消息称，本轮和谈将就释放战俘和被关押的人、批准搜寻失踪人员和移交遇难人员遗体工作组相关规定，以及其他问题进行讨论。此外，参会各方有望通过国际反恐问题和在叙利亚进行展开人道主义排雷工作联合声明。 

据悉，根据第六轮和谈结果，停火担保国就在叙利亚设立第4个冲突降级区达成了协议。外交部称，阿斯塔纳进程、和谈取得的成果和冲突降级区有效缓解了叙利亚冲突。

“I can affirm that,” De Mistura told Sputnik, adding that the meetings will deal with the resumption of the politicalprocess in Geneva according to the UN Security Council resolution No.2254. 

De Mistura said earlier that he will announce the date of the upcoming round of the talks, expecting it to be at the end of October.
