Kingsman: The Secret Service was theatrically released 10 years ago today!

@fandomtrumpshate is an online fanworks auction, designed to raise money for progressive nonprofit organisations that help and support marginalised people.

You can offer any type of fanwork that can be delivered digitally, including:

* written fanworks (fic, poetry, remixes, etc.)

* digital art, which includes but is not limited to gifsets, manips, moodboards, etc.

* podfics

* fanvids (including fancams)

* fan labour, which includes but is not limited to betaing, Brit/Japan/America-picking, or offering specialist expertise.

Don’t feel like creating something this time around? That’s totally fine! You can bid on an offering during the bidding period, or simply share the info with your friends.

writing advice for characters with a missing eye: dear God does losing an eyes function fuck up your neck. Ever since mine crapped out I've been slowly and unconsciously shifting towards holding my head at an angle to put the good eye closer to the center. and human necks. are not meant to accommodate that sorta thing.

He had saved the world at 17:58, but Eggsy still had to collect Daisy from daycare at 18:00.

Merlin manipulating traffic still had him screeching into the car park at 18:05.

“Late again, Mr Unwin,” the director said sternly. “We charge extra for every minute you’re late.”

“You forgotted me again,” Daisy said as Eggsy carried her and her backpack to the car.

“No way I’d forget you, Daise. Savin’ the world’s busy work though, love.”

Daisy rolled her eyes at him. “You’s a tailor.”

“Sure I am.” Eggsy winked at her.

“You sure you know what you’re doing, cuz?” Jamal asked. He still didn’t quite understand how his mate had managed to get an apprenticeship at a posh tailor shop.

“Probably not a good idea to insult him while he’s got pins near your bollocks,” Liam advised, safe in the corner.

“You like being on your knees for me, bruv?”

Eggsy ‘accidentally’ stuck Jamal with one of his pins.

Jamal yelped.

Liam couldn’t help but laugh.

Jamal never listened.

Eggsy mumbled around the pins in his mouth, something about wishing he’d never offered to make these idiots suits for their wedding.

Harry was going to throttle whoever introduced Merlin to tumblr music polls.

“What you need to remember is that the majority of users weren’t even born when the songs came out. They aren’t voting wrongly, it’s just that their perspective is different to yours,” Harry said, quite reasonably, he thought.

“Yes but what’s so special about The Chain? Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great song but I cannae understand why it’s sweeping every tournament it features in. It crushed Talking Heads’ Psycho Killer!”

“Think you need to make your own poll,” Eggsy suggested.

Harry was going to throttle Eggsy.

Tilde took a deep breath, stood tall and proud. She looked at her parents, their smiles were as fake as hers. It was the King’s birthday and they were due on the balcony. Only there was somebody missing. The Prince Consort.

“This will not look good,” Papa said.

They’d already delayed their appearance by an hour.

The doors burst open then, and there Eggsy was. A servant helped him into his jacket, another fixed his hair. He was limping a little, makeup covered a bruise on his cheek.

“Sorry I’m late.”

His smile was blinding, and now so was hers.

Merlin had expected to die. Instead he was alive, alone and in agony. He had hours before sepsis would take over and then he could finally die.

He heard a sound and turned his head. It hurt. He tried to laugh; all that came out was a wet cough.

He was hallucinating. Maybe he was septic and this could be over.

“If ye’re here to kill me, I suggest ye get on with it.”

Gazelle smiled down at him, the harsh sun formed a halo behind her.

“I’m not here to kill you,” she said. “I’m here to save you.”
