Hair Brushing (Fugimoto x reader)
feeding myself since no other writer do!
Tooth rotting fluff (also this is for Fugimoto from ponyo)
Not me simping for fish themed dilfs
Anyway enjoy my caffeine induced fluff rage
"owww it's pulling!~" Fugimoto whined
You rubbed his hand quietly and whispered," you know if you actually brushed it it wouldn't pull"
Fugimoto whimperd, "mmmh it hurts tho~"
"I know baby.", you whispered," I'm almost done"
After you finished brushing our his hair and started braiding it, "now's the fun part Fugi~. I get to braid it"
You felt Fugimoto sigh as he flopped back onto your chest and purred as you finished braiding it

something about Ponyo is that Liam Neeson is like this super edgy gritty action actor most of the time but i just know him as Ponyos Dad every single time i hear his voice

I got this really beautiful deck of Castle in the Sky playing cards from Barnes and Noble and I got the autistic urge at 1 am to arrange them in chronological order only to find out that the deck has them numbered in that order (it goes spades, hearts, diamonds, and then clubs) which is fucking Neat
This is what the backs of the cards look like (and also the box they came in)

Introducing my son to his first Studio Ghibli movie gotta be part of my family tradition! He sat and really enjoyed Ponyo yesterday for a long time in comparison to how long he usually sits and watches movies.
He enjoyed the opening with all the amazing creatures.
He also pronounced Ponyo properly and how they say it in the movie (Pon-yoh, and was firm about this admirably), without the heavy "O" I usually say it with. I explained as many of the creatures as I could.
He was most keen on seeing a squid randomly, I didn't even know he knew what a squid was but its not surprising with how much I like sea creatures, especially things like octopus.
But yes, a bunch of squid turned up, so he was pleased about that. 🐙 🦑
I was funny showing him all her funny little siblings, too. "What are THEY?" Honestly, dude, nobody knows, just they're Ponyos miniature swarm of sibling babies.
I watched my first Studio Ghibli movie (Howl's Moving Castle) around 11, and it was the first "anime" style piece of media I fell in love with (and Howl lmao) and which has caused me to adore manga and anime so much to this day, still.
I hope when he's older, he might end up liking it. It's okay if he doesn't, though. It's very important to me that he builds up his own interests rather than mine. I try to let him pick everything that resonates with him whilst also introducing him to stuff I like, stuff I'm not into he might like, and giving him an option. Obviously, though, like anyone, it feels lovely, too, when you share things of common interest with your kids.
I'm trying to save up to see the theatre production of Spirited Away next year in London. Oh god, how I hope I can get there. He might even be able to come, but we must try out cinema trips first and see how those go.

I introduced my spawn to Ghibli films early. There are certain days that just feel right for certain movies, such as stormy days for Ponyo.
And on those stormy days while we're watching Ponyo, it's of course required that I prepare "Special Ramen", with the egg and ham and everything.
Anyway that's pretty decent mom-ing.
