sorry for my lack of knowledge about the world everyone 😔 i’ve been hit in the head a lot when i was younger and it made me very stupid
i’m back again with a question for anyone who may have an answer or an idea, but does anyone have a face care routine/products that’s hydrating & good for both sensitive dry & oily skin?
if i get things for dry skin it messes with the oil an makes that way worse, if i do something for the oil it makes my skin dry out real bad— i can’t seem to win an my poor face is suffering lmao
i’ve tried cerve, cetaphil, aveeno, an so on— hadn’t had a lot of good luck depending on what i’m using it for, like for example so far with the lotions they’re like to oily or something an my skin gets really shiny an my pores clog that or the worst part it makes my skin feel weird an gross an i lowkey freak the fuck out :’((

its so rare to see but i genuinely love seeing people draw fat/cellulite/stretch marks/pimples/etc in real as fuck places esp in NSFW art. like yeah yeah these things (esp stretch marks) on tiddies is becoming more common in art and is hot - but show me art (esp nsfw or horny art) thats got cellulite on the inner legs? stretch marks on the belly that are unable to be ignored? or better - on the arms. on the hips. sprawled everywhere it could possibly be. show me fat arms and pimply backs and hair all over. like. more diversity in art of fat people frankly in general is just so appreciated

Ooohhhhh my god I can't believe
Tumblr media
Homeopathy? For real? You're telling me to take a pill/cream from the people who believe that water has a memory?
Just in case anyone needs a refresher on this bullshit:
Homeopathy is based on the law of similars (‘like cures like’) which states that a substance that causes specific symptoms in a healthy person can be used to treat those symptoms in a sick person. Remedies undergo a process called ‘potentization’ which describes stepwise dilution from the ‘mother tincture’ combined with ‘succession’ (vigorous shaking). The underlying assumption is that the more dilute a remedy the greater its potency, even though according to Avogadro's number, with potencies beyond 12C (12 centesimal dilutions) the chance of a single molecule remaining in the final solution tends to the infinitesimal.
TL;DR: If you were bitten by a snake, homeopathy would try to cure you by giving you the venom from the snake. But don't worry! They also believe that diluting the active ingredient makes it more potent!
"As world-renowned scientific skeptic James Randi put it: 'this would be tantamount to grinding a grain of rice into tiny particles, dissolving it in a sphere of water the size of our Solar System, and then repeating this process about 2 billion times.' One of the ways by which followers of homeopathy deal with such criticism is their claim that water retains a memory of the substance: even after it is gone its properties are embedded in the water molecules."

the thing abt skin care that sucks is that you truly cannot get multiple benefits from one product which is incredibly annoying when you like things simple as possible. especially frustrating when you have combination skin. AND youre fucking broke

Oils dissolve silicone, right? If I got a silicone bowel to hold the water that cleans my paintbrushes, I wouldn't be able to use my (water miscible, meaning I don't need paint thinner or mineral spirits) oil paints in it, yeah?

so many creatures putting SO much effort into putting ‘special’ fluids that TOTALLY aren’t water through every organ possible to clean them so they can use them again 2 seconds later. like why not simply sit on a damp substrate and pull water through your body by evaporating the extra out pores in your leaves lmaoooo

got a huge sebaceous filament out of my face after looking at it for literally a year. i gotta say, i don't think oil cleanser and an exfoliation tool were going to get that thing out of there.
