I kind of wish TCG Pocket had a story mode, because so far it’s just collecting at a slow pace and battles that want you to actually complete the recommended decks before you can reasonably challenge them.

I find the comparison between the new and old Rapidash quite interesting.

They don't really compete with each other. The old Rapidash still fills its niche as a great Stage 1 that mitigates the disadvantage of starting the first turn with a heads quite well, since we can evolve it first on the third turn, and with the cost of just one energy we're already set to focus on powering up our other Pokémon on the bench.

The new Rapidash... Definitely scary. Potentially ONE HUNDRED DAMAGE for a measly 2 energies, or even 130 damage with Blaine.

But this is mitigated by the fact that there's a 50% chance of doing the same damage as the other Rapidash, but at double the energy cost. Definitely not for those who don't appreciate RNG, as a large part of its damage depends on it.

I have no idea what the TCG Pocket meta is like, but I think Swanna might be a big part of it. A non-Colorless Pokemon with entirely Colorless energy costs… that sounds like a dream!
