Hateful F/O Imagines

🫀 Your F/O finds out about an insecurity of yours. Instead of comforting you about it, they make sure to point it out every chance they get, including to other people.

⛓️ ^ If it's about your body, they start to comment about how that area looks in your favorite clothes. If it's your personality, they start to bring it up anytime you annoy them or anytime they need to see you knocked down a peg.

🫀 After an argument with your F/O, if you go on dates with them, they ignore you in favor of something on their phone. No matter how much you try to cater to them, they scoff and only respond dryly. They don't care if you cry.

⛓️ If you scare easily or believe in the paranormal, your F/O starts to mock you for it, mentioning hearing things in the night and purposefully creaking doors or opening windows at night to let the cold in. Instead of comforting you during your fear, they mock you incessantly, telling you how stupid and childish you are for ever believing in such/for getting scared at all. Bonus points if they don't admit to it at all, or don't until you cry (and do it laughing).

🫀 If you have separation anxiety, maybe your F/O mocks that, too; you don't do something they want, and they talk about how their ex always would listen to them, or that they'll leave you if you don't obey and listen. No amount of pleading ever does anything but encourage them.

⛓️ If you have a Cluster-B disorder, your F/O makes offhand comments about it to make you feel insecure and desperate for their approval. Taking time to yourself suddenly becomes "narcissistic", doing anything they don't like or that doesn't benefit them becomes "sociopathic", trying to leave or speak back becomes "psychotic". No matter whether they actually believe it, they know it upsets you, and that's what matters.

🫀 If you have trauma that they know about, your F/O mentions it during an argument just to trigger you: "this is why ___ left", "maybe you deserved it", etc. No stone left unturned, if it means that they win.

Imagine your f/o hyping you up to wear that one outfit that you’ve been a little too self conscious to wear. The one you bought on a whim but could never find a reason or a special occasion for. They can't keep their hands off of you. F/o who stares at you via the mirror, watching you get ready. Drinking in every detail as they dish out compliment after compliment. 'You look stellar...marvelous...vibrant.' Not giving your mind any chance to torment you with self conscious rambles.

Here’s a list of things you can add to your journal if you decide to start one:

Write down how you and your f/o first met

Add pictures, doodles or drawings of your f/o

Add doodles of things that remind you of your f/o or relationship

Write down any dreams or daydreams you have about them

Write down a playlist or list of songs that make you think about your f/o

Write down scenarios that go with a certain song

Buy cheap stickers of your f/o off Etsy or something and put them in there

Write about your s/i if you have one and how your s/i met your f/o

Write letters from your f/o or write letters to your f/o

Write about things you both enjoy doing with each other

It's fun to do cause if you're ever feeling down or anything, you could look at the journal and remind yourself that your f/o loves you <3
