Much like vampire bats, Man-Bat isn't nearly as fond of human blood as he is towards the blood of birds and livestock. With the exception of Gotham Zoo, there are few alternatives to choose from so he's usually very hungry when he goes on the attack...

i'm pretty sure there are similar hc to this but the headcanon i have about mr alfred pennyworth -one that you can pry from my dead cold hands- is that he's some kind of eldritch creature that took interest in humanity a few centuries ago and decided to become part of human society.
he was intrigued and fascinated by them so he chose to live among them, as one of them. he doesn't wish to alter anything majorly; yeah he's been part of wars and whatnot, but he mainly enjoys watching and observing how humanity grows all on their own.
alfred pennyworth was not his first name, but it's the one he's come to cherish the most because of the memories that come attached.
the batclan know yet not know. they CHOOSE not to know. cause alfred is alfred.
there have been huge uncanny valley-esque moments, but it's wtv cause alfred. is. alfred.
like when the lights always flicker when alfred is immensely displeased with someone. or how alfred always seems to understand the message, no matter how vague, or even non-verbal, you are about it. or how alfred always seems fine no matter how many years have passed. or how strong and able bodied he seems to be. or how he's always there, just when you need assistance. or how he knows where everyone is at any time. or how you would think he'd be a bit forgetful in his old age, but the man remembers every tiny detail, from things like mentioning you liked art to things like what color were the socks he laid out for one of his charges. or how even the gotham rogues know to steer clear of that butler because last time one of them tried, well, they haven't spoken on the subject but arkham staff say that they have been quiet ever since, only occasionally scream for no apparent reason when left alone for too long.
alfred is alfred, any bat would say. and that's what it is, really. alfred is alfred.
extra: when you go to the museum, you can see small little depictions of him in old paintings and even writings about a creature who took to mankind and made it its mission to nurture and care those who were down on their luck and help them achieve a higher purpose. alfred was there for many others before the batclan but he will admit that the batclan is so far who he has become fondest of.

So like, Tim has definitely helped Jason by being arm candy to some Gotham underground event, right?
Like, gang leaders and crime lords would have to meet up sometimes to negotiate and prevent all out wars. Black market weapons deals, auctions, gambling dens. There’s places where the leaders of crime would meet and socialize. And you can’t not have a date to some of these. It’s a status thing, having a pretty young thing hanging off your arm.
And Jason’s a good guy and wouldn’t make one of his minions be subjected to all the objectifying talk that would no doubt be flying around. And he would not sexually harass his employees and his arm candy would have to be touched and kissed to make it look real.
Cass can’t do it- one, shes too scary and isn’t great at looking meek and harmless, and doesn’t like to lie. Jason and Cass both love it when he brings her places where he needs a scary hot bodyguard, cause someone always tries to fuck around, underestimating her, but playing arm candy? No.
Steph is out after the second time she broke character and broke a creep’s nose for talking about her chest. It was in metropolis, thankfully, so it was more funny than anything, but Jason can’t risk it at other events. He loves Steph, but that woman has no chill.
Dick can do it in a pinch- he’s not too bulky to be able to look harmless, but Jason doesn’t love doing it unless it’s an emergency. He knows that while Dick doesn’t mind people appreciating his body, some of the comments about Nightwing’s ass veer towards too objectifying for him sometimes.
Kori is too obviously alien and Roy doesn’t like being around drugs. Biz is out for obvious reasons, and Artemis is too intimidating. Damian’s a baby and like hell could Bruce be his arm candy. Ew.
Tim though.
Tim can do it. Tim is is good at it. He’s small and cute and fits perfectly under Jason’s arms or on his lap. He’s like a chameleon and can look like as many different people as he needs to. He’s freaky great at compartmentalizing and sliding into characters, so lewd comments and offers just slide off, or are met with a grin and a flirt. He’s observant and can watch Jason’s back, even when sitting on Hood’s lap with a hand running up and down his thighs.
Sometimes though, to avoid suspicion, things go a little far. More than once, Hood has had Tim panting and squirming on his lap, Hood idly fingering him while talking about a weapons deal or cocaine shipments. Tim’s been on his knees tucked tight between Hood’s legs, so they could get details about a human trafficking ring. He’s even been splayed out naked on a table, getting fucked in front of strangers.
Tim’s not usually as good at paying attention to his surroundings when those things happen, but that’s alright. Jason keeps them both safe.
Luckily, Hood has a reputation of being possessive of his things, and Tim’s various personas always count as Hood’s thing, so he doesn’t need to be shared.
If sometimes Jason gets a little…handsier with Tim than strictly required for that op without talking about it beforehand, well, that’s his business. And if Tim keeps agreeing to be Hood’s arm candy even though the last 10 events found Hood’s fingers, cock, or both, getting pressed inside Tim even though all he actually needed to do to blend in was to be there looking pretty, that’s his business too.
😍😍😍 this is so good!!!! the way that whenever jason needs a partner for crime lord meanings he doesn't even ask for volunteers anymore he straight up just goes to tim now because yeah they work well together but also because jason is crossing his fingers that he and tim will get to fuck again. sure the whole mission is nerve wracking because of the incredibly high stakes and risk of getting set up or shot at but also- jason might get his dick sucked or get to finger fuck tim's tight little cunt. and for one whole night he'll have a lap full of tim drake grinding and rubbing against him while kissing his neck- it's a pretty good trade off all things considered

Oops my last ask got sent in the middle of me writing it, sorry 😅😅
I was mostly done, but, I was saying:
Jason would think Tim is Bruce's favorite, and Tim would think Jason is Gotham's favorite. Both would be pretty upset about it, no one would be happy for a while.
Also, since Bruce basically agreed in the name of all bats to reside in Gotham, Bludhaven getting Nuked would be the City saying "Okay Nightwing, back to your nest". Like it's Deathstroke, yes, but under Gotham's influence.
Jason would cave instantly and explain Bruce's deal to Dick. Dick would, understandably, be massively pissed at 1) the deal being made without his consent 2) not being informed about it and being indirectly responsible for the death of a lot of people. He obviously respects the deal from then on because he loves Jason, but he always resents having his wings cut out.
Jason would also feel extremely guilty for the Bludhaven incident. Maybe he goes after Slade, maybe not, but now he has the weight of all of those deaths on his shoulder. Is his life worth theirs?
Since the deal, any of the Bats that spends too much time outside of Gotham starts to feel weakened by the pull of the City. Jason has it particularly hard, and whenever he gets too far or spends too long outside Gotham he looks progressively more corpse-like (pale skin, dead eyes, coagulated blood ...)
That's basically all I have! What are your thoughts? Especially on how would Bruce and the rest of the Bats react to it.
Hi!!! The first part of this ask is here.
Imma answer the full ask in this post, though ^^
Dick would be *wrecked* by the idea that he unintentionally caused the death of thousands (I'm not sure about how large Bludhaven's population is). Bruce and Jason would also both feel extremely guilty and upset about this as well. It's almost as if Bruce passed along his tendencies to blame himself.
I'm curious who is considered Bruce's children by Gotham. Do Barbara and Steph count? Are they limited as well?
And Dick. I hope to gods he just gets his own place in Gotham and doesn't move back into the Manor. I don't know how much Bruce and Dick's relationship could recover from this.
Yeah, this is typical Bruce behavior. However, that was Dick's city. The city Dick swore to protect. That was so many lives.
Dick may never trust Bruce ever again.
Bruce, on the other hand, is probably going to try to hunt sentient Gotham down for causing all those deaths (depending on how intentionally it was). This will cause tension with the family because: what if stopping Gotham kills Jason?
I'm curious how Bruce would judge Gotham? Gotham isn't human and doesn't have human ideals. It's a sentient eldritch being and shouldn't be held to human standards of morality. It has helped and harmed the Bats in equal measure. Does Bruce even have the right to try to punish or end it?
As far as Tim... I'm curious if he is as affected by the need to stay in Gotham. Maybe it only affects him after Bruce adopts him (and for that short period during Jack's comma where Tim was Bruce's ward). Would it thus get nullified when Tim gets emancipated (and another leading cause for him to do it)?
Also, if Tim gave back Robin, was that temporary or permanent? Did Steph take the role in the meantime? Did Tim become his own hero?
Interesting concepts all around ^^

My ''hot'' takes about DC
The reason the word "hot" appears in quotes is I'm not sure if what I'm about to say is truly controversial or if my opinions are one of the most lukewarm there could be.
Number 1. Scarecrow's character (or lack thereof)
I'm confident in saying that it's a fact at this point that if you're not part of the Bat Family, Gotham Sirens (Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, and Suicide Squad by association with Harley), or the Joker, DC doesn't care about you. They might toss the Riddler a bone if you can call being a butt-monkey that.
Scarecrow is less of a character and more of a writing device when the creators want a character to face their fears but have no idea how to do it, so they'll just have Jonathan spray or inject them with his fear toxin.
On the surface, it's not a bad idea. It's not about the cliche, it's about how it's used. Many times we don't even get to see what the characters are afraid of personally but just some random scary imagery because the writers aren't smart enough to come up with a fear that would fit the character. Remember that one episode of Justice League where Flash has a scary dream that he's moving so fast no one can see him or Hawk Girl wings got tight up and she started falling to her death?
But probably the most frustrating thing is how he gets defeated. When Batman or some other character is done with overcoming their fear, Scarecrow just gets punched or defeated in a different humiliating way. My question is this. What was he doing the whole time his opponent was having their little episode? Was he doing some research and taking notes? Was he trying to get away? Was he getting himself off by watching? What?! And I know Scarecrow isn't as good of a fighter as Batman (although he does know violent dancing unless DC forgot about that) but is it too much to ask for them but up a bit of a fight before going down?
Tumblr media
Which brings me to my next point.
2. Double standard in fighting.
I hate the ''Batman just goes around abusing mentally ill people.'' argument. You can like villains, villains can have sympathetic backstories but that doesn't give them a pass to do whatever the hell they want and hurt other people. But I can understand where people might get that idea from. When a comic never shows any people in danger or hurt from the actions of the bad guy, because the writers are pussies, it might look like Batman is overdoing. Especially when the most brutalized are humans with no powers like Joker, Scarecrow, and Riddler. But when Batman fights Bane or Killer Crock it's usually him who gets brutalized. Which makes sense. But don't get me started on a double standard between male villains and female villains. A female villain will never get as bad of a beating as a male villain even when she's done way worse things and has powers which make her a much more dangerous and allow her to tank more hits.
Tumblr media
Which is similar to my next pet peeve.
3. ''Dating Catwoman''
Am I the only one who hates when a hero gets horny for a bad guy and lets them get away? As I said before it can be done nicely. It can show how love can change someone for the better. Or a hero going down the bad path. I especially hate it when it's done with the character this cliche was named after. Catwoman most of the time has no backstory explaining why she does what she does. Sometimes she stills from the rich to give to the poor. But most of the time she does it just for fun. In most stories she's in she's shown to be smart, pretty, fit, and all around girlboss. She could work and earn her own money to give to those in need, marry some rich guy, or be a gold digger.

Arkham Abyss Files: Red Hood Memory II
LOADING FILE...
“I nearly flunked arts. Music I was fine, mostly because I was part of the choir,” Helena said.
“Seriously?” Jason asked incredulously. “How do you flunk arts?”
“It doesn’t interest me.” She shrugged. “I have better things to do and learn. It’s a waste of time–in my opinion.”
“You think beauty is a waste of time?” Jason asked, almost scandalized.
Helena turned bored eyes at him, “Yes. So what?”
“What—? How can you think that when you live surrounded by beautiful things?”
“They’re objects, what does it matter how they look if they accomplish a function?”
Jason couldn’t believe he of all people had to explain to this sinic Princess why beauty was important. Because he was sure she had all her life lived seeing places full of wonderful beautiful things, using pretty clothes, riding gorgeous cars—
Then he laughed a bit snidely. Of course, she had never known what it was to live without it.
“Maybe you should try wearing cheap used clothes or a deadbeat car. Or perhaps returning home to a place with no windows, no sunlight, and when you get out–there’s nothing green, no flowers, no color beyond the faded ad in a pan card selling you some brand that doesn't even exist anymore.”
Helena's expression didn't change much, the only thing he could note at least was a glint in her eyes that made her look far off, and he wondered at that. So far, she'd been amicable and annoyingly teasing.
“Are flowers and trees beautiful?” She asked.
Jason frowned, “Of course!”
“Well, I don’t like flowers. I do like trees, but I don't think of them as beautiful.”
“You don’t like flowers? What kind of Princess are you?”
At this, Helena laughed. And how could she not understand how a beautiful smile soothed some of the world’s darkness? Or maybe she didn’t want to see it for some reason…
“Princess? You think I’m a princess?” She asked.
Jason flushed a little, “Well—you are. Even Bruce is called ‘Prince of Gotham’.”
“Yeah. You’re right. Maybe I do am one. A princess who doesn’t like flowers nor cares for pretty things. I guess I’m a lousy princess then.”
“What about sunrises and sunsets? Everyone gets inspired by that.” Jason tried.
“They mark part of the day.” Helena turned her hand, indicating the passing of time.
“Dresses and shoes?” Girls liked those, right?
“Only if I need to use them and I prefer comfortable shoes.” She shot back, bored.
“How about music? Didn't you say you were in a choir?”
“I did. Out of—a promise of sorts. I have a good voice and others like to listen to it.”
“See? That inspires people because it's beautiful and soothing—assuming you do have a pretty voice,” Jason probed at her.
Helena shot him a mocking glance, “I’m not that lousy of a princess. I do have a nice enough voice.”
“Right,” Jason said dryly.
“But I wouldn’t care if I didn't.”
“What if you were ugly?”
“Oh, you think I'm beautiful?” She asked very pleased and walked towards him. Jason immediately put his arms up and stepped back.
“You are beautiful by human standards. It’s not a matter of opinion.”
“Pooh!” Pooh? Who talked like that in modern times? “So boring. So what if I was ugly? As long as I could still help others, who cares?”
“Believe me, many people care about not being beautiful enough.”
“Then they should make up by working on making their insides better.”
Jason rolled his eyes, “Only a pretty person would say that.”
“Too many people care too much for appearances,” She countered.
“Well, yes. But that's not the point. Beautiful and true things that transcend this world are what make it worth living if it was all ugly and depressing humans would’ve disappeared long ago.”
“You’re talking now about immaterial things—”
“No,” Jason paused and amended, “Not only about those—I really don’t understand that deep shit that much. I’m talking about sunsets, flowers, a good book, calligraphy, music—even if there’s a lot of trash music nowadays.”
Helena laughed again and stepped close to him again, her hands entwined behind her back. This time, Jason didn't step back, knowing full well that this was a tactic of hers to make him fumble or lose the line of reasoning he was on. Once she was nearly on his face, and her dark blue slanted eyes shining with mischief were so close he could count her long eyelashes if he wanted, she said softly.
“You aren’t convincing me.”
Jason huffed and ignored his slightly accelerated heartbeat. He looked up at the clock. It wasn’t that late, so if they went to sleep now, they could get up early in the morning before sunrise.
“Fine. Meet me in the garden at six a.m.”
“Ah! Are you asking me on a date already? And here I thought you didn’t even like me!”
Jason narrowed his eyes, put his index finger on her forehead, and pushed her back.
“It just annoys me to see someone so blind,” He said and then flickered her forehead.
“Ow!” She hissed and rubbed her forehead then glared a bit at him. “Fine, I’ll see you there, Knight of beautiful things!” Helena said, then stuck out her tongue, turned around, and ran out of the library.
Jason sighed and shook his head. She was a handful.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Sunrise still was thirty minutes away, so it was plenty dark to still see the stars—at least in the opposite direction of Gotham with its perpetual shining. Luckily it was a rare February sky that was devoid of clouds. Helena wasn’t that happy of following, even if she had shown on her own. They were both sitting on one of the brick planters that held some rosebushes.
“It’s cold,” She complained and buried herself deeper in her thick purple coat.
Jason rolled his eyes, “You won’t die, Princess.”
Helena humphed and scooted closer to him until she was stuck to his side, “Share your warmth then.”
As she had made the effort to be out here in the cold early dawn, he complied and didn’t move away from her. She sniffled and asked, “So what’s the great thing that will change my mind?”
Jason sighed and pointed toward the starry sky.
“Stars?”
“Just be quiet for a moment. Imagine there’s nothing else but what it’s in front of you right now. It’s just you and the sky.”
Minutes passed in silence then Helena broke it again, “I still don’t see it.”
Jason sighed, “I guess you’re a lost case then. You’ll live the rest of your days in a very dull way.”
“It doesn’t matter as long as I do what I can to help others to the best of my ability,” Helena defended. “As dull as my free time may seem to you.”
“That’s fine. Just don’t talk to me in public.”
Helena laughed, “You’re horrible! At least do you know some constellations?”
Oh well, even if he’d failed to prove his point, he was having fun at least. Then Jason proceeded to point out the few ones that could be made out, it wasn’t long before the first rays of the sun gently erased them from the sky. Helena said some stupid joke about shooting stars getting arrested and Jason laughed despite himself. His eyes turned to Helena, now that there was some light he could make out her expressions more clearly, and right now she was staring at him—with attentive eyes, and her lips were slightly parted. Then she blinked and looked ahead, towards the sunrise and all its colorful hues.
Then Jason saw a shine in her eyes and knew she was admiring the view now.
“Not so bad, huh?” He said.
“I guess—” Helena sent a quick look his way then back in front– “it’s not so bad,” She reluctantly admitted. Then she added quietly, “My Mom was beautiful. Even when she died.”

World building the Catbatfam AU:
About Gotham: it's actually peaceful there. Yeah, all is casual, no need for costumed vigilantes. There's still a dark and dreary aesthetic, but is it truly GOTHam without the gargoyles and rain and darkness? It's just a normal city, no unusually high crime rate.
About the Rogues: honestly? They're either also cats or don't exist. With things being the way they are (peaceful Gotham, no vigilantes), some of the Rogues dont have their problems.
Examples:
Mr Freeze: Nora's illnesses don't work if she's a cat, and we can't have Victor going villain, so instead she has a rare illness, but beats it against the odds, and they live together happily. This works as both cats and humans
----------------------------
The Joker (a potential side story in a series): he's a human, he's just a bitch with a bad sense of humor who doesn't like animals. He moved to Gotham thinking the smog would lower the amount of animals, but not only did he move in across from a (thriving?) Park, but also his last remaining relatives died, and all they left him was their fucking cat named Harleen, or Harley.
(They did that as they left everything else to their close friends. They hated him, so they didn't want him to sue for being forgotten in the will, and instead left him something they knew he'd hate. They figured he'd give Harley up within a week. The Joker has too much pride for that.)
He hates that cat. He refuses to get a litter box, so she very quickly has to learn to be an outdoor cat. Harley does not know how to outdoor cat. She is struggling.
----------------------------
Ivy: a stray cat who's taken over the park outside of the Joker's house. She's got plant powers, always having plants threaded through her orange fur. She helps Harley, and their story ends with her kicking the Joker's ass. They become Gotham's resident cat-park lesbians. Honestly, she's living her best life. Harley is no longer struggling.
----------------------------
Killer Croc: Waylon is a cat with a skin condition, he always seems to be covered in scabs. He was taken in by a lovely family.
I can't think of anything else, I don't really care for the rogue's backstories tbh
----------------------------
The Wayne's (main plot): the owners are Martha and Thomas Wayne, and their cat Alfred. They refer to him as their friend, talk to him like a person, and eventually claim he's co-parenting their kitten Bruce. They got Alfred in college, and I'll post a drawing of him the second motivation hits. Until then you don't get to know his breed, it's a surprise. (I found out that the breed exists like. 10 minutes ago. Never heard of it before) from there, Bruce slowly collects his kittens and everyone lives happily ever after
Potential other families
The Kent's: lovely older couple bigs up a dog off the street. Who picks up a dog off the street (they're apparently related? Hello Kara.). And then another dog (who... he's also related too? Why do you have a son. Where did he come from. Whatever, his name is Kon) And then another dog, but at least he brings his wife this time. (Your wife's name is now Lois. Your newest son is now Jon. How many of these are we getting?) Etc etc for other superfamily members. They become those farmers with a whole clan of dogs who help out.
The Prince's: honestly I know jackshit about Diana. However I think she has a boyfriend? (Steve? Trevor? I dunno.) So he's a loser living alone with his badass cat. She could beat him in a fight and he knows it. He's pretty sure that she has more muscles than him. Also she's not like. Aging? Girl how old are you. Why do you look at me with such intelligence. I love you with my entire heart and would do anything for you but also you scare me. (I feel like he'd get her a talking button pad. She'd love it I think.) ("Is Diana otherworldly?" 🤷. If you ask her boy he'd say yes, but her vet would say no)
The Allen's: Barry is a bird. End of story, I shouldn't have to explain myself here. He is a bird, along with Wally and Bart.
J'onn: fish. He is a fish. To me. I dunno I'm working off of vibes here. M'gann is also a fish. Martians are fish.
(Picture me, desperately trying to remember the other members of the Justice League after having a busy day and 2 big meals. I'm so tired)
The Lanterns: there's canoically a rage cat. There's a cat with the red ring. They are cats. All of em, Hal, Guy, Kyle I think, there's probably more but I don't know em, all cats.
The Queens': genuinely I do not know this man. Well, no. I have like the opposite problem here as I do with Diana, as I know Diana's personality but I know nothing about her. I know Oliver's backstory, but I know nothing of him as a character. I can't accurately say anything about him. I think it would be funny to make him a cat because Bruce is a cat and these 2 parallel each other, but I'd rather make that decision based on him, not Bruce.

The Arrangement Ch.20
Ch.20 A Servant
Damian Wayne x OC! Female
Prev | Next
Kukuroo Mountain was far east tucked on the border of Russia and China it stood at 12,211ft and on this mountain was a large manor surrounding all of this were tall walls locked behind a very complicated and heavy set of doors.
This was the Minamoto Estate.
Syn stood before the gate she didn't want to go in but she had to. She had to. A couple pf days ago her father called to inform her that she new bound of servants had finished their training and she was return home to pick sevants for her new household. While she didn't like the idea of having her father or mother spying on her though servants she hoped it wouldn't be like that.
"Hello, Miss Syn, Welcome home."
"Hello, Zebro"
Zebro was the 'grounds and gatekeeper." In quotations, because his main job was taking care of Mike, the guard 'dog'. Again, quotations because she was pretty sure he wasn't a dog. Normal dogs don't weigh 900Ibs and stand 12 feet tall on all fours. Or at least that is what her world travels taught her.
A lot of quotation marks around here.
Syn stepped to the gates. These weren't normal. Tall and heavy, it was bound by magic with a lock that could only be opened by those who knew the family's history. Placing her hand on the gate, the doors glowed, and pieces emerged. She moved the pieces accordingly, revealing the pieces of history it asked for, and the doors slowly swung open.
"How's Mike?"
"He's well. He has missed you." Zebro followed, stepping through the doors and walking through the forest. "Not many come down to be with him besides you, Master Killua, and Master Zeno. And they've been busy training and working. No time for Mike." Zebro sad sigh was a very big contract to the looming beast the emerged from the shadows behind him.
The long, shaggy black fur, Black beady eyes, and long snout with lips pulled into an almost formal human-like grin.
"Hi, Mike." Zebro stepped aside as Syn stepped forward, petting him. Such a good boy, so handsome. Yes, you are, yes you are." She cooed, and after a few more pets, he turned around and trotted back into the shadows.
"No intruders for him to play with"
"None would dare. Another time, Miss Syn." She waved goodbye as he walked off.
Syn sighed before slowly making her way through the forest towards the manor. There was no actual path to the manor; the only walking path upon the estate led straight to the servants' quarters, which was best as she was here for a servant of her own.
"Hello Canary"
"Hello, Miss Syn, Welcome back," The younger in her butler-tailored outfit stepped aside from her post to allow Syn through. Syn didn't move.
"how are you?"
"I am well, Miss."
"How are the new recruits?"
"They are well trained. All are prepared for their positions. Silva and Zeno have picked and put aside recruits for you to choose from."
Syn hummed a bit as she looked at the girl before her. Yet, serving her ."And Mother?"
"Miss Kikyo had no part in the decisions of the recruits."
"Thank you." Canary gives a bow as Syn Walks away.
Canary was one of the servants that Syn favored, not because of any services or favors towards herself but towards her younger brother. Canary was kind to him, too kind even, and for that, she was grateful. Canary was one of the good ones. Hopefully, she'd get a good one.
Syn had hope as she walked up to the servants' quarters. Walking into the house, she found a line of recruits waiting for her. This was good, hopefully, she'd be able to pick and leave without crossing paths with any family members. She really wasn't ready for that. She was starting to get comfortable with the Wayne's she doesn't need anyone sewing doubt.
"Hello, My name is Syn. Today, I will be taking one of you to serve me in my new home of Gotham."
"Excuse me, ma'am, but I was under the impression you'd be taking more than one," Gotoh said as he stepped forward files for each recruit in hand.
"Do you believe I need more than one? The estate I have is small. You don't think they'll be competent enough to take charge."
Her Estate wasn't small. Truth was, she didn't want that many of her father's servants watching her every move. She can handle one. Plus, she was hoping to get a jack-of-all-trades, her own Alfred, perhaps. Hoppefully. He did it all on his own; why couldn't they?
Syn sat down on the couch as Gotoh handed her the files. She quickly flips through them, they're much, all with similar stories Orphaned or Abandoned picked off the streets after showing potential and trained to protect and serve the family. Come from nothing, given everything but ordered to serve for it. And Serve they did. Something caught her attention. She flipped back through the files and found it
"Kato"
A young Asian man stepped forward. He was found in China. He showed potential with martial arts interest, but when his tinkering abilities were discovered. And it made sense the gadets that he made that were on files were very unique.
"You have talent." Reaching into her back pocket, she pulled out some papers passing them to him. " Can you handle this?" blueprints of her estate. " Now, the outside can be handled by gardeners. And any big events or moves will include hired help.  It houses only two at the moment. If you can't handle it- "
"I can handle it."
" Good. Pack, we leave in 10."
-
Kato didn't have much, just a few notebooks, which made sense. Everyone was taught to not be materialistic but as an inventor one could not leave their ideas behind.
They were high in the clouds, just as the sunset. Syn sighed in relief, having no run-in with her family and flying away from the possibility. A good day overall.
She sat across from Kato. " You'll have the first few days to familiarize yourself with the city, the in-laws, and the estate. I don't have much for you to do at the moment, the house is barely furnished as is." Kato simply nodded. " I'm hoping we'll get along. I don't want you to be my servant, I want your to be my friend. Okay?"
"Whatever you desire, Miss."
It would take some time, perhaps a long time, but she knew they'd be friends. Maybe she could ask Alfred to spend some time with Kato and show him the ropes. At least, it would get him closer to the family.
Syn looked out the cabin window at the clouds that passed by.
They'd make it work.
One thing I love and hate about the DC world is its geography.
I hate it because it's so hard to pinpoint where some places are and how long it takes to travel, especially outside of the United States. I like it because it is great for fanfiction. The world is large, and the landscape is so outlandish yet vague that one can add anything they like.
DC x DP is one fanon that has used it very well. And now I will too.

Another half asleep twins au rant/prompt! Please excuse any spelling or grammar errors I have not slept in a hot minute.
Trigger Warning ⚠️: Ghost Hunger, Dissection/vivisection, starvation
--------------------------------------
So this is a Ghost Hunger Damian and Danny are twins au. I was reminded about ghost hunger the other day and boy did it give me the spark of creativity I needed to create yet another au/fic idea to hyperfixate on.
So in this au Damian and Danny were very close as siblings but Danny ended up dying throwing himself in harms way to protect Damian on a mission for the league. Damian blames himself for not having better reflexes/not paying enough attention and could never convince his grandfather to allow Danyal to be resurrected via the pit.
Talia saw how desperate her son was for the other to live though and also cared for Danyal so she risked it all to revive him secretly and hide him amongst the civilians in America. Damian sadly never got to learn about that fact tho and lived years with the guilt he felt which left him determined to never let that happen again. Which meant he could never let anyone get close enough to want to do such a thing for him and he needed to hone his skills.
Danny on the other hand has hazy memories of his brother while with the Fentons and goes through the same timeline of becoming Phantom and protecting Amity Park. Eventually tho his parents find out and that gets him strapped to a table in the basement begging for his half life/getting vivisected.
So Danny flees going on the run and ends up on the streets of Gotham. The spirit of Gotham is so excited and welcoming to her newest child. He is a protector and her king after all. It fills her with pride that she would get to care for such an important person. She does all she can to make sure the king stays safe. Little things to keep him hidden and protected.
Danny however has unintentionally been keeping a pretty big secret from the ghosts of the realm. He doesn't really know this though and thinks its just a ghost thing. Basically his core is slightly corrupted due to the years he spent around the Lazarus pits aswell as the revival vial the dip in it's corrupt ectoplasm. As a result he experiences ghost hunger which was pretty easy to manage when he lived with the Fenton's. He would normally satiate his hunger via eating pure ectoplasm from the lab but now he has no access to that which leads him to starving himself.
This starvation mixed with his human side starving aswell is very very hard on his body as a result he begins to black out sometimes when he wakes up he usually tastes ectoplasm but just assumes its his own due to his injuries from his parents. These injuries are weirdly taking way longer to heal which is due to ghosts being very mental/emotional state based.
Gotham soon realizes she has a big problem on her hands. It turns out the king's core is corrupted and as a result many of her ghostly children are going missing. She is deeply upset and calls out for help to assist the king with his corruption or stop him from killing more of her children. She hopes the king gets help rather than getting taken down however. She knows it's not his fault. She knows how protective of her city and her people he is and how kind he can be to them and hopes issues get solved so he may become a protector of her people.
This call for help brings Constantine to Gotham. He doesn't get a whole lot of info from Gotham at first but he knows whatever is going on can be dangerous and is important. He knows that some of the bats are in danger too and gives them a warning that something in Gotham seems to be hunting ghostly beings and those whom have died before are at risk especially Red Hood.
The Bat's don't take too kindly to the supernatural threat and kinda force their way into assisting Constantine whom is already annoyed with the prospect of having to deal with the bats.
So time passes and the bats gets a few encounters of feeling as if they're being hunted. Jason is also the first to discover the new homeless kid in Gotham who looks almost exactly like Damian. It's hard to really see too many similarities at the time tho he's so thin it's deeply worrying and his icy blue eyes greatly contrast Damian's emerald green, but some similarities are far too obvious to miss. Oh great more black hair blue eyed adoption bait. Better keep him far away from Bruce.
The few run ins some of the bat kids have with Danny make them worried about the homeless kid. Dick, Tim, Duke and Jason all get run ins with the kid and tho they want to try and help the kid he always seems to vanish without a trace. It's kinda creepy but they all can recognize just how scared this kid is.
Eventually Bruce and Damian get their run in with the kid. The GiW have finally tracked Danny down and due to the stupid vivisection wounds not healing and the starvation of both forms he can't get the strength he needs to defend himself or make an easy escape. He ends up cornered in an alleyway and getting shot with luckily no major damage. Batman and Robin come across the scene of what appears to be some weird new gang bullying a homeless child and makes quick work of them.
After all is said and done and they look back to help the injured kid Damian ends up shocked to find that this kid is Danyal. At first he pulls his sword on him making threats thinking this is some sick and twisted trick from the league, but then he comes to his senses seeing how broken and defeated Danyal is. He doesn't flinch or shy away from the fate, though he has tears in his deeply tired eyes he doesn't fight back. He doesn't seem to have the energy to. He just sits against the walled dead end that almost got him killed and stares down the katana as if he no longer fears death.
Things get bit emotional as he questions his long dead brother. Danny is honest in answering he doesn't know how he came back nor does he fully remember how he died in the first place. He also dodges some of the questions and keeps the ghost half hidden. He explains to them he's gotten himself into trouble however and people are after him now and he appreciates the help. He keeps as much as he can about ghosts being involved a secret. He has no idea about the Bat's stances on them after all. And he seems to hate metas so probably won't take to kindly to a ghost.
Damian and Danny share info and Bruce discovers he has a son he didn't know about and deeply regrets not being there cause the state this kid is in is pretty dier. He's not sure he can fully trust the kid though. It's clear he's hiding something and that could be a danger to his family and Gotham, but he decides to give him a chance. After all this is his son and he wants to help him no matter what.
Bruce calls in someone to cover the rest of his and Damian's patrol route for the night and has Alfred get Doctor Thompkins to meet them back in the cave for medical assistance. They get Danny back and he starts getting some treatment for his wounds. Alfred and Thompkins are pretty horrified to find the vivisection wounds on the kiddo. They are definetly infected by this point. And much to Danny's dismay he has to use the excuse that he's a meta to explain why he's got such a low temperature and heart rate, why he can't use sedatives, and why stitches and stuff like that won't work.
So treatment is a bit difficult but they do their best with it. Alfred and Thompkins also discuss what needs to be done to get the kid back on track to being healthy. All the while Damian is anxiously waiting to be able to see his brother again. Bruce has never seen Damian show such emotion and care before aside from when he's dealing with animals. It's so jarring. And of course the other bat kids are snooping trying to find out what's going on.
So recovery is slow and bat kids try to connect with their new sibling whenever Damian isn't trying to act as a guard dog/mother hen. Danny ends up the closest with Damian and Jason in the family. Jason can immediately tell something is off with the kid due to the Lazarus water reacting to him and is the first person Danny opens up to about being half ghost (much to Damian's dismay). Jason keeps Danny's secret for him but encourages him subtly to open up to the others cause they'll definetly accept him despite the fact that he's half dead. They bond a lot on their mutual trauma and of course Damian is jealous but also happy Danny is actually talking to someone and getting back on his feet.
Damian still feels immense guilt over the first death Danyal faced and this guilt makes him think of course Danyal would want to avoid him that Danyal blames him too which is totally untrue and eventually gets worked through but not until after theres some conflicts due to jealousy. But that comes later.
One night Jason decides to stay over for Danny's sake and Danny has another black out. Basically his ghost form goes feral and tries to go after Jason. This results in the discovery that Danny was the danger Constantine has been looking for all along and there's a major blow up in the family due to this info. Danny only stops feral mode after eating a blob ghost (poor lil guy) and gets rudely awoken by the batfam accusations of attempted murder.
Danny is finally informed that he's been killing and eating ghosts and is horrified this goes against his whole goal of protecting everyone and keeping the balance and really goes against his protection obsession. It breaks him and Bruce yelling accusations at him doesn't help at all. Kiddo has a major breakdown and goes on the run from his new family thinking he is a danger and that he blew it with them.
Danny faces issues with injury to his core aswell due to what he's done and how that effects his obsession. Basically he's having a real bad time.
Jason whom has connected with the kiddo knows that this ain't Danny and somethings clearly wrong and so does Damian so the two reluctantly band together to locate and help the poor kiddo. With this team up Damian discovers Jason knew Danny was a half ghost and jealousy causes a fight but they manage to keep the team together out of concern for the kiddo.
The the other Bats team up with Constantine to track him down and eliminate the threat. Gotham tries to impede them though cause she knows the route they are on will only bring harm to the ghost king rather than help him. She tries her best to help hood and Robin find him first.
When Jason and Damian discover Danny he's in bad shape. Kiddos absolutely breaking down and very injured his core is definetly injured for sure. They try to offer assistance but Danny isn't thinking straight he's like a wounded animal so if he gets cornered he fights back.
It really doesn't help that the GiW manages to track him down yet again and the boyoa have to deal with both that and a ghostly Danny whom poses a risk of injury to not only them but himself.
With so much going on its no surprise that the GiW actually succeeds in capturing Danny. The two vigilante's end up getting knocked out and left to the wayside.
Eventually the other bats come across them and they explain Danny was captured by the thugs that first attacked him. Constantine recognizes the organization and is deeply frustrated but hey atleast it's not his problem anymore right? Wrong. With the kids explanations he realizes Danny was not actually evil. He's partially alive and he is a protector spirit not a rouge one. He also realizes how bad things are cause a spirit like that committing such acts that he has risks destabilization which would probably kill both the human and ghost half. He's no ghost expert but Gotham's giving him signs she wants him to help the ghost kid and now he's in quite the pickle.
So this leads everyone into panic mode and search and recuse mode. Theres a big rescue mission where they break into the GiW headquarters and fight the GiW to get Danny back. Of course he is having a hard time staying stable and they have to both use whatever magic Constantine can muster to keep him as stable as he can and on the spot therapy time to try and stabilize the poor kiddo.
Eventually they get him stable enough to bring him back home but now he has mandatory therapy sessions with Black Canary. They also have a lot of emotional work ahead of them aswell and physical work trying to get a steady supply of ectoplasm so the kid doesn't starve again.
They have to fight the Fenton's for custody aswell and try and dismantle the GiW and anti ecto acts. Its a long process and they really discover just how bad things were for the kid.
They probably have a visit to frostbite too if they can get a portal and this helps him heal and make sure no more ghost medical problems occur. This also helps the family learn a lot of ghost health is tied to emotional and mental health.
Damian and Danny probably end up getting in a few fights due to Damian's jealousy aswell but eventually work though it and become closer due to it. They are inseparable. And Damian also has to learn to get used to Jason being around and an active older brother figure. Bruce apologizes for his mistreatment of the kiddo too. Their relationship stays a bit rocky for a long while but they definitely make progress.
Theres a lot of emotions and emotional conflict and things are very rocky for awhile but eventually they get to be a functional and loving family dynamic! Danny gets a happy ending in the end it's not a perfect home but he definetly wouldn't want to be anywhere else :D
This is the longest prompt I've written yet I hope you guys enjoy it 💗💗💗

Okay but a Vik/Hieron kid would be....the most irritating rogue.
[ If they had a kid meme - ACCEPTING ]
Tumblr media
Name: Gáspár Zografi (rogue identity "Psyche")
Gender: Masc (he/they)
General Appearance: Gáspár is an averagely built young man with brown skin, gentle features, very long dark brown hair, and bright blue eyes. He has an aquiline nose and thick brows, and often wears gold make-up to accentuate his features, though he doesn't use any other disguise for his rogue work. He doesn't have to. They have a nose peircing, lobe piercings, and four forward helix piercings, all of which are usually adorned in simple but striking gold jewelry. They prefer clothing of simple cuts, but extravagant detailing.
Personality: Gáspár is, to put it lightly, a nuisance even amongst Gotham's usual rogues. He's self-assured, confident, playful, but casual about it, bordering on being smug but always keeping things 'reasonably charming', as he personally likes to put it. He likes to be just annoying enough to get a rise out of people. The cat vibes are so strong. He does play it up, but in every act there's some truth. They know what they're about, and they know what they're capable of, and they know (mostly) how to use it to their advantage while letting 'allies' think they're getting the better deal. They work as an information broker most often, but they aren't above doing a little dirty work when they can be bothered, but mostly go their own way, coming and going where it best suits them, and never relying too heavily on any alliance. They'd be a thousand times more notorious... if vigilantes could remember him as more than a dream and a song they can't get out of their head... However, a life lived 'just out of reach' often leaves him feeling a bit lonely. A feeling he embraces quietly because of his powers. He often struggles with how much of his relationships are genuine, and how many of them are because of, or reliant on, his abilities, and if he often doubts himself as to whether he's inadvertently 'cheating' his way into understanding other people. He tries not to worry about it, even jokes about it and plays it up for intimidation, but it's obvious that he feels a little isolated from other humans in a way that aches... Maybe they aren't one.
Special Talents: They inherited Hieron's cognitophagy, though not much of their taste in painting. However, he did find great interest in music, and is an accomplished violinist. And they're starting to develop some strange quirks in their voice, but I'm sure it's fine.
Who they like better: They don't really care more for one over the other, but he relies a lot on Hieron for understanding his powers and finding reassurance. And they find comfort in Viktor's often ethereally morose but candid advice.
Who they take after more: Gáspár is a pretty even split between his parents, to be honest. Mischief abound in those genes, will be a problem on purpose. If anything, maybe he's a case of double trouble...
Personal Headcanon: Their favorite candy is black licorice, they always eat all the black jelly beans, and they end every night with a cup of licorice tea.

Here's my take on Professor Jonathan Crane:
There's so many different versions of him, so here is basically my own version. This version isn't based on one piece of Batman media in particular and takes bits and pieces! Should I like, call this the ChronicBeansverse or something? Chronicverse? Idk but I'ma just roll with it.
TW: Trypanophobia (Needles), Past Abuse, Religious Trauma, Cult-like Behaviors, Human Experimentation (Fear Toxin Use), Kidnapping
💉 Okay, so in my version of Jonathan Crane's backstory, he has a similar one to the Year One: Batman/Scarecrow version, with a few added points. Whilst not explicitly a cult of any sort, many members of the Keeny Family take their love of God and Christianity to a very cultish degree. The church they went to was a normal, healthy church environment with no extreme views; the Keeny family just took it to another level. This, alongside his great-grandmother's abuse, has caused Jonathan to have a large amount of religious trauma and impacted the way he views religion as a whole. He genuinely fears it and those who follow religion, actively avoiding them due to a fear that they will hurt him in some way. The same goes for birds, due to their use in his abuse.
💉 The events during his school years didn't actually happen in this universe. During school, he was just seen as the quiet kid, or kind of like a ghost. Nobody really noticed him, so nobody really bullied him. What ended up causing his love of fear was him realizing that, for the more devoted and fanatic members of his family, they used fear to keep him and others in line. They'd threaten, they'd damn, and they'd use any fear tactic to get others to do their will. So, in a desperate attempt to gain some level of control in his life, he vowed to find a way to instill that same fear into them.
💉 There is ONE family member whom Jonathan liked, which was his younger cousin, John Keeny. John was a pretty nice boy to him, seemingly unaware of the abuse their great-grandmother was putting him through or the fact that other family members didn't like Jonathan due to his illegitimacy, but seemed to disappear after a while. John is currently living in Gotham, but Jonathan doesn't know that. I might make a post on John Keeny later on.
💉 In this little universe, Jonathan Crane works as a professor of psychology at Gotham University. He is generally seen as a strict professor, with a few exceptions. He truly wants to see his students succeed, which is why he is so strict. The only students he sees as exceptions are those who have special needs, such as a learning disability or a physical one. They may not be able to come into class in time to meet his strict schedule, or may have difficulty reading the textbooks he requires them to use, etc. So, instead, he'll work more directly with them to accommodate for them, such as tutoring after class or simply checking in on them more often during normal class time to make sure they are doing fine.
💉 He's one of the newer villains, who still hasn't been noticed by the masses of Gotham. So, he still has his job, and doesn't even have his Scarecrow villain persona or costume. He does have a lab in the basement of his house, where he performs experiments of unwilling test subjects using his fear toxin. So, for now, the few villains who know about him call him a "fledgling criminal", with those few villains being The Riddler and The Penguin. Jonathan is completely unaware that these two know he is a criminal, nor has he ever spoken to or met them in his life.
💉 What he has been doing, as of current, is plucking random people off the streets of Gotham and keeping them in his basement, using the fear toxin on them. There are currently three different forms he has made of the fear toxin: a powdered version that can be used to lace food or drinks, an injectable version, and a gas version that can be used in open air or large spaces. So far, he has found the injection to be the strongest, with the gas being the weakest, but effecting many at once.
💉 Once he's done with a "patient", he will knock them out before tossing them back to the streets, leaving them scared and confused. They usually don't remember much of what happened, either, as a side effect of the fear toxin is foggy memories or a complete loss of memory for a certain time period before, during, and after exposure. They know SOMETHING happened, but not what. This has helped Jonathan in hiding his activities from the police.
💉 He doesn't have any real plans of making a villain persona (aka the Scarecrow), since he doesn't see a need for one. While he is making his fear toxin, as of current, he has no plans to use it for crimes like robbery, murder, or the likes. He would only need a villain persona if he planned to do crimes out in the open, right? He doesn't plan for his toxin to escape his basement, at least, not for now. His toxin is made out of a desire to learn more about fear. He is a researcher at heart, with his experimentation being done out of the purest, most sadistic form of curiosity. Why ruin it by using it for something other than research? It isn't even complete, yet!

I've really got to start posting these on tumblr so here, have some musings on if the Batfamily had (lame) superpowers.
The no Metas in Gotham rule is kind of a lie
Ok so I don't actually know much about biology or anything, but what if the Metagene wasn't so much of a you-have-it-or-you-don't thing but more of like a collection of enzymes and stuff that over a certain threshold you get superpowers. And under that threshold it’s normal baseline human.
At least that's the case if there's no outside catalyst or something. I mean how else would you explain the Flashes. Usually lab accidents like that would result in chemical burns not superspeed.
And Gotham is cursed, like legit cursed. I’m pretty sure there’s canonically a bunch of curses actually. So even though there's technically no Metas in Gotham, you get things like botanists that can control plants of their mind. And clay monsters that appeared because they were addicted to face cream (or whatever Clayface’s origin is).
Of course, not everyone's powers is that obvious. In fact, most people in Gotham have powers they don't even realize it. I mean the Joker’s survived being dunked in a vase of chemicals and simply going insane instead of melting into a pile of goo. In fact, he's had pretty much every bone in his body broken by Batman and is still running around laughing. And he's definitely not a Meta because they've checked.
I like to think that a few of the other rogues have random powers as well that they don't even realize. Like Harvey Dent was able to call the correct face of a coin flip every single time (some kind of collapse in probability thing) except after the incident Two-Face can also do it. Coin flips are now actually random so he doesn't know the outcome anymore. The original Ventriloquist probably has some minor telekinesis on his puppet. (I know the New 52 Ventriloquist has actual telekinesis so that only makes sense.) Mad Hatter’s mind control is through his technology, but no one else would have been able to figure out how to do it besides him. His hats definitely don't work quite as well for others.
And, of course, every member of the Bat Family has powers but not every member knows about it.
   🦇
Batman has slight shadow manipulation. All those comic panels you see of Bruce Wayne brooding in the darkness with his shadow behind them with the pointy ears even though he's not in costume? Yeah, that actually happens. Not that he knows this since he's never seen it. And if anyone else has spotted it, it's totally something that could always be dismissed as a trick of the light. It's possible even if he realized he had this power all he could really use it for is to be a bit more dramatic when sweeping down on villains.
   🦇
Alfred actually does have a power that he's aware of. He doesn't think of it as a superpower though, or a metagene. He considers it more of a gift he inherited from his grandmother.
His food heals people.
Well … kind of, not really.
People who eat food he makes don't actually heal any faster. They heal better. By this I mean the members of the bat family have far fewer scars than really should have for being in the business they've been in for as long as they have. Every single member of the bat family has been hit by so many different injuries or chemical weapons that they really should have had permanent side effects crop up by now. Honestly, they should be in chronic pain whenever the weather changes. Heck Batman broke his back, he should probably been on painkillers for life after that, but after he actually healed up he rarely even remembers it anymore. To be completely honest this is probably the most useful power the entire family has at their disposal and only Alfred knows about it.
   🦇
Dick has a pretty useful power as well except he has no idea he has it.
Nightwing has featherfall.
By which I mean he has the ability to, no matter what height he falls from, slow down just enough before he hits the ground so he doesn't kill himself. A very appropriate power to have for a child of trapeze artists. But he has no idea. Anytime he's been he's fallen from a great height he's always had options to help him out. Such as grappling hooks or gliders or even a friend who can fly to catch him. It probably wouldn’t matter if he found out about it, him falling has never been his worry anyway. His nightmares are always been about other people falling.
   🦇
Barbara does know about her ability and she's pretty sure she got it from her dad.
She has the ability to make sour things taste sweet. (Like what those miracle berries can do.)
But only for her, she can't do it for other people. She never brought it up but she has noticed she takes her coffee the exact same way as Commissioner Gordon. Very bitter without any sugar. Maybe she can turn this power off, otherwise there's a lot of desserts that would become incredibly cloying and sweet. Obviously, she has never mentioned this before as it is an entirely and utterly useless power to have. But she has fully bitten into a lemon to freak people out or for a bet. Tastes kind of like an orange.
   🦇
Jason also has a power he knows about and considers equally useless.
He can change the colour of his hair.
What he can't change is how fast it grows. (This is obviously inspired by the comic run where he's ginger).
If he thinks of a colour he wants his hair to be before he goes to bed any amount his hair grows that night is going to be that colour. Which means if he concentrates, he can change his hair colour for however long it takes to his hair grow out. Obviously this takes a while so he usually doesn’t bother. He got a hair colour he considers his default and leaves it at that.
After he came back from the back from the dead, whether it's thanks to magic or trauma, his default hair colour now has the patch of white. He can still change the colour and the white hair actually changes a lot quicker than his regular hair, but of course it also loses it colour quicker as well. So if he's not paying attention or gets distracted by something for a while the white hair comes back. (This is my way of explaining the inconsistencies of the white streak in the comics.)
   🦇
Tim has a pretty handy power but, like Dick and Bruce, he has no idea.
He is some poison/toxicity resistance.
You would think this would be something that Batman would have picked up on but every member of the bat family eventually gets that level of poison/toxicity resistance just from fighting villains with so many chemical weapons. The difference is that when the batfam build up their resistance they have access to antidotes and various things in the Bat Cave. Whereas Tim had his resistance before he came Robin. It's a good thing too, because him running around trying to take pictures of Gotham’s nightlife probably would have resulted in his death otherwise. He’s gotten a little too close to more than one Rouge attack. This is also the reason why he hasn't poisoned himself with caffeine overdose.
   🦇
Stephanie has better than average night vision. She has no idea this is a power rather than just good eyesight but she has better eyesight than anyone else without equipment. It’s not see-in-total-darkness night vision but she can see more details and in colour for longer in dim light. This helped her a lot on nights when she was running around before she got access to bat stuff to help her. Of course, after that the night vision available in her mask is way better than her natural vision.
   🦇
Cassandra does have a power she is aware of her but since her body language reading is so much more impressive it’s not something that’s come up. She has the power of silence. Anything under a certain noise threshold that she's making she can silence completely. It requires her ninja training first since even a whisper is too loud, but anything under that she can make it so you can't hear her no matter how good your hearing is. This does mean she is able to sneak up on people with superhearing and they can't even hear her heartbeat. Superman’s never noticed since she's too polite to do it on her allies and they have never teamed up in any situation where he would have noticed. She does use it to troll her siblings though.
   🦇
Damien suspects somehow his power was given to him by his grandfather as heir to the Demon Head. He’s never asked in case he it was supposed to be more impressive than it is. He can sense large bodies of water. It means he always knows where the Lazarus pit is when it's nearby but that's not very helpful when it's always guarded and in a maze of tunnels. He can kind of sense the difference between the Lazarus pit and regular water but he's not sure he's able to tell the difference in between, say sea water and lake water. Mainly because by the time he's close enough to the sea to realize it with his power he's also already spotted seagulls and/or smelled salt in the air so he doesn't know how much of this is his natural observation skills and how much is the power. He can, if he concentrates really hard, detect water as small as in a cup. He cannot detect water in people, which he is very annoyed by because that at least would be useful. People may be 90% water but it's spread out too much for his power to kick in. The only possible practical use of this power obviously is if he's stumbling around the desert but for any other occasion it's such a mind numbingly useless power he will never bring it up.
   🦇
Duke Thomas already know his powers and he actually reaches the higher threshold to be considered a metahuman, so no surprise there.
Of course, as far as everyone's concerned, he's the only member of the bat family with powers.

Batman #125 *Spoilers*
Hey, I know everyone is mostly reacting to what happened to Tim; but let's not forget another important aspect:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
...we just lost another major Batman villain- and one of the main ones, at that!
First Deadshot and Manbat- though I'll resurrect them to full health, in my RP'S-, then Anarky, Hugo Strange, Ra's Al Ghul and now Penguin?!!!
He**! In her new series; even Poison Ivy states that she's either dying or is planning to commit suicide by mass genocide- probably the latter.
Man; Batman's rogues are dropping like flies, out here!
I'm not gonna bring up any deaths from "Task Force Z"; because as far as I'm concerned, it's an unofficial "Black Label" series.
But back to the topic: DC you need to stop killing Batman's Rogues, okay?
They are one of the handful of aspects, that makes Batman an interesting Superhero.
And while you're at it; bring back some of Batman's old Gold-Silver Age Rogues, as well- with new looks, of course.
But back to the main topic; a moment of silence for Oswald Cobblepot.
You were a great Batman villain and you gave us great stories.
You will be missed- assuming that you're actually dead!
You probably are, though.
Mercury poisoning is no joke.
Maybe next time, have your chef cook your fish, before you eat it!
I mean; just because you're named after a water bird that eats raw fish, doesn't mean you have to do it too, Ozzie! You Knob!
I mean look at Catwoman! She dresses as an animal that eats raw fish; but she still has the common sense, to eat her seafood cooked- most of the time.
Sushi is a thing; and you can bet that she occasionally indulges, in it.
But you have no excuse, Penguin!
Sorry...had to say all that.
It's tragic that he died, but still!
And for him; it wasn't even sushi, either!
Dude would straight up take a whole raw fish and actually chomp down on it- scales and all!
And in large amounts, as well!
Honestly; I'm actually surprised that he didn't die from Mercury poisoning, sooner.
Come to think of it; I'm also surprised that he wasn't dying from long-term Hypothermia- assuming that the temperature of his Iceberg Lounge was always freezing, which it probably wasn't.
I'm also surprised; that it wasn't diabetes, sirois, lung cancer or a clogged artery, that was doing him in.
Or even a combination of all four- with both Mercury Poisoning and that Cyanide capsule, added at the end.
Talk about a "Sinister Six" XD - oh right, DC Comics.
Not to mention; he also had a short fuse, brought on by his many complexes- including his Napoleon Complex! XD
So it is mindboggling; how anger-fueled strokes and aneurisms, weren't even a death factor for him, when #125 was being made.
But seriously. Penguin should have been dying from those four, that I listed , considering how Ozzie indulged in so much rich and fatty foods, copious amounts of alcohol and excess tobacco, over the years...
Not to mention; I don't think we ever saw him do any form of excercise, in the comics- not to lose weight, but to make sure his ticker and joints, were still working, perfectly.
And now that I'm thinking about it; he probably never brushed his teeth, after stuffing his face, either...🤢
No wonder his lips and saliva were always black, in the movie Batman Returns and in later comics...
Oh God! And he probably forced all his female workers and escorts to kiss him! 🤮
I'm pretty sure they all contracted something, afterwards! 😂
And he was supposed to be "The Gentleman of Crime?" 🤣
Ozzie; you were a gross Human being, with a short fuse, a vindictive attitude and a penchant for physically, mentally, emotionally and socially disfiguring anyone, who had the misfortune of crossing your "Socio-Path"- shout out to Rick Sanchez, for that term-, and doing anything, you saw as an attack, on your fragile ego!
You made a number of bad choices- especially in terms of personal health-, and all of Gotham City won't miss you, one bit- the citizens may remember you a lot and some may even finally get to safely mock you and produce a lot of stuff, in the media, to make you a fixture, in Gotham and cement your legacy...but they most certainly will not miss you!
Ohhh, I like how minutes ago; I was "soft-mourning" Ozzie's death, and now I'm just taking a massive dump, on his grave...
But considering what just happened to Tim- and right after Pride Month, too-; I'm probably the first of many, who will be doing that.
I guess you could say that we'll all be roasting him!
His goose has already been cooked, so why not. XD
Nevertheless; R.I.P. Oswald Cobblepot. AKA, "The Penguin"- "Detective Comics #58, 1941" - "Batman #125, 2022".
Thank you for being a great Batman villain and for making an umbrella of all personal items, one of the many symbols of fear, in Gotham- Oh! And for helping keep the top hat, monocle and tuxedo outfit, in fashion.
Diamond Jim Brady, would be proud:
Tumblr media
Also P.S.; in the backup story, with Catwoman...
Tumblr media
...yeah.
Silver lining, though; we may get to see Ethan Cobblepot, again- assuming DC remembers, that he exists.
(( To the following accounts:
@multi-muse-transect
@darkknightofgotham
@yellowskinnedwackyman
@trenhead
Please reblog this makeshift eulogy/roast, so it can be shared around the Batman/Comic Book community, on here.
Thanks. 😁👍))

(Part 1) (Part 2) (Part 3) (Part 4) (Part 5) (Part 6)
Chapter 5: Don't Jinx It!
·•·—–·•†•·–—·•·
Chloé Bourgeois... A girl that can be described in many words
"She's absolutely ridiculous! I can't believe you have to do an art project with her of all people!" - Alix sprawled out on Marinette's balcony
"She can't be that bad, besides we might become friends." - Marinette sketching some designs
"Believe me, even I think she's a bit much... She's snobby, annoying, rude, immature, spoiled, she basically has the “I'm better than thow” attitude to a T."- Kagami sitting next to the flowerbed while reading a literature book
"See? Even Kagami agrees... Just don't talk to her, actually don't even move if you're in her sights. She's like a T-Rex, she can't see you if you don't move." - Alix
… … … … …
"Hello, I'm Marinette, it's nice to meet you." - Marinette reached out her hand as she smiled
*Que Alix facepalming herself while Kagami lets out a sigh*
"Whatever, I'm Chloé, but I'm sure you already knew that." - Chloé
They started their project and most interactions went the same way, Chloé would sit in a chair near the window and paint her nails while Marinette did all the work. The next day Marinette and Chloé were the only ones in the art room.
"Okay, let's get started." - Marinette skipping her way over to the art supplies
"You do that, I'll just sit over here." - Chloé walking to her chair
"... Say, is it fun painting your nails?" - Marinette looking over to Chloé
"Of course, what girl doesn't like nail art?" - Chloé
"Well, painting on a canvas is kind of like nail art, here try painting something." - Marinette handing Chloé a paint brush
"Please, I don't do art." - Chloé refusing the paint brush
"But you ‘Paint’ your nails." - Marinette
"It's different!" - Chloé
"Okay, how about this, if I can do a magic trick for you, will you try painting just a little bit?" - Marinette
"...Fine, impress me." - Chloé giving Marinette her full attention
Marinette pulled a seed she got earlier that day out of her pocket and showed it to Chloé
"A seed?" - Chloé giving an unimpressed look
"I'll turn it into a flower, as you can see I only have this seed, and there's nothing up my sleeves. When I turn back around this seed will be a flower, are you ready?" - Marinette still holding the seed for Chloé to see
"Just do it already." - Chloé
So, Marinette turned around putting her free hand over the seed, and imagined it growing. When Marinette turned back around, all Chloé saw was a fully bloomed Common Rockrose flower, leaving her stunned.
"How did you do that?!" - Chloé walking up to Marinette to get a better look at the flower
"Family secret." - Marinette with a small smirk - "So, you want to try painting now?"
"... Fine." - Chloé pouted her lips and sat down at an empty canvas while Marinette walked to the table beside it, and Marinette may or may not have seen a small smile on Chloé's face while she grabbed some more paint.
After about 30 minutes Alix and Kagami came in and found Chloé and Marinette flinging water paint at the canvas
"Ha!" - Marinette whiped her arm out, watching as the wet paint from the brush splattered onto the canvas
"Ha HA!" - Chloé doing the exact same motion, but with a little more flare
Kagami and Alix just stared in amazed silence... they had created a master piece... It was a magnificent painting showing a meadow with many flowers in an almost hazy dream kind of look,  it had a blue sky and a faint rainbow in the background behind some clouds on the horizon
Tumblr media
"It's *sniff* Ridiculously beautiful..." - Chloé
"And you thought painting was boring." - Marinette teasing Chloé
"... Isley-Quinzel, look me in the face and say that again." - Chloé
"And you- ("Boop" - Chloé) -Hey!" - Marinette got booped on her nose by Chloé's paint covered finger
"I admit it was fun... to some extent. Now lets act like this never happened." - Chloé getting ready to leave
"How the hell did you get Chloé to paint?!" - Alix snapping out of her surprise, which caused Chloé to get startled and trip, knocking the paint onto Marinette and herself in the process
"Well... that was a colorful entrance." - Marinette now covered in blue, pink, green and red paint
"Utterly Ridiculous!" - Chloé now covered in yellow, dark green, and blue paint
"Ooops?" - Alix shrugging her shoulders
*facepalms* - Kagami
… … …
Marinette and Chloé had to walk around school covered in paint, definitely getting a few awkward stares from the other kids. About an hour later, each pair of students presented their shared work of art. When Marinette and Chloé went up, both holding their masterpiece while still covered in paint, stunned the other students.(Not because Chloé was 1. covered in paint, 2. actually carrying the painting, and 3. had a smile on her face) Needless to say they got an A+, and for the rest of the day Marinette, Chloé, Alix and Kagami hung out laughing and having fun. Not long after that the other kids started making bets on who Marinette would befriend next, and how long it would take for that someone to be an instant friend.
Chloé ended up spending a lot more time with the GPS and eventually...
The girls sat around in a circle within Marinette's room with all the lights off, only having a single lamp in the center of the room to add an ominous glow
"Are you ready to take the oath?" - Alix
"Yes, but why do we have to make it look like some utterly ridiculous ritual summoning?" - Chloe
"I agree with Chloé, I'm not allowed to summon the unnatural or paranormal." - Kagami
"Well, let's forget the paranormal stuff for now, ehem. Chloé Bourgeois, do you promise to always have our backs..." - Marinette
"Through the good and the bad..." - Alix
"To say the truth and nothing but the truth." - Kagami
"Wrong oath Kagami." - Marinette whispering to Kagami
"...... To always stay on the path that is straight and true..." - Kagami
"To uphold the justice in this crazy world..." - Alix
"And to guide those who have abandoned the light... Are you ready to join the GPS?" - Marinette
"Yes." - Chloé
"Girls, time to eat- ... Marinette, please tell me you aren't summoning the unnatural like Harley did that one time." - Selina just opening the door and seeing basically a ritual gathering
"In mom's defense, she was trying to get rid of the spooky spirit." - Marinette
"That was from a story Ed made up that one time, you wouldn't stop seeing the shadows ‘moving’, and then Harley thought she saw them move, and she ended up doing a ritual to get rid of it, but we ended up with the cursed toaster ghost. And now all bread we toast is burnt back home." - Selina
"... But burnt toast is the best!" - Marinette
"Ivy told you that it would make you grow quicker, which then tricked you into liking burnt toast, which isn't tasty at all." - Selina
"*dramatic gasp* You Take That Back!" - Marinette
"Nope, now come down in 3 so we can eat." - Selina closed the door and walked away
"You girls agree with me right?" - Marinette turning to her friends
"... Marinette, how can you think burnt toast is good?!" - Alix
"It's... burnt." - Kagami
"Ehhh, it's okay." - Chloé
"Thank You!" - Marinette hugging Chloé
"... un-second thought, I retract my ‘yes’ to that oath." - Chloé
"Too late." - Kagami
"You're stuck with us..." - Alix then leaned over and whispered in Chloé's ear - "Foreverrrrr."
……… ……… ………
After they had their food they went back up to Marinette's (ritual free) room and started playing Ultimate Mecha Strike 2.
After a few rounds of Marinette dominating Ultimate Mecha Slaughter Strike 2, they moved on to watching some Jurassic Park
"So... your mom cursed your toaster?" - Chloé
"... maybe." - Marinette
"Honestly though, who in their right mind likes burnt toast?" - Alix
"Apparently Marinette." - Kagami
"It's kinda like thin burnt rice crispy treats, just minus the sugar." - Marinette
"*dramatic gasp* You Take That Back Right Now." - Alix
"You don't even know what rice crispy treats are, do you." - Marinette now looking away from the TV and directly at Alix
"Not a clue." - Alix
"It's an American treat, it's actually really good, not to sweet, and not to crunchy." - Chloé
"This is why you are part of the GPS." - Marinette hugging Chloé - "You understand most red blooded American treats, and for that I give you my thanks." - Marinette now starting to tear up
"What are we, chop liver?" - Kagami pointing to Alix and herself
"Well unlike you two, I have seen the other side... I swear, they're all hillbillies, and they live in the worst weather ever! Sunshine state my ass, more like out door saunas 24/7." - Chloé ended up mumbling her last few words
"... That's Florida, and it's not that bad, it never gets hotter than 115°F, and that's during summer." - Marinette
"... No wonder you like burnt toast... your brains were burnt with it." - Alix
"I didn't live in Florida, I lived in New Jersey, and the weather is better there." - Marinette
"That's what she said." - Kagami stuffing her face with popcorn
……… ……… ………
Over the course of the next few months Marinette taught the GPS all she knew about parkour and self-defense, at first they wondered why she knew so many different techniques of self-defense, until she explained where she grew up had a few unpleasant people. They still think she's meta.
When Winter rolled around she was to head back to Gotham for the next month and a half. She was packed and ready when the GPS burst into her room.
"Don't leave! I need an Ice skating buddie!" - Alix clinging to Marinette
"You have Chloé and Kagami, besides, I'm pretty sure Kagami is better on the ice than I am." - Marinette accepting the fact she won't be getting Alix off her anytime soon
"It's Not The Same!" - Alix becoming a human koala on Marinette's back
"She's going to see her family, show some restraint!" - Chloé detaching Alix from Marinette
"No!" - Alix getting out of Chloé's grip and reattaching herself to Marinette
"There's a new attraction with a big ramp jump for the ice skating rink." - Kagami on her phone
"Really?! Let me see!" - Alix detaching herself to look at Kagami's phone, only to see the normal boring ice skating rink - "You tricked me." - Alix gave Kagami the stink eye
"It got you off of Marinette at least." - Kagami putting her phone away
"I'm gonna miss you girls." - Marinette gave them a big hug
"You better not do anything stupid while you're back home." - Chloé
"I would never." - Marinette thinking of the time she ran from the Bat-Birds
"What city in New Jersey do you live in again?" - Alix
"That's-" - Marinette
"Kitten you all set for Gotham?" - Selina opened the door and saw Marinette in a big hug with the girls - "Oh, you girls are here, hope you said your goodbyes because we're leaving in 10 minutes." - She then closed the door to make sure everything was ready downstairs
"... ... ..." - Chloé/Alix/Kagami - "You live where?"
"Gotham...?" - Marinette slowly backing up to grab her luggage and make her way to the door
"Oh hell No!" - Kagami standing between Marinette and the door
"You're staying!" - Alix clinging to Marinette again
"Gotham's a death trap!!!" - Chloé joining Alix and clinging to Marinette
... ... ...
After some convincing the girls let Marinette go, and she was now on the plane that would take her back home.
"... They really think Gotham's a death trap?" - Selina relaxing in the first class seats she got them.
"It's not that bad is it? I had asked them what they thought could even go wrong." - Marinette
"... Well literally everything can go wrong in Gotham... It's not to late to get off actually." - Selina getting up
"Not you too!" - Marinette grabbing her Aunt's hand
"I'm joking Kitten... you are wearing the bullet proof vest under that coat right?" - Selina
"Of course." - Marinette
"Then we should be fine..." - Selina now sitting back down and looking 10 times more nervous than before
"..." - Marinette put her hands together and mumbled under her breath - "Please don't jinx it. Please don't jinx it. Please don't jinx it. Pleeeeease don't jinx it."
……………… They had an hour delay, had to switch flights and couldn't eat anything because it looked like it would give them food poisoning, and they didn't get a wink of sleep......... but they made it to Gotham in one piece... at 2 in the morning.
"You jinxed it." - Marinette dragging her luggage sleepily
"It can't get any worse now-" - Selina
"No!-" - As Marinette tried to stop her Aunt from finishing her sentence, a truck past by the curb and sent a blanket of powdered snow flying into them - "-say it..."
"...Okay, now it-" - Selina was cut off by Marinette stuffing her mouth with the last secret cookie she had
"Don't anger the jinx gods, please." - Marinette pleading to her Aunt
After Selina finished the secret cookie she called Ivy to pick them up. They waited about 15 minutes before Ivy, along with a sleeping Harley in the back seat, picked them up. As they got in the car Harley jolted awake
"Are we dere yet?" - Harley rubbing her eyes
"Yes, and in our snow covered glory we entered the car." - Marinette giving her mom a hug
"I missed yuh so much, it just hasn't been de same wit'outcha cupcake." - Harley returning the hug
"And what about me, did you miss me?" - Selina getting comfortable in the passenger seat
"Ehhh." - Harley tilted here hand from side to side as she continued to side hug Marinette
"... Have I ever told you how great you are at warm welcomes?" - Selina giving Harley the stink eye
"She didn't mean it, you know she has no filter at this hour." - Ivy pulling up to the stoplight
"In other words her honest opinion of me being back is ‘ehhh’, I'm glad she thinks so highly of me." - Selina resting her head on the window
The ride to their base was peaceful, they arrived and went to their rooms after Marinette gave her moms and aunt a goodnight hug. As Marinette went to sleep in her bed, Bud and Lou jumped onto the bed and curled up next to her, as she stroked their fur, she couldn't help but feel excited to spend time with her family and friends. She soon fell asleep in the calm silence of her room, the last thought she had before drifting off, was that she was happy to be back home.

I just saw that picture you drew of Axe and OH MY GOD! It's so good! >//////<
Oh, and those families you made for all the skeletons are super cute! Could you tell me about them? 🥺
@mmhinman drew that for me it's so cute as for the families.
Axe's and Amelia's offspring
Chance is Axe's first born son he was named Chance due to the fact Axe didn't know if he could father a child. Chance was born a full skeleton due to his mom using her soul to reflect the monster she loves. Chance has an eye socket problem like his dad but unlike his dad he got his eye socket problem due to a complication of his birth. Axe was relieved that both his mate and child were safe after the scare. Chance loves fishing and planting things. He also loves bugger catching. He prefers to listen to jazz while he maps out stars. Chance drives a red pick up truck and likes to explore woods and caves and pretty much anywhere he can go. He loves audio books and loves to read to his siblings. Chance is 19 years old.
Miracle and Alex are twins and have many physical disabilities. Miracle has a skeleton eye and she can use magic but has very little magic. She can't summon attacks but she can summon shields and she has a butt load of healing magic. Miracle was named miracle because Axe couldn't believe he could have such a miracle. She is Axe's favorite child and she takes after her Dad she loves carrying around a small axe and likes making humans feel creeped out. She loves her momma and her Uncle Jupes she likes to hunt and climb trees. She wants to learn about birds because she wants to know how it feels to fly. Alex is considered a miracle boy he was born without his left arm and he is considered one of the "normal" ones out of his family. He is polite and soft spoken. He doesn't like violence or hunting or fishing or trapping. He likes drawing playing music and creating puzzles Miracle likes to pick on Alex for not liking to hunt with her and Dad but Alex would rather plant food then to hunt for it. He considers himself a vegetarian he take iron supplements and he and Axe get into heated arguments about his pickiness towards his food. Miracle and Alex are both 16 years old.
Gotham is the first font name Axe has given a son of his. Axe is now less paranoid about his children dusting or dying in front of him. Gotham was born a skeleton monster again Axe's mate wanted to have a child that reflected her love towards Axe. This time though her pregnancy went perfect and no birth defects happened. Gotham is a newborn and is attached to either Uncle Jupes or momma hip. He likes to gnaw on his mom though which cause Axe to worry so Axe tends to over feed his mate due to Gotham's teething. Gotham is only two months old.
Red and Kiki's offsprings
Adam human mage Red's first born is a powerful mage he can summon a bone scythe and Gaster Blasters he can use healing magic and plant magic. Adam can also commune with animals. Monsters don't come around the skeleton due to both Edge and Adam and Red since they have a protective gene. Adam loves music and plays the drums in his free time he also works as a mechanic he is 17 and he drives a 1977 red Firebird Pontiac he keeps his car in mint condition.
Ace is a skeleton monster even though his mom is human he didn't get any of her human traits just the magic within her soul he can use blue magic and gravity magic and his magic weapon is red mace he can also form into red whip. Ace likes playing card games and hustling he is very rebellious and gets into constant fights and trouble he has a very dirty potty mouth and likes to flirt with any pretty lady he lays sockets on. Ace favorite card is the ace of spades and he loves to gamble even though he is a minor. He loves to play bass in his band called The Undead Heads. He makes sure his sister Ember is safe like his big bro told him to do even though he can't stand watching her all the time.
Ember is a human skeleton hybrid and has many physical disabilities socket eye is partially blind due to humans throwing salt in her socket. She is a very rare hybrid and she can dust like any monster can she has her dad's shortcut ability and her insides are made of magic but her outward appearance makes her look human. Red collared Ember to make sure monsters and humans like know if someone goes after her the Serif family will hunt them down. She is Red's precious baby girl and is very very careful with she gained her Dad's cursed low HP which is why Red keeps her closer than all of his other children. Ember is 9.
Jayson is a skeleton monster like his brother Ace but is a genius he is master at his own magic and can create fire magic, he has shortcutting like his Dad and can summon Gaster Blasters he also has the ability to Judge. His weapon unlike his brothers are dual chain axes. He loves training and loves torture and puns and he genius level intelligent and he is only 4. He also plays the violin. He loves his sister Ember for her kindness and tolerates his brother Ace even though he thinks him more brutish and neanderthal and very interested in Adam's abilities and he respects his eldest brother even though he considered a mage to all the monsters.
Blue and Stretch's offspring with Violet
Abram is a human skeleton hybrid and he has breathing problems due to having a skeleton jaw and throat. He was giving a breathing apparatus by Undyne and the moment of his conception. Abram can cast orange magic bones and his magic weapon is a baseball bat. His personality is more like Stretch due to both his parents were trying to figure out the right schedule for them and him so most of the time he was babysat by Stretch. He is 15 years old and he like to play acoustic guitar. He likes to ride around on his orange motorbike and likes to hang around at the mall.
Airy is a skeleton human hybrid and they are nonbinary. They were born male but they prefer not to be label by any genders. They like their brother Abram have breathing issues due to having a human jaw and throat and like their brother they received a breathing apparatus at birth so not to die. Airy loves fashion, EDM and their magic is unstable but they can use blue attacks and bones their very good at puzzles and very athletic even with their disability. They are often bully at school but they don't let it get them since their confidence knows no bounds. Airy is 14 and they like getting rides from Blue and Abram.
Justine is a human skeleton hybrid she was born bald and her hair has never grown in she use her magic to make ecto hair so she feels somewhat pretty even though her Dad and mom give her all the praise in the world she feels self conscious from her appearance her socket is also isn't magical she puts in a fake eye. Justine is a very shy and very smart girl but she is very self conscious she likes art and music. She also likes to perform in plays. She plays the piano and figure skates. Justine is 12.
Cin was born of Stretch and Violet due to Stretch becoming very depressed and distant and Blue couldn't stand watching his brother dissolve into dust. Blue tried getting him into a relationship but no one he set him up with worked so Blue came up with the brilliant idea of sharing his mate with his brother. As it turns out Violet was perfect for Stretch making him happy and helping him out with his depression when they discussed to have a baby together Blue was of course involved with the discussion. Cin is a newborn and has no problems and stable magic he has no physical disabilities like his cousins but he is the precious cinnamon roll everyone loves. Cin is a very happy baby bones and loves to gnaw on Stretch's phalanges and pull on his mom's hair. His magic color is cyan and orange.

PUPPY LOVE D.W.
Summary: Dogs always know best, you learned that pretty quickly. Little bit Older!Damian x reader
Warning: Nothing,
A/N: I love Damian but also I feel like I can’t write him to save my life so I’m not really sure what tf this is but oh well.
Also I expected maybe two or three likes on my tim imagine and the fact I got 20x as many notes as I expected makes my heart 🥺🥺🥺 thank you guys💕
picture not mine
Word count: 3.1k
Tumblr media
You met Damian Wayne at the dog park in Gotham.
As first encounters go, that one had to have been at the bottom of your list of being enjoyable. His dog, which you had later discovers his name was Titus, was huge. He was a Great Dane and nothing less of a giant. You were surprised that Damian, as short as he was, was able to hold onto the leash when Titus tugged on it.
It wasn't the fact that Titus was huge, it was that your dog was little. If there was one thing that everyone knew about little dogs, it was that they had to find the biggest dog in the area and pick a fight. That was exactly what your little Terrier did.
You had let him off his leash so that you could play fetch with him but he quickly lost interest in the ball and more interest in the black Dane. Your dog barked and nipped at the legs of his dog until you ran over to snatch him up. What made the matter worse, was that it had to be the son of Bruce Wayne.
Damian pulled his own dog away from yours in hopes to protect him. The two of them were acting very calm about the situation while you were freaking out and struggling to hold you pup. He continued to bark until you finally held him mouth shut and chastised him to be quiet, thankfully he listened.
"I am so sorry," You finally looked over at Damian. He patted the top of his dog's head, who had sat right at his side. The Great Dane looked much more well behaved than your own dog. "Is your dog alright? Terry doesn't usually do this I have no idea where it came from, really."
Damian did a look over of his dog and ordered him to jump and twist. The movement proved that he was perfectly fine. You sighed with relief. "You named your terrier, Terry?" It was the first time that he had spoke to you since the encounter. A slight blush rose to your cheeks as you realized that he was mocking you.
"Yes," you mustered up all the confidence you could get. He didn't say anything but made a small noise that you barely picked up on. You took that as your cue to leave. "I'm sorry about him," you apologized once more and decided that it was time to leave the dog park before another mishap occurred.
You had heard about Damian before, everyone in Gotham had. The son of Bruce Wayne that he didn’t know about until after a decade. You knew that you were the same age as him and you also knew by his pictures in the paper that he was very attractive. Seeing him in person proved that the pictures didn’t do justice.
Damian watched you walk away with a smile threatening to escape his lips. Terry the Terrier, what a joke. Yet, he thought the name was cute, but he also thought that Terry’s owner, was cuter.
The moment that you and Terry were in your car, you slumped your head back on the head rest. That was an awful first meeting, especially with someone like him. You looked over at your dog, who was looking up at you with his tongue hanging out and you could swear he was smiling.
"He was cute, wasn't he?" You spoke to Terry. To your surprise, he barked back at you. "As glad as I am that you gave me an excuse to talk to him, you ruined it by attacking his dog so why should I care?"
><
The next time you saw Damian, you were walking through the park with Terry. It was a hot sunny day in Gotham, which didn't happen very often. Jean shorts showed off your legs and sunglasses rested on your nose. It was rare to see days like those and you planned to make the most of the outdoors.
You were in your own world when you heard your dog barking. Terry rarely barked for no reason so there had to have been something that set him off. Unfortunately, as you looked around, you saw a familiar Great Dane. Before Terry could try and pull the leash over to Damian and his dog, you snatched him up under your arm.
There was no way that you were willing to risk embarrassing yourself twice in front of the youngest Wayne. So, trying to avoid another encounter, you kept your head straight and walked along the path. Besides, you doubted that he would even recognize you after your brief meeting all those weeks ago.
That didn't mean that his dog didn't know yours or Terry's scent. Titus let out a loud bark that caught your attention and nearly made you jump. You had just passed by where Damian was sitting on the bench and turned back to see that he was already looking at you. Terry managed to wiggle out of your arms and onto the ground.
"Terry," You scolded.
"No, it's okay," Damian approached you. "Titus was the one to bark, it is not yours, or your dogs, fault." This time, the dogs only sniffed each other rather than attacking. A small break from the aggression that Terry was showing before.
"I don't know why he's so interested in - Titus," you hesitated to repeat the name of his dog, unsure if you heard him correctly. Damian picked up on your pause and nodded to confirm that you were correct. "We go for walks every day and he never gets worked up over seeing another dog."
To be honest, you were glad that Titus had noticed you. You didn’t want to have Terry cause another scene with them or go up to him out of the blue, yet you still wanted to talk to Damian. You were intrigued by him, the son of the richest man in the city and you kept finding him in the same places that you liked to be.
"TT, Titus never barks," Damian agreed with your guys' dogs behavior. It was unusual. He looked down at your dog, and slowly dragged his gaze up your legs until he finally met your eyes. A faint blush covered his cheeks but in the bright sunlight, you didn’t notice. "I never learned your name last time."
"(Y/N)," You told him, sticking your hand out for him to shake. He paused for a moment before doing so and introducing himself. Of course, you already knew this but didn't say anything. "It's nice to meet you Damian. Sorry to disturb your afternoon, again."
"Nonsense," he told you. To be honest, he was quite glad that Titus grabbed you attention once more. He was curious to learn who you were after your first meeting with him. It was rare for someone to talk to him like a normal human, and as much as you were nervous around him, you tried to be normal.
"Um, I was just headed to get some iced coffee if you wanted to join me," You hesitantly asked. "Not that you have to or anything, but Terry looks like he has a crush on you and I wouldn't want to break his little heart." It was true, your dog had moved on from Titus and to the blood son himself.
However, you didn’t want to tell him that you too, wanted to spend a couple more minutes with him, at least. It wasn’t just your dog that was beginning to crush on him, you were pretty sure that you were too. It was strange, you barely even knew him and yet you couldn’t help but want to spend a few fleeing moments with him.
Terry had started my sniffing around Damian's ankles, to walking between his legs and getting the leash all wrapped around him. Once he had finally found the perfect spot, he started up at Damian with the same kind of look that he gave you when you were holding a treat.
Damian got out of the maze of rope and knelt down to scratch Terry's belly, who had licked his hand the moment it came near. You swore you saw him smile at the interaction.
While Terry was getting attention from Damian, Titus decided that he wanted you to scratch by his ears. He nudged your hand with his nose and you quickly took the hint.
"It is a beautiful day out to go get iced coffee," Damian agreed. "And you're right, I wouldn't want to break Terry's heart either.

You had gotten Damian's number that day. He told you that if you ever wanted to see Titus or have a puppy play date then you should give him a call. Of course, you were surprised to see the son of Bruce Wayne give away his cell phone number so easily to someone that he barely knew.
After getting your drinks, the two of you sat out in the sun and chatter about your dogs, school, and the tiniest bit about family. All you knew was that he had a lot of brothers that often got on his nerves and of course who his father was.
By the time that Terry was wining at you to go home, you both decided that it was time to depart. Damian patted Terry once more and bid goodbye. Titus licked your hand before leaving as well. You walked in opposite direction but you couldn't help but feel a little excited for whenever your next meeting would be.
The contact sat in your phone, untouched and not thought about again for weeks. After the first few days of debating whether or not to text him, you had gotten busy with school work and his number became the least of your worries. It wasn't until you saw Bruce on the TV did you remember that you had his number.
You texted him on Saturday morning asking if he wanted to meet up at the same dog park that you both met. He texted back rather fast agreeing to the plans and that he would see you that afternoon.
Which was why you had gone through seven outfits before deciding on the perfect casual and cute look. This wasn't a date, not even close to one, but this was also Damian Wayne, the same guy that wore expensive cashmere as a causal look. You wanted to look a little bit nice if you were going to be seen with him.
Ten minutes before he was supposed to arrive, you sat in your car talking to Terry. It was a habit that you gained from spending a little too much time by yourself. Then again, was there better company than your dog?
"This isn't a date, Terry. This is two friends meeting up because we both have dogs," you looked over at him. "Damian comes from a completely different world than us anyways, it's never going to happen, as much as you and I would like it to."
Once again, Terry barked at you in response. With a sigh, you left your car and walked over to the entrance of the park. Damian wasn't there yet but your dog was a little to excited to just sit and wait. You settled with letting him off leash and throwing his ball for him to fetch.
Terry came racing past you at such high speeds you didn't think he was going to be able to stop. And he hadn't, he went running past your spot and right towards Damian. You rolled your eyes at your dog. By his attitude, you were starting to think Terry liked Damian more than you.
"Hello, (Y/N)," Damian joined you. It didn't take long for your dogs to go play together and the two of you stood side by side watching them. You didn't quite trust Terry enough to not keep an eye on him.
He held a small frame in his hand and you wondered what it could be. Damian noticed your eyes it and handed it over to you. "I saw this the other day and thought of Terry."
It was a small framed picture of a hand drawn terrier and painted with water colours. It was beautiful. Damian would never admit to you that he didn’t buy it, but painted it himself. "It's yours."
He pushed the gift a little closer to you until you grabbed it. "Thank you, Damian. It's beautiful."
"You're welcome," he nodded. If there was one thing you quickly noticed about him, it was that he was a man of few words. He choose his words precisely and accurately. "How has school been?"
You were in the same grade as him, but different high schools. While he went to a private school, you weren't quite a privileged and had to go to a public school. It was fine, but university out of the city was calling your name and the time couldn’t pass by any slower.
"Busy," you shrugged. Truth be told you barely had time for anything. This was the first free moment you had in weeks and somehow you managed to spend it with Damian. "How about you?"
"Busy," he raised an eyebrow at you, the hint of a smirk on his lips. He was mocking you, again. "Do you have plans? After graduation?"
"Central City," you told him. "I want to go to school there for -"
You never got to finish your sentence. The two of you had lost track of your dogs and neither of you had noticed Titus barreling towards you. There was no way you could have moved in time or that he was going to stop.
Titus towered over you as he jumped towards you. You braved yourself to hit the grass but it had never come. Instead arms caught you and steadied you back on your feet. Damian managed to keep you from falling with amazing strengthens lightning quick reflexes.
He didn't let go of you like expected. Instead he looked at the growing wonder in your eyes and the realization of how close you were. You swore that he could hear your heart thumping in your chest.
Both your dogs barked at you and brought you out of the brief moment. Damian dropped his arms and you awkwardly stepped back. You straightened your clothing and tried to tame the bright flush that rose up your neck. Damian cleared his throat and put his hands in his pockets.
"Thanks, for the save."

You kept the picture that Damian gave you on your desk in your room. Your mother, who always snooped through your room was quick to find it. She asked where you had found such a beautiful painting and after a moment of debating, you chose to tell her the truth. You were friends with Damian Wayne.
Growing up, you always figured that your mother had a little bit of a crush on Bruce Wayne. How could she not? He was rich, attractive, a great business man, he was perfect. You and your mother kept that little secret from your father - who you also suspected the attraction.
So when you told her that you knew his son, she had nearly squealed with excitement. And the fact that he had given you a gift as well? Your mother was already to start planning the wedding.
You were just friends with him, there was no need for her to freak out over this. However, you couldn't stop thinking about that brief moment that the two of you had a couple days before. Damian had the most mesmerizing green eyes that you had ever encountered in your life and you wanted nothing more than to look into them again.
However, you refrained from texting him about plans again. You talked to him daily since your last hang out but didn't want to force another puppy date - or just the two of you - for at least a few more days. He was a good friend, and you didn't want to spook him off before you got the chance to know him better.
Lucky for you, you never needed to worry about plans. Damian texted you the address of what you assumed to be a coffee shop just over a week since you had last seen him. You had to admit that waking up to his text Sunday morning had caused your heart to flutter with excitement.
By the time that you were dressed and on your way to the right place, it was just about ten in the morning. Terry was in your passenger's seat and his head was sticking out the window. As you pulled into the small parking space, you saw Damian waiting alone just outside the door.
His black hair was slicked back - different that it was every other time you saw him. You liked it that way, it showed off all his features and made it easier for you to admire. "Guess you weren't supposed to come, Ter," You looked over at your dog. "Oh well, too late now. Wish me luck, bud," you raised your hand for him to 'high-five', a trick you taught him a while ago.
Terry walked in front of you and was excited the moment that he laid eyes on Damian. He smiled as he saw you, an action you weren't expecting. "Sorry, I mentioned your name this morning and he wouldn't let me leave the house without him."
"You talk to him a lot, you know," Damian pointed out. A faint blush rose up your neck. "I saw you, both times in the car." Your cheeks felt like they were on fire - this could not be happening. He laughed at your embarrassment, the kind of teasing that made you wonder if he was trying to flirt. You desperately hoped that was the case.
Damian had the tendency to tease you lots when you spend time with him. Most of the time you could tell that he was joking, but the other majority of the time you couldn’t help but feel that there was more too it. A glimmer of something would shine in his eyes - a look that you couldn’t help but melt under.
"No worries, I talk to Titus all the time. He's the only one that doesn't come up with idiotic responses,” Damian assured, placing his hand on your shoulder. It was the first time that he had even come near to touching you on purpose and the shiver that ran up your spine had to have meant something.
"Dogs truly are man's best friend," You agreed. Damian retracted his hand and reached down to pat Terry on the head for a brief moment.
"Wait until you see my pet cow."
"You have a cow?" You didn't know what was more shocking - the fact that he truly owned a cow or that he wished you to come visit him at his home. Damian only nodded, he had many pets.
Terry was aimlessly walked between yours and Damian's legs. You didn't realize how much available leash he had until he had completely wrapped himself around the both of you. You weren't paying any attention to him - which once again had been a mistake on your behalf.
Another dog walked by on the street. Terry wasn't big, or strong, but when he wanted to pull, he could give a vicious tug. This happened just at the wrong time. You were trying to untangle yourself and as Terry tried to attack the passing dog, he had forced you to lose balance.
Once again, Damian had managed to catch up before you landed on the cement. You had gotten your wish of wanting to be close to him again. To smell the sharp cologne he wore and notice all the little imperfections on his face. The faint scars, the freckles on his dark skin. He truly was just as beautiful, if not more, as his father.
"I think our dogs are trying to get us together," You blurted out. First Titus, now Terry. They were the reason that you had met and the reason that you had stumbled into his arms twice now. You hadn't meant to speak you thoughts but it was true. You really thought that the dogs were aware of your feelings and were trying to make you act on them.
"I don't know about you and Terry, but I trust Titus with my life."
