I'm trying Not to cause discourse about your tea poll and am asking these out of genuine curiosity. why did you specify jasmine and not just use "green tea" instead? also why not have "flower herbal" "fruity herbal" and "other herbal" or something similar? if you chose the options based on your favorites or what you had on hand though that would make sense

Imma be honest I put jasmine on there because I was drinking green jasmine and went "ougahhhghhg I love jasmine so much. I should make a poll out of this". Kwietna had that 10/10 atmosphere that no other teahouse can ever replicate, just because it was also a flower shop

It also had the most passionate staff I've ever encountered and a few times I went there just to listen to the owner ramble about whatever tea she got recently, moreso than to actually drink tea. Whenever I showed up and asked for 'whatever your favourite tea is, sir/m'am', whoever had a shift was always soooo happy to tell me about their favourite tea... once, two staff members started having a heated discussion about white tea vs pu'erh (don't put those two against each other, they're both wonderful.........)

The candles, paper lamps and the comfy, mismatched chairs, where I used to sob over high school work while still in my uniform, with the collar still fully buttoned up and the tie in a Windsor. The gentle ambient music playing downstairs. Freshly baked cakes, which the staff members always presented with such pride, because they baked them. The lit fireplace during winter. The owner composing bouquets for weddings, as I observed her work from upstairs with a warm cup in my hands. Reading Sherlock Holmes stories when it already got dark outside, knowing that, while all hell is probably breaking loose at home, within the walls of that teahouse, I was safe.

Don't get me wrong, I love the teahouse I go to these days, it's been open longer than I've been alive and I would riot if it were to close down, but it's a completely different atmosphere... fuck those renovations in the city centre, they literally killed my favourite place to have a little drink.

Also, I can't for the life of me find either that white tea/cherry blossom/vanilla combo or the pu'erh with pear anywhere now. Those two were my absolute favourites, the former was my go to spring tea and the latter, the perfect tea for autumn. Give them back to me, man.
