I finished reading Friday from the Good Omens book. It was hilarious (Shadwell hating all Southerners and by inference living on the North Pole PLEASE) but what I mainly remember is Crowley being mentioned on the second=to-last page of the chapter and me instantly swooning.

Like. All it requires is a mention. Seven letters and I'm a goner. I'm such a fool for Crowley.

Who is also a fool, by the way, both him and Aziraphale are fucking dumbasses not them funding Shadwell and his Smith army through sheer incompetence.

Anyway. Where have I been, you ask?

I have been very ill, I answer.

Worry not, maggots, I'm usually ill. This time it's a cold. As for Tommy the haematoma, he's still there, but I'm rather more occupied with the cold.

I haven't eaten proper food in around 20 hours. I haven't eaten any food in around... 14 hours. 15? 16? Why, you ask? I was asleep. And my intestines feel bleh.

I decided to drink flavoured sparkling water for energy, before realising too late that it is sugar-free and calorie-free. No energy from that, I'm afraid. Do I blame Famine? Yes, Sable, I'm blaming you.

This isn’t abandoned right??? I was really excited 😢

I’m sorry for the lack of activity on the blog but rest assured that this game hasn’t been abandoned! I’m still working on it and have actually made some pretty decent progress in the last few days.

While I don’t want to force my personal life onto all of you, I have to admit that April’s been a pretty rough month for me. I found out that my cat has kidney disease (luckily it was found very early on) so that ended up being my main priority. I also got pretty ill around a week ago and am just starting to feel a bit better.

I’ll work on being more active on this blog throughout May! I’m going to be dropping a progress update pretty soon so hopefully that will help ease any worries.

folks, dont do this. like, one, my a/n on coping skills thru the last like five updates make it abundantly clear that i am going to Major Medical Bullshit and if there is ever a good reason to put a creative project on hold, its to recover from almost dying several times in a short span

but also, there is never any reason ever at all full stop, to include a line in ur fic comment to this effect. if you assume something isnt going to be updated ever again, you keep that to urself before slapping it at the author is a damned good way to ensure it doesn't get touched again. its passive aggressive and shamey, and while i dont think it was the intent of the commenter to read that way, it still fuckin sucks. the rest of the comment was lovely appreciation for my smut and characterization. it could have easily started with "i gotta say" as the lead in instead of the above and it would have made me excited and joyous to touch this project again now that im starting to feel like a whole human again, after, you know, almost dying a lot

And honestly, don't worry too much. We're not going to hate you. I actually started caring about the greens (especially Buttercup) when they get involved in some heavy shit like this. I only read your fanfic for the Reds, I never cared about the Greens nor the Blues (especially the Blues). And that's not because you didn't write them well, it's just that they always were meh to me. xD

But the last chapter you did really made me care about Buttercup and sympathize with her. So, what you're doing is a good thing for her character (even though it was so painful to read! xD 😭).

So, don't worry and do what you do best. 🙂

And this is an Ask, so I should ask you something! 🤣: So, you said you don't know when you will update after chapter 8. Does that mean chapter 9 is not written yet? Because I remember you saying you had written until chapter 11.

Another question: When exactly do you think you will release chapter 8?

Hi! Love to hear you've become more invested in the greens! They're a close second to the reds for me - it's the blues I struggle with, which I think is clear in my writing. I do need to work on it. But yeah I'm with you, they reel me in the least too, however I want to get better at writing them in a way that does peak my own interests let alone anyone elses! Yeah I have written up to chapter 12 I do believe.. I am not 100 percent on that though as I haven't actually sat down & looked at any of my writing in a long time. I'm tackling tumblr first, then ao3 & ff.net! Then I'm going to look at updating. I'll be updating Prophecy first. I can't give you an actual date, or any idea of when it will be, how soon it will come etc.. But it will be soon. As I said in my previous response, things have been tough personally for me at the moment, but I'm trying to find my joy again & one of the ways I am doing that is to try and get back into writing. I miss it deeply. I'll try to be a little more forthcoming with general updates from here on out anyway. Thanks for sticking around regardless! MF

Hello my dear magical friends!

I apologize for disappearing for these last few days. I got caught up with some personal stuff and didn’t have much time to hop onto social media.

I do come with good news though! While I am a little behind on answering asks, the same can’t be said for the game itself. I’ve made a pretty big dent in the writing portions of chapter 1-2 and have even managed to finish up a few of the outlines for the later chapters! Overall, we’re actually a bit ahead of schedule.

I’ll work on getting the remaining asks out as soon as possible - as well as try to be a bit more interactive with you all (even if it’s just through update posts like this 😅).
