I have the most fucking in-depth thoughts about the Net Saviours polycule man like Theres three humans two navis one guy who doesn’t quite feel right in either. Laika lives on the other side of the planet and Netto doesn’t do long distance so they have to cope. Enzan doesn’t trust anyone except these people and he loves his navi and his navi trusts everyone here implicitly so so does he and Rock knows what it’s like to not belong. I’m screaming. Search nearly got court-marshalled for these people and he loves them all so dearly but fears what happens should he get called away to war so doesn’t let himself get attached. Netto doesn’t really know what attraction is but he feels so unbelievably safe when enzan and blues are here and laika’s on the phone should he be needed and he knows he’s never gonna lose his brother again. Netto, Enzan, Rock, and Blues all share a tiny penthouse that Enzan rents with his own money away from IPC and it’s a bit pokey but the view is great. Laika knows the exact time of the flight down to the minute.

Any headcanons or AU style things with Weiss

Hey friend~

Weiss is one of my fav lil goobers, but I realize I haven’t really sat down and thought much about her character. My brain just turns off when I see her it's just 'mm yes is Weiss :)'

Anyways, I gave it a go. If there’s anything specific you’d like to know (shipping/character relationships/her take on canon events) just ask me further. Enjoy my ramblings:

The eyelid of Weiss’ scarred eye is damaged, permanently drooping

She’s the queen of puppy dog eyes

I like to think she takes after Willow a lot. There’s a lot of shared personality, characteristics, even looks between them. She’s a mama’s girl and Willow’s ‘favorite’

Weiss is forever cold, always liking to bundle up in some aspect. If anyone warm is around, you can usually find her snuggled up with them

I'll ship Weiss with a lot of the main gorlies. Big fan of polypiles

I feel like she wears red because of her grandfather, keeping his colors around as a reminder, but eventually she also associates the color with Ruby. Seeing her as a leader and partner to look up to and rely on

She is so easy to read. There is no hiding how she’s feeling

I like to think she hates wearing heels, but damn if she wont continue just to keep the slight height she can afford

She likes to pet Blake and Vel's ears sometimes. Soft, warm, it's chill. (This comes from the anthology manga)

The sexual tensions between her and Coco sets off geiger counters

She will steal other’s clothes, having at least one item from just about everyone she’s on good terms with

There’s a response Miles gave about how her kebob incident with Cinder played a large role in shaping her current personality, and I totally agree with it. Escaping death def changes a person

Expanding on that, I also think Weiss is now rather anxious/paranoid about Cinder the way she keeps being targeted by her. Sudden fire startles her and Weiss refuses to split off on her own if on missions or anything open like that

Weiss eventually surpasses Yang in humor but it's cause of her dry wit, never the puns

Post Atlas, her and Winter are on more equal terms. Her sister's been knocked down the pedestal some in her eyes, but she still holds respect for her all the same. She can just act more casual with her like she does with team rwby

Weiss knows a lot of 'cultured' skills because of her privileged upbringing such as chess, orchestral instruments, dancing, sports like tennis and badminton, even cooking, but the one thing she could never manage was baking and it haunts her cause all she wants to do is make a yummy batch of cookies for Ruby 🍪

Weiss prefers coffee as her hot drink of choice, but she makes attempts to drink Blake's favorite teas so they can bond over that

Unpopular opinion, people who get mad when others ship companions or literally any other character with doctor because it ‘gets in the way of Thoschei’, because the doctor wouldn’t love anyone but the master, are a bit not smart. Because the doctor is the doctor. He can love anyone. Him loving a twink won’t get in the way of thoschei.

oh, so strongly agree. hell, it’s not even a thoschei specific thing; this is a cross-ship, hell, cross-fandom issue that only makes the experience worse for everyone involved. people on the side of a particular ship get a fandom experience that becomes more homogenized and echo-chambery as they push out and bully anyone that disagrees with their ship, and everyone else doesn’t get to participate in a fandom they love in a way they want to without feeling overlooked or in worse cases, actively harassed by others.

and not to get on my soapbox about this, but i’d be remiss not to point out that this entire idea. this concept that somehow a character can only be allowed to be a part of one pairing and any other pairings with them are sullying them. it doesn’t just have its roots in fandom ship wars, this is an import of a culturally christian idea that a lot of people aren’t unpacking when they come into fandom because here, they can weaponize it, they can use it to “win” a ship war. frankly? gross. this is not a belief we should be reproducing. it perpetuates the belief that people have to remain “pure” romantically/sexually for a partner or else they’ve committed a sin that they must atone for.

(or, in fandom, when people are confronted with say, a canon love interest or other ship in the way of theirs. well. right now i want you to remember all the fic you’ve read and tally up how many had characters in amicable relationships with their exes (canon love interests or not) and how many had exes that were out of character bitches just to make it easier to break the pair up. that’s how it manifests, and it’s no secret that this goes hand in hand with misogynistic bashing of female characters.)

honestly, maybe i’m just polypilled, maybe it’s the multishipper in me, or maybe i just have a life, but it’s ridiculous to act as if characters are a limited commodity and shipping them with one person prevents them from being shipped with another.

AND its doubly ridiculous for both halves of thoschei when they are both canonically polyamorous AND thousands of years old!!! these are not characters who would in any way conform to the straight-laced standards of a monogamous romance in any universe!!! it is, canonically, a thing they are constantly having weird little scuffles about! the fact that the doctor keeps falling in love with other people is like!!! a factor in their relationship that irritates the master so so much that she used it against them one time to try and destroy gallifrey (clara hybrid moments)!!!

the doctor has loved so many and so much. and the master. well, honestly, we don’t think they know how relationships work but sometimes they don’t kill people on sight and that’s kind of like romance <3 but my point is. yeah. ridiculous notion. they are not confined to anyone’s interpretation of shipping them, whether in canon or out of canon.
