Eustace Winner is a character whose arc could not have worked like it did if Pheonix was the main character, purely because he’s a reasonably well adjusted adult, who would want to know WHY such an obvious child is working as a prosecutor. The second that kid left the room him and Maya would have turned to Verity, selected the subject line [Eustace Winner], and then broken her psychic locks to unlock his entire backstory.

thinking about an au (or post-canon hc but really far-fetched) where saiki ends up joining a theatre troupe somehow

basically, he gets fed up with not having any sort of safe space and not having many people he can be himself around, especially since his own HOME was never the place for that no matter how much he wished it was and he gets too tired of his family not respecting his privacy and his friends ruining every moment he gets to himself

and he decides that no matter WHAT gets in his way, hes going to MAKE a safe(-ish, i mean he still cant just be psychic around people for fun but he can prob be a little more lenient and express himself) space for himself

so he considers a few things like joining a school sport or club, but he still sucks at controlling himself in sports and doesnt want to let himself get any sort of popular at school where people he KNOWS are, which he realizes is the biggest part of the issue and he really wants a place where he can almost have a new start i guess ? like a vigilante with a secret identity who only comes out at night except its just a teenage boy who wants to be himself for a few hours a day LMAO.. he wants somewhere where nobody has any preconceptions about him at all and he can't embarrass himself by being "out of character.." and can just wear his germanium without worrying, so he eventually picks up theatre outside of school

he finds a job probably somewhat of a commute away from hidariwakibara so he can be sure (bad move buddy, NEVER think youre "sure") that none of his pet nuisances will ever see any of the shows hes in.. maybe at a youth theatre or a theme park ?

he probably does mostly just singing and dancing because i would think hed be a little more anxious to actually ACT on stage.. singing is different than SPEAKING, especially for him..

he doesnt tell any of his friends he got a job and just says hes been busy whenever they ask where hes been, so they start getting suspicious/concerned when hes NEVER at home when they come to see him and is way more uncharacteristically stubborn about being too busy to hang out (i mean cmon, usually he cracks after like ONE "please")

somebody he works with probably happens to go to/transfer to PK and starts greeting him at school once he starts forming relationships with his coworkers, so some of his friends see and ask him who they are and he has to tell him he works with them.. (he cant lie cuz theyre literally at his school and someone could just ask them)

i imagine he would still refuse to tell them WHERE he works, so someone like aiura or teruhashi or both probably befriends his coworker and finds out stuff from them..

So I have this for my own sanity...

In the distant future of the False Twins AU, the family tree is something like:

Damian and Delia have one bio kid in Silver, who eventually leads to all the future human family members (Lilith, Myst, Adrien, Dianthus, Ceaser, Nicole, and Richie).

Blue, Spot, and Alpha are the clone Mews that become part of the family later on.

Mewtwos lay eggs asexually in the case of this AU, and one egg can have multiple mon. As the hatched babies age, they will grow into their final forms of their hybrid evolutionary lines, so, for example, if someone was a Bulbasaur fusion, they'd eventually grow into a Venasaur fusion.

Peach is an Ampharos fusion (Psychic/Electric). She adopts an alt shiny Mewtwo Pepper (Psychic), who shares DNA thanks to time-space shenanigans, but also has Raisin the Zorua (Psychic/Dark) fusion a few years later. Peach is in a relationship with Pheonix the Infernape.

Down the line, Pepper has her own twins - a full Mew named Sunshine (Psychic) and a full Mewtwo named Sunset (Psychic).

Indigo is an Absol fusion (Psychic/Dark). Indigo is mates with Hades the Obstegoon and Latios (I tried to find his name but I had no luck please help). Their kids are Punch the Buneary hybrid (Psychic/Normal), Coral the Togepi Hybrid (Psychic/Fairy?), and Rose the Happiny hybrid (Psychic/Normal). At this time, Indigo has no cannon grandkids.

Ash is a Lucario hybrid (Psychic/Fighting). He's Ace and has no romantic partners. His first kid is Red the Tepig hybrid (Psychic/Fire) followed a few years later by the triplets, Ember the Pichu hybrid (Psychic/Electric), Cinder the Cottonee hybrid (Psychic/Grass?), and Coal the Pancham hybrid (Psychic/Fighting?).

From Red, we eventually get Ashy, who is a Hisuian Cyndaquil hybrid (Psychic/Fire?).

Ash also has at least one adoptive baby in Lucario, but he may have others as he's likely to bring home and keep eggs.

*DEEEP BREATHE* And THEN we also have Damian who is brothers with Giovanni, though that isn't revealed yet in the timeline.

In the time of Adult!Triplets but before Delia and Damian have adult grandkids, Peach becomes a Pokémon professor, Ash is a champion/gym leader (if he's a type specialist please let me know), and Indigo is a Coordinator. At least until they reach the first 100 year age mark, they try to maintain balance between human and pokemon sides, but later they sometimes go one way or another.

There's also an Archie in there somewhere, but I'm unsure who that is.

The first generation Mewtwos are the only ones that lay eggs as they're dna is more closely tied to their pokemon side in this instance. All the other Twos have natural births

Ainalda is described as bright, airy energy reflective of the "Light Arts" and resides in the "Astral". Her energy can also be quite intense to be easily picked out in a crowd. her spirit is around 800 years old, and is around 2 feet high with double the wingspan (my pheonix portrayals can warp their shape and given that she is described to be able to shift into different smaller birds or the silhouette of a human I am sure that is accurate for this spirit too)

also I reread her color description and whoops her tail feathers were supposed to be amber and yellow tipped- I did still try and make the amber prominent with the red being the pop color to pair with her fiery red eyes that were mentioned.

Ainalda is a deeply caring spirit with a lot of love to give, and thus is very much drawn to companionship.

she is "incredibly balanced between her empathy and compassion". She is able to connect with others for that necessary level of understanding without it being detrimental to herself in the process. she is skilled in balancing her emotions, thus "outbursts are unheard of". she is very good at open communication particularly with her feelings. she is able to approach it in a tactical, pragmatic way, and keep a healthy level of distance for a level head, making certain not to become or appear cold.

She doesn't like to work alone, and is very much a social bird who is fond of small or larger groups.

she is excellent at respecting boundaries! and specializes in regrowth and healing.

Ace Attorney x Pokémon crossover au.

The main character is Dick Gumshoe (age 30) and his Gumshoos, setting off on a Pokémon journey after he loses his job as a detective. Miles Edgeworth (age 15) with his Riolou and Rockruff (named Pess) travel alongside the former detective since Miles had an internship where Gumshoe used to work, and they became unlikely friends.

Later, Franziska von Karma (14), steel type gym leader since she was 11, joins them on their journey when Edgeworth earns her badge and Gumshoe swears to rematch her once he’s stronger. ((She has a bisharp, Scizor, Klinklang and a Machop she is training to use a whip)

Miles and Gumshoe’s rivals, (Pheonix Wright- age 15, and Mia Fey-age 19 respectively) are both even greater Pokémon Prodigies than Franziska is.

Phoenix’s partners are a doduo and literal real life Moltres. Mia Fey (former psychic gym leader)’s team consists of Galade, Gardevoir, Medicham and Espeon.

Manfred von Karma, the champion of the region is mean and shady. His partner is Steelix.

Everything is your normal Pokémon anime shenanigans, Gumshoe getting made fun of for being “too old to start his journey”, getting badges, rivalry to friendship shenanigans, etc.

The problem is, Mia is sure something is up with the Champion, and that he probably has something to do with the evil group calling themselves “Team Perfection” terrorizing the region. No one believes her though, and she begins to isolate herself in her search for the truth.

Gumshoe, being a former detective, tries to help her out of pitty. The day before his third gym battle though, he receives a call from Mia. It just says “von Karma… get von Karma… I was r… *click*”

Then in the middle of his battle, Edgeworth receives a call and frantically ends Gumshoe’s battle.

“I..It’s miss Fey. She…. They found her body.. evidence of Flash Canon and some sort of large biting attack…”

Maya Fey (13) and Franziska are the main suspects for Mia’s death. Maya because her partner is Mawile, and Franziska because of the call Gumshoe received. The two groups must team up to discover the truth, but are on opposing sides due to their personal ties to the suspects.

FLAMES JOURNEY CHAPTER #15 graduation,first dungeon

taiga seeing the large delphox still dripping wet pass out in his nest with a chuckle. he lets valdederong sleep and the next day lunch rolls around valdederon having been wiped out fron the previous days antics he gets up and grumbles missing his evry day cup of coffee after waking up., he heads out to the mess hall and looks for somthing strong to wake him up settling on some tomoto berry juice while reading up on some news that was just posted to a news board in the mess hall after awhile he finishes drinking the juice and then eats a bit of meat loaf that was left over from the previous nights dinner. soon he heads to the training room to continue his training to become a pheonix hawk learning from zelania the many dangers of mystery dungeons the problems they cause what they do to pokemon who get traped in side what it does to them even normaly timid and shy pokemon becoming near insane hyper agressive . and they continue the trainin even as zelania passes him shes surprised greatley as he stays to learn more.

zelania-- actualy hes an outworlder.. and a pokemon hes a good guy though some times beyond blunt and rude.. but even when hes beeing as blunt as a wood hammer strike hes never evil or malicious about it.. though he does say hes done some . evil things in his past life witch i do not believe in the slightest.

valdederon chuckles as they take cover as some ferral pokemon begin to come out of a room ahead of the hallway they were walking in. they manage to sneak past and valdederon looks at the mission they picked up witch is to find a pikachu who got lost and sperated from his pack as they had passed by the dungeon just after it formed.

valdederon-- says here they dont know what floor the little pikachu is on keep yoru eye spealed draggo.

drago nods as they are currently on the 3rd floor of the dungeon a damp and dimly crystal lit cave full of moss and vines. the slodly trudge on keeping a observant look around thier surroundings eventualy finding the crying pikachu badly cut battered and cornered by 5 ferral scyther

valdederon---shit this isnt good.. draggon use draggon tail to shatter some rock and cause a dust cloud ill rush in and tend to the pikachu youl have to deal with the scyther untill hes healed .

draggos fists clench as the pikachu is clearly young maybey no more then 10 or 12 years old at best zelanias face going white as she observes the sight sings of the small electric mouse having been battered all over thd cave red smears across the walls ciealing floors along side scuff marks. with in moments a gre cloud of dust violently errupts as draggon unlesshes a powerful draggon tailc ratering the floor and valdederon darts through it sliding between 2 scyther and picking up the pikachu his back slaming against the wall with a loud thwack echoing off the walls causing him to be dazed for a second but he pulls out bandaging up the pikachu and giving him an oran berry

valdederon--- your save now reekoon.. your pack sent us to rescue you eat these they will heal your injuries but youl probably have scars

the pikachu nods weakly grabbing the berry and nibbling on it and then beginning to hork it down hungerly having been stuck for sveral days eating the bitter and yuky tasting moss and vines then drinking from the offered water skin as valdederon sets him down and covers him with a blanket to help drago take on the 3 remaining scyther a show 3 hours later the fight is over reekoon the young pikachu asleep in draggos arms and zelania coming over shaking sligning scared and worried.

valdederon--- you ok zel.. you look abit rocky .

she whimpers softly

valdederon--- lets wait to return to the guild i think we could all use a break ill set up a camp fire and get some meat roasting . good thing were all omnivorus…

zelania lays down shaking heavily having never been on an observation run before as usualy others would do it but those who have done it before have moved out of the guild

draggo--- youl have to get used to this kind of stuff as an observer hun. some dungeons can be far worse then this.. its not uncomon for pokemon to die in a dungon..ferral and non ferral pokemon both..its your job as an observer to report progres or failure of teams like ours its not an easy job to bear.

draggo---seems like shes been worried sick with you in a dungeon. dont worry mam we were carefull… up untill we found the little mouse.. surrounded by scyther… we had to jump in with out a full prooof plan.. but it worked out.

the psychic pokemon teleport the pack of pikachu in and smile as they all rush over to reekoon and picking him up giving valdederon and draggo both a coin pouch of 250 mewn each and a pile of berries as well

valdederon--- thanks but you guys shouldnt give us thi smuch money we were happy to rescue your little one.. he still needs abit of medical attention hes super weak and dehydrated.. and abit malnourished

they all shake thier head at the payment bit but nod knowing that valdederon is right and they head to the medical wing when evergreen shows up to take the injured pokemon up

this because i love a redemption but no one is saying they dont want to figure out how to cure them and bring the high five heroes back but the rat grinders are actively on the side and effectively under the control of A GUY WHO IS ACTIVELY TRYING TO BECOME A GOD OF CONQUEST AND RAGE. the Mall fight showed us there’s no efficient way to reason with them in the rage form. Like with all due respect, even if they focused ALL their energy on Porter and Jace, Reuben with a 9th level Psychic Scream (which deal up to 14d6) isn’t something that The Bad Kids can just shrug off. The Bad Kids are getting HURT. The Rat Grinders aren’t pulling punches because they’re classmates, why should The Bad Kids be at a disadvantage by not being able to hurt the 6 combatants on the field that will at every chance so far go for them.

Came to see peoples reaction straight after the episode aired and saw so much genuine annoyance from people that tbks were killing their enemies. the same enemies that they’ve had the whole season? Oisin sent his grandma the FULL BLUE DRAGON to kill (or at least GRIEVOUSLY injure them) in a storm he summoned literally AN HOUR before they enter the gym? but the fun stops when the rat grinders are downed? downed and defeated doesn’t mean dead forever. not done talking ab fhjy actually so i'll just say some of you guys who go on about how you could've done better themes and narrative arcs can't even think critically about the one in front of you.

i do wish that the other bad kids had interacted with their foils more this season because it was fun seeing them trade insults, but i also dont think it would've done much for them. i mean, people forget the tbks did try to turn reuben early on (they literally saved him from grix even though it was his fault he showed up trying to kill people). adaine thought oisin was cool and tbks were onboard with thinking maybe he wasn't that bad, and then he sent his grandma to murder them and their entire school. fabian tried to get an 'in' with ivy and it nearly cost him a genuine relationship with a character who had a way better chance of helping them figure things out without the risk of being betrayed. kipperlilly had an ego-driven hateboner for riz since BEFORE the rage stars and killed her own party member in cold blood just to stick it to kristen, and you're telling me that she could've been my little ponyied into giving up her chance to squash the symbol of all her inadequacy? buddy and maryann are the only rat grinders who havent fucked them over meaningfully and guess what? they're not thrilled about having to kill them- they're actively avoiding targeting them! almost like theyre capable of distinguishing between someone not on their side and someone who's proved to be a threat!

brennan made it pretty clear that trying to befriend trgs in their rage forms was futile and actively punished it ingame. you can have your opinions of that, but it definitely had a narrative point: if you get rage starred, you cant be 'this isnt youuuu'd out of it. you think ONLY of rage, and rage can't be reasoned with. it's arguably worse than death, bc at least someone can revivify you and there's no lasting consequences. think about how hard brennan was trying to push the ihs into taking rage tokens. he knew exactly how dire he'd made the consequences and that was on purpose. the season has no stakes if you can just talk your way out of being rage starred bc tbks could save each other easily. the whole climax literally can't happen if trgs arent being evil bc porter can't be a living god of rage without followers. tbks hating trgs isnt a flaw in the story: it IS the story.
