Excellent Benefits of Swimming Pool Fencing Installations
Whether you like it or not, if you have a pool on your property, you must get the pool fencing installations done. The federal law of Australia clears it that in the absence of all fencing, your pool will be declared an illegal entity, and the local government will take strict action by imposing hefty fines and penalties. Pool fencing installations come with many benefits and advantages for property owners. Let us go through the advantages here in this blog post.
Keep Unwanted Visitors Away
The first benefit of these installations is that they will keep people from the danger zone around the swimming pool area. Kids and pets love to play around the poolside area, and any unpleasant accident can take place in the absence of security pool fencing. This issue can be eliminated completely with the help of good-quality pool fencing.
Keep Your Family Safe
With this fencing installation around your pool, you can be assured about your family's total safety, irrespective of where you are. This pool fencing installation means that even if you are not present, no one can access the risky zones around the poolside area. These installations come with a robust gate that is self-latching and self-closing, forbidding anyone from getting into the dangerous zones.
Enhance the Overall Appeal
Glass pool fencing installation of any kind, like semi-frameless and frameless security pool fencing, will not just enhance the security of the poolside area but, at the same time, improve the looks and overall appeal. They will make the place look more stylish and modern while making it secure and spacious. To increase the value of your property and investment property's, pool fencing is a kind of valuable investment.
Considerations For Installing Pool Fence
Make sure the pool fence is installed as per the specifications
The fence should be installed only by professionals
Lock any other way to access the backyard
The locks should be high enough to prevent kids from reaching them
The doors on the pool fence installation should have self-closing hinges
You can also install a gate alarm for an additional level of protection

Sweet & Salty
I'm feeling a bit sad today so wanted some comfort... Sebastian x (afab) reader, Stardew Valley, Fluffity fluff Warnings: Mention of recreational drug use
-
It’s been a day. You’d sat down heavily on your porch steps, trying to keep the tears at bay. You should probably go mope in your bed, instead of staring at the land that is causing you so much distress. Despite your carefully placed scarecrow, you must’ve miscalculated the distance because the crows have still had a go at your most recent plantings and that’s hard-earned money down the drain - again. You’ve been here two months now and, surely, by now you should know better. The farm has been somewhat transformed since you arrived - a mass of weeds, stone and dead branches - but it’s nowhere near how you remember it in your grandpa’s heyday. He would’ve never made such a rudimentary error in his scarecrow placement.
Some of the fences around your crop patches have started to erode too – it won’t be long until they need replaced, but you’re trying to save up your wood supplies to put in a coop from Robyn. You desperately want to add chickens to the farm as eggs would be steady income – or at least you reckon – but you also don’t want them pecking at your crops alongside the crows, so having a fence seems important too. Your endless to-do list swirls around your head again. Why’s everything so hard?
It's not just your failings on the farm on your mind, but also your lack at making any real friends around here. Shane glared at you this morning as he headed off to work. That’s not unusual, despite your best efforts of a smile and a friendly greeting. Then Haley looked you up and down, judging your dirty dungarees. You’d only popped into town to get some seeds from Pierre’s. It didn’t make sense to get changed… Elliott is sweet but locked away in his cabin most of the time, Emily in her own little world… Sebastian, Sam and Abigail have invited you to play pool with them, but they’re such a tight-knit group and you always feel like you’re missing out on the joke, especially when you were partnered up with Sebastian. He’d been teaching you how to hold the cue correctly, leaning over you, his breath tickling your ear. Sam and Abigail kept nudging each other and whispering, but you couldn’t catch what about and it was clear Sebastian was becoming irritated. You’d begun to think they were making fun of your abysmal pool skills.
Ugh. Your emotions are a rollercoaster and the twisting pain in your stomach reminds you why – stupid period. It emerged with a vengeance this morning. It had stopped in your last months of JoJo Corp. There was no chance you were pregnant, your last intimate relationship fizzling out a year previously, though you’d taken tests just to be sure. The doctor in Zuzu City said you were stressed, burnt out… that it would return once you were feeling better in yourself. So why had it returned now, of all times? You feel more stressed and burnt out than ever before, regretting ever moving here. Why did you think you could become a farmer…?!
The barrier finally breaks and you let out a sob, hugging your knees.
To your shame, there’s a scuffing footstep and your heart stops as you look up, worried who’s seen your breakdown.
“Sebastian?” You sniff. You’re tempted to rub the tears from your cheeks but maybe he hasn’t noticed in the evening light. The black-haired man is standing there looking sheepish, a brown paper bag from Pierre’s clutched in his hands.
“Er, hey…” He’s not meeting your eyes. Poor boy probably wants to run. “Sorry, I… I was just leaving Sam’s and I didn’t want to go through town and see everyone, so I thought I’d take the scenic route back home through your farm…”
“Oh.” You mumble, waving him on. “That’s okay. Go ahead.”
He takes a step as if to go on his way, but then hesitates. “Are… Are you okay?”
“Y-yeah,” you plaster a smile on, which you’re sure makes you look ridiculous as the stupid tears are still flowing. “I’m just being silly. Don’t let me keep you.”
He stares at you for a moment, before a sympathetic smile graces his lips. “You’re a terrible liar, you know?”
“I’m not ly- Ow!” You flinch as your stomach cramps terribly and you squeeze your arms around it, hoping in some way it might alleviate the pain.
Sebastian is suddenly at your side – the paper bag from Pierre’s dropped to the ground. He’s kneeling down on the first porch step with a frown on his face. “Whoa, are you hurt? I can get Harvey…” His hand hovers over your arm,
“No, honestly, I’m fine…” You try and wave him off again with one hand, the other arm still wrapped around your stomach.
He stares at you, a raised eyebrow. He seems to be putting the clues together – the wincing, clutching your stomach, the tears… He nods, making up his mind and gets to his feet, picking up the discarded bag from Pierre’s as he does so.
“Come on, let’s get you inside.” He offers you his free hand.
“Thank you, but I’ll be okay. You get on home…”
“Farmer, I know I’m probably not the person you want to see right now, but let me help you out, okay? I can’t go home and just leave crying on your porch.” He waves his offered hand again. You look at Sebastian, hesitantly. He looks genuine, at least, but there’s something a little off about him tonight… Heck, you’ve already made a fool of yourself enough, so what’s one more thing?
This time you accept his hand and he easily pulls you to your feet and leads you up to your door. He opens it – you’d easily adapted to the habit of leaving the front door unlocked since moving to Pelican Valley.
You go to open your mouth, to tell Sebastian thank you, but he can go now. You’re inside, you’ll go to bed and pretend this never happened.
“Sit down.” He orders, pointing at your bed. “You like hot chocolate, right?” You wonder how he knows that, how he knows you have a stash. Had you mentioned it at the saloon before? “I’ll make you a cup.”
“But you don’t know where…”
“I’ll find it. Sit!” He pushes you gently towards the bed and you do sit, keeping a wary eye. To be honest, it is quite easy to find your cups and kettle. Robyn had advertised an extension to you but you don’t even want to think about the price and the materials needed. For now – perhaps even for the rest of your life - you’ve got a cupboard filled with crockery and silverware. The fire’s roaring away, you’re thankful you’d lit it earlier to try and make it cosy ahead of going to bed later on. The cabin always had a slight chill at night. Sebastian retrieves a mug and spoon, scooping the hot chocolate powder into the mug, fills the kettle with water from the jug you keep besides the cupboard, before taking it over to the fire to heat.
“Do you have a hot water bottle?” He asks over his shoulder.
“Huh?”
“Hot water bottle.” He enunciates.
“Y-yeah, I think it’s under my bed. Let me…” Before you can bend down, he drops to his knees and Sebastian is now crawling under the bedframe to retrieve it. You pull your legs up off the floor to the bed, not sure what to say.
He reverses back out, holding the fluffy hot water bottle in the air triumphantly, and gets back to his feet. “Finally, where do you keep the snacks?”
“I don’t have any. Sorry, I wasn’t really expecting to entertain.”
“Not for me,” a chuckle – it sounds a little odd coming from him - “..for you!”
“For me?” He’s acting so weird.
But he’s not listening, already rummaging around the brown bag from Pierre’s. He walks over to the sofa and empties the contents besides you – there’s a couple of packs of chips, cookies and candy. “Ta-da!”
You look at the assembled junk food and back up at the black-haired man, noticing his blood-shot eyes.
“You’re high.”
Sebastian laughs again, rubbing the back of his head. “Guilty. Is that a problem?”
“No, it just… explains a lot.” You wince again as the kettle on the fire whistles. Sebastian grabs the mitt you keep nearby for that exact purpose and places it on his hand, removing the kettle from the fire and placing it down on the hearth. Methodically, he pours some hot water in the hot water bottle, tightening the cap, before pouring some in in the cup he retrieved, stirring the hot chocolate powder until it dissolves. Once he seems happy with his work, he brings the two over to you on the bed.
“Okay, since you worked out my thing, it’s my turn. Time of the month, right?” He flops down next to you on the bed, ripping open a bag of chips. “My sympathies.” It feels surreal as he holds the bag towards you and you take a handful – maybe junk food would make you feel better, and the warmth of the hot water bottle is soothing too now against your sore tummy.
The only sound for a few moments is the rustle of the chip package and the crunching of said chips. You take a sip of hot chocolate, probably a weird combination at that moment in time, but it’s working.
“Sebastian…”
“Mm?” You’ve caught him with his mouth full.
“How are you so good at this?”
“Erm…” He swallows. “Well, I guess cos I have a sister and a mom… and a friend named Abigail.” He replies in a teasing tone. “Maru and Abi usually just get super pissy though. Mom’s the crier.” Sebastian leans forward and grabs the blanket off the end of your bed, throwing it over the both of your laps in a smooth motion. Who knew he could turn into a right chatterbox? “Wanna watch some TV?” He picks up the remote control and turns it on without waiting for a response, flipping through the channels. “Do you have a preference? Nothing deters Abi from horror, Mom and Maru go chick-flick mad…”
You burst into tears again.
“Whoa, okay, no TV! That’s fair too.”
“N-no, it’s n-not that.” You let out a shuddering breath. “Why are you being so nice?”
“Because we’re friends…?”
“No, everyone hates me here.” You know you’re being irrational now, but the floodgates have well and truly opened.
“Come on, you know that’s not exactly true.” His face looks serious now.
“It is. I don’t know what I was thinking – I worked in customer support, why did I think I could farm the land? I’m going to be broke by the end of winter if I lose another batch of crops and this town is so tight-knit that they’re never going to like me being here.”
“I like you being here.”
“No, you’re just saying that because you feel sorry for me.” You go to take another handful of chips, but he snatches the bag out of your reach indignantly.
“I am not.”
“You are.” You clip back.
Sebastian lets out a huff in frustration and he acts before he can even consider the consequences. He puts a hand on the side of your face, turning it slightly and presses a gentle kiss on your lips for a moment or two, immediately causing your tears to cease.
“Would I kiss you if I didn’t like you?”
“I…” You don’t have any words.
He swipes his tongue over his lips. “Mm, salty. That’s not how I expected our first kiss to go, I’ll be honest.”
“Our first kiss?” Your face is on fire. It has to be on fire, why else would it feel so hot?
“Yeah, well, I told you I like you, didn’t I?” He grins, before it drops. “Though I’ve just realized that you probably don’t like me like that, I’m high, and now I’ve made this a hundred times wor-…”
You cut him off, caressing his lips with your own for a moment.
“No. I like you too.”
“Well, that’s that settled, then, isn’t it?” He leans back, a smug look on his face before he grabs the packet of candy. “Shall we see what a sweet kiss tastes like next?”

After hours
A story about how Eddie and Y/n, and how they break into the Hawkins community pool. Swearing, sexual, flirty. (Eddie x Y/n, No use of Y/N. Eddie x Reader.)
Eddie fumbled with the keys as he took them out of the ignition, his car stod secretly behind a tree near the community pool. He had his sweetheart with him, he wanted to impress her by being a little reckless and bold.
With a sly grin, Eddie glanced at his companion, a mischievous twinkle in his eye. "You ready for this?" he asked, his voice low with excitement. Eddie leaped out of the driver's seat of his van with a burst of energy, landing firmly on the ground beside the vehicle. He runs to the other side of the car. With a grin, he extended his hand, gesturing towards the side of the van. "My lady," he said playfully, as she followed suit and stepped out of the van, inviting her to join him with a casual yet chivalrous tone.
“Oh, why thank you, good sir!” She responds playfully, she takes his hand delicately while carefully lifting her legs graciously out of the van.
As Eddie and the girl get closer to the metal fence a thrill of anticipation comes coursing through their veins.
Eddie knew he had to make an impression, to show off his rebellious side in a way that would leave his companion in awe. Suddenly they were right in front of the fence, Eddie looked at her for a second and smiled.
With a swift motion, he hoisted himself over the barrier, landing with a soft thud on the other side. He turned to his partner, a smirk playing on his lips. "Your turn," he whispered, his voice tinged with a hint of mischief. She starts climbing but gets stuck on the sharp fence.
"Eddie!" she whispers urgently, a hint of panic in her voice as she struggles to free herself.
Eddie sees her struggle, “Hold on,” he says. Her shirt catches on the fence riding up slightly, and he gets a view of her stomach and her bikini hiding underneath. With gentle determination and focus, he moves closer, his finger delicately tracing the fabric to free her. His hand graced her skin under her breasts. He can feel a flush of heat rising to his cheeks. At that moment, he becomes acutely aware of her presence, the scent of her hair, and the softness of her skin under his touch. His breath catches in his throat, and he struggles to find the right words, his mind racing with a whirlwind of emotions.
When she’s freed from the fence, she jumps down, and together, they creep towards the edge of the pool, the water shimmering invitingly in the moonlight. Eddie couldn't resist the urge to show off a little more. He grabbed his shirt at the hem and dragged it over his head, his tattoos decorating his toned body. He threw the shirt on a sun chair behind him. He grinned and walked slowly towards the pool and with a dramatic flourish, he dove into the pool. As he surfaced, he looked at her, a grin spreading across his face. "Come on in," he called, his voice playful. "The water's perfect." Feeling his curls sticking to his face, he ducked down again, running his hand through his hair to push it back and away from his face. As he straightened up, his locks now slicked back, he flashed a confident grin, his features framed by the sleekness of his hair.
The girl pondered, "How can I leave a lasting impression on him? How can I push him over the edge?". With deliberation, she began to remove her garments, his gaze never wavering from her figure. In his mind, he marveled, "Shit, she’s hot." His legs felt weighed down as he trudged forward, his jeans clinging to him, drenched and dragging him down with their weight.
She settled herself at the edge of the pool and gracefully lowered herself into the water. Eddie's gaze remained fixed on her as she glided towards him, inching closer until they were mere inches apart. His gaze lingered on her chapped lips before meeting her eyes. Without hesitation, he reached out, gently grasping her waist, and leaned in to kiss her. She eagerly kissed him back, and he slid both his hands to the sides of her face. Feeling the intensity of the moment, she wrapped her legs around his waist, pulling him in closer.
As their embrace deepened, a sudden interruption shattered the calm night. A sharp beam of light pierced through the darkness, illuminating the pool area outside the metal fence. Eddie's eyes widened as he caught sight of it in his periphery, his heart leaping with a surge of panic. Realization hits him, and he holds her tightly around the waist, and with his might, he puts her on the edge of the pool.
“Shit, shit, fuck someone’s here. We need to go,” he whispers.
They scrambled to exit the pool. With hurried movements, they fumbled to retrieve their clothes, urgency lending speed to their actions.
In the chaos of the moment, their hearts raced with the fear of discovery, with one last glance back at the pool, they jumped into Eddie's car. Her wet clothes left a puddle on the passenger seat. "I'm sorry, Eddie," she said sheepishly, "the seat's all wet now. Do you have a towel?"
Eddie smirked. Without a word, he grabbed his shirt and tossed it to her. She caught it with a grateful smile and promptly sat on the shirt to avoid getting the seat even wetter. He shifts the van into reverse, the wheels spinning as the vehicle wobbles down the tiny hill. Once on the road, he skillfully maneuvers the van, swiftly turning it around before pressing down on the accelerator, and speeding away. He looks a little to the side, both hands still on the steering wheel, and sees her thighs dripping with water, still in her bikini.
"I wish I was my shirt sooo bad," Eddie joked, earning a laugh from the girl. She playfully hit his arm and retorted,
"You're such an idiot."

Exile! Mammon x F!Reader
Mammon had a secret life. After all, his brothers can’t destroy what they don’t know. But what if they found out? Would they use this moment to be supportive? or destroy his single source of happiness?
Next
A disagreement within the Household of Lamentation left Mammon packing, which wasn’t the first time. He comes back–eventually. Mammon always found a reason to return home, always. And even then in his absence, he wasn’t truly absent. Lucifer was able to keep track of his wildcard of a brother. He was so chaotic, destruction followed. All Lucifer had to do was pick up the newspaper and read. However, this time around not even the local casinos saw him.
Then finally! He returned. To Lucifer’s surprise, there were no traces of damage. Mammon was different. Here the minute, gone the next. Mammon was only present to handle royal affairs or attend mandatory meetings. Of course, there were occasional moments where he needed to cast judgment on those who were assigned to his layer of Hell, however, once the business was handled –Mammon was gone.
It continued for a few years until Lucifer sought interest in his whereabouts. What changed him? Every demon he sent to trail him wound up missing or dead. The leads were cold, and no information was gained. It was only a matter of time before he did it himself. The Lords of Hell soon found themselves on a trip, scouring the realms of the world to find their dearest brother, Mammon.
When they did not find him during the first search it made them realize Mammon did not want to be found. While Lucifer hunted high and low he discovered rumors and talks about what’s become of his brother. Mammon did have a track record. He was known for entering bad deals, being easily manipulated, baring a curse he was unable to break. They all grew restless, and aggressive in finding answers. Some necks had to be broken, some lives had to be taken. Each result had Lucifer stepping over pools of blood to get to him.
Lucifer had everyone dispersed to cover more ground. Naturally, it was he who discovered the location. The neighborhood was quite…ordinary, basic, a place Mammon would never be caught dead in. The community was bright, friendly with neighbors who’d say ‘hello’ as he, a dark entity passed through white picket fences. A solid knock from his fist nearly unhinged the door. Even in his humanoid form, Lucifer was still large, still mighty. A single flick was all he need, anything more could decimate cities. Frustrated was what he was. His patience ran thin. It was not often Lucifer loses his composure but when it comes to those he loves, composure be damned.
“Hello, how many I help you?”
Lucifer wasted no time getting to the point. “Mammon. Where is he.”
“And you are?”
“It’s not about who I am but what you are going to be.” The air became thin. “Now. Where. Is. He.” A single wave of his hand had the knob snatched from your reach.
Enough of these games, he demanded to see his brother. A dip of his head, he stepped through the low door frame. Mammon was here, he could smell him.
“Excuse me!” you exclaimed, brutally shoved from the entrance. “You need to leave!”
Lucifer’s shadow consumed your form. Tsk. As if you were a challenge, you were barely an opponent. His aura dispersed through your home, immediately plants began to wilt. His crimson eyes radiated the gates of hell, instilling fear into your soul. Maintaining a distance, you accidentally collided into the furniture; the vase toppled over, shattering. A spell left your lips, attempting to buy some time to run–
“Did you really think such amateur hex could work on me?” he adjusted his gloves, breaking the barrier to pass the entrance hall. “You are more foolish than I thought. A trait that will now cost your life.”
“Does he owe you money too?” you whispered. “Please,” you plead. The racing of your heart left you breathless. “I’ll give you the money, just don’t make a scene–”
Before you knew it, small footsteps approached the confrontation. Tiny hands held a stuffed animal, a small child appeared but was frozen from fear. There’s a stranger in the house.
“Mommy?”
Lucifer’s intense demeanor shifted to observe this miniature human. No one else had those striking blue eyes and soft milky white hair. This human was, different – familiar.
The fear was evident in your eyes which made tears swell up in his ocean blues. “M-Mommy, I’m scared.”
“MJ, go back upstairs, I’ll be up shortly.”
As much as he wanted to move, he couldn’t, his legs refused to listen. Even with blurred vision, MJ saw the dark power. It drained everything of its natural energy. He was feeding from life itself. MJ had never seen anything like this, his eyes glossed towards yours and watched how it was consuming yours too. Soon his socks soaked as he made a puddle on the floor. In seconds you raised your child into your arms.
“If you can wait outside, I’ll give you everything I have, just please, leave my children out of this,” you reasoned.
Rage diffused from Lucifer’s body and was replaced with a new feeling, an unfamiliar emotion he dared not name. He took a moment to observe the walls and furniture of your home. Gradually, he approached a frame causing you to take a few steps back. Lucifer held it. There were you…him…and two additional members who ironically looked just like his brother. His dark eyes creased, unable to handle such vital information. Setting the photo down, Lucifer removed himself from the premises to make one single phone call.
In seconds you bolted up the staircase, MJ cradled against your chest until you reached the nursery. Maximus was peacefully asleep when you snatch him from his bassinet. He stirred a little but you hushed him forcefully. Traveling light, you wrapped him against your back.
“Mommy, my socks,” MJ whined.
“Honey, we don’t have time for that,” you grabbed his hand. “Let’s go.”
He fumbled a little, “B-But I'm wet.”
“We’ll change you later,” you promised. Quickly the two of you moved. That man – no, demon – invaded your home without permission. His presence was heavy, he made you weak. For a moment, your knees buckled as you pushed open the door. You surely would have fainted if you had stood in his presence any further.
MJ lagged, small legs unable to keep up with your ferocious steps. Eventually, you boosted him into your arms. MJ’s buried himself deep into your shirt as you move, fearful of what’s to come. The exit was near, you could taste the freedom on your lips. Once you were outside, they wouldn't act. Demons wouldn't dare draw attention once in public. Where there were demons, hunters were to follow. If only you could get out in time.
The second you saw the door, the man was already sitting across the room – comfortably, as if he didn’t break a sweat in arriving before you. It felt as if time had stopped the moment you saw him. Expression – unreadable, he stared, not at you but at your children. He rose while your legs failed to continue. The blood rushed in your ears, your heartbeat – loud.
Everything slowed, you were suffocating in the coldness of his presence. You tried to speak and say something, but there was nothing. Your mouth stayed shut as the demon approached, gradually closing in on the children. Your arms trembled with the lack of control. MJ peeked out from your shoulder and the intruder did not bare the atmosphere of death. Gently, you lifted your babies higher, trying to shield them both from view.
“I am not going to hurt you,” he disclosed.
He was lying, had to be. This demon came with intentions to tear you to shreds. What caused him to change so easily? Your throat constricted painfully. What should you do? Should you run? Stay still? All options seemed useless. Cause no matter what if he wanted you dead, you would be.
“I am Lucifer Morningstar; Mammon’s eldest brother.”

It wasn't very often that they stayed at a motel that actually had more amenities outside of a vending machine with stale chips and lukewarm sodas. It also wasn't very often that they could indulge in the luxuries of something as mundane as swimming to pass the time, but the A/C unit was doing a piss-poor job of actually keeping the room cool, even at night, in the summer Texas heat. Sammy was irritable, more so than usual for a moody teenager, and the muggy weight of the air was doing nothing to alleviate his temperament.
"Well I'm going in."
"Dude, it's 2:30 in the morning, the pool's closed."
"So?"
"We don't even have bathing suits."
"So?"
Dean's expression dead-panned, an agitated sigh being breathed through his nose at Sam's headstrong rebuttal. He weighed his options; he could argue with Sam and physically barrier himself between his little brother and the door, or he could buckle and just give the kid a little bit of relief from their hot box of a motel room.
"Alright, fine, cool your jets."
"That's what I'm trying to do."
A victorious smile curled over Sam's lips before he went to the bathroom and grabbed two motel-quality towels no thicker than a folded in half paper towel, pushing passed Dean to head for the door.
They jumped the locked fence and stripped down to their boxers, careful to make what little noise they could stifle as to not draw attention to their afterhours delinquencies. Sam was the first one in, wading from the shallow end until his feet could no longer touch the bottom while keeping his head afloat, Dean following with a grimace at the temperature.
"It's like freakin' bathwater," he complained, and Sam turned to swim backwards some to glance towards his brother. The light in the pool was off, but he could still make out Dean's features, the discomfort being somewhat amusing to him.
"Stop being a baby," he replied in a hushed tone, which earned him a splash in his direction.
"You're the baby, whinin' about it bein' too hot."
"Shh. C'mon, it'll feel better," Sam encouraged with a smile, watching as Dean came in deeper but stopped once the water had reached his collar bones. "What's the matter, afraid you're gonna drown?"
"Shaddup. C'mere," Dean replied and Sam swam back over, a smug little grin still on his face. He felt his wrist get tugged under the water, bringing them together before his brother's arms were looped around his waist, holding him close against his body. Sam's hands found purchase on Dean's shoulders as his eyes found his, and even in the dark, he could still see his freckles and the gentle curl of his lashes in their closeness.
Dean only held or touched him when it was dark. Something about the threat of light made it too big of a risk to try anything, even if their eyes were the only ones to bear witness to it. But here, they had cover, and floating in the water lifted some of the weight off their shoulders.
"Feel better, Sammy?" Dean asked, the same way he asked every time they were pressed together, voice carrying just enough to reach Sam's ears, and suddenly he had goosebumps. His breath shallowed and a subtle nod followed, his eyes making a quick sweep down to his full, parted lips.
"Yeah," Sam exhaled, taking his next breath from Dean's mouth as he kissed him.

What sort of naughty activities does Miss Budgie get up to?
She is a terror!! We’ve recently had a saga where I discovered she pesters the German shepherd through the fence when I’m not home. Runs up and down yapping and stirring him up. I only realised when I happened to catch the neighbour HOSING her over the fence on the camera!! And honestly, I am 100% team neighbour! What an annoying little dog! So I put up a barrier of pot plants to deter her. Came home and the plants were squished. Presumably she just ran across the pots instead of along the ground. Finally I’ve put up shade cloth and she is being much more appropriate. My neighbour is an angel and insists that budgie and the shepherd are still good friends.
One night she climbed up onto the kitchen table, found a tube of nutrigel in the puppies’ bag (nutrigel is a thick, sludgy, tarry goo - I used it to help prevent/treat hypoglycaemia in the cane corso puppies), carted it off onto the couch, made herself comfortable, and devoured it. Sticky black goop all over the couch, cushions and her beard. And of course, this gave her a raging tummy ache. She had diarrhoea all throughout the house. Then peed on the spare bed for good measure. THEN came back to bed with me before I woke up, and tried to convince me she’d been there the whole time.
She refuses to swim in the kiddie pool I provide for them and instead opts to squish herself into the water dish - muddying it up so everyone else has to drink Budgie flavoured water. She expertly removes lids off of feed containers to engorge herself on food (cat food, dog food, chook food…), she steals toys off her siblings, humps moby, rebounds off moby, tackles moby, bites moby’s butt, shrieks at moby…. Literally any annoying behaviour she has tried it on moby. She is ALWAYS up high on a chair, table, barbecue, fish tank… regardless of whose house we are at - she will find the highest horizontal surface and defy the laws of physics to reach it.
Budgie is a giant twerp! The most mischievous, cunning little dog I’ve ever met!
Also.. it was later discovered that she did not in fact smoosh the plants while fence fighting. The plants WERE an adequate deterrent for budgie, she hasn’t bothered the shepherd since they were planted. I assumed she trampled them to continue her antics with the shep. Nope. Henry squished them whilst thoroughly inspecting the new flora for potential geckos. He was just on his everlasting journey to hunt all the gecks.
