Maybe not something *super* complex like the outfits for proag rang but something simple like just having the bug standing there yk? Kinda like that line of craftable beetle decor but instead of being ridiculously (and kinda needlessly) hard to be able to craft the decor recipes could be more simple like “10 of x beetle” it’s a small thing sure, but I think it would give the battle beetle’s some much needed love and attention! I love insects and the battle beetles, but my biggest problem is that it’s basically a dead end for pretty much 99% of the beetles and their owners and you end up putting in way more than you actually get back. Hell even event shop beetles are basically useless outside of basic battles, alongside every other beetle that doesn’t have a craft recipe which is basically all except a very small handful. Because of that it’s basically pointless trying to keep and breed beetles that don’t have craft recipes-Which sucks because I love them! But there’s pretty much no wider site value to them, and the tokens for the beetles sell better than the actual rare variants of said beetle because as it is you basically sink more time and money into the beetles than you really get back"

Speaking of beetles, I saw someone suggest a minigame that could help with beetle crafting and breeding and now I actually kinda want to see it in the game.

Screaming into the Void - Gamer Edition

This has nothing. Nothing to do with any fandom I'm currently part of. This is just a scream into the void of the ether where no one listens or people just make jokes but I DON'T CARE. I'm Sick and Tired of games that come out with ONLY MALE PROTAGONISTS. I get wanting to tell a specific story. I write fanfic. I've written actual real books that I've published. I get it. But it's 2025 for godsakes. Why can't we have the option of a female protagonist? I LOVE old school CRPG's. I love lore and worldbuilding and isometric RPG's and I just want to play good games. But I will not play as a male protag. I'm a girl. I'm sick of it. Why are ALL NEW GAMES that come out Male centric? Every single goddamned one it feels like. And you'll cry out "it wasn't realistic to be a girl in the medieval ages and have a title and renown and stuff." My brother/sister in Christ (agnostic)---IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE 100% REALISTIC TO BE A GOOD GAME THAT STILL KEEPS THE SPIRIT OF REALISM IN A SPECIFIC TIME PERIOD. OR better yet. CREATE A WORLD OF YOUR OWN WITH IT'S OWN RULES.

Of Ash and Steel--BRAND NEW PLAYTEST. Has all the bells and whistles. Good foundations. Exactly the sort of game I crave. MALE PROTAG. Survival Games: Green Hell, The Forest, Sons of the Forest, The Infected, Mist Survival, Osiris New Dawn--Only male players

I've played BG3. I've played BG, Pillars of Eternity, Pathfinder, Neverwinter Nights. I don't like Mass Effect because I'm not a fan of space as much as fantasy and I don't like the way the companions are little more than support npcs. Meh. Just....I want some games to play. I don't care if I can't customize my character necessarily but I just want the option to play as a girl. I hate playing as a guy and I won't buy games where I do. Women play the same games as guys. We might not be as numerous but we are here. And most men want to play as woman to stare at their assets anyway. We both win with decent looking Female Protags.

And for those who would be like "you wouldn't complain if it were only Female protags" and you would be incorrect. In this day and age we should have the option in most games to pick which path we want to follow. Hell, make it harder for me if I'm a girl to do things. That's realistic isn't it? I just want a game to play. There's a desert of RTwP RPG's out there. Not ARPG, CRPG.

Sorry.

However. Not all Single Player games need Co-Op. That is my hill. Learn how to enjoy playing by yourself. It's so much more freeing.
