uncommon since cats can often see Spirits*) Jack, floats over: "Hey, little guy! Why are you wearing shoes?" Puss, dressed warmly: "I should ask why you are not, amigo." Jack: (*first time meeting a talking cat*) :O!!

Puss and Kitty are a duo as ever. An orange male cat can only be so smart after all (Puss might just be the origin of that stereotype). Kitty Softpaws is the original "cat burglar". She has stolen many many many artefacts from the other Legends including; North's Naughty List, The Thousand Leagues Boots (anniversary gift for her mate),

Perrito is there too. He's not a Legend. Death just likes having him around. Also he might be a protective spirit in his own right - ghostly therapy dog. North wants him to be a Guardian asap. The little dog has been trying to convince Jack to receive therapeutic help for last century or two.

Jack adores the animal legends as close friends. Jack and Puss have caused enough havoc for both Bunnymund and Death combined that the Life and Death entities have agreed to a truce on the pair.

Death himself may have begun life as a mortal creature. He does not care to recall. He is a reaper now. That is all he chooses to be seen as.

(The loyal war hound of General Kozmotis Pitchiner waited eons for his master to return from his mission, only to come to wish that the man had died all those centuries ago. The forgotten pet becoming the first ever creature brave enough to strike Fear into the heart of the Nightmare King himself.)

So I talked about it like an hour ago but PIB:TLW inspired AU where Wei Wuxian is a guy not with nine lives but a constant, infuriating ability to just duck and weave around far too many near death experiences. The Lans, ones who deal in death, are getting increasingly frustrated by it. Whenever Wei Wuxian's inches away from getting his head cut off or drowned in a lake or falling from a cliff, there's a Lan waiting there, so ready to pounce and pick up this guy's soul. All of them come back empty handed and slowly losing their sanity - "I know we should not speak ill of the humans, but he literally had a broken leg and a blade through his side. How was he still fighting??!" - and one of the others in the break room or whatever is just like "ah...you were following Wei Wuxian, weren't you?" because all of them have had an encounter with him at least once. This goes all the way to the top, as well. Qingheng-Jun is still alive and he's like heard about this 'Wei Wuxian' guy but he's like "chill guys, it's just a matter of time before he slips up." Then Lan Qiren comes back after a long day and he just sits down wearily, stares at Qingheng-Jun and just goes "the axe cut his hair off because he sneezed at the right time." Well, now it's just this guy mocking death and they have to step in. So, they call in Lan Wangji, the one who deals with souls that try to escape after they've already been dragged into the office for processing, a man who is determined and unstoppable, who will follow those that need to be processed to the ends of the earth-... ...The one who goes to Wei Wuxian with full expectancy of a devious soul only to find a man who flirts through fear and has a genuinely good, very much alive soul.

idk how this cooked in my head but i can’t get it out after rewatching the movie

so obviously the others would be in this- i’ll get there don’t worry let me cook

tengen would obviously be a bit of a cocky bastard because he’s never been caught or killed, being the successful pirate he is, he considers himself almost untouchable. but he’s avoided death too many times— he was supposed to be dead ages ago. and then giyuu comes in.

giyuu was of course pissed off and agitated that some albino lil pirate bitch kept avoiding his clutches, so he decided to take him himself

then this scene is probably gonna be the first scene of this au, just them meeting in a bar

and the sizes would, of course, be swapped. tengens a big guy who is currently sitting next to the embodiment of death and the purge of the sea and doesn’t suspect a thing— because no way he’s taller than death! he’s not looking up at death, he’s looking down

just like he has been for his whole life

giyuu didn’t say anything (typical) and simply drank with him until tengen got a bit suspicious and felt uneasy about him. giyuu then pulled the same thing death did and told tengen “i’m a big fan- could you sign this for me?”

then pulls out the “wanted- dead or alive” thing and points to dead. then the whole fight scene happens, but it’s a bit different. tengen did land a hit on giyuu, successfully cutting giyuu in half at the stomach. but nothing happened. giyuu just simply put himself back together and acted like nothing happened, he simply said “you do live up to the legends.”

of course, tengen was confused and a bit worried now, giyuu didn’t care, he had an objective and he would complete it

the famous scene of puss actually getting touched by a blade would be blue, a bright yet dark blue— like the seas tengen rules, he just didn’t know that they’d be ruled by someone else (giyuu). also another overall headcanon for giyuu is that he’s a scary guy when he really wants to be

as for the others, i do have some ideas for them

these two are giyuu’s angel and devil on his shoulders, throughout the au, these two are helping giyuu with his decisions and even with fights! they’re like giyuu’s lil summons

i had to add genya my beloved

but yes, giyuu’s lil hell hound babygi— i mean super tough and cool is sanemi ft. two other lil hounds. genya just came along because sanemi made him(he couldn’t find a babysitter). but genya is very determined to impress his big brother.

instead of death being alone i just thought it’d be cool to have a little team for death hehe

also just found out i have a limit of ten images so ima just let yall find the 2019 halloween pics for kny (can be found of pinterest and google!) sigh 😔

but yeah, the rest of the hashira are helping tengen! most of em at least. himejina, kyojuro and muichiro are spirits that are simply wondering around, kinda sorta avoiding being put in the underworld (giyuu is going insane because of that)

and shinobu is a witch! she’s a very talented (and scary) one at that, she’s more than willing to help(may or may not have questions for death about a certain sister of hers)

mitsuri and obanai come together DO NOT SEPARATE! mitsuri is a kitsune while obanai has a big old snake buddy (with kaburamaru) (long ass name for a snake) also obanai did NOT want to go.

the kamaboko squad id also here!! but they’re the comedic breaks for this au, god bless their souls for that

and yes, giyuu shall speak spanish in this too, cause why not
