Psalm 130:5-7 (AMPC). “I wait for the Lord, I expectantly wait, and in His word do I hope. I am looking and waiting for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, I say, more than watchmen for the morning. O Israel, hope in the Lord! For with the Lord there is mercy and loving-kindness, and with Him is plenteous redemption.”
Psalm 130:5 (CEV). “With all my heart, I am waiting, Lord, for you! I trust your promises.”
“Wait for the Lord” By In Touch Ministries:
“God loves you—you can trust Him to do what is best for you.”
“Trusting God’s timing can be incredibly difficult when everything within us cries, “Do something!” When we’re dealing with a painful or challenging situation, we want action, so waiting for God feels passive.
To wait for the Lord means to pause for further instruction while remaining in the present circumstance. It is a purposeful, expectant focus on God—a choice to be still and quiet in our heart while listening for His voice and watching for His intervention (Psalm 46:10).
At times, God will change a situation to redirect us, or He will motivate another person to give guidance. However, always remember that any advice or direction we’re given must align with the Lord’s will as revealed in His Word; otherwise, it is not from Him.
The first step in waiting for the Lord is submission to His choice of how and when He will act. What are you hoping God will do? Are you seeking Him, or are you seeking only the thing that you want from Him? Since He alone knows what is best for you, let go and trust His decision.”

Psalms chapter 130
1 (A Song of degrees.) Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.
2 Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
3 If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
4 But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
5 I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
6 My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.
7 Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.
8 And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

THOUGHTS:
=======================
God will show us our wrongdoings, but we must be the ones to say okay, Father, I see what you are saying. Let me change it, and no, change isn’t easy. Even accepting that we offended the Holy Spirit is a lot because we, as believers, try not to offend him. Still, when it does happen, we must immediately stop and tell the Holy Spirit, I am sorry, and he will forgive us. But we won't do everything right, but we have the perfect guide to show us what to do, which is the Bible.
The Bible can show us exactly what we are missing and what we have done wrong so we can get it right, but to learn what we need, we must read the word of God and a lot of us are afraid to read it because we don’t want to change, we talked about this a few weeks ago but to change we must do this in God strength, and we must have faith In him,
Psalm 107:2 says, “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy.
God will save us from our enemies and problems, but we must understand it at his timing; David wanted God to come down and save him several times. Still, he knew God was doing this at his time and will. We must be patient through this, and many times, we say he's not saving me because I did this or because I did that, but if you remember David, he did a lot wrong. However, God still showed mercy, and he will show mercy to us; how many times can you look back over your life and see God hand over your life? It's because he loves you. He wants to show us mercy even when we don’t deserve it. That’s grace!
Psalm 130:1-2 Out of the depths I cry to you, Lord; Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.
David cried to God with deep sorrow. He wanted God to know, do you hear me? Do you let your ears be attentive to my cry? A lot of times, we think he's not showing us mercy. Sometimes, we look for something huge, but God is a God of simplicity sometimes. He will show us mercy in his way, and no matter how much we cry, he sees our hearts and what we want. Sometimes, all we want is to have our way,but even in that we must wait for God.
God is saying today, I have you in this season because I need you to change. I have you in this season because I need you to grow. Some of us won't grow until we hit rock bottom, and God is right there saying, you're fine; I am here. Trust in me. Trust the process. Do you trust him in this process? Do you trust him when things don’t feel the greatest?
• Psalm 10:1 O Lord, why do you stand so far away? Why do you hide when I am in trouble?
• Psalm 13:1-2 O Lord, how long will you forget me? Forever? How long will you look the other way? How long must I struggle with anguish in my soul, with sorrow in my heart every day? How long will my enemy have the upper hand?
• Psalm 16:1 Keep me safe, O God, for I have come to you for refuge.
Even if we have offended the Holy Spirit, he will still be there to pull us through our season, and even in that he is there; we must see him, we must know that he’s right there to carry us through, and sometimes it doesn’t feel like it because we are so engulfed in our problems look at David when he was going through several times he didn’t let what he was going through stop his communication with God he allowed it to draw him closer.
See, with all those verses; he still call on the name of the lord; he didn’t allow what he did to block him from searching for God, and we frequently allow what we do and say to stop us from being close. God wants us to be the same way, to keep pushing towards prayer ,mediate, fasting & drawing close because, in everything we do, he still wants to be there, but he wants us to want to be there through it all and not shrink back.
***Today, we learned that the Holy Spirit wants us to learn to communicate with him through our hardship and not give up because we have done something wrong. Many of us stop and drawback because of the shame of doing something wrong, but God wants us to stay calling out for him even in our mistakes. David often called out because he wanted God close to him; he knew there was nothing he could do alone.
Psalm 16:8: I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.
He said I know he’s right there beside me. I am not shaken; we must have this kind of confidence in our relationship with God that I know he’s there, and he won’t ever leave us; we often allow ourselves to get so shaken by situations that we don’t take into account that God is there we just think he leaves when things get tough for us, but He doesn’t, God wants us to know he’s not leaving us, but when we offended the Holy Spirit or when we sin we need to clear the air with him immediately and say Holy Spirit I’m sorry for offending you God I’m sorry for sinning please forgive me , we shouldn’t let the sun go down with sin on our plate , don’t allow yourself to go another minute knowing you done something you shouldn’t. Go to God today and clear the air so you can be in the right standing with God. ©Seer~ Prophetess Lee

PRAYER
========================
Heavenly Father, please help us to clear up anything we have done wrong with you, lord. Forgive us of the sins we have done, lord. We love you and never want to offend you, so we give you everything. Lord, we ask that you help us not to stay in our sins but to ask you to help us recognize our sins and to come to you immediately to clear our slate; lord, we don’t want to do anything without you; we ask you to help us to stay communicating with you regardless. in Jesus Name Amen

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES
SATURDAY 14
UNDERSTANDING HELPS YOU APPLY THE WORD CORRECTLY
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
📖 O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart (Proverbs 8:5).
Pastor Chris Says
━━━━━━━━━━
Understanding God's Word is crucial to applying it effectively in our lives. The Bible says, "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding" (Proverbs 4:7). The Lord Jesus Himself emphasized the significance of understanding in Matthew 13:3-8 when He told the parable of the sower.
In His illustration, He explained that as the sower went forth to sow his seeds, they fell into different grounds. Some fell by the wayside and the birds of the air came and picked them up, and they had no chance to grow. The Lord Jesus however highlighted the problem of this group of people to be their lack of understanding of the Word they heard: “When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side” (Matthew 13:19).
The practical application of God's Word hinges on your understanding of it. You can't put to work God's Word that you don't understand. Without understanding, it becomes challenging to implement biblical principles and teachings effectively in your daily life.
It’s one of the reasons we encourage people to study this devotional, Rhapsody of Realities, every day. It serves as a powerful tool for enhancing your understanding of God's Word. In it, we present biblical truths in simple and clear communication, making it easier for readers to not only comprehend but also apply God’s truths in practical ways. By breaking down scriptural thoughts into understandable terms, Rhapsody of Realities equips you to live out your faith confidently and purposefully each day.
2 Timothy 2:15 says, "Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth" (AMPC). Prioritize understanding God's Word so that you may confidently and faithfully apply it in your life, knowing that through understanding, you can fully embrace and act upon the truths of Scripture.
🙏 P R A Y E R
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Dear Father, thank you for the wisdom and understanding you grant me through your Word. Thank you for the Holy Spirit who grants me deep insight into the truths and mysteries of the Kingdom. Thank you for granting me a discerning heart to comprehend and rightly apply the principles of the Kingdom in my daily life, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
📖 FURTHER STUDY:
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Psalm 119:130; The entrance of thy words giveth light; It giveth understanding unto the simple.
James 1:22-25; But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
[23] For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
[24] for he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
[25] But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
2 Timothy 2:15; Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Proverbs 4:7; Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: And with all thy getting get understanding.

Finding the will of God for your life Part 4/8
Is it an event or a lifestyle?
Lifestyle Versus Event
Today's society is very event led; life seems quite dull unless we are doing something. Recent politics have emphasised performance related pay. At the same time many modern churches have a stringent programme of activity. The result of this can inadvertently lead to a person’s worth being measured by what they do. It can also make us believe that God is ‘programme-based’ in his love for us. We often associate God’s will as an event, i.e. doing this or that, going here or there, apply for this job, marry that person and so on... ‘God’s will’ can include specific instruction, but more often it is to do with relationship, lifestyle, and nurture.
Relationship
It is God’s will for us to have an intimate and close relationship with him.
Psalm 46:10 “Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
Jeremiah 30:21 I will bring him near, and he will come close to me, for who is he who will devote himself to be close to me?’ declares the LORD.
Knowing God’s will does not necessarily equate with activity. Sometimes God withholds his plans from us so that we will master the art of waiting. Waiting on God is an essential ingredient to knowing God’s will. Many people want to bypass the waiting and get straight into the doing. For some people, doing nothing is a waste of time, for God our inactivity is a vital element in getting to know him.
Psalm 119:166 I wait for your salvation, O LORD, and I follow your commands.
Psalm 130:5 I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word, I put my hope. My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.
Activity without intimacy is of little importance. It’s not uncommon for people to want to know God’s will more than they actually want to know God! Activity is an event; relationship is a process. We cannot effectively hear God’s voice or do God’s will unless we have first learned the art of knowing God. It’s like having the benefits of sexual pleasure without the security of a loving relationship, or like a farmer reaping a great harvest without first labouring over the crop.
Knowing God’s requires intimacy, time, and commitment. There are no shortcuts to doing God’s will. Many Christians fall away because they have become bored, impatient, or distracted. Others spend so much time trying ‘to do’ God’s will that they simply burn themselves out.
Isaiah 40: 29 He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
But those who wait on the LORD, shall renew their strength.
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
Lifestyle
Doing the will of God is much more about being the right person rather than doing the right things. People often focus on life-events rather than the process of a sanctified life. God is much more interested in ‘who we are’ than he is in ‘what we do’. It’s easy to get caught up with Christian activity and neglect the importance of Christian character.
It is God’s clear will that we:
Be financially responsible (Luke 12:21)
Live by faith, not by sight (Rom 1:17)
Live a life of sacrifice and service (Rom 12:1)
Renew our minds (Rom12:2)
Transform the way we live (Rom12:2)
Fellowship with other believers (Rom 15:32)
Give ourselves fully to God (2 Cor 8:5)
Do the best job for our employer (Eph 6:6)
Stand firm, and remain standing (Col 4:12, Eph 6:13)
Mature into strong believers (Col 4:12)
Have a servant attitude (Phil 2:5)
Avoid sexual immorality (1 Thes. 4:3)
Live a pure life (1 Thes. 4:3)
Rejoice in every circumstance (1 Thes 5:18)
Keep our eyes on Jesus – the perfect example (Heb 10:7, 12:2)
Persevere in the work (Heb 10:36)
Do good to all men (1 Peter 2:15)
Understand that God’s will includes suffering (1 Peter 4:19)
Be faithful in prayer (1 John 5:16)
Most of these verses are direct references to the ‘will of God.’ There are, however, simply hundreds of other commandments on how we should live our lives. It is God’s will that we honour our parents, tell the truth; that we should be kind, generous, and gentle. We should be calm, temperate, and full of compassion. The list goes on and on.
It is clear that our attention needs to be on our character and personal development rather than ‘activity or events.’ It is God’s will, first and foremost, that we live a life that is a true reflection of the Lord Jesus Christ. God wants us first of all to be pure, blameless, and holy.
Amen
Personal Prayer
In Part 5 we see the need to be nurtured in discipleship.

9th June >> Mass Readings (USA)
Tenth Sunday in Ordinary Time
(Liturgical Colour: Green. Year: B(II))
First Reading Genesis 3:915 I will put enmity between your offspring and her offspring.
After the man, Adam, had eaten of the tree, the LORD God called to the man and asked him, “Where are you?” He answered, “I heard you in the garden; but I was afraid, because I was naked, so I hid myself.” Then he asked, “Who told you that you were naked? You have eaten, then, from the tree of which I had forbidden you to eat!” The man replied, “The woman whom you put here with me— she gave me fruit from the tree, and so I ate it.” The LORD God then asked the woman, “Why did you do such a thing?” The woman answered, “The serpent tricked me into it, so I ate it.” Then the LORD God said to the serpent:
“Because you have done this, you shall be banned from all the animals and from all the wild creatures; on your belly shall you crawl, and dirt shall you eat all the days of your life. I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will strike at your head, while you strike at his heel.”
The Word of the Lord
R/ Thanks be to God.
Responsorial Psalm Psalm 130:1–2, 3–4, 5–6, 7–8
R/ With the Lord there is mercy, and fullness of redemption.
Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD; Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to my voice in supplication.
R/ With the Lord there is mercy, and fullness of redemption.
If you, O LORD, mark iniquities, Lord, who can stand? But with you is forgiveness, that you may be revered.
R/ With the Lord there is mercy, and fullness of redemption.
I trust in the LORD; my soul trusts in his word. More than sentinels wait for the dawn, let Israel wait for the LORD.
R/ With the Lord there is mercy, and fullness of redemption.
For with the LORD is kindness and with him is plenteous redemption; and he will redeem Israel from all their iniquities.
R/ With the Lord there is mercy, and fullness of redemption.
Second Reading 2 Corinthians 4:13—5:1 We too believe and therefore we speak.
Brothers and sisters: Since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, I believed, therefore I spoke, we too believe and therefore we speak, knowing that the one who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and place us with you in his presence. Everything indeed is for you, so that the grace bestowed in abundance on more and more people may cause the thanksgiving to overflow for the glory of God. Therefore, we are not discouraged; rather, although our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this momentary light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to what is seen but to what is unseen; for what is seen is transitory, but what is unseen is eternal. For we know that if our earthly dwelling, a tent, should be destroyed, we have a building from God, a dwelling not made with hands, eternal in heaven.
The Word of the Lord
R/ Thanks be to God.
Gospel Acclamation John 12:31b-32
Alleluia, alleluia. Now the ruler of this world will be driven out, says the Lord; and when I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw everyone to myself. Alleluia, alleluia.
Gospel Mark 3:20–35 It is the end of Satan.
Jesus came home with his disciples. Again the crowd gathered, making it impossible for them even to eat. When his relatives heard of this they set out to seize him, for they said, “He is out of his mind.” The scribes who had come from Jerusalem said, “He is possessed by Beelzebul,” and “By the prince of demons he drives out demons.” Summoning them, he began to speak to them in parables, “How can Satan drive out Satan? If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand. And if Satan has risen up against himself and is divided, he cannot stand; that is the end of him. But no one can enter a strong man’s house to plunder his property unless he first ties up the strong man. Then he can plunder the house. Amen, I say to you, all sins and all blasphemies that people utter will be forgiven them. But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never have forgiveness, but is guilty of an everlasting sin.” For they had said, “He has an unclean spirit.” His mother and his brothers arrived. Standing outside they sent word to him and called him. A crowd seated around him told him, “Your mother and your brothers and your sisters are outside asking for you.” But he said to them in reply, “Who are my mother and my brothers?” And looking around at those seated in the circle he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of God is my brother and sister and mother.”
The Gospel of the Lord
R/ Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.

New International Version Hope in the LORD and keep his way. He will exalt you to inherit the land; when the wicked are destroyed, you will see it. New Living Translation Put your hope in the LORD. Travel steadily along his path. He will honor you by giving you the land. You will see the wicked destroyed.
King James Bible Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.
Job 17:9 The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.
Pulpit CommentaryVerse 34. - Wait on the lord (comp. vers. 2, 5, 7; and Psalm 27:14; Psalm 62:5; Psalm 130:5; Proverbs 20:22). The injunction is repeated so often because of man's extreme impatience and unwillingness to "tarry the Lord's leisure" (Prayer-book Version of Psalm 27:16) trustfully and confidently. And keep his way. The way in which he would have them walk - the way of righteousness (comp. ver. 3). And he shall exalt thee to inherit the land (see ver. 29, and the comment ad loc.). When the ungodly are cut off, thou shalt see it (comp. Psalm 52:5, 6; Psalm 91:8). Doubtless with some satisfaction. As the "ungodly" spoken of are employed in watching for an occasion to "slay" the righteous (ver. 32), these last can scarcely witness their removal from the world by God's providence without a feeling of relief.

STEPPING INTO OUR DESTINY
No one wants to make another trip through the wilderness. This is not a time to walk in circles. We are to walk with a true goal, aim, and purpose, making the most of each occasion, because we know the time is short (see Ephesians 5:14-17). Paul, the apostle, instructs us to walk purposefully toward one true goal -- God's PURPOSE for our life (see Philippians 3:12-16).
No one has time to wander around the mountain of defeat and unbelief; we are to ask, seek, and knock (Matthew 7:7) until we come to understand God’s purpose for our life so we will be able to bear fruit for God’s Kingdom in the earth. We lay hold of our Christ identity as we get ready for God to move us out of the confines and limitations of what we have experienced in the past.
We seek wisdom and revelation from the Holy Spirit to carry out our calling to advance the Great Commission. We see God join together both favor and faith, releasing us into a faith that believes God to the point of action. (see Hebrews 11:1-6)
No matter how confused and confounded we have been in the past, this is the day we can clearly find the exit sign and end the wilderness wanderings (see Psalm 119:105 and Psalm 119:130). We can begin to walk in our PURPOSE as we seek first the Kingdom of God. As we rise up and take our promised land, we will quickly discover that His promises are: Yes, Yes!
We must desire to fully finish the course--in such a manner as to hear the Lord say, "Well done, good and faithful servant."
OUR HIGHEST GOAL: TO ADVANCE THE KING IN HIS KINGDOM
Notice how Paul prayed that we would walk worthily in Colossians 1:9-11,
"For this reason we also, from the day we heard of it, have not ceased to pray and make (special) request for you, (asking) that you may be filled with the full (deep and clear) knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom (in comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God) and in understanding and discernment of spiritual things, that you may walk (live and conduct yourselves) in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him and desiring to please Him in all things, bearing fruit in every good work and steadily growing and increasing in and by the Knowledge of God (with fuller, deeper, and clearer insight, acquaintance, and recognition).
(We pray) that you may be invigorated and strengthened with all power according to the might of His Glory, (to exercise) every kind of endurance and patience (perseverance and forbearance) with joy."
Our highest purpose must be to advance the KING in His Kingdom. Our prayer each day must be, "On earth as it is in Heaven" (see Luke 11:2). Just as Christ could say, "I only do that which I see My Father doing," we must have clear focus too.
It is imperative that we maintain a deep walk in the Word of God -- by affirming and meditating on the scriptures in Paul’s epistles that help us understand our Christ identity -- this will bring about the freedom we need to draw near to the Lord. Each day we must seek to draw ever nearer to Christ, seeking to yield, ever deeper, our will to His will so we will be effective in bearing fruit that remains for His Kingdom through our Christ calling. It is as we enter and experience and spend time in His presence -- that we are changed into His likeness (see 2 Corinthians 3:18).
THE VOICE OF GOD
The Holy Spirit is opening the ears of believers to hear more clearly the Voice of God. All who are seeking to hear will hear the Lord's voice clearly. "Be still and know that He is God" (see Psalm 46:10-11). Behold the Heavens--they will clearly speak the Lord's message. The release of revelation of God’s purpose for your life will increase, therefore, ask for your spiritual ears and eyes to be opened (see Ephesians 1:17-18).
