Charlie’s Angels is by faaaaaaar Dick’s favorite spy movie. And he isn’t only a fan of the movies, having the dvd set for all the seasons of the  70’s show. Just don’t mention to him the 2019 atrocity. Some may say they’re brainless movies, but there’s much more to it than the lack of a deep plot. It is about the style, and the action, and over all, the fun. He believes those movies changed the landscape of cinema of the time, bringing back the hard-hitting action that had been lacking in films from that period, and did it  in the most entertaining way possible, with iconic fighting scenes he often tries to reproduce while in his own patrolling duties. Also… It’s sexy, okay? The whole vibe of the movie is sexy, and Dick fights just as good as he fights sexy. This movie is an iconic piece of cinema, of culture,  of the 2000s and he’ll die on that hill. 

When it comes to spy movies, Jason doesn’t strive far from his own older brother’s preferences,  choosing the more eccentric and fun kinds over the sometimes too serious and boring traditional movies. It’s honestly a break from his own, very often, broody self. Even he needs a break from that once in a while. Watching Kingsman gave him thrills he hadn’t got in a while, sitting on the tip of his chair at that fight scene at the church. It's gritty, bloody and dirty (in more ways than one), with tons of fun dialogue and situations he just hoped would happen to him at least once *hello, princess Tilde*. And even with all of that, the spy characters are not missing the classic polished,  fancy feeling of classic spy movies. 

Not your typical spy movie, per se, but Tim really loves The Imitation Game. The whole amazing premise of the movie revolves around an apparently unbreakable code that, if cracked, could win England the war, in a game of cat and mouse versus a powerful - nazi - enemy. He admires the brilliancy of Alan Turing, one of his actual real life heroes, for not only cracking the code and but also realizing that his job went much further than just that: they can’t let the enemy know they have the upper hand, so they have to sacrifice some things, some people, so they can save a much greater number. It feels too much like real life to him. And of course, Tim solved that problem by himself way before any character in the movie did.

Damian believes the best of espionage is found in  old spy movies, and no better example than the earlier 007 ones. Not that he thinks the recent ones are bad, but the classics are always classics, and they feel much better written, filmed, and portrayed in general, than the newer ones. He likes the gadgets, and how things are less about high tech, and much more about hands-on skills and combat. The  Sean Connery era is his absolute favorite, with the best movie, in his not so humble opinion,  being a toss of Goldfinger and From Russia With Love. Moreover, he loves that he gets to watch those movies with Alfred and his father, it’s like their own bonding, no pun intended, family thing.

eggsy knew it wasn't solely on her to withhold the information that she was alive . he knew who helped her in recovery did it for her good , but it didn't mean he agreed to it . if she was targeted once , she could be targeted once again . hell , he was lucky that he didn't burn along with his friends and jb that he lost all the time ago . it took him hard losing his mates , even losing jb was hard .. but roxy had always been a different story . tilda had tried to bring some kind of joy back to him with a dog that looked like jb , but it was never a true replacement ... just like she was never a true replacement for roxy . partly , he believes she knew that . with the ultimatum that he must marry her , he was tying the knot with the princess .

their marriage never was simple , easy , they hardly knew one another and it was easy to get away with the kingsman being his cover up practically in every situation when he just wanted some time away . roxy coming back sucked up more and more time than he really thought was possible -- he'd stayed around for a couple days after the late night reunion . it was within those days that he felt his heart pull hard again for the woman who he always admired from day one . with her snippy comments , confident teasing ... how could he ever really think tilde was the one when there had been ... her ?

with the death of everyone he'd cared about practically , he was forcing himself to just drive harder . there was brief relief when they found harry , but it was short lived when he knew that this kingsman team would never feel complete without her . eggsy is watching his screen , admittedly only hardly as the dark room sinks around him with the dim lamp on . ' all i could think about was if something happened again . ' he admits softly . granted he would have been notified of this from the others , he still had that worry that seemingly always crept up on him when either of them was sent apart from the other . old thoughts were hard to shake at this point and with the small promise to always keep in touch every few days , a week had passed and there was nothing but radio silence that he knew of .

When Roxy managed to wake following the explosion, it had been a month. It was a conscious decision following her waking to stay well under radar, just in case they needed an extra hand from the shadows. But she was recovering then, not that useful as a field agent, and so dedicated her time to train, to regain ability. Percival understood, at least. Someone knew she was alive, months after she'd managed to be cleared from initial recovery, under the strictest conditions that he doesn't mention so. Yet even as her father, she was worried he'll decide to disclose it anyway; what more someone that wasn't blood?

But Eggsy was different; she should have remembered Eggsy was different, even if he was impulsive and passionate about things he believed deserved their own spotlight. She could have made him promise and that would have been enough. Well, perhaps she had half a mind to, halfway to her recovery, but the news of his engagement and marriage to Princess Tilde was more than enough reason for her to back away, to consider that perhaps he'd changed. She didn't even follow the news proceeding the event, what bureaucratic movements he might have done, if he was still in Kingsman. Nevermind the slightest pang that came through her as she saw him get married; everyone moves on. It happens.

His receipt of her was quite a surprise, then, moreso his existence in Kingsman. Then again, she should have expected he'd stay; he did have a knack at being a suave spy in a suit, after all.

Eggsy's half-lidded eyes were briefly noted before focusing on his words, humming softly in response as he disclosed the timeline. The way it seemed, he was being sent out somewhere, arrangements and all. "You shouldn't have been training so hard," she policed softly, finding it a fitting time now, "pushing limits ought to have a limit, too." She didn't mind him falling asleep on her, if he would; she wasn't too far behind. "Where to?"

And all around him were reminders of Harry, which made him grieve his mentor’s loss all the more. Harry was still very much alive in the house --- or at least, his memory was --- and Eggsy found his mentor’s intangible presence comforting. So much so that he had changed very little since moving in. He was certain a psychologist would have a field day with his keeping the house as a shrine to Harry, but he didn’t give a damn. Eggsy knew that when he was ready, he would put most of Harry’s things in storage, keeping only a select few as reminders of the man who’d made such a difference in his life. He simply wasn’t ready yet.

I want a Kingsman spin off about the task force at the Swedish court’s press office assigned to keep Prince Gary’s “extracurricular activities” secret from the public.

I want the poor spokes person to lie through their teeth about why the Queen’s husband wasn’t at her birthday celebrations at a press conference.

I want all the Jedi Mind Trickery of “No, that obviously wasn’t a helicopter landing on the palace’s roof. That would be insane. What you saw was clearly an optical illusion created by the solar panels installed last year.”

I want an intern running through the corridors after scrolling through their Twitter feed and seeing the Youtube video of Eggsy in the middle a pub-scene-type fight in an office in Hong Kong that someone recorded with their phone and uploaded.

I want said intern to burst into a conference room saying “A friend sent this to me! It’s already viral!” and someone goes “Activate Code Brogues!”

(And yes, I want them to have named it that just to annoy Eggsy, because goddamnit, he deserves it!)

I want to see them work day and night to erase the video from the internet and make up the most ridiculous and Not At All watertight alibi for what Prince Gary did at the time that video was taken.

I want people to wonder why on earth the Court’s press office hires so many hackers and tech people. I want to hear ALL the conspiracy theories.

I want the head of this Task Force to have stern meetings with Harry about NOT BLOODY SENDING THE FUCKING PRINCE OF SWEDEN TO NORWAY! People recognise him there! YES, FOR REAL ARTHUR!!

I want them to infiltrate conspiracy blogs and forums and make up the most insane theories so that normal people will dismiss the more sane and true ones as well.

I want Daisy to be part of the conspiracy blogs monitoring team!

I want at least two people working there to hit the Best Selling list with their amazing spy novels (and not get fired because of it).

I want Eggsy to be a little shit about the small things (like wearing Kingsman cuff links to the Nobel banquet) but be mortified by the major slip ups (like when he misplaced a lighter at the opening of parliament).

(I want Tilde to play absolutely innocent about the cuff link incident.)

I want Eggsy and Tilde to buy these people the best Christmas presents every year.

I love Kingsman, the first movie, except for one thing. Princess Tilde has no character. I haven’t seen the second movie so I’m sure it’s all better there. But in the first one it is disgusting how she’s treated as a piece of ass, literally. This lady is supposed to be the crown princess and they really cheapened her and disrespected her with the whole sex-if-you-let-me-out thing. It’s disgusting and tarnishes a really good movie.
