sorry for my lack of knowledge about the world everyone 😔 i’ve been hit in the head a lot when i was younger and it made me very stupid
i’m back again with a question for anyone who may have an answer or an idea, but does anyone have a face care routine/products that’s hydrating & good for both sensitive dry & oily skin?
if i get things for dry skin it messes with the oil an makes that way worse, if i do something for the oil it makes my skin dry out real bad— i can’t seem to win an my poor face is suffering lmao
i’ve tried cerve, cetaphil, aveeno, an so on— hadn’t had a lot of good luck depending on what i’m using it for, like for example so far with the lotions they’re like to oily or something an my skin gets really shiny an my pores clog that or the worst part it makes my skin feel weird an gross an i lowkey freak the fuck out :’((
#i didn’t use to have this problem before hrt cause my skin was only dry but now that i’ve been on testosterone for like 2 years my skins—#really oily AND dry an i can’t seem to find anything worthwhile to help with this problem ;v; )#any help or tips or anything would be greatly appreciated#also how the hell do you deep clean pores? i can’t seem to get those fuckers unclogged an my skin looks so gross in my t-zones#i tried a thing that was supposed to help with that an wowie it made my skin SO much worse lmao

its so rare to see but i genuinely love seeing people draw fat/cellulite/stretch marks/pimples/etc in real as fuck places esp in NSFW art. like yeah yeah these things (esp stretch marks) on tiddies is becoming more common in art and is hot - but show me art (esp nsfw or horny art) thats got cellulite on the inner legs? stretch marks on the belly that are unable to be ignored? or better - on the arms. on the hips. sprawled everywhere it could possibly be. show me fat arms and pimply backs and hair all over. like. more diversity in art of fat people frankly in general is just so appreciated
#its bc they look like me btw#i am explicitly sexualizing these things and praising artists for this bc a wider body with a little pudge is cool and all#but i want more real as fuck bodies#it doesn't even take a lot the one i saw literally just peppered some dots& curves on the inner thighs and bam. that's it. thats all it took#like its sooooo easy to add these things#and frankly the art of fat women esp being so fucking CLEAN is also just. illogical#not to say fat people are Dirty[tm] but its overly clean#theres no body markings. no pores. literal sex dolls but wider the same way clothing stores think making their clothes literally bigger w/o#taking into consideration the unique shapes that fat bodies bring to the table#does this make sense? also am i alone in this??#anyway if u see dyke art esp with flawed women in it i always wanna see

Ooohhhhh my god I can't believe
Homeopathy? For real? You're telling me to take a pill/cream from the people who believe that water has a memory?
Just in case anyone needs a refresher on this bullshit:
Homeopathy is based on the law of similars (‘like cures like’) which states that a substance that causes specific symptoms in a healthy person can be used to treat those symptoms in a sick person. Remedies undergo a process called ‘potentization’ which describes stepwise dilution from the ‘mother tincture’ combined with ‘succession’ (vigorous shaking). The underlying assumption is that the more dilute a remedy the greater its potency, even though according to Avogadro's number, with potencies beyond 12C (12 centesimal dilutions) the chance of a single molecule remaining in the final solution tends to the infinitesimal.
TL;DR: If you were bitten by a snake, homeopathy would try to cure you by giving you the venom from the snake. But don't worry! They also believe that diluting the active ingredient makes it more potent!
"As world-renowned scientific skeptic James Randi put it: 'this would be tantamount to grinding a grain of rice into tiny particles, dissolving it in a sphere of water the size of our Solar System, and then repeating this process about 2 billion times.' One of the ways by which followers of homeopathy deal with such criticism is their claim that water retains a memory of the substance: even after it is gone its properties are embedded in the water molecules."
#I guess I trust these people to clean my pores#but I'll be checking to see how they sterilize their tools#because I don't want an infection#pseudoscience and mystic bullshit#homeopathy

the thing abt skin care that sucks is that you truly cannot get multiple benefits from one product which is incredibly annoying when you like things simple as possible. especially frustrating when you have combination skin. AND youre fucking broke
#my skin is changing bc of t which i knew was coming but i have to change all my skin care products which#i can neither afford nor am willing to do multiple steps in hygeine. just clean + moisturize. thats it please.#two different lotions for different locations on my face? toner? serum? sunscreen separate from my lotion? are you fucking kidding me#AND ALL THE GOOD SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTS ARE SO FUCKING EXPENSIVE!!!!!!#but my pores and im breaking out........ aughhh#which is not good for my skin picking all i wanna do is pop blackheads which only makes it worseeeee AUGHH

Oils dissolve silicone, right? If I got a silicone bowel to hold the water that cleans my paintbrushes, I wouldn't be able to use my (water miscible, meaning I don't need paint thinner or mineral spirits) oil paints in it, yeah?
#back when i was just using watercolors i used just two small regular bowls for brush cleaning#and when the water had evaporated i just cleaned the paint out with a damp paper towel#but since i started using acrylic paints more the left-over paint just cakes onto the bowls after the water evaporates#i had hoped the bowls were smooth enough i could just peel the dried paint off but i guess the coating has tiny pores or something#and now when i dip my brushes in the bowls tiny bits of the dried paint will flake off and get on the brush and then on the canvas#i know people use silicone containers for acrylic paints because you can just pop/peel the dried paint off#I've seen advice to use those silicone popit fidget toys as acrylic palettes even#anyway i use water miscible oil paints from time to time but if I'm right i can't use a silicone water dish for those

I can’t believe the skin cream i’ve had that causes the least acne and makes my skin pillowy but not greasy is a family dollar exclusive……. i’ve impulse-bought a lot of lotions but the one that i was pretty unsure about prevailed
#it’s got a lot of glycerin which is good for skin like mine#it’s not as rich as most night creams but it feels comfortable enough#weightless and clean but a little dewy when fresh#it’s got plenty of shea butter and a teeny bit of sunflower oil#and vitamin e which my old favorite had#my skin is very sensitive and my pores clog easily even with toner so i’m really surprised#it was like five dollars

I have. genuinely never hated a book to movie adaption as much as I hate the movie version of the hunger games
#'her species sir?' 'i mean victors' WOULD MEAN SO MUCH MORE IF KATNISS WAS POC IN THE MOVIES#AND THEY DIDNT EVEN LET PEETA BE AN AMPUTEE#the story's whole heart got stripped clean by the movies I think#it became a more sanitized and therefore more comfortable version of itself#but that took away what makes the story so good#in my opinion at least#the hunger games#ALSO. the way in the first movie we can actually see Katniss's pores and whatnot#but in Catching Fire she's constantly in a full face of makeup#HATE IT#I'm going to make so much fanart to make myself feel better#also the took the hunger part out of the hunger games??? what was up with that

so many creatures putting SO much effort into putting ‘special’ fluids that TOTALLY aren’t water through every organ possible to clean them so they can use them again 2 seconds later. like why not simply sit on a damp substrate and pull water through your body by evaporating the extra out pores in your leaves lmaoooo

got a huge sebaceous filament out of my face after looking at it for literally a year. i gotta say, i don't think oil cleanser and an exfoliation tool were going to get that thing out of there.
#it wasn't a blackhead which is insane to me#because it's genuinely been like a year that i've been focusing on that spot and cleaning extra good moisturising extra long etc etc#but somehow it was just a really intense sebaceous filament#i wonder what that pore is gonna do now#how do you move on from something like that#adam yaps
